As a alumni from this school about 8 to 9 years ago I’ll advice anyone that loves there children to not send there kids here, for one the teachers at the school were highly passive aggressive and lacked the means to wanna teach there students. Another thing is there school is discriminative against people of darker skin and favored children of lighter skin, when I went there majority of the kids that were African American or African were teased for there dark skin or were mocked to resemble monkeys. For a school that advertises there school based on catholic beliefs they have a weird way of showing it. Another thing is their greed for money when it comes to tuition. I remember when me and certain classmates didn’t have there full tuition paid, they’ll literally take you from class and send you home and you wouldn’t return until the bill was paid. I thought education was important for the better of our community. It seems Sacred Heart lacks that concept. I’ll suggest sending to your kid too any other public school located in Highbridge this school ain’t worth it.

As a parent I wanted the best education for my children, I found it at Sacred Heart. The teachers are dedicated, loving and caring to all the students. The teachers and staff were always respectful, happy and eager to help whenever I had problem. I would definitely recommend sending your child to Sacred Heart.

Very loving caring school. My Grandchild has learned a lot while attending this school. The children are also well behaved. I love their security guard she knows all of the children and their parents thus making me feel my child is in good hands when I drop her off. This school is a Precious Gem in the Bronx

Found cases of beer on the auditorium stage while picking up my child. The receptionist claimed that the beer didnt belong to the school and that they had no control over the people who put that there. She then went on to say that children are not allowed on the stage... That was a lie. I had gone back in to take my child into the bathroom and there were little boys playing tag on the stage.Honestly though? Im not really impressed with anything else either, the building seems to be falling apart, the staff is rude and of course nobody seemed to really care about there being beer where a child can easily reach it. I mean, if a student brings in beer they get suspended but if it mysteriously materializes then theres no issue?Ive been in public schools run better than this. Ive been in teen shelters run better than this. I can go as far as to say Ive been to church basement summer camps ran better than this. Absolutely disgraceful.

Its been 16 years since I was last i moved to Charlotte from the Bronx. But I was a student at Sacred Heart from kindergarten until the fourth grade! Honestly, I missed Sacred Heart so much when I started going to public school in the south. Sacred heart is a great school!

This school is honestly the worst school ever , they called their self catholic but they dont even teach anything about religion. The building is falling apart. I attended this school , and one day some of my classmates and I seen a cockroach in the kitchen where the food was. The teacher there are so rude mostly the ones in the main office! Honestly the only greate teacher I had in that school was Mr.Fedak from ELA , we learn a lot from him.But the other teachers didnt really know how to teach , and I wasnt the only one who would say this. I hate this school so much. All they care about is money, if you dont pay they wouldve kick your child out the school till you payed , this is horrible because the student is missing days from learning.

Hmm U wouldnt have made it back then. It made me who I am 2day. Responsible, Respectful, Successful. So dont give up and work hard its worth it. It makes life easier in the long run... My brother Joe, sister Lill, and I, all went to Sacred Heart and Joe went to St. Josephs when he entered 4th grade in 1962. That summer we moved to Long Island and had to go to public school. We were all far ahead of the kids in the new school because we had been taught to read properly by the Sisters at Sacred Heart, the Brothers at St. Joes, and my mother pictured below.
