Front office staff so nice and pleasant . MA and PA Danielle Domani treats my son with kindness, explains everything ,knowledgeable about the medical conditions treating for my 16 yr old . Great overall experience .

Went here originally on a recommendation, and I have been happy ever since my first visit. The reception staff are efficient, informative and friendly. Ive always been greeted with a smile. My healthcare provider, Linda Dodick NP is one of a kind. Totally professional and knowledgeable. In addition, she always puts you at ease regardless of what you came in for. She actually listens to what you have to say, a rare quality in todays day and age. I would highly recommend this practice.
P.A. Linda Dodick is hands down the best dermatologist I have ever had. Shes knowledgeable, compassionate, and exudes warmth! In her very competent hands, both my son and I feel well cared for. Even though we are relocating farther away, we will still return to Schweiger because of Linda.

I had a 10:30 appointment at 11 I went to the desk to ask the receptionist how much longer it would be, they went and looked and said there are 4 people in front of you. So I asked do you triple book and one of the Nasty women at the front said I don’t know. Extremely unprofessional. So rude!! I then asked so I guess I’m looking at another 1/2 hour no response.If my husband was not getting something removed I would have left. I have been in health care for over 25 years this is not good patient care at all. The doctor was very nice. But will not return. My time is extremely valuable if they knew the doctor was running that far behind they should have called the patient to reschedule or come later. There are plenty of good professional offices this is not one of them.
I want to give 5 stars, I really do. The staff is lovely. But there is no way to call the front desk. You go through a call center or an on line messaging system. Very hard to reach the office this way. It is easy to get an appointment, however.
Everyone was so friendly, listened to all my concerns, were knowledgeable, and the office was beautiful. I was seen right away too, which was a big plus.

After my visit I had a issue with a prescription that they prescribed. Tried calling them 3 times to resolve my issues and not one return call back. Don’t waste your time with them.

First time visit to Schweiger in Amityville, check in was fast and courteous, wait for Provider Linda as expected, not more than 10 minutes. Linda came in very professional and enthusiastic, she addressed all my concerns and performed the needed treatments expeditiously and precisely. She and her assistant made the experience pleasant and gratifying to have chosen this practice. Highly recommend.

I went to the Amityville location. The staff was professional. The wait time wasnt long. My concerns were addressed and a treatment plan was fully explained.
Great Doctors, friendly office staff, however since its been changed over to Schweiger, its gone downhill. Now, when you try to call the office, you get transferred to some patient care center in another country. So when you want to request something, they have to send a message to the office, instead of handling things immediately. The end result--you get shuffled around and lost in the system. I miss the old days when a Doctors Office was a small local business and you got treated like a neighbor.
I had an appointment on Monday Feb 15th 2021 at the Amityville office with Dr. Cervany. I didnt catch the receptionists name upon checking in she wore glasses but she was very courteous and friendly both upon my entering and departure. Megan, whom Ive never met before was awesome, friendly and courteous as well. Last but not least Dr.Cervany who is awesome and friendly as well like the rest of the staff at this office. I recently had a precancerous lesion removed by Dr. Cerveny. He and his staff were exceptional. Every step of the procedure was explained prior to being carried out. My questions and concerns were thoroughly answered in a caring, compassionate way.

First time at a dermatologist. I was super nervous about going. The staff and dr. Couldn’t have been any nicer. It only took a minute or two to remove something from my neck that was bothering me. It didn’t hurt at all. I would definitely recommend using them. The office is super clean and neat!

I have been using the doctors at Schweiger Dermatalogy (previously known as Island Dermatology) for many years. The front desk staff at both locations (Amityville and Long Beach) are always courteous and professional. The nurses that assist the doctors as well as the doctors are truly outstanding. For the past few years, I have been seeing Dr. Cerveney, who besides being an excellent doctor, is a true gentleman. He always takes the time to properly diagnose and treat any condition. He patiently answers any questions or concerns and does not leave the exam room until his patients have been given all pertinent information on the care and follow up of their conditions. All in all, it is a great experience to deal everyone in this fine practice and would highly recommend this office for all dermatological needs.
I was so thrilled when Schweiger arranged an early appointment when I noticed a suspicious area on my skin. I was seen so quickly. Fortunately it was ok. They are kind & professional!!!
The girls in the front receptionist area are vey pleasant, the offices are very clean , time you wait is like any office you go to sometimes you go rite in and sometimes you wait.The doctors take there time and answer your questions. In my case I needed some records. And the back and the office girls push a few buttons and they are handing the records that you requested. Wife and I both see PA Linda Dodic, who has referred both of us for removal of cancers and pre-cancers by Dr. Cerveny. Linda has a sparkling, reassuring personality, the steadiest hands (she wielded a scapel near my eye) and a real knack for seeing the bad things.
Dr Cerveny and the entire staff at Schweiger provide outstanding attention and care with each visit. Last year I developed a particular condition which Dr. C not only addressed successfully, but more importantly he muted my emotional concern associated with the condition. Furthermore, the office environment is meticulously kept.
Great practice, run like a well-oiled machine with an over the top excellent staff throughout the Amityville office that really knows their stuff.

I was very leery of going to a new dermatologist. I looked up one that was near to my house. I found Schweiger and called for an appointment.I was very pleased with all the personnel I spoke to. Especially when I went to the office for my appointment. I spoke to a lovely women who walked me through the registration process. I will most likely go back, if needed.

Overall the experience was great from the scheduling to the appointment , they were on top of the reminder emails right up to the day of , they even try and if possible will try to accommodate you if you are too early for your visit, and they take the time to explain each process so I never got the feeling of being rushed and the office staff was on the ball great atmosphere and a positive energy.

I like my visits with Dr. Dolitsky as she does very thorough skin checks for skin cancer which is very important for me since I did have an experience with melanoma in January. I would recommend her highly.

The customer service on the phone does not even deserve 1 star. When making the appointment the girl who answers the phone does not even bother to check with the billing department if the doctor takes the insurance. Makes an issue if you need asn appointment after 4pm. Very rude on the phone.

There is no reason to be waiting in the exam room for 30 minutes or more to be seen by the doctor. This has happened to me twice of the three times I’ve been here.
The PA that treated me was extremely knowledgeable, thorough and kind.

2022-06-03Linda & Tracey are AMAZING!!! The rest of the staff are always very helpful, friendly & very nice. My mom & I have been coming for a long time so those women are like family. Each time we leave we always have a smile on our faces 😀 😄 😊 ☺️. The one downside is that you cant speak with a representative in the office. U MUST go through the call center😡😡😡 . Previously youd call & youd speak with someone in the actual office. If it wasnt broken why bother the system?????? It worked fine before so why change it????

2021-12-10The Schweiger Dermatology Group was not only a Great choice but the Best choice I made to have procedure done. The wait time was short and the receptionists were very helpful and very friendly.The Doctor and assistant was phenomenal. They provided painless and efficient care for my situation and educated me on home health care until my next follow up visit. Enjoyed the visit and recommend them highly to all.

2022-01-25Ease of booking an appointment was excellent. I used ZocDoc. Also upon presentation to the office, there was valet parking, no fee. The staff was very friendly. Check in was a breeze. The wait time was less than ten minutes from check in. This means the office was running on time. The time spent with Dr Cerveny was sufficient. He explained what labs he would order. The process and prescription for me to take. Overall my experience here was nothing less than stellar. I would recommend this office. Very courteous, clean environment with covid19 procedures in place. I am glad to call this office my new dermatology provider.

2022-02-14I would give less stars if I could. Steer clear from these thieves. I went in on April 2021 to remove 10 skin tags and check a blemish on my chest. What i thought would be a quick simple visit has been nothing but a complete nightmare! To start I was advised that my treatment should be done in 2 visits so my insurance cover the procedure. So I did what was asked. Paid 2 co payments and went on my way. Soon the bills arrived. When all was said and done i have paid over $2000 out of pocket for these skin tags and they billed the insurance company for another $2000. And now today for the blemish that turned out to be a fungus they billed me ANOTHER $534.10!!! So over $2500 for the removal of a few skin tags. And it is 10 months later and still getting bills is obnoxious! Stay away from this office. Nothing but liars and borderline fraud!

The office is spotless which is a huge plus for me....Dr knows her stuff and she is very kind and caring. 2022-06-08Great office and doctors! They make the process very easy. My only negative is that I dont think valet parking is necessary. I will admit I am not a fan of valet parking and didnt expect it at a doctors office at 8am.
