The owner couldn’t be bothered to respond to the email I sent, so posting here to warn others.Today (Feb 25) I was in your store at about 10a and this was my experience.- I stood at the register for at least five minutes with two of your employees looking at me several times from the aisle with no move to assist. I finally said can someone help me and he made me come to him.- I saw that he wasn’t wearing his mask over his nose so I backed up. He said “don’t be scared” and I said I’m scared of people who after a year of a pandemic refuse to wear masks correctly. To which he replied that he’s sick of wearing masks.- I told him everyone is but that people are still dying. And his response was to remove his mask completely.- I left the store when this happened and I will never come back. And I recently bought an apt in the neighborhood and need a lot of work done. But that shouldn’t matter. Your employees need to be better trained.

Expensive, over priced, and if youre a female theyll likely give you a condescending tone if youre asking for specialty parts. The only reason I ended up making my purchase was because of the urgency of needing them, otherwise youll find better selection, service, and pricing on Amazon/Home Depot. I originally preferred to support the local business but now Im very much regretting it, especially since I just read the small faded print on the bottom of my receipt that I cant return loose items.

This is a excellent hardware store! They will accommodate you in every way possible. Vito will order things you need if they are not in stock. The customer service is great. They have everything you need. Its like a small, personal home depot. I have been a customer for 20 years.

If i could give less than one star I would. On every occasion that i have gone into this store they quote prices which are at least double the ACE across the street. In addition they are nasty and dishonorable. The only reason to go to this store is desperation. Try the ACE across the street or to First Ave Supply House a little bit further uptown. I am sorry i didnt learn from past experience and didnt avoid the SV True Value-

Despite the great reviews, this cashier has very bad etiquette, he refers to his customers as crazy i had my key made here today and it was shaped the wrong way so when i went back he told me that the key is shaped the wrong way because it costs more, which i was not notified about the price when i brought the key, its only when i came back that he tried to change the price. He Discriminates so if you are not hispanic do not go into this store he will put your money on the counter instead of putting it in your hand. i am not tryna throw the race card in but it is a fact, his whole attitude changes when he sees a black person. Another lady came in and didnt speak a word to him and he automatically assume she was spanish and started speaking Spanish to her. she had to tell him she was not spanish and that tells you right there that he only Assumes and has no ettique. Sadly this is a problem within this community. I will not be returning.

A terrible experience! Im all about supporting local and family owned businesses but these people deserved to go out of business. The employees working there were rude and unmotivated, good luck trying to get their attention. Every customer that walked into the store were automatically labeled as incompetent. The prices were high, the inventory was disorganize and super cramped. Do yourself a favor and go someplace else.

Google Maps shows that store should open at 8 am, but it was still closed at 8:15 on a Thursday. Please adjust the hours here, thanks.

First time i went there and the cashier ( dont know if its the owner ) it was full of attitude..i asked for something and he gave me something else and after that it was talking behind my back while i was 2 feet away from him.. I dont understand this people they are there to make money and to do a job like everybody else.. I will never go back there and I will not recommend to anybody to go there...

As a contractor from Queens I came across this hardware store the other day , I had a small job to do and I didnt want to make a trip back to Queens, they made my day , they had everything I needed and gave me info on some new products that will make my life easier, I wrote this review because they saved me a lot of time and in this business time is of the essence .
