Clean club with great amount of stock to pick from. Paper products are available here. I grabbed the last roast chicken from the case. The flowers were in good shape. I purchased some mini carnations.Wish they had people checking you out. I dislike having to check myself out. I dont find it quicker at all. If I have the machine throw a code,. Its chasing the clerk, (who is busily working the entire front herself ) wait for her to come to me to read the screen and correct the problem.I had to get help with the register. This time it wanted to know if I wanted to redeem my bonus back bucks. The staff helped me. Need more people to work the register.I still dont find checking myself out quicker at All!
Bulk shopping at Sams this weekend.Making purchases at 9:00 in the morning was really nice. Sams is always clean.Also, there is enough lighting there,for people like me,who read labels.Therefore, all items are viewable,which is important,so you can see what youre buying.Also, there is some transition going on there,making it all the more convenient for shoppers. Shopping carts were readily available,as were club staff,if I needed assistance. This makes it easy,and comfortable for customers. Im not sure about everyone else,but ease and comfort are two essential components that I need to adequately shop at any time.
This store should work on having better produce. I understand the availability of foods are coming at a discounted price but people are paying for that discounted price for one. Two, just human rights means people deserve food that is not rotten.Just food for thought.
Rudest store to members ive ever seenWouldnt help at all and refused to give me contact to a manager. She then said managers are in a meeting they are short staffed. Not my problem all the behind the scene stuff and as a customer i dont want to be dragged in it. She talked like a robot and wouldnt listen to anything at all. No care or personality as a person answering customer calls.And when asked the store associate her name she said her name is “store associate” and she does not have to give it as its a violation to HER privacy. When as a customer i have been violated by not being helped when i was coming from very far and simply needed to make sure the item is physically there because the system is never accurate!Unacceptable customer service. Terrible!
I want to buy tires,Ethan location won’t let you add toCart or make appt in the sams app. I called and asked if the tire/battery was reopened from covid or not available still and customer service said I’m not sure let me put you on hold, 20 minutes later and I was still on hold and gave up.
Cheap, low-quality, bulk stuff. Expensive membership. After checkout, you have to stand in line to leave, while they scan everyones receipt, and rescan all the items in everyones carts. Im really not sure what the purpose off this is, but I wonder if it speaks to the mentality of their typical customers, as if they think people are trying to steal enormous packages of 240 rolls of toilet paper, or 5 gallon tubs7 of Crisco.
I usually shop and checkout via the online app. The staff were not too friendly or helpful. When I asked for help looking for a product, the employee pointed to a woman out of uniform who seemed to be a regular customer for her to help me. Other staff were laughing and yelling throughout the isles. Staff are usually very professional and helpful this location however this was not the case today.
Over the last year the place has really gone downhill. How almost everything has moved, variety is reduced, and finding anything is near impossible thanks to a lack of signage. That said the pharmacy is why we still go here. The staff and pharmacists are awesome.Sadly its no longer enough to save the place. Best advice, wait for Costco.
One of the worst experiences ever had in 30 plus years with auto services at Sam’s Club auto services. I realize sam’s club doesn’t have a full scale auto services except buying tires and change of tires which exactly what I went for. I checked sam’s website and found they had good prices on Michelin tires and bought a sam’s club membership and ordered 4 Michelin tires, set up an appointment to have the tires replaced—a job that normally take any decent auto services garage an hour to get the job done. I went in a half hour earlier before the appointment-10:00am. After an hour, they called me to tell me that they changed the 2 rear tires but couldn’t take one of the front tires off and asked if l wanted to take the risk of breaking 2 bolts if they had to use the more powerful tool to take them off. I never imagined a garage would even ask a customer to take take kind of risk. So I replied that they used caution and it break the bolts. So, after an hour or so, they called me again to inform me that they couldn’t take the bolts off to change the tires for me. They did gave me a refund for the the work they weren’t able to finish but I took the tires to another garage that got the tires replaced plus oil change within an hour. Looks like Sam’s club needs either appropriate tools or skilled mechanics for the work they advertised for.I will never go back there and don’t trust what they say they can do.
I dont understand why as a member I dont automatically receive the best prices available. Turns out I have to spend an additional 45 dollars on top of the regular membership fees to get the best prices. Why dont they charge that upgraded price in the first place? Honestly, the current prices are not that great anyway.
There needs to be a better way to let customers know where the DEBIT ONLY terminals are. I was in line for about 10 minutes, then when I looked at the terminal it said debit only, I dont do debit transactions. I had to go to another terminal to check out. Thanks for your anticipated action to rectify this issue
So after careful consideration.... I finally purchased a Sams club card thru Groupon got a good deal for $25/a year..... first off it’s an online transaction and you gotta go toCustomer service to get your card. But it’s def worth it! Idk if I wud pay Reg cost of $45 but if u purchase from Groupon it’s a pretty good deal! Used it several times soFar and I am very satisfied!!!!P.S. Did I mention the rotisserie chicken byitself is worth the trip!!! Excellent for afamily meal at under $5 and very tastyI might add!!!!BON APPETIT!!!
Last month I placed two online orders for pickup. First problem you cant pick up the order the same day, second problem when you go there your order is not ready and because theyre too busy and short-handed it takes another half hour to hour to complete your order. I will not place pick up orders anymore. Youre better off go to the store and get it yourself it will be quicker and accurate. if you need customer service on a weekend you can forget about it, one person or two some time servicing many customers, be prepared to wait for a while.
Most stuff sold in bulk. Cuts down on the number of trips to the supermarket. My only issue is the annual fee to stay a member.Update: bought 4.5 pounds of Chuck stew beef. The meat at the surface of the pack looked pretty good until I dug down into it. Needles to say it was virtually all fat. Absolutely disgusting way to rip a customer off. Using my kitchen scale, I was able to determine that I actually had 2.1 lbs of meat. The rest was fast. Great way to rip a customer off while the economy is doing so poorly.
Not happy with Sams club, placed an order on Saturday for meats and they did not update that the meats that I ordered would not be filled. Drove an hour to do a pick up of only half my order. The last email that was sent said that order was delivered on the 15th pick up scheduled for the 18th. I understand supply and demand but the least they could have done was let me know that the whole order would not be filled.
Good deals but the people there not so good.The staff was very unprofessional and seemed to know very little. We asked where to find things and they kept sending us over to someone else who would do the same thing.While in line the staff working as cashier were having personal conversations and swearing frequently.The store is clean and well kept though.
Prices of the bulk items did not impress me. I thought it would have been much similar to Walmart greater value and it simply was more expensive then I thought it would be. On a positive note it was very clean and they had a very large selection of everything. Some things were decently priced but overall I thought, even though you are paying a bulk price, that the prices were still a bit to high.
We enjoy shopping here. Early is the best time before it gets crowded. With the new scan and go registers the lines with cashiers were backed up still because they only have a couple registers with cashiers. I myself only go through where cashiers are, because Im not going to help that away job positions that the scan and go are doing. Besides when you do the scan and go your doing their job and its not costing them for a cashier and your not getting rewarded for it, so they just pull in more money by you doing it yourself and not havi g to pay a cashier to do it.
So I bought a cell phone from sams club on the their one day sale , It was November 9th I was promised a 300 dollar gift card for for each purchase of a new phone line, I received one email gift card for 100 dollars , i called the number and asked where the rest of it was and they told me they would send in 7 to 10 business days i never received anything these people are liars and Im very disappointed , I wont be spending anymore money there and i will be sure to tell all my friends how they like to promise people things and then never deliver just to get sales. Never in my life have I shopped at a place and been told one thing and its something else. Im thoroughly disgusted.
Their selection is decent but some things get changed out frequently so what you fine one week maynot be there the next. They also seem to rearrange the shelves a lot.Theyve added a lot of self checkout stations which are nice enough but it makes lines long for those who are not comfortable doing it themsleves.
All the years of membership, I have never been disappointed until recently. No matter how high my cart has ever been the person checking the receipt barely even glances at my cart. Yesterday for the second time, I went in with my African American boyfriend and the person counted every item in my cart. I’m absolutely appalled. Don’t think I will be continuing my membership.
I registered Just Energy as my electric provider two months ago. normally I don’t answer salesmen, but in Sam’s club I did. I don’t trust them, but I trust Sam’s club. However it was disappointed. The Just Energy told me the bill won’t higher than national grid, and also recommended me sign in their green energy plan for cheaper. OK! I did it!When I received the bill, I understand what is Fraud, Fraud, and FRAUD! They charged me 0.0939$/ KWh. The national grid was0.055$. they give me suggestion is remove green energy plan then my cost will be 0.0689$.You understand how then make money. I have to wait another 2 months to cancel it. They can make 150$ for these 3 months ( I use 1300kwh per month)Be careful, Sam’s club also can offer some junks for their members
Customers service is very short staffed and the team leaders dont care one bit. The one team leader with blond hair just walked around with her head down and ignored questions and failed to help 4 people that were in need of help and left customers service short staffed for 1 person to help 10 customers to that one girl. The girl at customer service was very good though and very helpful was there 3/2/19 just before 7pm
They are currently sanitizing carts for your initial use. When you check out they force you to take the shoppers cart that checked out prior to you. They do not sanitize it or have wipes available at check out . I expressed my concern and wouldn’t let me keep my cart.
Sams Club has been my wholesale club for over a decade. I find the membership worth it. You do have to still shop comparatively, but there are plenty of value shopping there. The absolute WORST customer service. Nothing but problems with this store and they do not care about the customer.Returned to my car one day after shopping to find 2 huge dents in my car door. Immediately spoke with their asset protection manager who pulled up video feed of a loose shopping cart rocketing at my car and then after it bounces off my car it goes flying into another customers car who certainly was not contacted even though they were clearly aware of what happened. I filed a claim with them and they would not cover it even though there is no signage stating they are not responsible for damage. Wouldnt even offer me anything, store credit, discounted membership, nothing. Took the case to small claims court and even with the video the judge would not find it in my favor because he said there was no proof they were aware of the cart. Well obviously the cart is not going to call in and tell them its loose in the lot, if they were properly staffed with cart attendants who did their job instead of just standing around on the side of the building it certainly could of been prevented. I am now out almost $1300 to fix the damage. I have been a loyal member since 2008 and this is how they treat their paying members.Not even the only problem I have had, the staff is useless, came in looking for an item I found online which was in stock, no one could find it. Went home and ordered it the next day online for same day pick up in store and it somehow magically appeared because they had it held for me. Wasted my time and another trip to the store.What a failure of a business, charge you for a member ship and then treat you like crap.
Sams is held in high regard in our household, though Im sure we(I) go far too often. Ordinarily there are great deals on both things needed as well as on things NOT needed....Coffee, milk, eggs, nuts and dozens of other items are must-haves for us. I have grown attached to the avocados, making guacamole nearly once a week. However, today there were none. No sign, no empty bins. Not a trace. One employee had no answer and Im hoping its a reset or the truck wasnt in yet....Also underrated is the smoked salmon and meat.....Please have fewer deals,-so that I stop going and stay out of trouble....
My family and I love shopping at Sams Club, we have for years. Unfortunately like every employer comes bad employees. Her name is Nicole and she has to be the most belligerent ,disrespectful ,uncaring, humiliating person I’ve encountered . Go away with the rotten apples Sams! There’s always grateful people that would happily for fill ones shoes.
I cannot believe the utter disrespect for safety that is that store. Everyone at member services is not wearing their mask right. Either around their neck or under their nose. When i asked the guy to wear it right because i stepped up to the counter to get my temp card for ahopping he said something like he cant breathe right. Im sorry, but when I ask you directly and you STILL come up with an excuse, Im done. I said I was calling the health department, but first everyone needs to know this. Not just the health dept. Fact is, if its one person or if they dont KNOW they are not doing something right, but after I say something and the follow up excuse comes and there FOURA other people following suit-theres a bigger issue here folks. Avoid this haphazard place if you can.
Customer service is HORRIBLE!!! After being demanded by Paul for my DL because he does not know how to look up customer info, he went on to accuse us of swapping the tires. We were then told by Paul that they did not have any in stock but when I called in, they told me that they had 5 in stock. Diego (the supervisor) came in and assisted us by waving the cost of the installation which is $15. Keep in mind that we paid over $400 for 4 tires that did not exceed 5K miles and still we walked out paying $200 for new tires.Once I got home, I decided to call BFGOODrich to find out more about the warranty they offered. I was informed that if the store was doing their job when we brought the car in to get the tires rotated, they should have also inspected the tires to make sure the tires were in good condition.After the phone call to BFGOODrich, I called the store to speak to Diego on Monday Nov 19th and was told he was not in and to call the next day. So I called on Tuesday and explained to Jessica (another supervisor) the situation and she told me that she did not want to get in the middle of the situation and that she will have a conversation with Diego and follow up with me. But I was suppose to talk to Diego on Tuesday but apparently he was not available once again!The following day, I had not heard from Jessica so I decided to call to speak to her and she told me that he should be in about an hour and she would talk to him.After a week of not receiving any calls from Jessica or Diego, I decided to place a call to her. Jessica told me that she will get things resolved if I can come to the store and bring the receipt. We got to the store and was told by the rep from the tire and batteries dept that Diego is no longer working there. Jessica was on lunch at the time and we were also told by the rep that she won’t be in the department for long since she has had lots of complaints from customers and will be transferring to a new department within 2 weeks. After Jessica talked to her manager Chris, we were told that the best they can do is give us a $20 credit. We refuse to accept that and walked out.Again, keep in mind that we have only used less than 5k miles on the tires that has warranty for 60K.All and all, nothing was done to resolve the issue! Very poor customer service and I would not recommend anyone to use their services.
Wow.! Two london boils for the price of one, 3 pounds of organic grass fed beef for the price of one pound somewhere else, 48 pickled eggs for 5$. If you freeze food or have a big family, Sams is a benefit. Also, we forgot our membership card so costumer service found our account in the computer and cashed us out. Im getting my own membership back home.
We had the most gracious and helpful staff members at your pharmacy on Tuesday Aug. 4. Their names were Brad and Sandy and they went beyond helping us get the confusion of the medication for our dog straightened out by calling our vet (twice) and talking us through some of the confusion. In the end they said they would mail the medication to us at our home, saving us the trip back to your store which is exactly what happened.We thanked them for all of their help and hope they will be commended for the outstanding customer service they extended to us.Sincerely, Jack and Sandy Countois
Wish I could give 0 stars. I have a problem every time I come to this store .They are so unprofessional and even the managers seem to not know whats going on .The lines are always backed up and although they have self service they ask you not to use it if you have lots of items .so make it inconvenient for me by having to then wait in line for 20-30mins because the cashiers s are always superrrrr slow and rude.
Getting worse and worse. Only 2 remaining full service cash registers, the rest are all do it yourself. I refuse to use these, as 1 they pay no taxes making mine higher, 2 they ELIMINATE jobs, both entry level and part time supplemental income, and 3 Im not an employee so Im going to do their work for free, I think not
I signed up because i sell OTC medications online and there prices are good for profits, I drove 2 hours there because they said they had 36 boxes of 400 pack loperamide and i needed 4 boxes to complete an order. when i got there 20 min before closing there shelf was empty and the front end managers lousy excuse was oh someone probably stole some. if someone got out with 36 big boxes of medicine then they have a serious security problem. she said the guy in the back pulled 9 pallets looking for it even though the guy in the back told me he pulled 13 pallets, obviously they were lying and just didnt want to search for it that close to closing time. the same front end manager had me waiting for 45 min for a chicken sandwich because she didnt want my service dog in the cafe. in my opinion,the service was absolutely awful, the managers are lazy and dont care at all about customer service, the employees are liars and lazy all around, and they have no consideration for people who struggle through hours of heavy traffic to give them the business. i would say, if you have another option then take it, dont wast your time with them if you are a business owner.
Sams Club has gone the way that Walmarts has. Both establishments have put there customers last and there PROFIT first. Their checkout lanes, with cashiers have been replaced with scan-n-go. Thus they dont have to give their workers a living wage and benefits. I for one am getting sick and tired with the corporate greed . The Waltons are one of the richest people in America.
Looked around the set up is different more like Floridas it wasnt clean and had more self check outs then other Sams nobody speaks to you unless you speak first I always say good morning etc its my manners at least then it puts a smile on there faces we are in this world together
Poor customer service. My recent experience with customer service at Latham,NY Samsclub has been very unpleasant. When I returned an item at the store, instead of applying a refund, they charged me for the item, and when I noticed the charges on my card, I called them back and spoke to Adam(store manager), and questioned him why they charged me when it was a return. Instead of providing me with an apology for the error, he responded in a harsh way and said that credit will be issued, and very rudely hung up the phone.

2022-06-26One of the best wholesale stores around. I have never seen them out of stock for anything that i needed!!I always go here for anything i need in bulk. They have some delicious food and staff is always there to help.The store is nice and clean even after being this busy.

2022-06-25Website says items are in stock when they arent; Staff misdirected me twice. I paid perhaps $15 for a promotional membership. The store should send me $150 for the annoyance. I was offered a discount to stay a member. Preferable would have been hitting myself in the head repeatedly with a metal chair. This place has nothing on BJs in terms of staff, selection and website. Avoid at all costs. If I could give zero stars I would. This place sucks.

2022-01-30Its a great place to shop but not so for employment. My dad was let go of Bakery department based on the reason that he is not fit for the job even though he worked hard and even tackled all the bakery packaging all by himself during Thanksgiving. They also denied his last weeks of payroll even though we asked for it couple of times. We tried to talk with the store managers and was avoided too. My dad worked at Walmart before Sams club for 3 years and he was not treated like this there. I would never recommend anyone working for them for sure

2022-06-13We were shopping for a new refrigerator and my husband found one online. He checked all the specs and stuff and decided to buy that one.He went through all the steps to purchase it online and finds out it cannot be shipped to the store or purchased in the store.He goes through more steps to purchase it and have it delivered to our home which is the only option available. Then when he is basically done and hits the pay button it says it cannot be deliver Ed.So now we see sams advertising a refrigerator online that we cannot even purchase in any way.Called customer service and they take a complaint and say someone will call us to fix the issue in 11 to 24 hours. Bullcrap, it took days before they even returned his call. Then made numerous excuses and never did fix the issue or make the purchase happen.We never did get help getting the refrigerator and no one knows why, when or how to fix things.Bait and switch is what they did. They never offered my husband any compromise or solutions.Poor service, dont keep their word, advertise products they cant even get for you.Ridiculous and we are premium. Members. Boooo

2021-05-27So, got out of work drove up from Albany and had a bunch of stuff (well over $100) go up to pay and my membership isn’t good enough. They changed the hours and the low class members can’t buy stuff until 10:00.She said I can wait or pay $40 extra.Guess they’re just trying to piss people off. BJ’s Wholesale Club is closer.

2020-06-09I had one of my best experiences ever at the store, I dont know why there are negative reviews maybe there were different people here or different managers but this store really has a great crew that are helpful and courteous. They went above and beyond to be helpful and their knowledge of product was impressive.

2022-06-03Store is well stocked. Aisles are much smaller than they previously were - so it seems like everything is jammed in. It would be more comfortable with larger isles, but... Store seemed to have everything well stocked. I like the new produce section - refrigerated.
