Went to this place for the first time today.=for take out. Ordered the savor bowl with chicken and the Hot and Spicy Noodle soup with Chicken.. Both were big disappointments. I actually went back and complained because the Hot and Spicy Noodle soup was actually bland and the Savor Chicken Bowl was dry and bland as well. When I asked why there was no spice there was no heat or any type of seasoning I was told that i needed to order it that way. I would have appreciated kn-owning that the Hot and Spicy soup is actually just chicken broth. We wont be back.
Savor Eatery Is a fabulous little gem! I’ve been looking for a place like this since I moved from Manhattan. This place was extremely immaculate and had a trendy vibe to it.The person at the counter was so very helpful in selecting the best dishes that I would enjoy! This is by far the best clean eating Asian food I had In a long time! I am excited to go back and try more delicious dishes!
I’ve gotten their food on multiple occasions and every single time it is incredibly delicious. The kitchen and restaurant are very clean and the food tastes fresh!!!
The best, I cant say enough good about this place. Im half way through the menu and everything has been better then the next. Whole and wholesome food with killer flavors. Friendly helpful staff. Pleasant and clean atmosphere. Low pricing that makes amazing value. I eat here weekly and dont know how I got by before they opened
This place is unreal. Thats all I can say. The beef filled scallion pancake is unlike anything ive ever had.
We were so excited for Savor to open for takeout since COVID-19! What can I say, but WOW! You can tell the creators of this meal really cared about what they do; so rare. I enjoyed the Chinese braised ramen noodles. The chicken teriyaki bowl was great, too. Reasonable price and generous portions!
We had heard good things about Savor and just tried it for the first time. My husband had a beef teriyaki bowl and I had the chicken bowl. Both were amazing! We will definitely be back and I look forward to bringing friends here as well. Best wishes for a successful venture!
Went there with family over memorial day weekend. Ordered the Breaded Pork with Coriander chutney on the side - delicious. Sweet Potato Salad with Sweet miso dressing - Really good. The Rice bowl - Nice - could have been spicier. Savor Lemonade - refreshing!Everything else from there went south. One of us ordered the spicy chicken sandwich - inedible. Pulled pork Sandwich was a little better - a little on the sweet side. The person who had ordered the inedible chicken sandwich shared the pork one. The noodles were the worst. The broth was watery - no flavor, meh temperature. The mushrooms were rubbery and slimy. The chicken was a little tired of being kept around. That was a real disappointment.Place was clean and service was not too bad.
I was craving Thai Iced Tea the other night and decided to do a search on google and saw how close this restaurant was and so I went in to give it a try. Once I entered, I was treated by such an enthusiastic young man and ordered the bbq sandwich and chicken wings and most importantly my thai iced tea! The Thai iced tea was superb! The food was full of flavor, one bite and throws you back to good times! Thank you so much, will definitely be back again soon.
Food was amazing!!! My only holdback on the 5 stars was that the menu needs to label which items are vegan and which are not as many of the sauces contained dairy and the descriptions on menu did not indicate what the differences were between the bowls. But overall the food was a 5!
My boyfriend and I absolutely LOVE this spot! It is our all time go-to when we are hungry! They never let us down and the owners are fantastic professionals. They know what they’re doing :-)
My new very favorite place, especially the Scallion pancake/ with beef, scallion, cucumber and some amazing sauce, all wrapped up in the crispy pancake, highly reccomend❤
Yum! Dont miss this place. Wonderful flavors. Very fresh seafood. Dont be afraid to order the shrimp here! Loved it so much for lunch that I bought enough to bring home for dinner as well!

This place is amazing. Try the beef and scallion pancake wrap any of the bowls or bbq pork Vietnamese sandwich. U will not be disappointed!!! Oh yeah, it’s super affordable too.

Savor is simply the best food the Islip/Bayshore area has to offer. At savor you find healthy/inexpensive food that’s delicious. The redone inside is beautiful and has a super relaxing vibe. The best part is the staff, who are super enthusiastic, helpful and accomodating. If you live near Savor make it the next casual food outing you and a friend go to. Trust me, you will leave fulfilled..
The bowls are delicious. I got a teriyaki bowl with tofu and noodles. Its a pretty big bowl and for a good price. Will be going often for lunch
My wife and I have their unique spin on the Vietnamese sandwiches, which is quite tasty, hugh and yummy and the bread was amazing which should be for any Vietnamese sandwiches

2018-12-09Decided to give this place a try for lunch delivery and it was delicious. We got the spicy chicken sandwich, bbq pork Vietnamese sandwich and a chicken savor bowl with noodles. The sandwiches were much more delicious than the bowl. The onion and spicy cilantro spicy pesto sauce truly tied the sandwich together...spicy and flavorful. The sautéed veggies was a nice addition. They were generous with the chicken pieces which was tender. The bread was toasted a little too much for me making it hard to bite. The bbq pork sandwich was seasoned well and delicious. The house aioli was and sliced chili added nice heat to the sandwich. Was disappointed by the savor bowl- was not flavorful at all. It was ingredients thrown into a bowl but didnt work well. Probably wont do another bowl, but definitely the sandwiches.

2021-02-26I started ordering from Savor for the desserts- the crispy buns with red bean paste I could probably eat every single day. The teriyaki bowls are great, theyre my go-to for lunch, but today I switched it up with the 1/2 salad, 1/2 sandwich combo of citrus salad and crispy shrimp sandwich...the salad Ill have to try tomorrow because the 1/2 sandwich was so filling and delicious. I dont know what sauces they use, but it complimented the shrimp, cucumber, and pineapple perfectly.

2021-01-14So delicious, never disappointed. The food is always fresh and each item is very close to the original dish. Also there are unique dishes that you just can’t find locally which is such a refreshing change. Props to the chefs for doing such a great job and also the staff for being nice every time I come in. 2021-09-03Very average for what its hyped up as. Nothing was bad, but it was far from great. Had the savor bowl and fried wings. The wings were crispy with a very sweet chili dipping sauce. Flavor of the smallish wings were good if a bit overrun with yellow fat.Savor bowl with shrimp had a pinkish sauce that wasnt quite sweet and sour and yet not asian in taste. Veggies were corn niblets, two small pieces of broccoli and some napa cabbage. White rice was...well, white rice.The place simply misses the mark for what its aiming to be. It reminded me of bodega chinese food for those who know what Im referring to.

2020-10-24Absolutely love this place! Such a hidden gem in Bayshore. Everything is always so tasty, packed with flavor! They dance that wonderful line of sweet spicy and fresh. I love the pork sandwich! And I have had numerous bowls and I always want more when I’m finished. Definitely try!!

2021-05-03Me and my cousin ordered two teriyaki bowls for lunch which were pretty good. We both enjoyed it. We also ordered the fried doughnuts which were horrible and served with what seemed to be vanilla yogurt. The biggest disappointment was the banana nutella crepe. It came wrapped in a scallion pancake, not a crepe. Why advertise something as a crepe when it is not? Serving something that is supposed to be sweet with something as savory as a scallion pancake just seems odd.

2021-01-17My first time trying it out 1-16-21. I tried the Teriyaki Bowl Shrimp. And it was DELICIOUS!! I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant if youre wanting to give Asian cuisine a try. I also heard theyre Pho is good too. Didnt try it myself though.

2019-04-17This place is beyond comparison. It is the perfect amalgam of comfort food and gourmet cuisine. The quality of the meats and produce used are top-notch. Each dish is expertly prepared and the flavors marry so perfectly its almost impossible to believe how low their prices actually are. The staff are helpful and kind as can be. Do yourself a favor and eat here. Youll be glad you did.
