The team at Salvatore Dental was so welcoming! This was my first time at the office and it was by far the best dental experience I’ve had. Ally was amazing and made me feel super comfortable through the whole appointment. Everyone was super thorough and made sure that all my concerns were answered and that every box was checked before sending me off. You can tell everyone here loves what they do and care about their patients.

This office is incredible! I have been going to Salvatore Dental since I was in my 20s and I am now in my 60s and would never consider going anywhere else. I started out with Dr. Richard, Sr. and now his son has taken over and is a gifted professional who is so updated on his knowledge of dentistry. They are a wonderful group of friendly and professional people. They always make me feel so comfortable no matter if it’s a cleaning or a more detailed procedure. And they are so thorough which is another reason I keep going back. Becca did my cleaning yesterday for the first time and it was one of the most thorough cleanings I have ever had. They found a cracked filling and even though they were fully booked and it is three days until they close for the holiday, they squeezed me in the next day to be sure I would have no further problems, especially over the holiday. I can’t express enough how wonderful this office is from when you walk in until you see the doctor. It’s a 5 star+ rating all the way! Thanks to all of you!Maria Daviero
Dr Ozzie is terrific! I had 8 top teeth that needed crowns. He is empathetic and really great at what he does. I would not hesitate to refer people to this practice. Great job!! I am so pleased with the end result!
Recently spoke with Diedra In scheduling and would like to say how nice and efficient she is. It is a pleasure to have someone like that to handle your concernsI had my appointment this morning and just wanted to say how nice the Reception and front office people are. Also how pleasant Diedra is to work with. I had Becca who was amazing and had the best cleaning I’ve had in a long time. I usually have Dr Rich who is absolutely the best although today I had Dr Lina who I was very impressed with. All seemed tho be on top of everything. So great job to all and have a nice day.
I usually see Dr Rich who is great, but he was booked when I needed some dental work done so he recommended Dr. Ozzie. I am extremely happy with Dr. Ozzie and his work. My generation totally hates and is afraid of the dentist. Since a kid I have horrible experiences with dentists so I get super anxiety about going to the dentist. They are great here to make sure you are numb and that you are comfortable throughout the dental work. They give you a break if you need it or water and take their time with you. Very gentle and for the first time today I almost felt like I could fall asleep while they were working. That has never happened in my life.Highly recommend Dr. Ozzie and Dr. Rich Salvatore. Writing this review on behalf of George Simmons- I want to start by saying thank you for your exceptional service! I have been going to Dr. Rich for over a year now and he could not have made this a better experience. I am getting a full set of veneers and have had many appointments including a few emergent ones where they were able to get me in straight away and address the problem immediately, even outside of business hours. During a training day when they were closed to the public I had an issue with my temporary set and they still walked me straight in, got me right into the chair and all fixed up in less than 30 minutes! If you are looking for a new dentist don’t look any further I highly highly recommend Dr. Rich Salvatore, He and his staff are top tier when it comes to serving their patients and delivering exceptional results.

The office as a whole listens to my needs as a patient extremely well. When I called with a question, they referred me to Dr. Rich for the answer. Wow, no putting me off to another person, right to my dentist! They went over a plan that would work for my dental needs and my budget! I had an idea about what dental work I needed but Dr. Rich took a more conservative approach, saving money and making sense! I was sick of bouncing around to one bad dentist after another. I read the reviews before I went to Salvatore dental. It is an hour ride from my house It is worth the ride. The facility is state of the art. Every support person I encountered was friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Salvatore took time to explain the way they do dental implants with the latest technology available He is very friendly and easy going and I feel completely confident I will get the best care available
Please beware! Recently moved to the area and selected this place for its location. Have Met Life Plus, best on the market. Was told they were in-network and all preventative care would be covered for our family of 5, as usual. Billed $191 for x-rays and fluoride because they had already been done for the year in a different state, for which full records were provided. Explanation given was dentist didnt think they were clear enough. They opted not to fix/adjust.Payment is due at time of scheduling, in our case, for a crown appointment 3 weeks out. I asked if I could pay on the day of service but prior to treatment in case of emergency, their business closing, illness, etc. Was told no, this is their policy. Paid $850 and scheduled the appointment.Husband was to have medication prescribed prior to crown procedures. Twice showed up to CVS, no script, called doc, went back, no script. No apology, no explanation. This happened two different times 10 days apart, which is almost unbelievable. A big deal to the patient, a lot of wasted time for us, and in the end the script was never called in, either time.Daughter had a very small filling done, tiny by their own description. She had pain for weeks, finally got back in (they made her wait a week) to find out the dentist had left it too high on the bite and her gums were bruised and swollen. Had last dentist for 20 years, and the two times a family member had acute pain, someone met us at the office within 1-2 hours.Theres better options out there, find them!
Dr. Rich and crew, Abbie, Nicole, Kathleen and Amanda ( to name a few) were very accommodating.I had very extensive work over a period of 6 months. Very well done and very professional and yet with a comfy demeanor.Very happy. Highly recommended.Terry
This is the best dentist office I’ve ever visited. They use technology and tools I didn’t know existed to give me the best care with the most comfort. All of the staff are super nice and helpful. I recommend them as much as I can!
Went in for my first dental appointment in over three years. Dr. Ozzie and all the staff were very kind and professional. My cleaning was very quick and painless. Shout outs to the assistant, Nicole, who did my x-rays and impressions, and the secretary, Amanda, who was very understanding when I accidentally confused my medical insurance for dental insurance.
We LOVE Salvatore Dental! Myself along with my husband and 4 kids have all had great experiences. From the moment you walk in you feel welcomed.
Totally deserving of 5 stars. Been with the practice for over 20 years and even though I moved over an hour away, I’m so glad I’ve stayed. Going to the dentist is the least of my favorite things to do (sorry…) but Dr. Lina and Kayleigh were fun to be around and made me feel at ease. Great staff! A few years ago I was laid off and needed a lot of dental work. They fit in multiple appointments before my insurance ran out so that I wouldn’t have to pay out of pocket. They aren’t as convenient for me anymore, but I still go out of my way to keep going there.
After a year of dealing with a 30 year old failing bridge, I decided to replace it with dental implants. My dentist, at that time, said I would not be a candidate. So glad that I didnt listent to him. After researching several dental implant practices, I decided to go to Salvatore Dental. Dr. Rich Salvatore and his staff are wonderful, caring and compassionate. Today, due to Dr. Rich and Dr. Ozzies expertise, I have a beautiful smile. Only wish I had gone to this practice sooner.
I have a bad phobia of needles and Dr. Ozzie was amazing, minimizing my fear of dental work, and making me happier with my smile than I’ve ever been. Great staff here all around! More patience (and humor) than any dentist I’ve been to before
Every time I go to Salvatore Dental I get AMAZING service. The bedside manners of the staff and state of the art facility are both second to none. I have most recently gotten to work with their newest Dr. .. Dr. Ozzie. He is very good, patient, and thorough. I had a crown (Im 43 and this is my first actual dental work since they care for my teeth so well!) and Dr. Ozzie and Katherine took amazing care of me. I refer everyone to them that needs dental work. Ive been a patient for almost 20 years.
The previous dentist I use to see did a root canal that ended up cracking n saying it needed to be pulled wanted a second opinion and dr Ozzie was able to save the tooth and put a crown on it. Everyone over at Salvatore treats you like your family and go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable 100% would recommend to anyone.
Recently had veneers done by Dr. Vera. My experience was wonderful. Her soothing voice helped to relax me immediately. She explained every step. I’m extremely happy with my smile.
Best dentist I ever went to. Doesn’t hurt when getting novocaine injection. Kind and caring. All the staff is so friendly too. Lina Bajwa is awesome. I would highly recommend her for a dentist.
I recently completed treatment for an implant. From start to finish with the team at the desk, clinicians and Dr. Rich, my experience was outstanding!! They are amazing in all stages!
As Tuesday morning approached, I was feeling anxious about my upcoming appointment with Dr. Leni. My old crown needed to be replaced with a new one. As soon as I was in the dental chair, Dr. Leni did an amazing job at making me feel comfortable. She explained what to expect before each procedure, and what she was going to do. The two shots of Novocaine didnt hurt at all. The total procedure went very smoothly. Without hesitation, I would recommend Dr. Leni to anyone that needs dental work done. Dr. Leni really cares about her patients.
I had a crown done at Salvatore Dental and Dr. Ozzie was amazing in his workmanship and Dental Assistant Katie extremely professional. I would highly recommend then to anyone needing dental work.

I lost a crown on Friday night. Tuesday morning I went to the office and thanks to the 3D printer, walked out with a new crown in 2 hours, No pain, comfortable and professional treatment. Recommend to all.

I have been going to Salvatore Dental for the last 14 years. I couldnt ask for better dental care and a most accommodating and friendly office staff. I have always felt comfortable with all the procedures my teeth seem to need, from 6 months cleaning and check ups, fillings, root canals, crowns and implants! Their technology is most impressive, but most of all, I do appreciate the friendly and professional manner of all who work in this office.During my most recent visit, I experienced a completely painless procedure when Dr Ozzie used a gum numbing procedure which was amazing! My excellent dental care at Salvatore Dental continues.

This is probably the best dentist office I have EVER been to. They came highly recommended to me by some coworkers after I had a terrible experience at another clinic in Albany. Salvatores office is clean, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The hygienists are thorough but GENTLE - which is important to me as I have somewhat sensitive teeth and gums and used to always dread my cleanings at previous clinics.As for the doctors, I have only seen Dr Rich - he is the best dentist I have ever dealt with! I came to him after seeing someone else in Albany who told me I needed a root canal that I was worried I would not be able to afford at the time. Dr Rich took x-rays and told me I did NOT need a root canal, it was in fact just a bad cavity (how the other dentist misdiagnosed this, I have no idea, but I will never return there). I have had multiple fillings re-done by Dr Rich, and my mouth is more comfortable than ever, and the appointments have always been quick and efficient and most importantly, painless! He always checks in with me multiple times while doing a procedure to make sure I am comfortable, do not need to take a break, and that I cannot feel any pain. I would never go anywhere else!UPDATE: I have now been a patient here for 5-6 years, and I have seen every doctor at the practice. Everyone is still just as amazing as ever! I never feel any pain, always leave with more confidence, and never have any complaints! I tell everyone about Salvatore Dental and the great care they provide.
Recommended by my boss when I relocated to the Albany area last summer. I’ve always dreaded dentist visits, but the staff across the board is superlative. Allie, my hygienist, is especially personable, professional, and meticulous in her work. The equipment is state of the art and the price is reasonable for the quality of services provided. I have never in my life recommended a dental practice; Salvatore Dental will be the first.
After having a series of bad experiences at other dental offices I was very leery of going to the dentist. Salvatore Dental understood that and took their time to make sure I was comfortable and informed every step of the way. I needed 3 extractions, which typically would result in multiple trips over an extended period of time. Dr. Ozzie was compassionate to my past experiences and made time to take care of me all in one visit. The entire office is state of the art, and staffed with some of the nicest people you’ll meet, I definitely recommend making an appointment as you will be taken care of like you were family.
Had another amazing visit with Allie and the whole Salvatore Dental team! I really enjoy how modern the office is and how updated the music choices are! If you want a boring old dentist office this is not the place for you. Young, hip and very modern! I will continue to recommend patients to your practice!

Our daughters family have been patients at Salvatore Dental for years and highly recommended them to us! We were very impressed with how friendly and knowledgeable everyone that works in the office was and it was obvious they really care about all of their patients! During our initial appointments they thoroughly explained all of the procedures, gave us information to take home with us and gave us a detailed report as to what would be done and what the costs would be. Were looking forward to working with them!
Went to Salvatore Dental on Friday with horrible pain in my tooth. Saw Dr.Ozzie who was absolutely amazing and personable. He told me I needed my wisdom tooth out because it was sitting on a nerve. Made an appointment for that Monday coming up. Which was amazing they would take me in so quickly. I was so nervous when I went in but the nurse and Dr.Ozzie were so wonderful to me it helped me get through. After they numbed my gum it litterly took two seconds to get the tooth out! I couldn’t believe it! Usually the week after your in pain but he did such a wonderful job that I’m not in pain at all! I’m so thankful. I also recommend him to others I know need work on there teeth.I also will never go anywhere else! Thank you so much Dr.Ozzie! Now I’m not so scared to go to the dentist!!

I had the best experience in this office. I can say that I am not an easy patient when it comes to having dental work. Dr.Ozzie and his assistant (I apologize for not remembering her name)made my experience the best experience ever in a dental office before. Their patience, caring, and putting me first over their comfortable, made me comfortable, even though I was not a perfect patient to work on. During a previous appointment I had which included full mouth xrays, I was informed that I had a cracked back tooth which also had a piece of filling missing. I came in to have that repaired and replaced with a new white filling. I would guess it to be a fairly common procedure. Shannon brought me in and was friendly and upbeat. Dr. Ozzie came in and greeted me and had a confidence that made me feel at ease right away. He numbed the area so I would feel no pain. Soon after, he started his work on my tooth, and several times he and Shannon both asked how I was doing. I did fine throughout the procedure. In my past, for something that took other dentists at least 1 - 2 hours to do the same thing, Dr. Ozzie completed everything in approximately 1/2 an hour. It was done with precision, and I have no residual pain or discomfort from the procedure! Thank you so much Salvatore Dental and everyone who works there! Thanks to the office staff as well who greet you with kindness and friendliness when you come in and when you check out. This is a top notch dental practice that I am very pleased with. Next appointment already booked!
Truly a first class operation. I have had several crowns done before and this is the first with Dr. Leena and Kayla. No pain whatsoever and it was simply the best experience Ive ever had getting this type of work done. And they 3D printed my tooth in minutes. This used to weeks! I highly recommend Salvatore dental!
Salvatore dental office is state of the art in equipment and service. Everyone is very friendly and attentive. I’m a bit of a scaredy-cat going to the dentist and Dr Ozzy was very gentle and understanding. He took his time working at my pace of comfort.

If I am to be honest, I have always been nervous about the dentist. I havent gone to anyone in years and even then, I only went if I had an issue. I have decided that it is time to take care of my teeth and found this office. From making my appointment, to having my new patient exam, X-rays, and cleaning, this office has been wonderful! They were very accommodating and acknowledged my fear. I always had severe sensitivity. Becca was my hygienist, she didnt hurt me, didnt rush and honestly took her time with me. My sensitivity was barely an issue and even though at this time they dont accept my insurance, I will continue to use this office for all of my dental care!

I hadn’t been to the dentist for decades. But pain drove me in. Never had a good experience before now.Salvatore Dental has been amazing. The gentlest (but thorough) cleanings. Dr. Ozzie has pulled three teeth and today put a crown on another one. He always makes sure I am comfortable even during the hardest parts.They designed a comprehensive plan for me that fit with my insurance. They have the newest tech and processes. That’s why I chose it. But I have learned they also have the nicest, gentlest people. That’s true for the dentists, assistants, hygienists, and office personnel. I’m so glad to finally have found a good dental experience! I recommend it to everyone!

Ive had Alyssa and Allie as a hygienist, they were both so sweet and they explained everything that they were doing which greatly calmed my nerves and helped with my lack of knowledge about dentistry. The building was very clean and beautiful. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist!
I recently went into Salvatore Dental for a rather lengthy procedure but as the appointment progressed everything changed. I ended up needing two teeth removed and the plan to replace those teeth changed completely. Never once did I worry that everything changed at the last minute. At Salvatore Dental, I have complete confidence they have my best care in mind at all times. I had complete confidence in Dr. Ozzie and his professional care. He took care of all my questions and concerns. I was able to lay back, put in my earbuds and let him fix the problems. I wouldnt trust my teeth to any other dentist practice. They are prepared for anything at any time!

Salvatore Dental is absolutely the team you need if you have dentist anxiety. During a two hour procedure I felt comfortable and safe. The whole staff can support you through a panic attack like a group of seasoned mental health professionals! I’ve struggled with anxiety my whole life and so deeply appreciate their respect and grace. They are kind, professional, and truly care about their patients. I believe Salvatore is the best dental providers in the Capital Region.

When I was looking for a new dentist last year I had heard only positive things about Salvatore Dental and decided to give them a try and I am so glad I did! Since my childhood I have had a few different dentists and this practice is by far the best. I am new to having dental insurance and they explain everything to me in a clear manner and are very patient with me when I ask a lot of questions about coverage and treatment options. Over the last year I have had multiple fillings repaired and two crowns put in and it has been a good experience every time. I like that Dr. Vera and her staff explain to me every thing they do before they do it so I know when to expect a small vibration or a loud drilling noise and I am never caught off guard. They also have a very nice, large, clean office that even has tvs so you can watch movies during your procedures which helps me to relax. I would highly recommend Salvatore Dental!
I’ve unwisely avoided the dentist for a few years, after a negative experience at a chain dentist in the area and another negative experience at a small, local, private practice, too.In addition, my now 6 year old had a total meltdown at the family dentist I last took her to about 3 years ago, and we were all way overdue for an exam and cleaning even before the world paused last year.It was time to go back. After reading reviews online and in local groups on Facebook, I selected Salvatore Dental and my daughter and I went today.IT WAS INCREDIBLE! I had zero expectations, I was just hoping for a neutral experience at best, and my wildest dreams were exceeded at every turn.The hygienist, Allie, called and left me a kind voice message last night to introduce herself, and today she was beyond phenomenal. She was absolutely amazing with my daughter, and now my daughter wants to go back on a regular basis! And so do I! Everyone I encountered, from the initial phone call a few weeks ago, to checking in today, to having my teeth cleaned and looked at, was kind and caring and helpful.I was halfway through my cleaning and texting my entire family, trying to get them to jump ship and come to Salvatore Dental for the most enjoyable both dental/healthcare experience, and also just for a pleasant appointment!Maybe being stuck in my house for over a year has warped my brain, and I’m sure it has, but I’m also sure that this team is a group of talented, dedicated folks who have my best interests in mind.And I think all of this after having 3 wee cavities discovered and putting those not-surprising surprises on my Visa! I have pretty bad anxiety when it comes to the dentist. Ive had some bad experiences in the past, and due to this I hadnt been to anyone for dentistry in over 5 years. Salvatore dental saved my teeth. Theyre all very nice and work very hard to make you feel comfortable. They have the top of the line technology. You can even watch movies while in the chair. Feeling comfortable and distracted helped my anxiety lesson with each visit. Im working on an implant and Ive had all of my cavities filled along with all of my old silver fillings replaced. Dr. Ozzie and Nicole worked on the fillings in four different appointments. They were wonderful and so nice to work with. Thanks to Salvatore Dental Im finally on my way to good dental health.

I have been a patient at Salvatore Dental for many years both in Malta and Schenectady. Cleaning, periodontal maintenance, fillings and one crown have been professionally done. All questions I have asked regarding procedures have been answered to my complete satisfaction and beyond.When entering the office I feel at ease and confident. Short waiting time. I went for my cleaning today and met Alyssa, my hygienist, for the first time! Alyssa is fabulous, very thorough and gentle! Just had my first visit to Salvatore Dental and I gotta say, I was extremely happy with my experience. Once I got checked in, I waited maybe 5 minutes before I was brought into the room. The rooms are really nice and bright, super clean, chairs are super comfortable, and they even have a TV mounted from the ceiling so you have something to stare at. Alyssa did an amazing job doing a full mouth X-Ray and cleaning my teeth. Afterwords, Dr. Vera came in and checked everything over. The receptionist, Alyssa, and Dr. Vera were all very friendly and welcoming to this newcomer. I would not hesitate to recommend this practice to anyone looking for a new dentist in this area. Like a lot of people, I never liked going to the dentist, but after going to Salvatore, I definitely wont mind returning for my next cleaning.

I participated in their Invisalign program and was very pleased with the results.They are always very professional but also easy going. Dr. Ozzie is great! He explained everything to me in detail and gladly repeated things for me when I had questions. I had more than one procedure and he called me personally each time afterwards to check on me. The office is clean with state of the art equipment. Staff is also great!! I have come to Salvador Dental three times as of now. I came in for a cleaning and then follow up appointments as I had a few small cavities.Summary:I would highly recommend Salvador Dental. They give you a copy of the plan of any work that needs to be done, give you details about the procedures, and ensure the quality of work and service is high. They have a wonderful staff with a great building. They do make you pay for the procedures before scheduling them, if that is key to anybody.Long message of what it’s like:When you walk in, the place is really roomy with a lot of pictures, a lot of sunlight from the glass windows, and a few TVs that have a really nice PowerPoint of common dental topics and questions that it answers. They have chairs marked for spacing out the patients.When you come in for the first time, after talking with the receptionists, there are tablets to fill out the information. Be sure to have everything ready including insurance information and such. It also asks questions like last time one went to the dentists and if there were X-rays done. There are wipes and such for the tablets. The receptionists always make you fill out a COVID survey, it’s not long and not much of a bother. They generally have music playing in the background.When they called me back they walked me to the room and you take your mask off. It’s beautiful in there. Same atmosphere as lobby but smaller and a big chair. The doctor and the assistants are always more than nice. They walk you through the game plan and take pictures along the way to show before and after. I could always get a feel for their personalities as they talk with me or do their work. You can ask them any questions, as I’ve asked them many.I’ve seen two different doctors during my visits one during the cleaning and one for the cavity removal. Both friendly and knowledgeable enough to explain it to me and have me understand.Overall everyone cares about the well-being of the patient as well as the teeth.Would recommend them highly!
THE BEST! I was so nervous about the dental implant process and Dr. Rich and all of the staff at Salvatore Dental went above and beyond to make the process very comfortable. The only place I’d ever go. I love my new tooth 😍
Just started coming to Salvatore Dental per a recommendation from my neighbor. Both my husband and my daughter have also become patients. The staff and experience have been great! My hygienist was fabulous! Also had to have several teeth fillings refurbished and crown replaced that had worn over the past 20 years. They made the crown while I was at my appointment and popped it right in! Dr. Ozzie and Nicole, his assistant, were wonderful and made a potential traumatic experience easy and painfree! Would recommend to all!!
I was pretty confident based on the online reviews I had seen before going in as a new patient. But I had no doubts about as soon as I entered the building. They were welcoming, extremely professional, very courteous and made me feel so comfortable. I am new to their practice but so thrilled I have found them. I am looking forward to continued visits. Being someone who has anxiety visiting the dentist I put off a visit for far too long and Im hoping that I can help others overcome their anxiety with this review so they dont wait as long as I did. Dr. Rich, Kathleen, Beth & and the front office staff (Angels of mercy and politeness) have changed my mind regarding the process and routine of dentistry. Always have the best experience whenever I go to Salvatore Dental. Everyone is extremely friendly and talkative which really makes a difference. I personally don’t care for going to the dentist normally but they make me want to go because it’s always a great experience. Allie was my hygienist and she did an amazing job! Dr. Vera has been doing my teeth for as long as I can remember and she is always so nice, I have never had a bad visit and I never plan on changing where I go! I would definitely recommend here to go. I highly recommend Salvatore Dental because of the atmosphere and there hospitality!
I can’t recommend Salvatore dental enough. I first came here 2 or 3 years ago. It was a long process to fix some underlying issues and then to perfect my smile. Drs. Rich and Vera as well as everyone on their staff were patient and understanding throughout all of it. I happily make the trip from Albany to Malta to see them because it’s always a pleasant experience, even if the cause for the visit isn’t.After catching a baseball with my mouth many years ago, I’ve had a couple different dentists in the area and have had a nightmare experience of root canals and crowns on my front teeth and they never looked right. Looking back at photos I can’t believe how dark or misshapen they were. Now, it’s surreal when people comment how nice my smile is. The transformation has been unbelievable.As far as my dental health and cosmetic needs go, I know I’m in good hands at Salvatore Dental. All of their equipment seems new and you can tell that they keep up with evolving technology and latest innovations to provide high quality care. The dentist has always been a place I avoided. I viewed it as scary, uncomfortable and unpredictable. I have been a patient at Salvatore Dental since 1975. They have always been wonderful and keep on top of advancements in dentistry. I met Becca for the first time for a cleaning. What a great hygienist and great young lady she is. Her care and concern for her patients is refreshing. I would recommend her highly. My teeth were so clean I smiled all day!
I had such a great experience at Salvatore Dental and I typically hate going to the dentist. After fracturing my jaw, I had become a frequent flyer at the dentist and dreaded every visit UNTIL I switched dental practices to Salvatore Dental. My hygienist was super gentle and understanding of my anxiety when it comes to dental appointments. The girls at the front desk were super friendly and nice and Doctor Ozzie was amazing. I felt very calm and safe at this practice.
I had a field hockey accident six years ago in which my four front teeth were knocked out. Because the trauma from this incident, one of these teeth had deteriorated and eventually cracked and became loose. I was very nervous about the long-term cosmetic and hygienic consequences of cracking my front tooth. Dr. Rich was great at assessing the (fairly complicated!) situation and addressed all my concerns. After a few appointments, I was left with a smile that was even better than the one I had pre-accident. I’m so happy with Salvatore Dental and would highly recommend them to anyone who has experienced dental difficulties like me!
Dr. Vera & Dr. Rich are both simply amazing!!! I have had some very horrible experiences with dentists in the past so I get extremely anxious anytime I have to have any procedure performed! They were understanding about my hesitancy and walked me through each and every step. They explained things in a way I could understand and felt like I was a part of the entire process! During my procedure to get two crowns created and put in, I was able to watch a movie with headphones on to help me focus on something else. The best part was they were able to create the crowns in their office lab and put them in during the same appointment!!! I HIGHLY recommend their office for any dental needs!!

We are too far to commute to our old, trusted doctors, dentists, lawyers, etc. We faced the daunting task of researching, and experimenting with new professionals to find the perfect fit.Like most retirees, we share our likes and dislikes about the practitioners we frequent. The biggest issues with dentists are: using my lip for leverage; jamming the suction into tender areas in the throat, forcibly pushing the floss into my gums rather than “sawing it” past the tight spots, and stretching seasonally dry lips to the cracking point. Does this sound petty? Sure is, but I’m guessing retirees aren’t alone here.In my years of experiences with a variety of dental and other medical practitioners, I have never experienced anyone with the level of awareness demonstrated by Dr Vera Salvatore. She operates every instrument required as if refinishing a delicate and valuable heirloom. The level of gentleness, caution, and care delivered is beyond any expectation.Beyond her awareness of my comfort, she satiates my inquisitive mind by fully explaining her procedures, and pays incredible attention to precision in her finished product.I have never felt rushed through, never felt unheard, and have always felt as welcomed as an old friend; each as important as the precision and comfort of the expert finished product they provide.The bottom line is that if you have ever harbored fear of the dentist experience, or are new to the area and dread the long search for care with competence, look no farther; you have found your dental family at Salvatore Dental.

If I could give 100 stars I could. I struggled with dental issues my whole life. I’ve seen more dentists than I can count and was never fully satisfied. While my teeth looked great aesthetically, they lacked stability. As I aged I noticed changes that needed attention quickly which resulted in implants. Dr Rich and his team could not have done a better job from the consultation to the very last day of reveal day. The office is stunning. The equipment is top notch. The staff are all polite and patient. The bedside manner is unmatched. During each procedure there were multiple check ins on how I’m doing, how I’m feeling, making sure I’m comfortable. They even wiped my tears away! Dr. Rich communicated and educated me every step of the way. He’s the nicest person on the planet. Hes compassionate and attentive even at your most vulnerable state. I really can’t say better things and I’m forever grateful for everything they’ve done for me and giving my confidence back. Again.. 100 stars. You won’t regret your decision.
I was planning to switch to Salvatore dental once Covid ended as they are closer to my home and came highly recommended from family members that go there. I ended up having a dental emergency, the dentist I was using was not open for emergency appointments. I took a chance and gave them a call. They were able to get me right in. The office Beautiful. They are Certainly taking all measures to ensure safety during this time. Dr. Rich has been amazing. Every staff member I’ve come in contact with has been super friendly. Very excited to be a new patient here and thankful for all of their help so far! Highly recommend!
I just finished my Invisalign treatment at Salvatore Dental and my experience was exceptional. The whole process from start to finish was great. The doctors and staff are very kind and professional. My first appointment for a checkup and cleaning was great. They hygienist, Allie was very professional and did a great job cleaning and explaining the process. Dr Rich came in for a check and was very honest and made a suggestion for some sensitivity that was totally covered by insurance, always a good thing. I fortunately live close to their office, but wouldnt hesitate to drive from Albany, or further, to see them...theyre that good. I would give them 6 stars, if I could.

I am always impressed with the quality of the work provided by all of the dentists/hygienists and can’t say enough how personable and kind everyone in this office is. Typically I see Dr. Vera but saw their newest doctor, Dr. Ozzie today and he was wonderful. My experiences have always been efficient and pain free. These guys make going to the dentist something I actually look forward to.

Incredible experience. State of the art technology(iPad to check in/ input information), friendly & competent receptionists, incredibly clean, updated & new facility. They also apply chap stick on before cleaning! The hygienist was thorough and continued to build value every step of the way. The doctor/dentist was very knowledgeable and friendly as well. The doctors have always been so kind and accommodating, I really feel like a part of the family when I have a visit. With their new office they have also made great technological changes with email and text reminders so I know exactly when my next appointment is. The new dental technology they have invested in also provides me with a level of care that is unrivaled when compared to other dentists. Finally got my quarantine teeth cleaned today!! I HATE going to the dentist but love the wonderful staff at Salvatore Dental. I had Allie today and she was fantastic. Very pleased with my experiences at Salvatore Dental after three visits. Having not gone to visit a dentist in over 8 years, I was fearing the worst. Upon arrival, I was pleased with the timeliness and attention to detail with the first examination and x-rays. The amount invested in their new office and technology is very evident! My dental hygienist Becca was very thorough with my first cleaning, and Dr. Rich Sr repaired two old fillings with precision. 6 months later had another great cleaning by Becca and looking forward to maintaining a great smile and healthy teeth for years to come. Couldnt ask for a better 5 Star dentist office!
I just want to start out by saying Dr. Rich has changed my life. I have had nothing but terrifying experiences with every dentist I have ever been too. The last oral surgeon I went to did a horrendous job on my mouth. Dr. Rich went above and beyond for me, he not only fixed what was wrong but made me a smile I havent had in years. When I had a problem he fixed it right away. It has been a long road, but it was so worth it.
The staff at Salvatore Dental were simply amazing. Provided excellent customer service. Chatting with the friendly staff as I waited to go into the room made the wait go by fast. The hygienist was chipper and very gentle. Made a pleasant experience. Just when I thought it could not get any better, Dr. Rich provided a thorough exam and was very friendly as he offered a personal plan to suite my dental needs. I was impressed to learn about the extended staff training and upbeat atmosphere that the family provides for thier staff and clients. Did I mention I had an awful toothache during this and it was still a very pleasant experience?!! Highly recommend them!!
I was new to upstate NY and just moved here in July 2019. A friend of mine suggested Salvatore dental to me, and I have been nothing short of happy with the doctors and staff at Salvatore. They have been extremely helpful, friendly and good at their job to help me with diagnosis and treatment for my teeth.I would recommend Salvatore to anyone who is looking for a new dental service. Great experience! Office is beautiful, high-tech dental equipment, super friendly staff, & 2 TV screens in each room makes for excellent distraction during procedures. Dr. Vera explained my tooth problems with pictures & xrays & she was very gentle & informative during my 2-hr procedure. Highly recommend!

I had always had bad experiences when it came to dentist . But after coming here to Salvatore I must say they changed my mind. Dr Ozzie has been so wonderful to me .he listened to my concerns and reassured me they were valid too. He also made sure I left happy 😊 I would def recommend this place.

I hadn’t visited a dentist in over 15 years and was very nervous about my first visit. My wife has been coming here and she recommended this place. As soon as I entered I felt very welcomed by the cheerful front desk ladies. I met with a hygienist first who was very nice. (sorry I’ll update her name since I forgot) She patiently took all my x-rays and laid out a plan for my treatment. Dr. Vera stopped by and helped me understand the treatment plan and addressed all my questions. She was very nice and showed genuine concern.I went for a couple sittings after that and met with hygienist Becca who helped very patiently with my treatment and it was a lot of work. She helped restore my gums and teeth back to good health and regularly follows up via email to see if I am brushing twice a day and flossing. Thank you Becca!Overall I had a great experience and would give 5 more stars if there was an option.

If you’re someone who puts off making an appointment to go see a dentist because of the overwhelming anxiety it brings, you need to go here. My husband has been coming for years, and I finally made an appointment after my front tooth chipped on a Toblerone. You can tell the support staff actually care about the practice and look forward to going to work every day. Dr. Vera and the dental hygienists took such good care of me, explained everything they were doing and even showed me before and after photos. My tooth looks better than before it was even chipped. I had a few fillings that also needed to be replaced and was able to get all of it done in one shot. I had no idea a trip to the dentist could be a soothing experience, but I’m excited now for my next cleaning!
Truly Amazing!!! Salvatore Dental is hands down the BEST experience I’ve EVER had at a dentist. I’ve had a lot of bad experiences with many dentists over the years and Salvatore made up for all of them! Every person I interacted with was kind, friendly and understanding. They explained how everything would happen and kept me updated on the progress during my cavity fillings. They had head phones and a movie screen on the ceiling to distract me during the procedure. Halfway into it I forgot they were even drilling while I was watching Top Gun. I informed them Novacaine has never worked 100% for me and that I always felt pain. The doctor told me he knew what do and what nerves to numb. I felt ZERO pain on both cavities they filled. So thankful for everyone working there. Thank you for being on the front line to help everyone of us! You are the best!
I struggled through 3 dentist offices and ended up so discouraged I gave up. After a couple years I had an issue I needed to get taken care of. After the very greatfull recommendation from a friend I scheduled with Salvatore. I was Nervous from my previous experiences, and the fact it had been so long. I have to say it has been a year almost two and I have not one complaint as of yet. They made me feel welcome, no negativity from not going to anyone for so long and everyone is so nice! I was Nervous I would be taken advantage of for years of my neglect in not seeing a dentist. Thankfully I was Nervous over nothing! They did only what was necessary, gave me options of what should/ could be done, which after the amount of time away from dentists I surprisingly didnt need only very very minimal work. Most of that minimal work was to properly repair my previous work. It was done properly this time and have had nothing but the need for cleanings since.Thank you Salvatore Dental for finally making my dental experience awesome and my last dental search. Dr. Vera is absolutely amazing. Not only is she a perfectionist at her job but is also very kind. The office is so clean and modern. I love it here! Her assistant, Kathleen is so sweet and personable! They make a great team. My two new front teeth look and feel perfect. It was worth every penny!
Always a great experience! Had a tooth issue a couple years back. Other dentist gave me poor recommendation so came to Salvatore for a second opinion. Very impressed,Rich took a 3D image and showed clearly what was going on and options! They did extraction and implant all in house. No issues since!

Dr. Rich and his entire staff have been patient having me as their patient. After my dentist and a second opinion both telling me I had to pull ALL my teeth, Dr. Rich was my answer. He was the first to give me options and allow me to save as many teeth as possible. I now have teeth that feel like my real teeth, and I have some of my real teeth. I can smile again, chew food comfortably, and can actually bite an apple. My new implants have given me back my self esteem . Thanks Dr. Rich and the entire team!

Not only, are front desk people super friendly an helpful, they have the best staff, and probably best building for dentistry Ive personally seen. I’ve had both Dr. Rich ( awesome dude ) and then today His wife Dr. Vera( extremely extremely nice) who pushed off her lunch break in order to put my crown in to get me out of pain. Needless to say this staff is unlike any I have seen, so compassionate and caring and you see all the dental assistants and helpers all working together to see it all function as one is really special. Lastly how do we possibly forget that we get to walk out the back door after our next appointments are Booked, that’s pretty cool if you ask me but maybe it’s just me. regardless this place is absolutely awesome, the building is stunning, and lastly the quality of work, and compassion everyone there has is infectious. Dr. Ozzie replaced two old crowns that had to have re-root canals prior to my appointments. The procedures were painless, professional & I was completely at ease. The end results are beautiful. I am amazed with how dental technology has evolved. I highly recommend Dr. Ozzie.

Ive been a patient at Salvatore Dental for 1 year, and my experience has been great! Their old office was nice, but the new office on Dunning St. is exceptional.Thus far, Salvatore Dental has helped me with an extraction (old silver filling stressed a molar, and the tooth cracked at the roots,) a dental implant, and Ive had 3 cleanings.My recent cleaning was with Taylor, and she was terrific! Thorough, gentle, and sociable :)Ive been to several other dental practices, and had my fair-share of work done, and these guys are the best around.

Dr. Rich Is very professional , his work speaks for itself! I just had two implants done and they were basically painless ! Two weeks later and It doesn’t feel like I had any surgery in my mouth, no pain or discomfort ! I can’t wait to get my final caps once it’s fully healed but the temporary’a look amazing as well ! UPDATE: The day after I wrote this review I got a call from the Salvatore office and it was Vera Salvatore herself saying that she saw my review and was upset that they did not provide exceptional service. She spent time in her busy day to listen to my concerns and went above and beyond to finish my appointment on a day they were closed. I went into the office with no problems and they did great for my cleaning.I have to tell you, I have never experienced customer service like this in my life. They went completely above and beyond and I am extremely appreciative. Thank you so much and this deserves my original 3 star review to be upgraded to a 10 star. Thank you so much Vera!OLD: This is a complaint of the front desk and operations. The work Vera and Rich do is 5 stars and fantastic, no complaints there but I must review the business as a whole. I was late to my cleaning appointment, which is my fault due to a work issue. They called to make sure I was coming in and I said yes. I get it in and fill out this iPad form which took an additional 5-6 minutes and then get into the chair where I am told they cannot do my cleaning today. When I took over an hour off of work, which I was late for something outside of my control and they couldn’t have at least told me when they called to check in on me or when I got there? Now I have to make another appointment and take another hour off of work. The principal is they should be open with their clients about expectations and what can be done when someone is late. Because let’s face it I am not the only one to be late.

Ive been coming here since just after they opened their new (current) office. They are friendly and professional. I have just had a scheduled cleaning during COVID-19 time, and they were taking all necessary precautions, putting me at ease. Im not going for implants or cosmetics or anything, just general dentistry.As far as dental technology goes, theyre not the highest, but theyre pretty close. They have a mini camera for looking at cavities, they have a TV for showing patients what they are talking about right in the exam chair, they have crown milling on site (no more getting molds / temporary crowns / coming back a month later for the real thing). Just about the only thing thats not quite state of the art is they still use x-ray films instead of digital, and I dont think that impacts patients.Ive seen a few different hygenists, and theyve all been very friendly and efficient. For fillings / one crown, Ive seen Dr. Vera. Ive had a lot of work done over the years, and most doctors will just treat you like your mouth is a car and theyre mechanics. Dr. Vera treated me like a person, she explained what she was going to do, then when she was working, she explained each step. I dont know why, but hearing her calmly tell me what she was doing felt very reassuring.

He treats his staff and patients with kindness. His work is excellent and state of the art, but most of all, he treats patients with great respect! 2022-05-27My wife needed replacement dentures and after checking around we decided to go with Salvatore Dental. From our very first to the last visit our experience was exceptional. Dr Rich was professional yet warm and welcoming. He took his time answered all our questions and was very compassionate. All the staff we came in contact with were excellent. They were kind, considerate and caring. Everyone went out of their way to make my wife as comfortable as she could be due to her many health problems. The dentures fit perfect the first time and by the way they saved us a lot of money compared to the other dental offices we talked to.

2022-01-20I could not speak more highly about this practice. All four doctors are amazing clinicians, passionate, and caring. You can tell how much they genuinely care about their patients lives and health. The staff is always friendly, from the hygienists to the assistants to the receptionists and schedulers. Not only have they perfected the balance between preventative and conservative care, they are amazing when it comes to cosmetics! Now I happy and proud of my oral hygiene AND I am thrilled about the look of my smile! The office itself is modern, clean, and very high tech. It is also fun to hear the staff singing along to the music in the hallway while you sit in the room--you can tell everyone is having a great time every day at work!

The procedure was quick and simple and I was on my way in no time. If you are looking for a new dentist and or hygienist this is the place to go. Sandi did my cleaning and she was very personable and caring, my teeth couldn’t have felt more clean anywhere else. The staff as a whole is fun loving, upbeat, and inviting. The doctors went above and beyond by contacting me the night before my appointment to check-in and discuss any concerns I had. The x-rays and cleaning process was thorough yet quick and painless. 2022-03-04I was in need of having implants rather than dentures and I extensively researched all the local dentist and even reached out to a 50 mile radius. I found a few that fit the criteria I needed but nobody responded to my voicemails or emails except for Salvatore Dental. After reading great reviews about Dr. Rich and Salvatore Dental, I reached out to them and received an immediate response and was scheduled within a week of contacting them. I stopped in for a consultation and was immediately put at ease with the fantastic staff and the ambience of the office. While in my consultation it was very comfortable he was very detailed and his explanation of what was going on and what he could do to fix it Was very easy for me to understand. He answered every question in depth and I was very comfortable with his recommendation. Due to the extensive work required I was offered several payment options to choose from to fit my budget.Moving forward the surgery for the dental implants was nearly painless and extremely quick (3 hours)for what you would expect, the work was awesome and I walked out with a great smile that very same day. As I move forward with the final procedure I am very comfortable in knowing that I have an awesome professional dentist who really does care about me taking care of me. He does everything in house himself to meet his high-quality expectations that you can’t find anywhere’s else.I recommend them to everybody I can whenever the opportunity arises.
