The don’t care about saving what mental health residents have. They don’t check on residents that have a host of falling. My Mom fell twice once cut her head had to go to emergency room second time she broke her hip. The staff should be doing rounds every hour checking on residents. Not reading a book or playing on there phone. They administrator doesn’t return call doesn’t check phone messages for $13,000. A month I expect much better care

Jen from Human Resources is absolutely useless. She should be cleaning toilets, not dealing with employee affairs.

My mother stayed in this facility for 2 years. The last year of her life I was unable to visit due to covid. Im not sure of the treatment she recieved. She had Alzhiemers. Comunication was not really an option. The last week of her life was spent in their hospice wing. The nurses on this floor were wonderfully kind and caring. Alexis and Juliana were the nicest people anyone could ask for. They let us come and visit my mother as long as we felt we needed. They were everything you would expect and want caring for your loved one. However, there were a couple of employees who have no business in this field of work. Because of them, I was not able to be with my mother in her last hours of life. The day before my mother passed away, An employee named Maryanne would not let us back in after we stepped out to grab a bite to eat. She said we had overstayed our welcome that day and would have to return the next day! I explained how my mother was expected to pass that evening, but she jyst said I dont have to take this! and called security! The next morning a sour nurse by the name of Patricia told us we had 1 hour for the entire day! She then demanded suddenly that we take a covid test and suit up in a platic gown, gloves and masks. By the Time the test came back and we went to see my mother it was 8:50 At 9:30 she came in and told us to leave our time was up! I cried to my husband to give me a final minute with my mother. Patricia stood guard outside the door! And said Youve had enough time. Time to leave! Take off your gown do theres no cross contamination! I said we are NEGATIVE!. To which she replied Excuse me?! Do yourselves a favor and your loved ones. Dont but them in this place unless you want your heart ripped out! Because thats exactly what happened to me!

My mother just arrived at this facility Friday., For PT, and possibly for long term care. I was devastated to here I couldnt visit... After seeing my mom at her apt almost every day... But wait .... She is in a room on the first floor, window visits are possible. The nurse let my mom use her cell. Im so appetitive of that. The staff is so awesome. I approached employees walking in through a door, asked them if they could make sure these items got to my mom. When I went to the window visit both bags were there. The staff at Glendale is the best and go out of the way to help all families

Best care for my father. It was a few years ago. Staff was responsive and caring. Oversight by State and County makes a big difference.
