A completely satisfied customer. My Son and I opened a new unit today and received “outstanding” customer service from Lakey and Chaney (not sure of spelling). They were super knowledgeable and explained the entire process from soup to nuts. The facility was clean and well organized and we couldn’t be more pleased. Lakey took care of my needs from the initial phone call to my exit out yhe parking lot! She was there every step of the way. She answered all my questions and accommodated me in such a way to make sure I was satisfied. I was having a rough time and she certainly made my transition a lot easier. The icing on the cake was she did all this while her internet was down, toggling between all her available devices, with a smile on her face. Horrible staffing at 11924 JAMAICA AVENUE The woman in there is obnoxious and is always complaining about cleaning. She always has an attitude. I wouldn’t recommend anybody to come to this specific storage. I even called corporate and they kept siding with her. So that conversation didn’t go no where.

I went on April 8th. Erica helped me and immediately greeted me as I walked in the doors. I was happy to see Covid protocols being followed as well. The facility is very clean. Erica took the time to answer all of my questions and she helped me to understand the ins and outs of storing with Safeguard as a first-timer. She went through my contract very thoroughly and she was happy to show me how to safely use the ladder. Ericas customer service made me feel safe and comfortable with choosing this Safeguard Self Storage location for my storing needs.

My experience with Safeguard Self Storage of Hollis well exceeded my expectations. Amari never failed to provide superior professional service even when he appeared to be the only staff for the entire building. The line at times would reach the door, but his patience, caring and understanding with each customer was ever present. Other companies can take a page out of Amaris book on customer service. One suggestion to Safeguard, value good employees and stop raising rates.

Unlike the other associates i came across .She has patience I love how just from the few little conversation we have had whether It be from the phone or in person, she always has the best personality and always keeps It real! She made sure to take my specific needs into consideration and provide me with the best options available. She was thorough when giving the tour as well as when explaining the lease terms. I would recommend this storage facility to anyone who is looking for storage.

2022-03-31Shani and this Safeguard staff is awesome. I’m not going to lie; we crossed paths a couple times due to late payments but she was always understanding and would advice me accordingly. Sad to say I am moving and had to exit my unit but if you’re in the neighborhood and need a unit with high accessibility and a helpful staff, come here.

2022-01-31Today’s the first day of my lease at safeguard storage in Hollis Queens, NY. It’s convenient located on the outskirts of Elmont where I currently reside. I may be here for 30 days or six months, based on how successful I am with the sale of my residence, hence the need for this mammoth of a storage unit reservation (10x20).But more so I was really here because of the savings. They offered first months free or 20% off six months.My sales associate (La-Key) made this experience welcoming and a break up from my monotonous crazy day, she was courteous, professional, knowledgeable and detailed about each step of the rental process/lease agreement.Even though she was the only one and staff she she found the time to give me a tour of the facility giving me the opportunity to pick the unit of my choice, not to mention that I ended up taking a smaller unit (10×15) that was her only unit and wouldn’t qualify for the first month free promotion, she recognized my dissatisfaction and paid me the courtesy of still honoring the promotion on that unit. This spoke highly of her of her empathy and her character. Thumbs up. She’s a keeper.Thanks for making this experience seamless.**Christopher **

2022-06-05I had a major blessing pleasure of being helped by Shani & talk about being open on a Sunday and actually having a staff (Shani was the only person on-site) but that didn’t stop her from kickin butt at helping me. She was extremely enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and phenomenally passionate about their job and overall customer interaction. This is a keeper hear!!
