Owner trying to be slick and always trying to rip off new people if you dont know their pricing system. Make sure you ask them for a price list and how they calculate how much to pay you.

I always hear classic hits blasting from the sound system when I go by scrap king. One thing is I didn’t see a lot of stray cats which I enjoy seeing at the maspeth ave place. And there were fewer towering mountains of scrap than the smith st spot. But they did pay nice money and it’s near my house, so

The cleanest and efficient scrap yard I’ve experienced so far. These ppl are always busy keeping the yard clean so customer won’t get a flat tire. Always remember to ask for special of the week when u there. They have some ridiculous special deal sometime that’ll worth you while.

They may not pay they most for common metal (light iron & steel). But it is super competitive if not the best for copper, brass, ac rad., wired, sealed units. Their scale is super accurate and are the most genuine people Ive dealt with in Queens, Brooklyn, and Staten Island scrap.

I dont know what planet the 5 star guy is on 5 cents a pound is not top dollar A different yard is giving 9 cents right now. People just have to stop looking like the guys that post top dollar for your car signs on street Poles
