Excellent food, excellent service. Enjoyed every food item served.
Fake restaurant, cancelled my $30 order without any reason after wasting 15-20 mins of my time. Sadly, Uber Eats didnt allow me to send a review.Reply to answer: This is not how it works. In Brooklyn, hundreds of drivers are fighting for the opportunity to deliver the order. They cannot cancel my order, because if they refuse, it is transferred to another driver. Why blame Uber Eats, better explain to your employees that this is not nice to do.
Excellent flavoring of food. I got the Vietnamese pad Thai, pork/chicken chops and some sort of beef asparagus special.The staff were very attentive and friendly however we did go during non peak hours so Im how attentiveness will fare when dinner rush occurs.
Enjoyed both take out and eating at the restaurant. Unfortunately did not take pictures of appetizers, but they were delicious. Food was steaming hot and everything tasted delicious. Service was great too! Looking forward to returning for dinner.
Great food and atmosphere. We ordered three entrees: Chicken Curry, Shrimp Lemongrass, and Broccoli with garlic along with a handful of chicken satay appetizer. This was plenty of food for a group of 5. The wait staff helped us surprise one of our party with a birthday cake and candle. They also offered to take a few group photos which was really sweet. Finally, we were able to easily reserved a table through Google.
Oh my goodness! This was an amazing treat! Let me say that the food smelled so good that I actually forget to take a snapshot of it! I ordered the porkshops #40 on the menu... So well seasoned, grilled, juicy, and tender. Also, they were not cheap at all with the food! It was totally amazing!!! I will definitely come here and and I highly recommend them.
Was a 3 1/2 star experience for me. I ordered the large Beef Pho for just a little under double the price of a small one. What was disappointing was that the noodles and beef were so skimpy.I normally frequent Pho Vietnam. Their bowl is slightly cheaper with a lot more noodles and meats.Décor is nice and staff is fast and friendly.
Was supposed to go to Battista but saw it was closed, and we went across the street. My friend wasn’t a huge fan of her rice but we love my Vietnamese pad Thai! Good prices as well!
Nice decor and clean inside. The grilled pork chops were nicely seasoned, tender and perfectly cooked and came with 3 big chops. The beef pho was slightly bland and needs more seasoning.
Great restaurant. We go there all the time and the service and food is always consistent. We usually get the curry soup(lasga) , chicken skewers and vietnamese pad thai. Everything awesome.

It was a Friday early eve and we decided to meet a friend since it was not far from his house. Parking can be challenging in this area with the ither restaurants on the blocks around it. The Saigon sign outaide is big and you cannot miss it. Once you enter, it has a nice little atmosphere with the bar immediately to the left of the entrance. There is enough for 8 to 10 people at the bar. The restaurant is fairly long in length with fair amount of place to eat. They have booths for multiple patrons also. There were about 6 groups inside, not too crazy for a Friday night.Ordered a Japanese beer and some hot sake to make sake bombs to start with some fried oysters. It comes in a dipping sauce. We downed 2 sake bombs to get our appetite going. They have a huge menu divided into many groups; fish, chicken, pork, beef, vegetable, rice, etc. We went for the shrimp dumplings and it also came with a light soy based sauce. We chose the grilled shrimp which was so tasty, amd came with a slight spice and cucumber salad with thinky sliced carrots. I chose the crispy whole fish in a slightly spiced and sweet sauce. The sauce went well with the brown rice that comes with the meal. My friend went with the steamed sea bass which was also quite good. My son went with the rice and shrimp dish. All had good flavoring.I remarked from the other reviews that the service was not good. In this case, they were very attentative and were constantly cleaning. I surmised that because of the language barrier some of the servants have, it may have been misunderstood. I am quite friendly and all the servers were very friendly in reciprocity.Ordered a nigori sake and a Thai beer Singha with our main dish. The cruspy while fush was quite large and it seems all the portions are quite sufficient for a good meal. After we cleared our table, we ordered the chocolate mousse cake. It was ok and not sweet which was fine. We had a good time and the meals was served quite rapidly and we did not have to wait long for any portions we ordered. Yes, a nice place to come and have a nice meal.
I like the chicken and broccoli,its a different taste from the Chinese version.Pork chops are to die for ,and meat spring rolls taste great.

Love this place! Always satisfied everytime I come here whether its for food or just drinks. The server Ben is super funny and extremely helpful. The food is always tasty and portions a big. I always look for an excuse to go solo or with friends and family. Food never takes too long to come out and the drinks are always awesome!! Definitely highly reccomend Saigon!!!

The food here is excellent!!!! Its a hidden gem. I eat here all the time. I only wish more people knew about it. Its never packed, bit Im guessing partially because of the parking situation in the neighborhood & its off the beaten path

We ordered a delivery and they said that the total is 77.00. We computed it ourselves and it was only 56.00. We called them back to tell them about the difference of $21.00 then the guy that answered said that it is a new menu. So why not honor the existing menu? How do we know that you did not update? It is not fair and it sounds very shady and dishonest. This comment is for the owner that your manager is not doing his job. It is so sad that the place is so beautiful and that the food is so good but the people that works there are dishonestand incompetent.
I live up the block from the restaurant they arent good at cleaning their outside seating area. They dont sweep, they dont shovel they leave tables and chairs out all year round no matter the weather. I dont eat there.
Saigon is never disappointing.. love their La Sa Tom Soup and Bo Luc Lac are my go to dishes. We tried the fried rice last time and it paired well with the Bo Luc Lac. Quick service and good price. I hope they open back in Manhattan again!
The marinated porkchop tastes the same as I remembered 10yrs ago at your Amsterdam ave location in the city.

I dont ever get tired of eating at this restaurant. Food to died for. Pleases the Pilate very well. My favorite waiter was Ben. He went back to his country. Now taking his place is Ricardo. My favorite is three - pork chops dish and shrimp Pad Thai noodles. Must have String beans in garlic sauce. You will indeed have some left to take home to rekindle that flavor all over again. Top it off with Tiramisu cake for dessert. In fact, I bought a whole cake which consist of 14 slices to take home. Happy 50th anniversary to us. Yum!

Sooo yummy! I cant remember what the dish was called but this chicken was insanely good. Super tender and flavorful. I also adored the pickled cucumbers, Im still dreaming of them!
This restaurant is by far the best in the Mill Basin area of Brooklyn. The food is always amazing and their drinks are mixed delightfully. I would recommend this restaurant any day of the year. We also always enjoyed when we had Ben as our waiter. Please please please continue to support this restaurant people, it is worth your dollar.
I ordered the pork chops meal last night, the meat tasted a little off but i still ate it and i didnt feel anything. Later that night when i tried to go to bed i couldnt get comfortable, and my stomach wouldnt settle, i ended up throwing up last night and it really felt like my body was trying to get rid of the food.... i will definitely not be ordering from this place again thank you
I have only a few dishes I’ll get from here I feel their food could be better hence why I don’t venture out on their menu much I’ve tried and was disappointed. Their chicken and beef is too chewy and unpleasant and it makes me sad cause I loved the staff and the environment. It’s still and always will be my date night spot and just a great spot to go grab a drink. But they do have delicious soup !! I feel bad just giving them 3 stars but they do need to improve their menu.

I have probably ordered from Saigon, on average, about 1-2x a week for the past few months.Their food is always perfect, and I have nothing to say but compliments.Whether I order the food for delivery or go to pick it up myself, the staff is always super friendly, and the prices are reasonable.

Short vietnamese guy was rude but other than that my husband liked the food and the Mexican guy who have me my order was nice.....It happened about 5 weeks ago I was going in for the first time to pick up food for my husband and I didnt know where the entrance was I saw him outside n asked him n he just walked away, another customer cant looking 4 the screenshot n we found it together, then whine going on restaurant the guy came AGAIN I held the door for him n not even a thank you.....

Excellent food and service. They didnt rush us out after we were done eating like so many rude places do. Very nice and quaint place. It was thankfully quiet when I ate here. Place was very clean and our waiter was quite helpful with menu selections as well as being attentive. Overall a great, cozy place to enjoy authentic Asian food!
Great flavors, fragrant aromas （很香!) and ample portions. We had the Vietnamese - style pad Thai (less sweet than Thai) and the lemon grass pork. Well definitely be back to try other dishes.
Hidden gem! Saigon offers delicious dishes in great portions for the money. We are always happy with whatever we order. Fresh seafood and vegetables. Great drinks. And attentive service. This has become one of our go-to restaurants... And we dont even live close by!
We tried 3 dishes from the lunch specials. I felt that it was reasonably priced. The food was delicious. Wonderful flavors! Clean environment. I would definitely recommend.
I did not like the food. I had fried rolls(#1) and seafood mix with broth (#62). Fried rolls were tasteless, sauce did not help much. Seafood seemed old, except for scallops and shrimps. Broth had tomato and mango pieces and had very strange taste.

We just bought Lunch from the Ave N location ,whole fried Snapper ,Vegetarian Curried Rice and Fried Calamari ,it was excellent ,well done ,seasoned and cooked to perfection .We will definitely patronize again .

Great place in a quiet neighborhood. The fried rice and soups have been delicious everytime Ive had dinner here. Great portion sizes, reasonably priced. Nice ambience and decor. Sweet staff. Its an unexpected gem in this area so its never very crowded, but completely worth the visit.
Have you ever been in a situation once you experience good food is hard to eat something else. This is the issue about the place, the restaurant is so freaking awesome that found myself eating there every weekend. From great customer service to many selections from the menu page. You want Pork, they got it. You want chicken, boom there you go. You want seafood, cha ching, you been served. The place got me asking the host, Psst, how you made the sauce? ... they refuse to give me a response. I had bust down the kitchen door and ask, Papi, need the secret recipe. That didnt work either, so they got me coming here every bloody week to taste and take notes on my own. anyway, trust me, go there and make sure your stomach is empty. Why? You need it for your main course, drinks, and desert. Yeah, you can walk it off by heading to your car.
Went here on a whim for some Pho and I was amazed by the amazing food! Cocktails are strong and delish. The food is tasty fresh and they have large portions.Will be definitely going again.

I came here for lunch with my girlfriend and was surprised by the large portions. The lunch specials are a steal with the portion sizes they serve.I ordered the curry beef, it came a mountain of veggies and beef. The curry sauce reminded me a little of the tonkatsu curry sauce. My girlfriend ordered the pad Thai which was not the traditional Thai style but more Vietnamese influenced with fish sauce. Overall, both dishes were tasty and affordable. Great place for lunch if you work in the area.

We love Saigon GrillWe always get Ben ourFavorite waiter. When we get there he always knows what we want. In the group I am the one he is like I do not know what you want except the lychee martini! My husband and friend gets the #79 crispy noddles and my friend wife gets the pork chops. I always try something new, and if I can not decide Ben said do not worry I will get something you will love.
Oh my goodness...the steamed veggie dumpling, was sooo good...I had the chefs tofu special with asparagus and shiitake mushroom which i dont care for but now u love thanks to this chef....they a great selections with no meat....I will always order from here. Thank u Kim for introducing me to this wonderful spot....

The food was healthy and tasty, salad had a nice touch to it by having pickles in it, my shrimp and mushrooms was tasty, my ice tea even tasted like they sweeten it with honey, I ordered a whole fish fried(bass) in a light batter with a garlicly, gingerly,lemonly sauce on the side. I like it.
I love this place. Its my go to when I dont know what to eat. When I order from seamless they come quick and when I dine in the service is great. The food is always fresh and their Tai Iced Tea is heaven.

Surprisingly great place in this part of Brooklyn. Great friendly service, I have making corporate parties for last few year at this Vietnamese restaurant. As well as taking takesouts almost every week. Highly recommend to try Curry Chicken and Vietnamese style Pod Thai, stake cube. Definitely Lasaga! Try all.
The food here was great!! Im am not a salad person but this place makes one for the books! I came here for a funeral repast so the menu was pre-chosen amd served family style but that was of no consequence because everything was amazing. I had the Chicken Satay Skewer on a bed of pickled salad, spring rolls, fried rice with tofu, shrimp and broccoli and chicken with broccoli. Just amazing. Will be coming back here soon!
Pork chop plate was great. Huge portion. Pho was not that great. Not much meat at all. Better Vietnamese option in bk but China town is the way to go.
Had a great time at Saigon. They have a modernized vietnamese menu. The Pho soup was good. Their version of Steak Cubes (Bo Luc Lac) were out of this world !!! We also had the Chilean Sea Bass and that was *really* good. Even the simple appetizer like beef on a stick was the BEST beef on a stick I have ever had. I really have to control myself from coming here for dinner every night to try everything on the menu. I was so busy eating i forgot to take pictures of my food!! As someone who has been regularly eating Vietnamese food for over 20 years I highly recommend this restaurant. The service was great. The place itself is cozy. They have bend seating and a couple booths. Definitely put this on your restaurants to try in Brooklyn this year. Ill be back with some pics :-)

Place is ok nothing fancy about it. The food is ok wouldnt really recommend. Thought I found a gem in Brooklyn unfortunately this restaurant barely passes. Drinks are bland and watered down. The waiter was not very friendly and felt like we were being rushed to order as if they were closing soon.
This is the second time Ive had pho and thanks to Saigon, it was better than my first time. The quality of the food is apparent as soon as you take your first bite. They have both pho and Alex but I chose the pho during my visit. I ordered the #2 beef pho and it was delicious. After topping it with your preferred veggies and sauces, you just cant go wrong. Absolutely amazing food and great service. Highly recommended!

2022-05-08The atmosphere was great and usually the more quieter times are near the afternoon. The food on the menu, even the appetizers, are well worth their price. The staff are welcoming and helpful and overall a great experience. Well worth the time to check out and dine in.

2022-01-01It was only a quick-lunch stop, but certainly a good one. The restaurant is very roomy, with tables and booths, all clean and spaced well in accordance with present-day health regs. Our vaccine cards and personal IDs were carefully checked upon entering. Service was courteous and prompt. The spring rolls and soup that made up our quick lunch were portion-size-friendly and tasty. Based on this short experience, I would definitely consider a return to have a more substantial meal.

2021-10-26Let me start with fact that delivery took 1hr and 42mns to arrive (ordered on u er eats) Nevertheless, Whoever gives this place a good start don’t know how good real Vietnamese food taste like, here is the picture to prove how they serve regular cheap noodles instead of rice vermicelli noodles on the soup, which by the way were so over cooked I couldn’t even grab it before they broke on the chopsticks, not to mention this soup had no flavor, on top of thats the chicken in this soup is the chix served on takeout Chinese restaurant (which i love) but thats that what I ordered when i order Vietnamese food. But right on my first bite i tasted how the chix was spoiled 😩😩😩😭😭 and there i LOSST it. Do yourself a favor

2022-06-06Great food and very good service. Will be visiting again. My only suggestion is that the place is somewhat dark and brown in décor. A drop more lighting and color...maybe some artwork or lighter paint, would brighten up the atmosphere just a bit more,, make it more lively. Still, its a lovely place to have in the area, where we can go and enjoy a sit-down dinner.

2021-06-16Food was surprisingly good. The pho had a very nice clear broth, not too oily or salty. Not a whole lot of noodles but you can order extra. Spring rolls were crispy. The steak wasnt like the usual Viet steak fried rice but still very tasty. It had a very nice grill char taste. Honey ginger chicken was alright. Not much flavor but not bad. Service was good. My cup was never empty. Place was clean and lots of seating. Everyone was seated nicely apart.

2019-08-23This is my go to Vietnamese restaurant in the neighborhood.Food:The food is always fresh and delicious. The have large portions for a very fair price and almost everything on the main menu is available on the lunch special menu as well, if you happen to join them for lunch.Ambiance:Scrupulously clean restaurant with pretty good music at a reasonable enough volume for enjoyment and conversation. Good sized, clean bathrooms.Service:Amazing service! The guys here are funny and helpful beyond a fault.Definitely check out this place!

2019-06-29Beautiful spacious decor with an extensive cocktail menu. Got the appetizer platter to try a bit of everything. I love that it comes with a pickle salad. The beef curry was flavorful and delicious as well.The coconut sticky rice did not have any discernible coconut flavor. It tasted just like normal sticky rice. Will come back again to try the pho. Portions are generous.
