Great experience! In Fall 2019 Frank’s team installed on my property a 400ft white vinyl fence. During the design/planning stage, Frank’s advice and suggestions were invaluable – we chose a mix of 6ft/4ft high panels and a mix of picket/private/topper accent styles. It looks great. The installation job wasn’t easy – rocks in the ground, two extra large driveway gates in addition to two small gates, and a little uneven ground. The team did a terrific job. After 2.5years of no problems (despite strong winds, frost, snow, etc.), I can say that the labor and quality are excellent. This week, for the first time, a panel got damaged by outside force. Frank immediately responded to my text and was here 2 days later to assess, to order the damaged parts and to offer to fix it the following week – for a very fair price (less than what I was hoping for). I’m lucky they installed the fence; highly recommend them to family and friends.

I could not be happier with the quality of work, timeliness, and professionalism that James and his team had on this project. I highly recommend Salem Fence for any and all projects. James and his team put in over 2,000 feet of 3 rail horse fence in. Every shape and bend of the paddock fencing was discussed and confirmed before the work was done. James experience was incredibly helpful as he raised many points that I was unaware of and his professionalism helped guide me in making the correct choices for our property and needs.

We had a terrible experience with Salem Fence Co, INC. of Mahopac, NY that extended over a 26-month long period. We accepted their top dollar estimate of $60K plus for a pair of very large metal framed, wood clad garden gates, as we wanted to assure professionalism/experience due to the engineering component attached to their large size. The engineering proved sound, but they missed numerous deadlines for design submissions, and gate completion. When the completed gates finally arrived for installation, it became clear that the agreed upon design was not correctly realized. After numerous further delays on the delivery of corrected design, the gates were installed. However, all the wood soon radically shrunk and cracked leaving huge gaps revealing the metal armature below the planks that was supposed to be invisible. Because they hurried to get revised gates fabricated, the seasoned wood we were promised and paid for was instead green. They acknowledged the problem, which was impossible to deny (they look terrible!) and agreed to replace the wood, but then they strung us along from month to month with every manner of excuse from June through January and into the following fall, winter and another spring!We made every effort to work with them to realize a proper finished product, and even made in person visits to the work shop to review progress and assure ourselves that our agreed upon design was being completed as promised. We had been assured by the owner, Vinny Bellissimo, that he would make good on everything, and that we had his word that the issues would be resolved to our satisfaction. In good faith, we paid 95 percent of the total bill at the time he offered these assurances, so that he would not have to wait unduly for his pay given the fact that we still believed he intended to fulfill his obligations honorably. We were clearly WRONG to trust them at their word, and that is a shame since they are a small family owned business.Disappointingly, the conversation disintegrated once the payment was made: no one at Salem Fence would return emails, calls, or texts. We had to make in-person visits to the office to find out what was happening and when repairs would be done. Vinny never did ‘make good’ on his word. We then received a bid from another vendor to make the needed repairs, which came in at of $29,000.00. We are now being forced to take legal action to recover the cost or get Salem Fence to simply honor their word and fulfill their initial agreement.

Great experience with Salem Fence Co Inc. Worked with Frank and his team. Fenced in our entire property with split rail and 6 foot high cedar stockade fence. The quality of the rail they used was the best Ive ever seen. The price we paid was fair, and reasonable given the craftsmanship and professionalism of the service provided. They finished the job in a few days, actually completing it before Frank had told me they would even start the project, which was great. Great experience overall, and well worth the money spent. They have also installed fence at my family members houses, which were also great experiences. Thank you to Frank and Salem Fence Co.

The Salem Fence Company did a fabulous job recently on the fence and gate around my pool at our Westchester County, NY residence. Everything was excellent…. including the price, the design, the quality of the product, the schedule and the finished installation. The manager, Frank and the two installers, George and Gabriel, were terrific. We had considered two other fence companies but are extremely happy that we selected Salem Fence Company. Highly recommended!!! Salem Fence was referred to me by my neighbor, who did their gate. They came right over, and listened to what I needed, sending an estimate the same day. Very professional and easy to work with. Looking forward to working with them on a gate next!

Estimator came out about a month ago still waiting. Funny part is that the company sent estimator to my neighbors house and estimate was sent within 24hours. Fence already built but I guess because I don’t look the same then the treatment is different. Called the office and she claimed she would call me back. The workmen May be good their their in-house customer service is very questionable!

I had such an amazing experience at Salem fence for my fencing supplies. Frank Trifiletti was super helpful in telling me what I needed for my project. These two are very happy with the new fence that will allow them to run around safely all day!

Very professional. Had three quotes, they made sure that the fence would be perfect due to different lengths between stone columns. No one else did as thorough of a job setting up the job, getting the proper fence parts and the final product is fabulous. We are thrilled with the fence and would strongly recommend them to anyone. We will use them again for another fence we will need in the future.
