The facility had a leak when I don’t know, I had furniture and clothing ruined with water damage. I put in a claim sent pictures to the insurance company all to find out the company they use for insurance doesn’t cover water damage so beware.

First time going and it was pretty simple and easy :) very close to my moving destination too. Francia Farrell was very helping and nice. She showed us the storage rooms and the whole process of everything. She has also given us a lot of information that made the whole storage rooms worth the price. Has cameras and locks, very safe.
So let me give you my experience with this location, but more specifically with the site Manager Francia who has been an effective, talented, understanding and professional manager over the past 2 years I have been using Safeguard Self Storage at the Ozone Location, NYC.Due to Covid19 Travel ban in 2019 - I have had to make the moving of one of my apartment to this location from abroad in some of the most difficult sanitary and financially time. Francia was exemplary as a manager AND a human being. I really cannot tell you how it felt to have someone with care and understanding when you are blocked overseas having half of your life moving to a new location. She was able to make online ID verification, E-signature, drafting of contract all online, and so on all online, storing the spare keys, and taking care of my lease while making it as convenient and easy as she could.Given the recent lift of the travel ban, I got to finally meet her when I emptied out my storage and again she was ON POINT. Keys were there, information about the closure were good, and her help regarding the facility management were so helpful as well as the help she provided me with the trash/junk removal services. I rarely leave reviews, but when a stranger is going beyond his job duties to help you out, especially in these times of crisis, you gotta highlight it and give them their well deserved credit !So again, THANK YOU Francia and your staff, your human nature and professionalism really made a difference into my life and complicated situation.Upper Management ---> she deserves that raise and employee of the year bonus !
I went into the safeguard storage facility on 10/16/21 and the girl behind the desk ms.tyesha was beyond helpful and knowledgeable super kind. She knew prices and and showed me availability. I made a reservation and was happy. Will definitely recommend to my friends.
This was my first time using this storage place, and Francia was great! She answered every question I had. She also went into detail explaining about the unit and the lease. She was very polite and helpful during my reservation. The building was clean as well as the elevators.

I have been using the storage for more than a year great customer service and safe area. Be careful with hours, it is not 24hours they have specific hours of operation.

Tyesha and Francia really helped up out tremendously, they were clear about all the rules and definitely showed us kindness when talking to us about the storage unit, they showed us the unit and since we had a lot of stuff they helped get us a ground level to help us move more things smoothly. I highly recommend this storage location because of the prices and most definitely the excellent customer service from Francia. She was so courteous and knowledgeable about the units. Best experience Ive had with a storage facility by far! The place is clean, rent is fair, and it is easily accessible. Francia and the team go above and beyond for their customers. I was in a pinch and she let me move in beyond the closing time.When it came time to moving out the movers were late so once again I was in a bind and Francia allowed us to stay about 15 minutes past closing to finish unloading my things. This saved me a whole extra month of rent. She easily could have went home on time and collected an extra month of rent.Now that is customer service! Thank you, Francia :)

Awful staff let people who were not on my lease from Copley, Ohio into my storage unit without my consent. Eight boxes of my personal property were stolen missing. Safeguard Self Storage is an Atlanta, Georgia corporation and like all Atlanta corporations there is corruption! It is not well managed and people with no storage contract are loitering around. Police do nothing to help the situation

The staffs are very friendly and helpful, I had a situation where I had to move from one unit to another before my time was up and they allowed me to. I had top change the name on my account to a different name and they went above and beyond to help me do that. The place is very clean and have cameras all over. Its spacious. I worked with a rep named Joseph in setting up my storage here. Joseph was very polite and helpful, and got me setup very quickly. The building itself is easily accessible, storage prices arent too bad, and the unit I rented out as clean and ready to go on my moving date.

Great help by the staff especially Kim who helped me with the accommodations I needed just coming off of military and a cross country relocation. Facility is maintained, never had a issue and supplies are always in stock unlike some other places. Im always greeted with courtesy and I always feel welcome, never rushed . If anyone rents here, I hope you meet Joseph! I had the pleasure of meeting him the day I rented the unit and the day I had to move in my items. On the first day, Joseph greeted me with a smile. It was my first time ever renting a storage. He explained what it entails and took the time to show me other units outside of my reserved spot to show me that I did have other options available if I wanted to. During the tour, I noticed how clean the entire building was. I read other reviews before and expressed to him that the cleanliness was one of the reasons why I chose this facility. He made the whole experience friendly and wonderful.The second interaction I must admit I was not in the best moods. I was moving from New Jersey to Queens, with only myself and my father to do all the physical work. I called the facility to explain I was running late due to heavy traffic (since your storage closes at 5 on Sundays). Now imagine, 6 hours of moving HEAVY furniture with just one other person, stuck in traffic, then to get to the facility a few minutes after 5 REALIZING I forgot my unit keys. I was beyond frustrated. Joseph, with amazing patience, graciously jumped to solution strategy to open my unit. He made my entire stressed out day turn into an easy, calming one. His attitude of Everything will be ok helped tremendously! I was able to purchase a new lock which instantly put me at ease. He let us move in my things into the unit, knowing it was after 5. I was beyond grateful for him being there and how helpful he was! You dont get customer service like that often. I would highly recommend this storage facility based on my experience with your employee and how clean it is. Thank you so much Joseph!!!

I had a 5×13 storage unit for awhile. Easy to get in and out of space with card access. Parking is just two bays & street parking is limited. Hard to deal with weekends and people who want to get into storage.
Stored at this storage last year. Needed a unit again for some seasonal items returned because of the great experience i previously had. The staff here is outstanding. From the moment i arrived the manager Haresh remembered who i was and thanked me for choosing this location again. If you are in need of a storage this is the place to be. Been storing at this building for over 2 years. Have not checked on my unit for a few months now however today i did. I was amazed at how clean it was. The new management is doing a outstanding job!! Definitely recommend if you are in need of a storage.

Decent storage. Parking can be difficult because there are only two stalls and limited street parking. Also, the flat beds are frequently gone for hours. I also wish they were open later. Its clean and secure in the plus side.

The hours of operation stink I think it’s all about the money 7 o’clock they close unbelievable 5 o’clock on weekends

Very nice people work here and clean storage. I tell my friends to rent here for the people and big storage room good priced.
Its a self storage place. Pay your bill on time and there are no issues. No parking, but 2 vehicles fit in the garage area. Many people will park on sidewalk.No wifi.

Very professional staff. Clean facility. I required 24 hour access. They did not offer that therefore I needed to move otherwise great place.
They raised prices frequently. I moved all my stuff out after 8 years and left nothing behind and they said I had to sweep the dust thats in there. Dust not piece of boxes not pieces of plastic DUST that was collected there by the facility it self. When I rented I sweeper it my self because they gave it to me full of dust.

2022-03-02So far great service! I’ve been with them for a month. This is my first storage unit & they’ve been pretty accommodating with keeping me up to date with my rent. Francia & Eddy are nice & informative with any questions I have had! Also great pricing! Another place I had considered near by was going to charge me $80 more for the same size unit

She made a very stressful situation very easy and I would definitely recommend my friends and family to use this place for their storage needs.

2022-03-24As someone who purchases storage units that go up for auction, this facility has been one of the most pleasant to work with. As soon as I came in, I was warmly greeted by Francia and within a few minutes I was being escorted to the unit I had purchased. Francia is the best. The paperwork was quickly processed and she was extremely informative. Also, the facility itself was very clean and well kept. I look forward to doing business here again.

2022-02-01UPDATE: the company reached out to me and gave me a full refund. It took a while but im happy they could understand where this whole situation was unfair.. I updated the stars but if I ever need their service in the future I would have to just go in person instead of doing anything online.Horrible service. I will update this review depending on the outcome of my experience. I purchased a locker unit online that states there was a promotion and there was only a limited units available from their website. On the website it did not specify anything about walking up a ladder and crawling into the unit. I am medically not able to lift anything up a ladder. I personally went to the office to inform the staff this information after seeing the type of unit it is. The lady at the front informed me that she would let the supervisor know and get back to me. She never told me anything else. Today she calls me back and says she wont be able to refund me my full amount because of admin fees and some other fees. I informed her I never used the unit and I even went there to let them know I would like to cancel. She then gave me an attitude and even though I told her I am not medically able to, she questioned what I informed her and pushed it off. I asked her to reach out to someone and she said she would speak to the district manager. This place is basically fraud because she didnt even know what was on their website or knew anything about what the promotion said. She obviously needs training on customer service and as well as how to speak to a customer over the phone. Will update with the outcome of this.

2022-04-07I had an issue in which my credit card expiration date being expired and was applied a late fee which got me upset. I contacted Safeguard Ozone Park location and Francia went out her way to assist me and got my issue resolved in less than an hour. Definitely, an asset to the company 😊
