Just went in first time Cathy was so welcoming she made me feel comfortable and confident on hat she was going to do, Need to fix my color and have my cut. Cathy did a beautiful job I am total satisfied. Already made an appointment for the second stage High lights and I can’t wait . Salon was clean and Cathy use all safety precautions. Thank you so much for making me feel beautiful again.
Received a fabulous haircut from Kathy. Ive been coming here for several years now and each time Kathy has done a wonderful job. Not only has she done a fine job shes very friendly and courteous. Her and the rest of her staff have been great!
As soon as I walked into the salon I felt welcomed and was attended to immediately. Kathy took her time to get to know me and used great products on my hair. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone looking for excellent service at a great price :).
I made an appointment with Angie to do a Balayge and it was a great experience. She was very kind and sweet, the prices were reasonable and she did a great job overall. I would recommend this place again and I would recommend going to Angie as well.
Was in desperate need of hair care after the covid lockdown. found Seabelle salon on broadway decided to give a try. Kathy did the keratin treatment and my hair looks sooo good. Shes the first person to do it correctly!
I just got my Blonde highlights done from Kathy this week, she is an amazing hair stylist, loved the haircut she suggested with my most favourite blonde hair color tone. You should definately visit her if you are looking for gorgeous looks and satisfaction, she cooperates alot and will do extra for you if needed. Not to forget she did my eyebrow tinting so well with my new hair color tone, have received alot compliments already. . .
Had a wonderful experience here. Came in with a Groupon for a haircut, Balayage, and blow dry. The stylist told me that I would have to pay extra ($75) since my hair was so long. At first, I felt like I didnt want to spend more but the results were so great that Im glad I did. Its still a great price. She was thorough and gave me good advice on how to make my hair thicker and keep it moisturized. I feel like a brand new person with the color and cut! Love it.

I am giving 1 star because they turned my hair ORANGE, put chunky/streaky highlights in my bangs when I simply wanted a balayage style, and I had to pay nearly $100 at a SECOND SALON just to fix the mess. A waste of over 4 HOURS of my day.So, I went in for balayage, hoping to lighten my current balayage color from caramel to blonde and leave my roots and base color the way it was. I also didnt really want a cut but she talked me into getting layers because it would look better with balayage. So I went with it even though I wasnt really sure about it. The place was quiet at first but then many customers came in and my stylist (the owner I presume) kept bouncing back and forth between me and other clients. They were also training a new assistant who really did not know what she was doing and it was very uncomfortable for the customers and the poor girl trying to figure out what to do.Fast forward to washing out the dye and taking out the foils, a different person starts putting this stuff in my hair, not telling me what it was so I asked finally and she said it was a toner. Now I am pretty trusting so I just said ok and let her continue. The main stylist said okay, 20 minutes (no timer set) and went on to do someone elses hair. Well time went on...and on... and finally they decide to rinse my hair out. The assistant washed my hair, apparently not to the liking of Cathy, so she started to do it herself, and then the moment no girl wants to hear at the salon - Oh.... and all the stylists come to look. Oh.... Finally I get to see in a mirror.MY ROOTS WERE BRIGHT ORANGE. I never asked for ANYTHING to go on my roots, my natural hair color!! Best part, she says SORRY FOR THE MISTAKE and nervously laughs about it. This is peoples hair we are talking about, that we are paying money for and trusting you to do be experts about. Then she asks if I want to keep it!!!!! WHAT?!?!? So she goes back and mixes some brown dye and starts smattering it through the orange, and hours are just passing by as I sit in this place, mortified and in disbelief of what has happened.So they wash it out again, and okay it is not orange anymore but still not my natural color and its a weird color I do not like. Then the bangs. THey looked liked a 2000s pop star with bright blonde chunky streaks. And the balayage was even streaky!! The only impressive thing was that she got my hair to turn blonde from the caramel brown color it was, that she later admitted she herself was surprised and probably should have told me she might not be able to do it in the first place. (WHAT?! So lying to customers, great!)Even leaving was horrible. The place was a million degrees, she upcharged me the original groupon price for the light blonde color and because of that I didnt have enough cash. So she said okay you can pay card then, and then she hits me $10 tax for the card without even warning me. No way. Now I had to go to the ATM with this horrible hair and come back, and yes I didnt give a full 20% percent tip and she smirked when I handed it to her - honestly she is lucky i even PAID at all let alone tip anything! As I am leaving she tells me to call if I need anything..... please.I made the first appointment possible at another salon to fix the disaster because even though I could have gone back to this joke of a salon and demanded they fix it, I wouldnt trust anyone working there with another second of my time. I had to get low lights to fix the bangs and blend the balayage better, as well as color correction throughout all of the roots. They even fixed the cut, saying it was 1/2 inch off and not even straight. Please, please - save your time and money and go elsewhere where your hair, time, money, and look are respected.
I stumbled upon this place and had a delightful cut and highlights. Kathy is amazing and I left feeling like a million bucks!
Seabelle Beauty Salon is the best ,Kathy the Maneger is very attentive,professional and talented. She makes me feel great .Today she gave me a fabulous haircut. I am very happy with my experience at the salon. Thank you againg Kathy.
Be warned! This place does not honor their groupon and the practices are outdated. This was my hair after 4 hours of processing and 250$.... I did not even want to bleach my hair, just single process to tone it. She would have made me come back again and charged more to fix this mess! Really awful customer service

Her haircuts are amazing! My mom and I have been getting our haircuts here for the past few years and are very happy with the results each and every time.
While I did have an appointment, I walked in about 330pm on a Sunday. The owner said it was no issue & went next door to get the manicurist. She came back & said it would be 10 minutes. I ran out & came right back. No manicurist. She goes next door to get her. The woman walks in, looks me up & down, asks me what I want. “Gel manicure & regular pedicure, please”. Again that look. The answer “ I have not eaten all day, I can’t help you”. Really? Of course I leave. As I leave, I make it very clear that I know I was refused service because I am overweight. The owner said no. The manicurist, says nothing. So, if you are nit smaller then a 14, don’t go
Actually there dont know anything about customer service, or how to make clients... the lady that I spoke to on the phone didnt mention anything about extra charge, I had the appointment and I went there.. she was eating, I had to wait for her until shes done... than she came to talk to me telling me that she will charge $75 more than I suppose to pay .. anyways plz make sure to dont go and waist your time to be surprised that they will charge more than double what u expected even if u have a Groupon deal.. they actually just use it to bring u in and u will and up paying more than the regular price, any other salon can charge u

2022-03-28I absolutely love this salon! Kathy is so talented and so kind! I came to her with damaged hair and a bad hair cut. I was really hopeless about getting my hair back to it’s heathy and beautiful state. After doing multiple hair treatments with her and getting a haircut that completely fixed the style and shape of my hair- I feel amazing! Also I have to say. What really saved my hair is the Brazilian hair treatment. It reduced my frizz and made my hair sooo shiny! I HIGHLY recommend it. All the staff here are also so nice. If you are looking for a professional who knows what they are doing — not only with hair treatments, hair cuts/trims, and blow dries but also hair coloring- she’s the ONE. Every time I go, she never disappoints. Also another amazing thing is that Kathy always makes an effort to make time for me based on my schedule. Every time I called she went out of her to make sure I get an appointment with her that works best for my schedule. She has become my go to. I can’t let anyone else touch my hair!!

2021-11-10I am a returning customer of Kathy, who has cut and blow dried my hair many times. Kathy is very flexible and adaptable to my schedule, very friendly, kind, warm, and professional. Out of all the hairdressers I have been to in New York, Kathy is my favorite, and does the best job at giving me the haircut that is the best fit for my hair and that flatters me most, and I can say the same about her blowdries. Kathy is also very knowledgeable when it comes to hair products that are good for my hair type and color, and knows what to recommend me when I ask her what products I should use to improve the quality of my hair.I highly recommend Kathy because of her high level of professionalism, remarkable skills, and communicative, adaptable, pleasant personality!

2022-03-26I set up my appointment at this salon after I realized I hadn’t gotten my hair cut for a year and it was looking pretty rough. My hair had lost all its shape and I had an insane amount of split ends. Kathy was super nice and the second she picked up her scissors it was clear she’s a really skilled hairdresser. She really put all her focus on my hair and took her time to make sure every part of it came out the way she intended. When everything was finished, I was stunned by how amazing my hair looked—Kathy gave me exactly what I wanted (a trim for the dead ends and some face framing pieces/general shaping) and made it look better than I ever could’ve imagined! I feel so much more confident now and will definitely be back in a few months for my next trim. Note that this place is cash only—if you don’t come prepared there are 2 places across the street with ATMs she can point you to. Thank you so much Kathy!!

2022-08-23Kathy is so talented and honestly the best hairdresser Ive been to in NYC. My hair was damaged, messy, and all sorts of colors. Kathy fixed my hair and now I look like a Model. She is also very sweet and nice.

2021-12-04I came here to trim off my dead ends, with nothing more in mind. but as i sat and saw the results of other clients leaving the shop. i off the whim, decided to dye my hair for the first time ever in my life. I put full trust into kathy and i am glad i did. I left so happy with my results and have been telling all my friends to come here because she left me absolutely in love. i was nervous and she calmed me down and was working with me so i got what i wanted. You can tell her exactly how you feel and she will do anything to make you the happiest customer.

2020-08-08I have been going to Kathy for years and she’s the only one I trust with my hair. She’s an absolute sweetheart and I always walk away satisfied and feeling like a new woman! Have no idea what Teresa in prior reviews is talking about regarding size discrimination. I’ve always felt welcome and staff has always been kind to EVERYONE. Of all shapes, sizes, and colors. Thank you Kathy for always treating me like family and doing such a fantastic job. :)
