Wonderful facilities and exhibits, complete with outdoor fish ladder, picnic area, and clean restrooms. The Salmon River Falls are also nearby and worth checking out.

What a great place to learn about Salmon! The free tour guide was full of great information regarding the process of maintains the future for Salmon and other species of fish. Watching the salmon jump the shelves was invigorating. We’d like to come back by October 9th to witness the spawning!

Always enjoy checking this place out when up fishing on the river. Nearly the entire year the fish ladders are full of either salmon or steelhead trout providing great viewing opportunities of large fish. Take a walk inside the hatchery and see how they hatch the next generation of fish for the river!

A super cool place to tour and learn about salmon. I’ve been visiting the hatchery since I was a kid as my dad is a salmon/fishing enthusiast. It’s always a cool trip and educational too.

The guide was excellent!! The grandkids were captivated by big fish! The question of the day? Grampa, why are they pour milk on the fish eggs?😃😃
