Customer service over food. Food is decent. Salmon is the best thing there. Customer service is terrible as a whole. There are two people in there with good customer service. The lady with the glasses and the shorter lady, with all respect. Not asking for a red carpet when I walk through the door but be professional some what to the other workers. I’ve been multiple times to see what this service is like. When I say there’s only two people with good service there is only two. Wish y’all the best though
Just moved to Pleasantville my husband had the oxtail and rice and peas he said it was ok not like in nyc of course
This new Jamaican spot is pretty good, Ive tried the shrimp patty, veggie delight for vegan eaters & Shrimp. I must say customer service is very good, that for sure plays apart in your food appetite . Not trying to compare or anything but the other Jamaican restaurant (Cravin) in Ossining can take a few pointers when It comes to customer service. Those kids attitude truly stinks and makes me not want to order from there & plus it isnt all that. I am glad this new spot is open. The only thing I could say is the rice and peas needs a little bit more steaming to make it shelly & soft.. other than that the flavor is good. Keep up the good work guys & remember costumer service is #1. If your attitude stinks, so does your food. One love!
The veggie patty was so delicious. crust was flaky, but didn’t overpower the vegetable filling.staff is courteous and kind, and willing to accommodate.Plus they have a vegan platter !so excited to come back :)
I usually go to “Craving Jamaican Food” on Main Street but I was driving on Highland Road and decided to pick up food here. It was a big mistake. The Curry Goat was tough, salty and it did not taste like curry. The food was cold and not very good. That is what I get for playing “Craving” dirty with another restaurant.
I placed my orders at 11:15am through the phone, I called 3 times to check when the food is coming. Food finally came at 12:45pm. I paid through credit card so I put the tip on the card since my cash is not enough. I remembered the total amount that I signed for. When I checked my bank statement, they deducted $10 more, not sure if it was just a mistake but I was so disappointed. Food was fine, jerk chicken was a little too spicy.
Very friendly and nice staff and the food is always delicious! Had a incident and they fixed it right away.
No menu, no prices, food was okay, nothing to write home about, but $20 for a medium Oxtail meal is insane. I decided on the Curry Chicken $12, like I said ok but nothing special.

I went here 3 days after they were open and I’m happy that there is finally a local jamaican restaurant that is actually clean and had good quality food. The people taking orders were actually nice and greeting people. If you know jamaican restaurants than you know what I mean.... I tried the rice and peas which tasteD amazing. I also tried the Rasta pasta and there patties which were really good!! So far I have no complaints. will be going here more often being it’s a quick drive from my home.
Food is very tasty! We ate oxtails, cabbage, rice and plaintains. Yummy!!Takeout only. VERY New restaurant, if you like a little spice and lots of flavor then give Savory a chance!
Best Carribbean food Ive had in a really long time. The jerk chicken, stewed chicken and cabbage is phenomenal.
I’m so happy this restaurant opened in the neighborhood. I loved the oxtail and rice and peas. The staff was friendly and I can’t wait until the summer so I can go there every day. LOVED IT!

We tried this restaurant and loved it. We got fried plantains, curried goat, and jerk chicken. The rice and peas on the side were also wonderful. A wonderful addition to westchester!

Patiently waited forever for this food!!! Only to be massively disappointed!!!! A large jerk chicken with one peice of chicken... No plantain no cabbage, no veggie... No thyme... Saddened...

2022-07-12Love at first bite, great spot, great seasoning and on point prices.Today was an online order/ take out -> very clean and open.We ordered oxtails, jerk chicken, wings and sea bass. Extremely generous portions. The cool aspect - the meals for the day are cooked fresh in the morning, if it runs out this means the item was in high demand, next day you will have fresh made food, please keep this in mind.After my meal I called to offer my appreciation of quality- thanks to chef and Reesie - we plan to visit often.*update still a great find, fluctuations in price and portions , will update review once more after next visit.

2022-02-06Loved this place. I had a girls day with some friends here and the food was fresh, service was delightful, music and drinks (rum punch and mango daiquiri) was on point. I felt welcomed and comfortable, like I was at familys house. Will definitely be back.

2021-08-16UPDATE - Tried again, ordered through grubhub. When order wass delivered I had to call the restaurant to find out why half the order was missing (they ran out of it). Lowered raring to 2 stars. Aside from the fact no one called to tell me we were missing foodand offer me a substitute, it was jerk chicken they ran out of, 3 hours before their advertised closing time. Suggestion, if youre advertising a dish as a best selling item, you might want to have enough on hand to sell during open hours.Original post - Giving 3 stars and will re-review. Service friendly but frazzled; its only the 2nd or 3rd day since they opened and I guess they are working through opening glitches.Placed an order for pickup, told Id be called when ready. Waited an hour, then called back and was told it was going to be another half hour. Drove down and the small lot was packed. Several people waiting for to-go orders. I think it took 15 minutes to get the order and pay for it.Food was good. Tried the Rasta Pasta with grilled chicken. The chicken was a jerk chicken cutlet. Loved it! Also tried the Curry Goat, and it was grand; just like its supposed to be.No industrial Tower Isle beef patty here; the ones I had today were homemade, and good. Not spicy, so add your own sauce.I will definitely try again.

2021-07-13This is one of the best new spots in town! The atmosphere is friendly and I always feel welcome. The oxtail is super delicious and worth a try. I just wish the indoor sitting area was setup. It would be nice to have the opportunity to dine in.

2021-11-15The food is not bad but too spicy I love pepper but sometimes the pepper is over powering the food it take away the real taste. and the price for a medium food is insane the customer service is very bad. like you walk in to the restaurant buy food and the attitude from the staff you wanna leave. and Im wondering 🤔 you never get the same price everytime different staff different price .

2021-05-08Customer service is horrible! The food is good, but after this last purchase I just made, I am boycotting. The attitudes in there is very nasty and I am sending my money. I try to always support black businesses, but my people make it so hard with their customer service. My review would of had no stars, but Yelp makes you put at least one. My best advice is FIX your ATTITUDE’S because people would start driving further away to a Caribbean restaurant with better customer service!

2021-09-21I had high hope for thid new addition to Ossining. The atmosphere when you walk in is less than welcoming and remains that way.The food in the hot plates looked delicious butunnamed so you would have to do a lot of pointing if you were unfamiliar with the dishes being offered. I asked for a menue there were none to be had so if I want a take out menu for the futureiout I would be out of luck. I bought my beef patties which were homemade I was hoping that would make them better than the frozen ones but the flavor was not there.I really want Savory to succeed because we need a bigger variety of food options here but as I left all I could think was. They will not be here long. I hope I am wrong.

2021-02-19I wanted so badly to like/support my people but the food was intolerable to say the least. My family is from Jamaica and I know good food...this is not it.The brown stew fish did not taste fresh at all and was bland; not a bit of seasoning. The rice and peas was decent and the plantains were rock hard.The fried chicken was okay and the waffle to accompany it was soggy and tasteless. My daughter highly disapproved. I will not even get started on the Mac and cheese...the taste was horrid and cheese utilized must’ve been cheap as it tasted mostly of oil.Not sure if this place will be around long and hopefully some adjustments will be made. I was told by the server they only just opened the night before. You’re better off going to Cravin, which is local or going to The Bronx for a good authentic Jamaican meal.
