They had the meat selection we were looking for.
Im so glad theres another grocery store in Albion again. The interior remodeling is gorgeous and the shelves are well stocked. Staff is friendly and helpful. The meat deals are phenomenal! Definitely a local business worth supporting.
You cannot beat the meat here! The meat is fresh and top-grade! And the prices are really good for both generic and name brands. Its a healthy alternative to tops which nobody wants to shop at. The place was very clean and really really organized.

A lot better now than the family that ran it into the ground.Doesnt smell meats are fresher, have yet to see expired food trying to be sold for reg.prices. A great new owner who knows how to run a business.
My brother shops at save a lot because he walks there. I have a car and wanted to take him to walmart but he insisted on shopping at save a lot. I never shopped at save a lot when i did live in NY but he told me it was remodeled with a new owner. it looks much better than it did three years ago. Its clean, the food is actually there and looks fresh. And the most important thing is that deadly rotting smell isnt there anymore. Im impressed with all the positive changes and would shop there again.
The store is very clean. The people are quick to help. I really like the management of the store, easy to find whatever you need . Very friendly and efficient staff.

They have boxes sticking out past the edge of the counter causing a trip hazard . well I tripped over a box sticking out and went to the floor. And hurt my knees and they didnt file a report or full out paper workOn the incident.

This is a great store. Some prices lower than bigger supermarkets. Have had their meats and very low prices and good flavor.
Very nice, clean, bright. Lots to chose from, brand names too. One thing was very noticable, and that is how cold it was in there. Will coolers 3/4 around the store and probable new ones, I can see why.
Before the recent remodel and owner switch, I refused to shop here. It was so disgusting.Complete 180! Beautiful store. Amazing prices. Now the only place I shop for groceries!

Great prices, but needs better product selection, and customer service as we were walking around the store for a bit before finding what we were looking for without anyone approaching us to see if we needed help finding what we were looking for.

I was charged twice for a bag of split peas and was charged $1.69 each for 2 boxes of Stove top Stuffing that was advertised as .75 each. I believe the shelf price for Goya corned beef was less than the $4.79 I paid.

2021-12-31The best meat department in the Albion area!!! Usually has a butcher in the back if you need something special. Today I got 50% off NAME BRAND Christmas Candy!!!! I LOVE this store.... Big enough to carry just about everything you need, BUT not huge! I hate walking a mile to grocery shop!

2019-08-30Save-A-Lot has awesome meat and awesome meat prices. Their produce was fresh and has a good selection. It is not as big as some grocery chains and this makes it very convenient. It was also clean and people were very nice, helpful and there when I needed them. I got everything I needed.
