I felt rushed. My visit lasted five minutes. The PA that saw me was not interested in listening to my problems to try and find a solution. How am I to get adequate treatment when a physician won’t consider all of my concerns?
Greedy, greedy, greedy! I made an appointment with one of the doctors as a new patient. It took a while to get but I liked her when I saw her (dr. Rachel nazarian) . After that, I couldnt get an appointment with her so they gave me someone else in a different location. When I got there I found out she was a physician assistant, not an MD. Recently I tried to make an appointment with Dr. Nazarian because the skin was peeling on my hands and I needed to see someone right away. I was told there were no appointments for her for more than 90 days. I explained I was an existing patient and that on Zocdoc they were appointments for the next week available for her. Apparently she decided that if its for cosmetic procedures (Insurance doesnt cover so she gets full cash payment) that she has lots of time but for existing patients who have insurance there are no slots. I asked for the practice manager to call me back and no one called. What a sad, greedy practice! No concern for existing patients unless she can pocket the cash on profitable cosmetic procedures!
Wow is all I have to say. From the moment you enter the office till you walk out - the experience is amazing. The procedures I had werent fun, however, the nurses and Danielle made me so comfortable that it made it so much more pleasant. I saw Danielle Daughtridge and shes incredible. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and she was honest about what I needed and what I didnt need. Im so so happy with my results. The office staff was amazing too. I will be recommending Danielle to everyone I know!!!!!!!
First time at Schweiger’s dermatology on Friday was just absolutely fantastic! Soon as I walked in from the staff at front desk that directed me on how to proceed with enrolling etc. to the great Danielle that treated me! Loved the way how Dr. Daughtridge handled me with care and concern due me being a little worried. I definitely recommend her to everybody that’s dealing with skin issues!! She’s very knowledgeable and care for her clients.
Had 8 hours available in city and responded in person for required visit for prescription refill. Was not only fit into the schedule, but re-examined and given new treatment plan. All without an appointment but with care, warmth and efficiency. Richard Munich, MD
Ive been coming to Schweiger for years seeing Dr. Nazarian. I am genetically disposed to Melanoma and she takes every, single tiny speckle of a freckle on my body as seriously as I do. Shes also great for cosmetic advice and procedures. She is my dermatological fairy godmother! Wait times in the office can run longer than anyone would typically like but I believe thats because the staff is truly taking the time to talk to their patients when in the exam rooms. I just visited during NYCs Phase 4 reopening and felt so safe. I was the only one in the waiting room and safety protocol was #1 throughout the entire visit. Because appointments were spaced out I was seen right on time, too
Annie, the young lady at the front desk was very helpful for my first time visit when I had an issue with my insurance. I was in tears that I was not able to see the dermatologist bc I had an emergency. She was super helpful and made it possible for me to see the dermatologist without having to pay out of pocket.Lisa, the medical assistant, was friendly, funny & compassionate. It felt like talking to a friend. The dermatologist was also informative and was able to assist me on the journey to wellness.I recommend this location!
Danielle and her entire team were amazing ! I felt great walking in and even better walking out. They took me right away, and the best part about it is they didnt push anything on me. Will 100% be coming back
Have visited Dr.Lonadi 6 times for my shingles and follow up treatment including a general check up for skin cancer. She correctly diagnosed my shingles problem and suggested a treatment that helped to drastically reduce my pain and discomfort during the first week. I found the doctor to be quick to recognize the reasons for my discomfort and prescribe the appropriate medication. However, she took her time during the examination and consultation. I found the doctor and her assistant to be both caring and helpful in educating me on to know and how to take care of my skin problem.This doctor belings to the group of rare medical practitioners who make follow up calls to inquire about the success of their treatment. She supplemented my original medication to shorten the duration of my discomfort.I was able to secure my appointment and see the doctor immediately after the first call. I typically see the doctor after a short wait after arrival. Her assistant escorts me to the examination room and out of the office. The office staff is courteous and friendly.I only wished Dr. Lonadi was a general practitioner to replace the doctors I have consulted during the past five decades. Very clean office and very kind and considerate staff of doctors, Ive been there twice for a cosmetic touch up for my skin. Dr Farber has excelllent precision with her instruments. She always makes sure you feel the utmost comfort level. I would go back and ask for Dr. Farber again.
Review update: Changed my rating after speaking with Susan and Lori today, longtime employees of Rigel who were understanding of my dissatisfaction and helpful in remedying the situation.I was a happy patient of Rigel Dermatology for years and while the doctors here are nice and good, the staff since becoming Schweiger has gone downhill seriously.Despite never receiving my patient responsibility bill (but receiving an EOB) I was badgered by the front desk staff at an unrelated follow up visit even when the first thing I said was I want to make a payment, for over an hour they purposely kept from seeing the doctor until they conducted a series of calls only to come back and ask for a payment which was the first thing I offered when walking in.The message was a noy subtle, care is refused until you make a payment.Mind you previous visit was only 6 weeks or so ago,I was prescribed an antibiotic ointment and confirmed the Duane Reade location with the nurse who files the scripts and almost 36 hours later I arrive to pick it up making a special trip walking 20 minutes after a long hard day only to find they never called it into my DR pharmacy.The after hours doctor on call refused to take my call to call the script in so I went home untreated and needing to make a second trip.I do not recommend this derm group. Too big and will fail.
I called and asked if they had any doctors that accepted my insurance (otherwise why would I make an appointment??) and i had to wait several weeks for an appointment. I came from Long Island, took me three hours to get there, for the front desk girl to tell me the doctor I was scheduled for does not accept my insurance. Said they are very busy, they could not accomodate me, there is no one that could see me. Not even an apology for the inconvenience/mistake on THEIR part, very rude. Poorly organized, WASTE OF TIME!!!
Hard no. Office was dirty (look at the legs of the white chairs, theyre dinged and scuffed and dirty), dust all in the corners, marks all over the walls, coffee splash on the wall, etc. The NP I saw had me sit in the patient room for 40 mins before being seen and then had pretty bad bedside manner. This ingredient is horrible for you! Why are you using this!? Why would you use a shampoo with so many ingredients? Oh my gosh is your face always this red?! Wow that is BAD Lady..... thats why Im here.... For your help. In a city thats full of great derms, Ill just go elsewhere when I need help from a professional.
Honestly, the worst healthcare experiences have taken place in this office on 35th St. I wasn’t satisfied with my first visit and didn’t feel like the PA truly understood my concerns. I left discouraged and I didn’t want to visit another dermatologist again, two years later I gave them another try and I waited 45 mins to see a doctor... who barged into the room with two samples of a topical cream and asked if I had any questions. I felt rushed and overwhelmed and I will never be returning to this office ever again.
I was seen right away and the assistant was great, these two things should be a staple at every doctors office. The reason for my low rating is that I was not given a thorough exam. Normally when you visit a dermatologist for the first time, you are given a full body exam of the skin. A doctor should look at your skin, you should also be asked about medications, allergies, etc. Although, I had already provided a small amount of information, the information that I presented should have been cause for an exam. I was given a verbal exam and yes Dr. Farber looked at a few of my moles with a light. I was not asked if the moles itch, hurt, have changed shape (which some have). I had blisters on the back of my feet, due to a hiking trip last week and my skin is now healing. For that issue I was prescribed Recedo for the now healing skin and given a coupon, discount card that could only be used at a popular pharmacy, I could not use my popular pharmacy. The pharmacist told me that the rx was expensive ($300), I gave her my insurance info (it was not covered as it is for cosmetic purposes), I then gave her the coupon that I was given at Dr. Farbers office, The coupon reduced the rx to $22, amazing! Anyway, I read the instructions and they said to apply 2x times a day. Dr, Farber said to apply once a day, I asked the pharmacist and showed him the area I was talking about on both my feet; he looked a very skeptically said, you need to make sure that the open skin is completely healed before putting this onto your skin. I was not told this by Dr. Farber. So for all of the issues I have described, I will not be back and will be looking for another dermatologist.
Schweiger Derm is amazing! Ive been coming to Dr Adler for five years. I had breakouts and no other doctor could solve them. I tried everything. He cleared my skin up and now Im doing the microneedling which has been life changing. The entire staff is so wonderful.

Ive been going to the Murray Hill location for years. They are responsive, attentive and super friendly. I see Dr Nazarian for most appointments and shes thoughtful and attentive. Highly recommend this practice.
I will never go back. i had an appointment with Dr. Farber. I waited 45 minutes to see her. She spent approximately 5 minutes with me, completely ignored what i told her and then misdiagnosed me. My advise to you is find another dermatologist. this place sucks
Dr. Michelle Farber is okay, the only reason I really come back is they take my insurance and theyre close to my office. The front desk staff is extremely rude 9 times out of 10, the wait time is usually at least a half hour and there always seems to be an issue with scheduling.
Schweiger Derm is amazing. Doctor Farber has amazing bedside manner and is very caring. She always listens and looks for the best course of action for my issues
Highly recommend Doctor Michele Farber, she is the best, even on her day off she was emailing back and forth with me putting to rest all concerns I had. Its not often you come across a professional like her, wish there were more like her in the field. Thanks again Doc :)
I am extremely un happy with the care you guys provide i needed to do treatment and you guys never follow up or even called to let me know what happen. i work in the medical field and you care was unfinish and not proffesional. Guys if their something wrong with you they will forget you bout you. I even tried calling and what their said was im putting notes in the system some will call never heard a call. Never going back nd not refering them at all .
This place is great. Friendly informative staff. Dr Eliades is fabulous. I go to him for medical Dermatology and cosmetic dermatology. He’s knowledgeable and has a wonderful manner. I highly recommend!!

I just called and the person( David) who picked up the phone was very rude and hung up on me. I will not be using their services. I asked to make a consultation and I told him my provider Cigna and plan as my colleague has my plan as well. Does not even deserve one star.

Great office, doctor Stolman is very attentive and recommends the best treatment. The waiting time is minimal, everyone is really nice- the receptionist, nurses, aids, etc. I am so glad I found them!!!
A terrible practice. Their call/help center isn’t coordinated with the local offices and it’s impossible to connect with the office if a prescription is incorrect. It took me three days to receive a prescription after it was sent incorrectly twice. Schweiger Derm is a private-equity backed practice that doesn’t have nearly enough resources. I’d avoid it altogether.

2022-02-16LOVED how efficient my annual skin exam was. Loved how nice they were and how they were not pushy for me to buy their products. I dont even think they sell their own products? Ive been to a ton of derms in the city who upsell everything. Here, I just had my skin exam, they gave me some recommendations, and I was done in 30 minutes.They have amazing availability (my appointment was at 730am). There was 1 person ahead of me but I had no wait. I filled out a quick survey on an iPad for medical history.Lara did my skin exam and she was super thorough and I felt really comfortable asking her questions and asking her to check different spots. Elizabeth was really helpful in writing down all the recommendations and explaining how to use the recommendations with my current skin routine.Btw their recommendations were mostly prescription products not the skincare products that other derms get commissions for selling.Scheduling was amazing (they have a texting system).I always procrastinate my annual skin exam and usually skip it because I hate scheduling and waiting at doctors offices, but Schweiger Derm made it so easy and fast.Love this practice and will def be back.

Any visit is simply a pleasure! Her staff is so professional & courteous... PA Decter & her staff is certainly one of the best dermatologists in all of NYC!

2022-06-16I never write reviews, but I felt the need to do so in this instance with Lara Decter. She was so incredibly rude that I honestly thought it was a joke, didnt knock and barged into the room, barely introducing herself. Didnt answer any questions I had, just said Ill give you a packet once you leave - never got that packet. Didnt get a follow up. Not going to be long winded here but am actually astonished at the lack of professionalism.

I am appalled at this practices response to their doctor unnecessarily scarring my back. go elsewhere at all costs. this man is a sad excuse for a doctor. Also, their response to my complaint to them directly before going public was unhelpful and disgusting.

2021-12-27I took advantage of the Thanksgiving sale and purchased one Fraxel treatment at the virtual cosmetic consultation and scheduled the treatment for today. I again got a call at 9 this morning to confirm that I should get there by 12:30. I happened to double check with them that if I was prepaid. Then the lady told me that I had to schedule my treatment within one week of the purchase date in order to apply the Thanksgiving price, so I need to pay for the full price if I visit the office today or they can refund me.I was never told by anyone about this; the consultant even suggested me to buy two treatments at that time, only I decided to buy one in the end. I asked if I can talk to the consultant again or anyone that can help because first of all I wasnt informed about the valid period at all, I already prepared everything for the treatment today, and I took the week off from work also for this. The lady talked to the office manager real quick but the answer was still a cold no.They dont sound they care at all and they just cant wait to refund me and cancel my treatment. Its not just money, dear office manager; couldnt you be more considerate. Im frustrated the service I have does not match that the one I purchased, and I requested days off so I can stay home while recovering. Now my plan for this week is ruined all of a sudden. If you think its not your fault, its also not my fault.
