Sears in other cities:
My experience after returning to this store after many years was a little disappointing. I remember shopping with my family there as a child quite fondly. However, the years have not been kind, and the customer service was practically nonexistent. In addition, I was barely able to locate the items that I was searching for, and some prices were quite ridiculous. I doubt that I will be returning.
The store is old and shabby and falling apart. There are leaks and holes in the ceiling. It takes forever to checkout even though the lines are short. Their computers are ridiculously slow and havent been updated since the 90s. The associates dont seem to know their own store policies; they each have a different answer when asked. The only good thing is that their prices are competitive. But dont shop here, but it online.
I ordered shoes online when I came here to pickup they couldnt find my shoes over 40 minutes but when I came the associate complete my order status 4.14 minutes still they couldnt find my shoes . whats kind of cheat / fraud I dont know with out delivery shoes there computer system shows status completed. I also requested for talk with manager she didnt show up while.........
This place sucks..not became its Sears, because the entire store is untidy. In the shoe department you cant find the boxes to the shoes, in the box you may find 2 left shoes or the box say one size but the shoe itself say another. Its hardly any sales people on the floor to help you. The entire store at this location needs to be remodeled and they need to hire new staff. Overall of course they have great deals, I just wouldnt go to this location to get it period.
I wrote 1 star review yesterday, but everything turned to be OK after all.. so I deleted the yesterdays review... I came to the store and very friendly cashier knew who I was and what it was about. Special thanks to Mary!P.S. One of the issues this store has - not enough sales people in applianceselectronics department. Come on Sears, you cant have that given the situation you are in. But again, thanks to super friendly cashier I didnt have to wait 30 minutes to purchase my tv.
When I was there for the first day about a month or two ago there was an event going on. I got a $10 gift card because I am a member there and gave my email to get the gift. Also the people there was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately I just returned back to California July 12. If I was still at New York I will definitely return back to that store.
Maybe the deals are good, I wouldnt know, I try to avoid it. Its a beautiful and interesting building from the outside and has a great useful parking lot, but from the inside this store is dimly lit and has no windows. Its literally the most depressing shopping environment and experience ever.
Very nice place for shopping... all products are nicely decorated.. Clean and good environment.. they have parking area for car. Employees are very friendly. But I dont like their hand bag area.... they should bring more good bags...shoes area is good but they should bring more comfortable boots and shoes . Ladies jewelry collection is not impressive ...
This review started at a 5 star then dropped to a 2 star because my online order wasnt delivered by the date promised but David from the Automotive section correct the issue and got my order to me within 3 of the original due date. I am beyond satisfied with his effort.
Here we go Sears! I find this product on Sears and I read about Sears and I saw bad reviews about delivery & dates.. then I start chatting with someone and he said I don’t need to worry, product is in the facility and I get the item delivered on Friday.. theen they called me 2 days ago and delivery scheduled for.. Friday, today.. they called me and they said item can’t be delivered today or tomorrow.. next week Tuesday earliest, MAYBE!I took off for this delivery, I paid $67 for DOMESTIC delivery option and apparently I had to cancel..Sears delivery system is sucks! Don’t bother!
I had gave up on Sears due to bad service. However today Thanks to the salesman name Gene he is very nice and helpful. I brought new tires and the service today was great. Thank you and I will be back. The Sears/Kmart store is really nice also. Thanks again Gene for your service!
Looks abandoned from outside. Entrance is from parking lot only. Automated phone system hangs up when you press 0 to speak with operator. Interior is slightly carried for. Some light fixtures and light diffusers create impression that they will fall on you before you check out at register. Line is not that terrible for pandemics time. Floor is clearly marked for social distancing.
Their point system is fantastic. I always get over $20 off. The prices are fantastic, its the type of store you have to dig to fine the right outfit. The buyer can impove the style of cloths, but sears has more then just cloths. They also have great deals on casual shoes, sneakers and boots.
This store needs to be reconstructed/renovated. I have found dead rats running around and the bathrooms are disgusting (smells like horrific diarrhea before you even get close to it) don’t understand why the company does anything for this. I talked to an associate and he told me that they don’t really care about the establishment. There’s a whole in the ceiling on the 2nd floor towards the comforter sets, i don’t know if it’s plugged up now but hopefully the store gets a renovation it deserves. Also it still the same old merchandise from years ago still sitting around, what’s up with that ?
I could not express how disappointed I am with Sears . It is one place you should not try to buy appliances from because of their very poor management. I had purchase a few appliances memorial weekend and still haven’t receive anything . The delivery continues to be rescheduled for whatever reason on their part. I try calling the numbers that was provided and all there is an answering machine. I went down to the store and try canceling the order but the sales woman at the store couldn’t help . I try calling back the number got a response after close to an hour being on hold (I’m not Exaggerating) told the the rep. On the phone that I will like to cancel the order; she said the order was canceled but my bank statements are saying something else.. SEARS isn’t what they use to be. I WILL NOT BE DOING Business with them again.
I went to buy boots. Price advertised online did not match price in store. Cashier did not help at all even after I showed her the website. Then called customer service they said I can buy the boot but it will be available for pick up at the store a week later. Even though they had 20 pairs there. This place wasted my time. No wonder no one shops at Sears anymore. Good Riddance!!
I was thinking store is running out of business so it will be cheap. I bought a Levis pair of Jeans but I dont feel any difference from regular store like Macys. Prices are same or may be it was just the thing ehat I bought, over all good experience, less rush, plenty of space to try things, good variety of Jeans for men. I am pretty satisfied except little concern for price
Good prices, good selection staff makes you feel welcome, very important..I would give it 5 stars but The look of a place and shopabilty does matter and sadly the store is tight, way to much stuff on the floor and the place feels like your grandparents shop. Sears got to make the shop look more modern.
My experience was brief inside, and primarily with store pickup. Service is complete trash, save yourself the stress and pickup from another location. About 5 people were working - I dont wanna assume they werent doing anything, but it didnt seem like it. None of them had any sense of urgency either. When I got there, I was the 2nd person in the room. I waited and waited until there were 7 people in line. On top of that, several people got helped from the back of the line before anyone else.No order, bad service, bad experience.
You always wonder why stores go out of business and Sears provides a good explanation. Wanted to buy an exercise machine. Went into sears and they do have quite a selection, except 90% of those bikes were broken. The whole area wasnt maintained in what look like years, it was dirty and there was no one to talk to. Why use a big section of your floor to show broken equipment? Why pay the manager of that store? This can only be answered by Sears management.
Sears has to carry brands that are worn by the younger generation such as Nike, Adidas etc. They seem stuck in the 80s. Ive seen clothing that have been on the same racks for the past 6 years or more. I personally would prefer to get an item at a discounted price and not earn dollars, or buy one get one 50% off.
Layout ok, lots less variety and no restaurant anymore. Too few cashiers. Took a 94 y.o. and stood in line for her because there is no way for her to stand in line 20 minutes for a cashier. Also the main entrances are closed. Only the parking lot one is useable. And why are the stairs to the basement closed off?
Incompetence. Poor customer service. Employees are either incapable of helping, dont know about the products, or just dont care. After practically begging a sales person to help me assemble an order for my workshop, the guy botched the order. I should have known when he couldnt answer any questions about the thing. (Then why was he working in the tool area?) I ordered a workbench and the guy rang up just a work surface.Furthermore, every time I talk to customer service they hassle me. They dont help - everything is my issue to solve. I have to call another person, I have to check whats being ordered is correct, I have to become an expert on the products, etc.. I basically have to do my own customer service.I cant wait until the day I hear that Sears is closing 100s of stores nationwide.
I had a good experience at my last visit to Sears. I was shopping for girls clothes size 4t and 5s. I found several colorful choices. The sales representative was friendly and asked if I wanted to open a Sears account. I said no. I was able to find what I was looking for right away.
Not so enthusiastic about visiting that place. I do because of curiosity due to the constant drumming regarding its demise. Not so interesting any more, inventory is low although the faithful continues to grace that place with their presence. Its just a matter of time before the bells toll.
Wow! I recently invested in Sears so I decided to give this store a try when I found myself needing a hammer. At first it was good - the place was clean, there were many customers, and the employees seemed friendly. But when I got to the register with a hammer and a $10 bill it took literally two minutes! If you dont think thats a long period of time, hold a hammer and a $10 bill and wait two minutes. Its an eternity. The young man helping me moved as slowly as one of those human statues that cover themselves in silver paint for tips.
Horrible experience x2. I saw a good deal on something online so I ordered it for pickup at this location. Both times I arrived and the people there were so incompetent. I showed them what I was picking up and the order details and they still had no clue what it was it where to find it. Place is extremely disorganized and things are all over the place with no order whatsoever. First time they found my order after approximately 20 minutes of searches. The second time I was there for almost an hour during which time multiple people came up to me asking me what exactly it is I was picking up. Then they started bringing unlabeled merchandise to me and asking me if thats what i ordered. Then a worker came to me and said they cant locate it after which I asked to speak with the supervisor and about 10 minutes later one of the items was finally found. The other one I just gave up on, its ridiculous, even when I called the customer service I had to call them 5 times because the reps either kept putting me in hold permanently or dropped the phone calls. When I finally got a decent rep she told me she called the pick up center and they said the person who accepted my item at the pick-up location wasnt working that day so I have to go back the day he comes to work bc hes the only one who knows where it is. What kinda bs is that!?! No wonder sears is slowly going out of business
I had the best experience at Sears on Bedford Ave. In Brooklyn, NY. I called in asking about tires and the representative David was extremely helpful. He was helping another customer, but immediately called me back. He assisted my family with all of our questions, explained the different promotions as they related to tires and was knowledgeable. It is a holiday and some individuals lack patience because of the hectic work load. However, this was not the case at all. Even after my vehicle was ready, he walked my husband to car, gave some recommendations and answered our questions. This was truly an example of excellent customer service. Sears has just retained a satisfied customer!
Sears is great because of everything it has for good prices. Customer service though, I asked 3 or 4 people for help to open the perfume case. First i asked in the jewelery section if by any chance they had the key, only to be ignored and they went to the speaker phone to announce help in fragrances, to which nobody showed up. The last lady I asked said no because she hadnt punched in yet, which at the end was the one to help me. Only to see the keys were right beside the jewelry section where I had asked somebody else for help. More cashiers were needed since there were only 3 to help a huge line.
I don’t normally write reviews, like it has to be something unreal for me to go on Google and do it lol. 2 hours for an oil change.... going to a local next time. I even made an appointment online 3 days ij advance. It’s the worst. Still can’t believe I wasted 2 hours for an oil change which is around 45 minutes. The one time I decided to try Sears. Never again. My car could be on fire. Staff just walking back and forth. I’m asking and they said the auto guys are busy, peeked through the door and it’s laughter and one guy actually doing work out of 5/6 of them.
Terrible line length. Atrocious customer service. Nonexistent on-floor assistance. Shopping at this store is done purely out of necessity rather than desire, or because they sell a brand that I trust.Sears has gone from being a trusted retail business to an outdated, heartless greed machine that, like an elderly dog, limps on using its remaining strength to try and stay moving. Now that JCPenney has opened where the old Sears used to be at Kings Plaza, I see absolutely no reason to go and be ignored, offended, or abused at the Beverly Road location.
I am very disappointed with sears customer service. In late December my fridge stopped working. From the span of time a technician has came five times. And each time the fridge has remained in the same manner. We also have paid insurance for the fridge. When the technician told us that the fridge can not be fixed and that it needed to be replaced, sears claimed that the technician never reported it. Its is now almost May and the fridge is still not working
The worst service for pickup merchandise. Delivery in the vehicle in 5 minutes is not working. Even went in the store to pick up, nobody in the counter to ask or for the services. Lots of people were waiting. Thats doesnt show how they value their customers. Never again, better go in for shop and check out from the counter.
Floor associate told me that the items came in a set and I was waiting for 20 minute for them to finally find out the items don’t have a barcode to scan and the cashier disappeared for another 15 minutes to figure out what to do. Literally don’t waste your time coming here, go to the Target down at Flatbush Junction.
Some of these reviews must be written by people that either work here or are friends of people that work here. The place looks like its caught in the 90s still, and trying to find shoes in the shoe department was a nightmare. Someone that works there walked past me at least 5 times, almost walked into me a few times too, actually. A bunch of the shoes below the display shoe were different items, one even had a pair of USED OLD SHOES someone clearly put their nasty worn shoes in and stole the new ones. When you go shopping you dont need employees asking you if you need help every two seconds, but if they see you looking lost or struggling to find the right pair of shoes, a Do you need help? goes a long way, instead of seeing people need help then running away.
Got an appointment for noon Dec.30.2017 oil change only, I show up within 15 minutes and wait in line for about an hour. 13:00 I was issued new paperwork that stated I had no appointment. 13:30 my Subaru has yet to be moved to a bay, work has not started. I got tired of waiting, went across the street. Eventually around 15:59 I am back waiting to pickup my vehicle because they just called me and told me my vehicle is ready. 16:20 They finally charge my card and provided me with my key and I left. And yes people that arrived after me without an appointment left before me.
Worst sears I can imagine the people there are very rude and the leadership worst spoke with a manager on the phone about my order which they messed up and refuse to do an exchange....their customer service is customer service is at the bottom of the floor ..now i see why they losing business they dont know the meaning of putting customers business first. which i could give these ass hole 0
I wouldnt recommend shopping at Sears PERIOD. They try to pressure/scam you into signing up for their credit cards which has a ridiculously high interest rate and it isnt even worth the wait on the lines. Not to mention their cashing systems are beyond out of date, once you actually get to the register (after waiting forever) it takes about another 10 minutes just to get through the transaction. Maybe if Sears paid the workers better they would actually work....
Date of visit 3/23/18 approx 2pm. Staff member on 1st floor was courteous in giving accurate info Re: locating desired merchandise. Sparse personnel on 2nd floor. Needed open front house/lounge dress. Located them easily. Reasonable price range $16.95 to $40.00. and fabric...cotton to velour. No checkout on 2nd floor. One line at checkout on 1st floorserviced by 4 cashiers during my visit...overall very satisfied with my experience.
Sears is a wonderful place to shop with good salespeople who are helpful with a smile...the prices are fantastic and the best thing about it is when you get to the register the prices are lower than what you thought they were on the rack and of course its a wonderful feeling saving money all the time....
Fun fact: This store opened in 1932 and is the oldest Sears store still in business. First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt was the first person to shop at this store to buy a pair of baby shoes for her child. And since Mr. Lamperts bid succeeded, it looks like Sears is here to stay.Giving it 3 stars since Ive never been to this store.
Sad to see such a huge corporation go downhill. The Internet killed this mega giants catalog business.Who does not remember anxiously awaiting their Christmas wishbook to arrive in the mail? So many of its stores have closed, this one is the last left in Brooklyn.I do have to say, that Sear on Bedford Avenue looks better then it did several years back.In the mid 1990s I thought this Sears would be closing.Bedford Avenues selection of clothes, bedding, bath, jewelry etc. is good.Lots of parking, clean bathrooms.
Went upstairs to exchange a bra I purchased for MomCashier was polite and decentReturned bra was $12.99Exchanged it for a $19.99 pair of leather glovesRoughly $6.50 Freecash points were used for the initial purchase meaning I paid the difference of $12.99 and $6.50 initiallySo with this return Im told pay the difference of $8 even though$20-$13= $7After this overcharge i check the receipt I decided to exchange the gloves for a blanket on sale for $19.99In other words an even exchange being that the Freecash points were no longer applicableIn other words lostSo to reiterateI paid the difference of the gloves and the initial bra purchaseI decided to exchange the gloves $19.99 for a blanket $19.99So when doing the exchange the cashier says no Freecash applicableI agree and say its still an even exchange since I paid $8 ($1 more than should have been charged)So imagine hearing pay $6+I was like $6 for what?$19.99 sale item exchanged for $19.99 glovesWhere is the $6 in this? She used the $6 Freecash argumentOnly there is no argument there because it isnt the $7 nor $8 over chargeI comment out loud that the system as well as manager doesnt know how to do math being I have a bachelors degree in accounting of all disciplinesThe obese self proclaimed manager takes offense and says something as insignificant as her Sears careerI respond to that utteranceIf you knew how to add Sears wouldnt be liquidating and in bankruptcyThe fool replies she makes more money than myself she is the be all end all there is no superior to her authority in the Sears organization and that she knew I would go there regarding the financial future of SearsNow someone should contact me from Sears regarding this matter but they wont because the only consistency in the organization is inconsistencyHad she addressed me with intellect and courtesy none of this happensI had pity on this organization but it needs to be put out ofobusiness as a going concernHopefully Walmart reaches BrooklynSo the arithmetic challenged obese manager can be put to unemployment retraining and another job where she makes more money than meLMMFAOAdditional information:She tried to refund me only the $8Which is why I raised my voice to put the illiterate thief on blast and she still couldnt count my money properlyI got $14 in singles so she basically emptied one of the currencies in her drawer over her hurt prideShe also allowed a subordinate to have a customer and their credit card company on hold on the phone while the line increasedThe financial press is paying particular attention to this location and this idiot manager seems to be only concerned with making more money than me rather than generating revenue as a representative of Sears itselfShe is a danger to her own financial future and Sears seems to be the only place willing to employ her skill set
This sears location is absolutely the WORST! I went in there to return something small and the cashier was having a full blown conversation on her cellphone while returning my item. Disrespectful. Management at this location need to reconsider who they have working for them because these employees make the company look bad. Smh
Dreary and gloomy, an institutional feel. Presentation is EVERYTHING. This Sears needs a bright new coat of paint and some better lighting. They have some nice things & great sales at times but its depressing walking around & through the store. I order online and pickup in the designated area, its the only way I can deal with Sears. Its no wonder why so many Sears across the U.S. are closing.
Never again will I go to this Sears or probably any other Sears just because of how bad of an experience I had. On Saturday morning (5/28/2016) I placed an order over the phone to pick up an Air Conditioner, I was told on the phone that the AC was in stock in the store and that I would receive an email once its ready to be picked up. I figured no problem it will maybe take about an hour for me to get the email since the AC was apparently to my knowledge in stock. About 2 hours went by still no email, I called Sears and they said that I just need to wait for the email. More hours went by, I at this pojnt cleaned my whole house and took a nap! Woke up and called Sears again to hear the same thing for me to just wait for the email. Another hour went by and my boyfriend insisted that he called, they took the recipt number and told him that the AC was not in stock! You would think that they would have the decency to call us and tell us that so we could make other moves. So the guy told my boyfriend that we could go to the store and just exchange it to another AC around the same price range and no problem, I go to Sears Sunday (5/29/2016) and tell them exactly what they told me on the phone and the lady at the counter told me that I would have to call to cancel the whole order and basically wait for the money to come back into my account and then order another one. I felt like that wasnt enough for me and I did not want to walk out of Sears with out an an AC so I decided to walk to merchandise pick up and I told the guy there the same story and he asked for my phone number and he said that the AC was in stock, I was so mad that I even went through all that that at that point I just wanted the damn AC and leave already. Dont ever order on the phone for pick up at this Sears or in my opinion any Sears.

Air conditioning was broke for months during the summer about 2yrs ago, bought something in early july( AC broken) came back again about 6 weeks later in mid August and it was still broken. Nearly fainted due to temps still being in the mid-80s. Store let a vital consumer necessity go un fixed for entire summer. Inexcusable.
The Bedford branch Brooklyn New York city is the worst workers are lazy rude and lack motivation. I would definitely be taking my business elsewhere the automated system stinks workers need to be trained in customer service especially doing business over the phone I have regretted my last business transaction
Im a regular customer at this sears. The cashier today made me feel so unwelcome there that i had to write a review. There was no Good Morning no hello no smile...no type of greeting when i went to him. I ask him am I going to recieve the extra 20% off. He said IDK and thats it. When i was finished he didnt even hand me my bag I had to reach for it..and of course he didnt say thank you or have a nice day. Sometimes little things like that matters to a customer who sends money. His hands were very ashy. Sears you need to give your staff greeting customer lessons.
I went to Sears because I thought the are the best company I purchased a washer and dryer the worst service you can ever get the machine doesn’t work properly I don’t recommend anybody to go to SearsYou try to call him on the phone you get people who doesn’t speak a word of English you can stay on the phone for three hours and then the end of the day you’re not getting nothing
The sales associate was a gem...HOWEVER the rest of sears should be ashamed of how they treat their customers. I purchased a fridge on 8-23-16 for delivery on 8-25-16,paid the fee to haul away the old one. They came delivered the new one but didnt take the old one. Called got the thats not my department got transfered and was told they would come Friday. Hummm today is Friday and the fridge is still here. Called and was told the next available date is September. Oh i was on hold because the delivery department is in the Philippines. #searsUsuck I wouldve given you 0 stars but it wouldnt let me
Worst customer service ever and lack of every shoe size, I waited for someone to assist me and she came back after 15 without any greetings. I will not recommend this store to any of my friends or family members. Its a huge waste of time. Please buy online as its much better than coming to the store and not being able to find what you are looking for.
The delivery man found 3 dead roaches under the old stove. Great. An excuse not to take away the stove. Now its on the front steps of my house from Wednesday to Monday when the city trash should pick it up. I wish I would have thought to bribe the guy. Thats how it work with Sears delivery. I phoned the Brooklyn store and the put me on 20 minutes wait. Rude and blunt service.
Horrible experience wanted to purchase a watch and bracelet at the jewelry store had three Associates and neither one could help me they were all too busy tending with inventory issues including losing a customers wedding ring finally got another Association associate from another department to help me then I needed a link taken out of the watch that I purchased was only one person in the jewelry section that is capable of doing that and she was too busy to help me finally got frustrated and wanted my money back she sent me to the front of the store the associated the front of the store was very rude and nasty to me I end up cursing at her for insulting me and she felt free to curse back at me and we were both in a cussing match making matters worse I will never visit that store again this was most horrible experience ever
I met every employee in the store while trying to pay for an appliance. No one was helping me downstairs in the basement, even after asking do you work here? To several employees. I had to journey from cash register to cash register and employee to employee to finally pay for the appliance.
Worst sears ever. They never answer the phone and when they do they are rude. I called a few times and this lady answered only to hang up or transfer me without listening to what I have say. If you hate your job so much give to someone who needs it and will be more respectful.
This place ise to be the spot for everything you needed now its slowly going out of business, stop selling certain brands n products. Still love it to this day but its gone, you should hurry n go chk it out b4 everything is gone, plus they give good deals.. gonna miss this place
Dear President/CEO of Sears CC Corporate Office Officials & H/R:While I do miss our closer location at the Kings Plaza Mall. This morning I thought for several minutes that I had entered the twilight zone into another city, state or even era. Meeting Tyrone your store manager who had been so above and beyond helpful truly positive & upbeat! He went out of his way to search in two places for work pants and tops for my husband in the Dickies brand unable to locate his size on the floor displays.I look forward to going back and doing most of my fall, winter shopping as well charity purchases for children in need at this location because of his outstanding professional salesmanship to taking the extra steps and time of helping our family out.During economic financial challenging times as I am unemployed since 2010 to date but my spouse has two physical hard labor jobs in need of study work clothes. We are thankful and appreciate his efforts hoping all at senior management are aware of this rare individual.Acts of Kindness With Lots of Love Mama Bear RAE ^_^
The guy who is woking (unfortunately, I dont know his name) in the downstair, was helping me kindly. I was trouble to get a my new grill for special day, and this was to bother me for couple of days already. This generous man helped me completely at a one time.Thank you very much!
In my opinion both cashiers were very unprofessional the First cashiers didnt even try to give a suggestion to help the second cashier chose not to even look at me like I wasnt human being, she only stared at her cash register so I had to keep repeating the order number to her over and over again I had a horrible experience in sears today the one thats on Bedford Avenue between Snyder and Beverly in Brooklyn 2/25/19👎🏾👎🏾
The workers are the worst, very rude and disgusting, when I asked about my order a woman put me on hold for 20 mins and when I asked her name she hung up on me.... I called back and spoke to another woman and told her what happened and she wouldnt let me file a complaint about my experience never shop here again

2021-09-30This Sears is very iconic. Brooklyn had one of the last surviving Sears. The store wasn’t as crowded as some of the other closing Sears stores in the past. Still early in liquidation so we have a little bit of time to enjoy this gem! The Building is incredible. The architecture is great! Long LIVE SEARS!

2022-06-23Its relatively futile to rate this place as it has been closed for business. 2017-10-02I rarely leave a negative review, but the Sales Associates at this location are some of the rudest people in the neighborhood no matter how polite I am to them, for no apparent reason.Even though the sales floors are usually empty, be prepared to wait in line (which is always too long) for 10-20 minutes. Overall, good deals on clothes but many who work here are terribly rude and indifferent towards customers, so Buyer Beware.

2021-09-26Its a sad place on its last legs. The discounts are great, but the store itself is not too easy to get to even by subway. Its closing soon, so this review doesnt really matter in the grand scheme of things, but its a good place to get a deal on whatever items remain in their inventory.

2021-11-0150-60% off going out of business sale now. Some items didnt seem worth the price. But there are some good buys here. Only the down escalator worked. There was an elevator to come back up. Checkouts can only occur in the department/floor where you get an item which no one tells you. The 1st floor check out line is ridiculously long and no one social distances.

2021-08-17I visited this Sears in Brooklyn NY to pick up an item I had ordered online. While there I checked out the store which I have visited on numerous occasions when I lived in Brooklyn. Its been 7 years since I moved to NC. I was very disappointed to see how the store has declined. Particularly in the tools and appliances departments where I was always able to find just what I needed. Now the store looks like it has been decimated. I dont believe it will remain open much longer as it no longer provides the standard of service as in the past. Its very sad to see so many stores I depended on go out of business.

2021-10-11I visited the Sears of Flatbush store on Saturday afternoon October 9th 2021. I was there to take advantage of the Store Closing sale thats happening until late November 2021. Clothing selection for men is very limited as far as clothing sizes are concerned. Theres also a Kmart located at the same address. Sad to see it go. I dont know what will replace it.
