This place has been on my radar for a while so I was excited to finally try it. Ive been fortunate to eat at numerous quality vegan restaurants around the world so I am lucky to have a depth of experience to back up my food tastes ;)While this was definitely solid vegan food, there were a number of factors that notched it down to a 3/5 stars overall.First, the food: again, very tasty and unique menu items not found elsewhere. Very excited to try a vegan version of the Harlem classic chopped cheese. However pretty much all the mock meats were just soy - not very unique and certainly not worth the prices. There was a little something off with every item that stopped the food from being mind blowing. It tasted like good, homemade food, but not the chef level quality that I expect when spending $20/entree.-bbq riblets were tasty but were lukewarm. Also only given maybe 6-8 riblets (small portion)-chopped cheese had barely any cheese to speak of. Otherwise the meat and bread were great on the sandwich-steak was more like a burger patty (tasted good tho)-no handcut fries available anymore (listed on menu), instead they offered parsley mashed potatoes. When they came, they were potato chunks. Definitely not mashed.-mac and cheese were delicious!-baked cheesecake and cupcakes were amazing - definitely the highlightStaff were nice but there were some weird things:-drinks were very slow to arrive and came as we were getting our food. Part of the reason for getting drinks is to enjoy them while waiting for the meal!-got a drink we didnt order (we had discussed it but we very clearly ended up saying no-the server clearly wasnt listening)-we were given the check with our desserts and asked to leave as soon as we finished our dessert because they had a reservation coming. this left a bad taste especially because we had ordered another drink and that wasnt brought until during dessert so we didnt even have time to finish it. We also had only been there maybe about 1 hour and 10 minutes, which I feel like is not overstaying our welcome, plus our bill came to over $100 so it wasnt like we hadnt paid for our stay. They should have at least let us know when we sat down or when we ordered dessert that they had a reservation coming at X time. Ive been to plenty of restaurants that do that and thats no problem. Being kicked out while youre finishing a drink is not the way to entice people back.Normally Im not one to complain about service at all, but all of these things added up to just feel a bit weird. Its great that Harlem has a solid vegan restaurant with some yummy vegan food. But overall it wasnt an experience that has me wanting more, nor would I really recommend for people to come out of their way to come here.
Wait was long and we missed brunch times (but they accommodated very well). At the time we went the air conditioning wasn’t functional. But the staff was kind, food was tasty and they had plenty of fans running. The restaurant is small but mighty. I tried the Fried Fermented Soy Chicken Drumsticks that came with the sweet potato pancakes. It was very flavorful. A good blend of savory and sweet. My friends that weren’t vegan liked the food also. I’d say call ahead and make a reservation, if you can. But overall great food and experience!
Horrible .I Called ahead and ofcourse they failed to mention no AC AT ALL. Their AC has been busted all summer. I never ate so quick in my life and there was no discount for all the heat How dare u make ur customers eat in that heat It was more cooler outside. The mac N chz was horrible , avacado was ok..But the po boy crawfish and chicken parmigiana sandwich was pretty good. Oh yeah and nomore fries r made here .Most things r over priced. Wait staff needs much improvement.
The ambiance of this place is great. Staff was friendly and attentive. Both my sister and I thought the baked Mac and cheese was on the salty side. But the star of the dish was the Lemon Crusted fish steak, which was recommended by our waiter. Seasoned well and resembled the texture of a crab cake, just wish it was a bit of a bigger portion. The side dishes came out lukewarm unfortunately and the plating left a lot to be desired.
I ate like food was going out of style here. The food is excellent!!!! Those grits and vegan shrimp.....mmmmmmmgood. I literally brought almost everything on the menu. The place is so swanky and cute. Just go and youll see exactly what I mean. I will eat here again, for sure!!!!
It was a smaller sized restaurant with very dim lighting for the evening. It was quite hot, but there was an industrialized fan to keep you cool. I enjoyed the broccoli and the Chopped Cheese Burger. I would definitely order that again. It was reminiscent of a Philly Cheesesteak. I also enjoyed my passion fruit juice.
The food here is so great! Everything smells good looks good and is so full of flavor. Everything is 100% vegan. I had was looked and tasted like shrimp but wasnt even the texture of it was on point. There macaroni was so creamy and delicious they had what looked like drumsticks and it tasted better than chicken. Hats off to the chef i didnt miss meat at all. The space was tight but the vibes were so great. They played Neo soul music and old school R&B. The servers were so sweet and attentive. We had there version of cheesecake for desert, being the cheesecake connoisseur that I am I was skeptical and I absolutely loved it! I would reccomend this place to everyone.
One of my husband good friends was raving about this place so we rode the train to the city to give it a try! Well let’s just say it won’t be our last time visiting. When we arrived it was a 45min wait so we hung out in nearby Central Park until we received the text saying our table was ready. It’s way smaller than I would like but the ambiance in the place is very laid back. We ordered the appetizer trio that included hummus which was delicious. I got the smothered “chicken” with macaroni, and mash sweet potatoes. Let’s just say I couldn’t tell it wasn’t real chicken. My husband had the bbq “rib tips” which was amazing as well. The food came out fast once we placed our order which was very impressive because it wasn’t a table that didn’t have customers at it.
This was my first visit to this restaurant. I have to say It was pretty nice. The Nori Roll was kind of confusing, we were not able to figure out whats in it. It was confusing taste. The main dish was really really good, i forgot the name if I find out I will update this review. The desert was delicious as well. We got cupcake ice cream.Overall it was delicious experience we enjoyed it and would definitely visit again.
I just did a quick search for vegan restaurants near me. Im so happy that I was introduced to Seasoned Vegan. I had the vegan chicken and macaroni and cheese. OMG, that Macoroni was amazing. I wish I had gotten a larger size or two. I have to make sure when I come back to Manhattan that I make the time to visit and place and order. It wouldve been great if I couldve placed an order online and came in to pick it up. It did take a while to get my food, because the place was packed. The food was well worth the wait.
Food is amazing! Great staff and ambiance. Feels like being home, servers and cooks are really hospitable and took time (even though it was busy) to help us figure out what we wanted to order. The red velvet cupcake was the cherry on the top to an overall 5 star experience. This will def be my new spot when I’m in Harlem.
Went here because I saw that it had some really good reviews.I went to order the ribs, Mac n cheese and rice but when I got there they were limited on many options so I got the Ribs, rice and beans.Once I opened the food to eat it, it was extremely dry. I was heart broken because who wants dry ribs? Even the rice and beans were dry as well.It didn’t taste bad but it wasn’t really that good.I was told it used to be better when they first opened.
The reason for my current rating is because the transition between dinner and self service needs a huge improvement. After being seated we waited 10 minutes for a waiter to come see us and another 5 for someone to realize we didn’t have water yet. (The host brought it to us). We had to wave down Bran, I believe that’s what our waiters name was; to get his attention to put in a drink order. Nobody came to ask how it was going and I unfortunately overheard him suggest a side that was off the menu to another table after I had placed my order. (Parsley mash potato) I would’ve 100% ordered that had it been suggested. Aside form this, Bran remembered we asked him for straws 10 minutes after the self service table next to my wife and I, asked him for water and he had to bring it in plastic cups for them. We also had to wait a very long time for our water bottle to be refilled. I’m going to have to try to give this place another chance soon. The food was tasty, I ordered the black pepper ‘steak’ with a side of broccoli and fries, but they brought me rice instead of fries. I gave the rice a try, it was really good. I just didn’t eat it because it wasn’t what I ordered, nor was I really in the mood for it. Again the food is tasty, really good food but the service can change the experience of it all.Suggested tips are calculated AFTER taxes and not from the sub total. The business may want to check that as tax isn’t a service provided by the server.
I’m not Vegan and don’t often do Vegan/Vegetarian food, but like to once in awhile and I must say this place was pretty great. The Nefertiti Salad was delicious and the staff were friendly and service was kind as well as prompt and professional. The spot offers a nice and relaxed atmosphere plus a lot of options for customizing your dish to your liking. Great dressing on the salad too!
I will say I’m usually not big on seasoned vegan, I went during COVID and the food did not hit the spot at all. Surprisingly today, I ordered via the ToGoodToGo app. The young woman was very polite and took my order with a smile. The women in the back making the food also greeted me( I just appreciate politeness) I was given spinach, rice, black beans and what I believe was a vegan chicken. The food was perfectly seasoned. The rice was just on point, and the beans tasted like they got them from heaven idk what it was about today. I meant to take a picture but I honestly could not stop enjoying the yellow rice beans and chicken combo. The flavors bounced off each other very nice. And once again I’ve had bad experiences here where I did. It enjoy the food but that was 2 years ago, today I arrived at 930Pm and was out in less then 5 mins.Food was hot and well served. I shall return and encourage anybody who had a bad experience to give them another try
Food was okay and we got the food cold. Maybe there was an issue with door dash but the time it said it was ready the food was cold. We ordered the vegan chopped cheese and vegan Max & cheese. Chopped cheese wasn’t bad at all flavor was good but the Mac & Cheese was very underwhelming despite the good reviews from it. Don’t think we’ll go there again.
By far one of my favorite restaurants!!! We were so hungry and wanted the food fast that we didn’t look for parking rather than ordering takeout and devoured the food in the car!!I did manage to get a few pics.Fresh, seasoned to perfection, not overpowering or salty. We were craving for more!! Pics below are Crawfish, collard greens, Mac and cheese, quesadillas, salted chocolate pecan cookie praline ice cream sandwich . 😋😋
Vegan paradise especially for a new vegan! Small intimate space, hostess was super friendly and helpful. Food delicious. Cupcakes moist and yummy. We went on a Friday and DJ was doing his thing. Besides the super sweet hostess, and Budda who was A+. 4* because the other staff passed as if you were invisible avoided eye contact, very rude.
Full disclosure: I’m a non-vegan and proud meat-eater, nevertheless I came to Seasoned Vegan to appease my sis who is vegan. We were in the neighborhood so we decided to try the place out. Upon arrival we waited a few minutes while they cleaned a table and then we were seated. It’s a small space with a few seats and was fairly busy on a Saturday night.Apparently there was only one server so service was very slow. Eventually our orders were taken. We waited quite a while for the food and once it arrived the presentation left much to be desired. On top of that, the food was cold! I ordered the sautéed Portobello mushroom with Mac and “cheese” and parsley potatoes and my sister ordered the lemon-crusted “fish” steak with the Mac and a side of rice with capers. The mushroom was good and my sis enjoyed the fish steak, however, the Mac was way too salty. The potatoes were a bit undercooked. It’s possible we came on an off night and would probably come back if we’re in the neighborhood. Would we make a special trip up here just for Seasoned Vegan? No.
Loved this place! Exceptional service from Hillary to match the amazing dinner my daughter (not a Vegan or Vegetarian) & I had the pleasure of enjoying! She had a lemon crusted fish and I had the riblets. We shared the lemon crusted chicken nuggets and they were excellent!! Even if youre not a Vegan or Vegetarian I highly recommend dining here!!
The vibe is off. The music is very loud and the staff are not professional. We received our food in plastic containers!!! They said at a certain time they stop serving on real plates. The table next to us got their food on plates. We asked and were told that they are friends with the chef. We found that rude, unprofessional and not the most environmentally friendly option. The food is good but overpriced taking the staff and the bad service into consideration.
What was once my favorite restaurantTook a turn for the worstFood options are always an issue andWe lost the good vibes from dining inThis is so sad 😞As far as the ownersNo love lost to the staff, owners, and familyBut I really miss this placeLast handful of times were not so good I wish ya bounce back and are not contemp
HORRIBLE. BUGS IN THE LETTUCE.🤢🤮 Bland food. Non-black businesses make better Mac and cheese than this! It’s a globby sweet mess. How you gonna call yourself soul food and you make this hot over priced mess?! I can cook better vegan food. It’s all soy and fatty. Husband and I stomachache! Save your money and go to Uptown Veg or Jahlookova if you want something in Harlem or visit any of the other more worthwhile spots in the city. Would give 0 stars if possible. And the workers have stank attitudes with prune faces. A DISGRACE to the black community. Will warn my fellow vegans and broadway group to stay away.
Do you see the beauty in these dishes? I go back to this restaurant anytime Im visiting Harlem. The food is all vegan and beautifully plated. The meat substitutes are deceptive since it tastes so much like the real thing. From my carnivorous friends, they have even called their po boy and chicken parmesan Better than the real thing. Five stars for this Mother and sons gift to Harlem.
I had made a reservation as I was told that after a certain time walk-ins were not allowed but if I wanted to I can order from the kitchen area. Mind you online it states they close at 2am and I was there around 8PM. Apperantly my reservation was not made and therefore I could not dine-in as they were not taking anymore walk-ins. I had to find another vegan restaurant who did allow us to dine and did not disappoint. Maybe, Ill one day decide to go back but for now, I recommend everyone who goes here to make sure they are aware of the scheduling.
I didnt take pics of our food last night BUT we got the stuffed avocado as an appetizer. I ordered the BBQ Riblets entree with double sweet potato souffle because it was about an hour wait for the mac and cheese; Id say the riblets were different for me being that Id never ate lotus root before dont think Ill try it again but I recommend ppl try it, you might like it and the consistency really makes you think its meat! I got my daughter the chicken nuggets and seasoned fries, my daughter was not a fan of the nuggets (shes a carnivore) but my friend and I fell in LOVE with them. My friend got the smothered chicken with broccoli and sweet potato souffle, she said it was REALLY good, and gluten free because my friend has gluten sensitivity. We also got the Cider rosé option under beer since it is gluten free. I recommend this restaurant for any and everyone EVEN gluten sensitive folks. Its not what most think of when they think vegan. We were able to get an order of mac and cheese before we left and it WAS beyond words. Its a small place but the vibe is very chill, like when you go there youll feel welcomed. Great experience and I will be returning sooner than later. You wont regret it! Great food, great staff, great CHEF! Dont just take my word for it, go experience it yourself and make sure to review and show love. Ill add a pic of a chicken nugget I ate this morning, looks like REAL chicken.
I’ve only had food here via delivery, but omg it is so good! The macaroni and cheese was so delicious I had to call the restaurant to confirm it was really vegan. They probably think I’m nuts but I just couldn’t believe it. Also had the chickpea tuna sandwich on a baguette which was very flavorful and a good size serving.
Taste wise, as a vegan I doubted if it was real fish after every bite, the stars are because it was even more delicious than real fish. But the fish steak you get for $25 is BARELY the size of a side dish. It’s crazy, I’ve eaten in some of Manhattans most expensive vegan restaurants but at least I got my moneys worth. The place is worth the try if you’re into that, but otherwise go if you got a lot of money to spare on a barely filling side dish
Super friendly, kind, and just entirely awesome spot. Everything Ive ever gotten, from their riblets to their cookies, have been out of this world. I would 1000% bring any meat&potato person hear any day. Just wish the seating opened soon but everything in its own time I guess ♥️
I like burdock root but they done something wrong because has l left the restaurant l had diarrhea, sometimes when the cook, are not clean enough or poorly store the food and pretend that it is still edible or they do cross contamination, well l got sick, l am sure was because l hate at Seasoned vegan, because l had no food before, very sad experience
One of my favorite vegan restaurants. Excellent food and nice atmosphere. The vegan chicken parm sandwich is sooo tasty 😋 and So is the lemon crusted fish with the Mac and cheese and sweet potato soufflé. I go here for take out once a week. Can’t wait to dine in again after covid!
Well, that is the best vegan BBQ I have had to date. Well done, Seasoned Vegan. The BBQ Crawfish Sandwich on a pretzel bun is something I know Ill be craving over and over again. Ive never had anything like it and I myself am a seasoned vegan ;) The texture of the meat is firm without being rubbery - truly supple and juicy like seafood. The sauce is delicious and the pretzel bun is the icing on the cake. The lemon-crusted chicken tenders were also very good, but heed warning, they are very filling. I would better describe them as something between a chicken tender and a crab cake. Each one is very dense and more like a small fried crab cake patty than your typical chicken tender. Truly unique and very tasty. Get both the remoulade and the BBQ sauce for dipping. We also got the Harlem chopped sandwich, which was okay. It wasnt nearly as exciting as the BBQ Crawfish and we we wont be reordering it. It was fairly bland and was not the salty, tasty combo of burger and cheese we expected. Closer to a mild falafel. Our biggest regret is not being able to try the baked mac and cheese, which has been very well reviewed. We were ordering just before closing and they were out! Will write an update when we order AGAIN within the week for more BBQ Crawfish and mac and cheese.
This place is like heaven for my vegan friends! But also the food is so good that even meat lovers will enjoy it. There is something for everyone. I tried the raw lasagna and chicken nuggets. So good. My friends like the avocado and the Mac and cheese! The prices are okay. Not cheap but not expensive for New York. Also it is a Black owned business so come support it!
First of all i question some of these honest “reviews” i miss their prices/service/menu/basically quality of everything before COVID hit. theyre exploiting it for a fact. the prices are inflated even if u order in person and avoid third parties like postmates all for smaller portions and worsened food service/quality. the love seems to have disappeared they jus cooking to sell sadly
Delicious foods! I have taken a number of my friends to this restaurant and they are always so surprised and impressed on how delicious these vegan recipes are. My favorite of course are the chicken nuggets! Try the mac and cheese! I wish they would take orders on the phone for pick up instead of having to buy it on postmates!
The place had a nice vibe to it, dimmed lights, big windows, the floor was pretty cool with coins molded into it, the bathroom was clean, overall my experience was good my waitress was nice, except for the hostess in the beginning who overlooked the fact that I was the 1st standing waiting for someone to assist, coming over and jumping to assisting the Caucasian couple that had just walked in, I kind of felt bad a bit cause it was like I was invisible, and I didnt expect that from a black owned business I traveled out of way to support, but then again the hostess was also Caucasian, or maybe I looked too urban and less hipster-esh, either ways I spoke up, she apologized yadayadayada....bypassing, the food was good, loved the vegan Mac n cheese, fish and chicken nugget, the ice cream was also delicious, my date said it tasted like powder, but I couldnt tell.
This place vibes hard. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the ambiance is chic af, and the food...the food is so damn good. Do yourself a favor and start with the lemon crusted chicken nuggets, these took my taste buds on an exceptional ride. My entree was delicious, the wine was tasty, and upon recommendation we ended our meal with a praline cupcake paired with vanilla ice cream which was simply heavenly. I cant wait to come back and indulge next time Im in NYC.
I’ve been a devote vegetarian for 30 meat and by-product free years. So I’m always on the look out for good vegetarian or vegan eateries. Thus, I was delighted to find Seasoned Vegan…and in Harlem ?! Joy, joy, happy, happy, joy, joy. Soooo, the food was delicious. BUT - could you guys pls put some food on the plate for a sista? I was truly disappointed on the skimpy portions. That seems to be a problem with black owned restaurants…they give you small portions but want to charge astronomical prices! Sigh. Sad. I’m sure when they (the cook or owner) sit down to feast that their plate is “full,” and does NOT mirror the amount they give to their customers. Will I go back? Not really sure.
Went there for the first time and since I never tried Vegan food, I said “sure why not!?”Their food is amazing. I had their Lemon Crusted “Fish” Steak... delicious! Mac and “Cheese” was good and well as their Sweet Potato Soufflé. My friend had the BBQ “Riblets”, also delicious. I only wish they had outdoor dining. But overall, I will be back again.
I usually I enjoy their food but this time my Chick’N Parm and Mac n Cheese was not the greatest. My sandwich was extremely wet and Chick’N was different from what I had last time! It was gummy with no flavor! Regarding my Mac n cheese, it had a off taste …like it was Microwave. Plus, the container it came with was melting. It wasn’t in proper container for hot food. 😳Hopefully Next time I visit its better but this time it was disappointing.
My wife and I joined my inlaws for brunch here today. We enjoyed our meals very much, the service was accompanied with friendly smiles and the price was more than fair. I like that the menu has integrity, for example they dont serve coffee. I love coffee but prefer honesty. Each of us had something different; we all enjoyed what we ordered. If you are vegan or want to treat someone who is, Seasoned Vegan is a good choice.
Very poor quality as well as portion size. Paid extra for Mac and cheese that tastes like it’s out of a box. $13-$16 “sandwiches” that leave you unsatisfied and hungry. The chopped cheese had no cheese or ketchup on it, and was so smothered in vegan mayo you couldn’t taste anything else. If you’re going to charge a higher price for a sandwich with no side included, at least make it taste decent.
Very please with the food and service. The chicken nuggets, crayfish, and mac n cheese were great. The staff was super helpful with my 4 year old daughter even when she was running around too much. Ice cream was very surprisingly good and creamy since vegan ice cream usually is not creamy. Would definitely go back. Also very happy that it is kosher.
My pardons about 1 star review it was a fat finger mistake. The Seasoned Vegan is a very nice restaurant with great food which I would recommend to anyone. It is a little bit Trendy but in all it is a great place to eat. It is a small and cozy place and tends to be full at night so at times there is a wait but I have been pretty lucky with that. The chef is great and waiters and waitresses are very good. Take some time to visit.
Food was amazing. Even someone not vegan will be impressed by the food! The “fish steak” was delicious. Flavors will definitely give you something to talk about at the table. Shout out to our waiter Brad who was so friendly and attentive. Definitely going back with friends next time.
One of the most extensive vegan menus, and all the items were jam packed with flavour. The service was A plus, and the portions were quite large for the price. Should also mention that the owner genuinely cares about the customer experience and quality of food, ensuring we had a great culinary experience. With passion like his, I’m sure this restaurant will go a long way.All in all, we loved the vibe of Seasoned Vegan. If you are looking for filling and flavourful comfort food, this is the place to go!!For sure, would recommend to both vegans and non vegans visiting New York
Food is amazing. Amazing! You won’t believe this is vegan food. I had the vegan Mac cheese - amazing, the sautéed broccoli - amazing & the lemon “fish” steak - amazing! Unfortunately I live 2 hrs away in Philly so I can’t get there as often as I would like. Please open a spot in Philly or south jersey we would greatly appreciate it. Oh & I forgot to add: the service was great. My server was pleasant, attentive & quick. We wanted for nothing, she was right on it with refills and whatever else we wanted.
Ordered two chopped cheese sandwiches... asked for ketchup, and the cashier hands me one. I ask for more and her response is “I gave you that one free, additional is $1.50 each one”. Bad enough the sandwich is more like half a sandwich for $13 with no side what so ever. $1.50 for conventional ketchup, not even organic. They lost their minds. Food is decent at best and they wanna charge crazy and can’t even give one ketchup per sandwich. Foh. To top it all off.... got home to find out my chopped cheeses don’t even have cheese on them!!!
I went on a Saturday night for the late night menu and he food was so good! I had the chicken parmigiana sandwich, Tuna uh sandwich and seasoned fries. It was so so so good! All of it. I did wish the bread was wheat bread instead of white and I didn’t like the ketchup that came with the fries. It tasted funny... it the fries were awesome without the ketchup. There was a DJ there playing some really old music. This spot is definitely good for date night!
The food was... Good. But its Not really healthy. If youre vegan and you want to have a cheat day , this is the place to go. Or if youre newly vegan, or just want to try it out, this is a good place. It was good, but a little too much salt/seasoning. Left me feeling bloated. The staff werent too friendly either. They need better customer service. This place is also TINY. Not a bad place, but Ive had better vegan food. Sometimes less is more.*i would recommend the sweat potato pancakes and the mac and cheese. Both really good!!
Seasoned Vegan is pretty good!Came here for a late weekend lunch and there was a little bit of a wait but not too bad - maybe 15 minutes? The host will text you and hold the table for 10 minutes so you don’t have to wait inside the restaurant if you don’t feel like it.Staff was friendly and the food was tasty! One downside is that I was excited to try to Mac n cheese but they were already sold out of it (plus a few other items) around 3pm. I’m not sure if that’s typical for a weekend but if there’s a side dish you’re really excited to try then maybe come earlier in the day to be safe.
Sunday Brunch for two. 45min to be seated and over 30 closer to 40min to get our appetizers. Growing impatient of course, we start to see tables seated after us get served their appetizers before us. At this point Im ready to leave. Our server didnt check back in on us for 25min which didnt help. Although, two other servers stopped by to see if we placed an order and offered to check on our orders. If it wasnt for the other to servers, we wouldve left the restaurant. We were later advised that the kitchen was backed up. Understandable. But... why wasnt that communicated to the front of house? If so, why didnt our server advise us of the delay in service?I would still return as the food was delicious. The staff was very informative about the food popularity and they offered suggestions for new comers etc.
When I first came in to order, I was not greeted and had to continually call for someone until I rang the bell for a young woman to take my order. When the young lady finally came up to take my order, she did not have a mask on and was continuously texting in between taking my order. She was not hospitable nor interested in servicing me. She allowed other people to come in without masks as well as moved the barrier around to speak with a person on the other side. At the time I placed my order (8:01pm) I was told that my order would only take 10nmimuted to be ready. Im writing this review at 8:31pm with no food Im sight and no assistance from the hostess in hastening my order along. When I went to inquire about my order, it became horribly apparent that no worker in sight of customers was wearing a mask while preparing the food. On my third inquiry about my food, the hostess then gave me an attitude to walk into the back only to advised from the back that the order was already with her. I also had to go back because there were missing items. The food is amazing, but because of the service, I dont think it is work a second time.
I took my husband Daniel to Seasoned Vegan to celebrate his birthday. He ordered the Smothered Chicken with Mac n Cheese. Although he was not too excited about the chicken the mac n cheese and collard greens, he loved. I had the lemon crusted fish steak with mac n cheese and collard greens and I loved every bite. It was not too expensive either. They need to expand their beverage list though. At the moment they have beer and wine which I don’t drink and they have a selection of apple juice and orange juice. I chose apple juice which was great. It reminded me of Thanksgiving with a hint of cinnamon or was it nutmeg. Whatever it was it was good! The staff was great. We will definitely be going back. There are a few others things that I would like to try like the stuffed avocado.
One of my favorite vegan restaurants!!! My husband is not a vegan and he loves it as well! The menu is awesome in terms of the variety, and everything on the menu is delicious!!! Each time we’ve been there, we try something different. My only wish is that Seasoned Vegan had a location somewhere in NJ as well as Harlem, NY.
The location is near the 2/3 train which is perfect for me. I stopped by to take out food after work. I got the 8 piece nuggets and a glass of wine. The nuggets were so filling I actually placed them on sandwich bread used them for lunch for the next three days! Totally worth the price. The place is small but the food is exquisite. I cannot wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!
What a lovely place! Food was delicious, staff were really nice, ambience was lovely. The avocados I had were to die for! Not a corporate outlet, nice independent, people clearly like working there, work hard but are not fake deferential (I am from the UK, not too used to full on US customer service) just friendly and nice, felt very much at ease. Vegan but not up itself in any way, so pleased to have found it on my doorstep. Would definitely recommend!
We came from out of state and brought 12 people with us for my daughter’s birthday. Everyone at Season Vegan was very helpful and accommodating. My family travels full time and we’ve eaten at every vegan restaurant from one end of this country to the other and Seasoned Vegan’s food is incredible. We loved this place and it’s wonderful to enter a restaurant that regaurds the costumer experience so highly. You’ll love the atmosphere, the people, and the food.

What a great restaurant! The food and service were fantastic! Everyone was so nice and welcoming. The food was delicious! We had the sushi for an appetizer and we both shared a raw burger and a hummus/vegetable wrap. It was plated well but more importantly it tasted great! We each had a cookie for dessert. Before we received them we were treated to sample their raspberry lemonade. Excellent! The cookie was large and I took 3/4 of it home. My husband ate it all. As far as cost, I was shocked at how inexpensive the meal was. I believe our bill was less than $45. To me, for raw and vegan food, the overall rating was simply excellent. Great job seasoned vegan!
By far one of the greatest vegan meals I’ve had. Ordered the lemon “fish” steak and it actually had the texture of fish and was out of this world. Happened to be sitting next to the manager and I told him it was my first time there so he had them bring over a small sample plate with their vegan crawfish and mac and cheese. Everything was outstanding and the service was great. Would ABSOLUTELY go back again (and I think I might tomorrow night)!
The food was good, but the waiter took a good while to get to us even though its a small place. I ordered a burger which they ran out of in just a few hours after opening, a burger that Im sure is not the main item on the menu. The other thing I didnt like about it was that the sandwiches did not come with a side. Who has a burger without chips or something! That being said, I liked the food and if you are a vegan -which Im not- and you are craving some soulfood, go check them out
Love their menu but service is a bit slow which can be frustrating when youre in a rush. I visit about once a month and usually give myself at least an hour to dine in since service is a bit slow. Staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable of the menu. I love going to Seasoned Vegan for delicious southern comfort vegan food.
Food was good, not great, but good. The inattentiveness of the staff was quite upsetting. Long wait to have order taken when already seated, and another long wait to get the actual food. It took a waitress 10 minutes to get back to our table to clean up ketchup she spilled when bringing out our food, with no apology!I tried this place a second time hoping that my initial experience was just a fluke, but alas, it was not.For me, the quality of food is as equally important as the attentiveness of the staff. Wish I could love this place, but it just doesn’t cut it.
The best mac and cheese you will ever put in your mouth. The place pretty much ruined every other vegan place for me because the food is so good. Everyone is super nice and accommodating. This establishment is is prime for vegan food. Once you eat here, everywhere else will pale in comparison
My favourite vegan restaurant in New York! It may not look like much from the outside but it was quite busy once we got inside. However, the staff was really friendly and efficient and we quickly got a table. We ordered the quesadilla, the “cheeseburger” and a red velvet cupcake upon the waitress’ recommendation. The dishes came after a short wait and everything was so delicious! Even my mom who isn’t vegan enjoyed this place more than the others. Affordable, tasty and great service!
Make sure you book an appointment. Place is small and very popular so without an appointment you might get stuck waiting a while. Food was good, best thing I had there was their chicken nuggets. Best vegan chicken I ever had!! Other dishes I tried there have also been good but everything seems to bit a little bit on the saltier side. But other than that the place and employees are great and speedy service and everyone I have ever dealt with here has been very pleasant! Good sense of community.
In my experience I was Very satisfied with the service. Our first time trying out this restaurant and I will most definitely come back and try more. They made me and my family feel so welcomed and all the staff were so friendly. The food was great!! They did a Happy Birthday song for my daughter and was so beautiful filled with all smiles. The cheesecake was very delicious better than a regular one I would say. Overal, This vegan restaurant has well earned this rating :) !- Kathy.November 26, 2017.
I kept hearing how great this place was so I had to try it. Very small but cozy. Waitress was very friendly. Food was AMAZING. I got the BBQ “ribs” with Mac and cheese and fries. I’d never had vegan Mac and cheese before and that was outright the best Mac and cheese I’ve ever had. So good I swear you couldn’t even tell the difference. We got an ice cream sandwhich and cupcakes for desert. So. Good. And best of all, it wasn’t crazy expensive. Definitely going to be going back and trying everything on the menu. To the owner, please open more locations.
Amazing food. Amazing ambiance. Amazing experience. This was my second time dinning at Seasoned Vegan and it was amazing! There was a bit of a wait but in all honesty the food is well worth the wait. I had the BBQ crawfish sandwich with fries and it was literally LIFE. Thank you so much a beautiful meal to go with my beautiful weekend.
I have been a customer of Seasoned Vegan since the establishment first opened a few years ago, and I must say I am Sooooo proud to see how this Eatery has evolved.I really like the food at Seasoned Vegan; I find everything to be really good.Although many of the portions are small and some of the dishes I feel over priced, (sometimes I have to order additional items inorder to feel satiated), I REALLY enjoy going there! Its not unusual to observe just how quickly the Restaurant can become crowded, to the point that people are lined up outside the door waitingto get in.The food is always freshly prepared and I enjoy watching the staff move around in the small and hectic environment, interacting so very professionally and amicably with one another and treating the customers like Valued Patrons. For Me, aside from the Enjoyable Food it is the Wonderful Ambiance and the Great Staff that has contributed to Me rating Seasoned VeganFive Stars.*****
Ok, the food here is delicious. HOWEVER, the only reason I simply will not come back is the food portions and prices. I ordered the mac and cheese with fried chicken and it took me about 5 bites to finish. Plus it was 15 dollars. I know its NYC but please im begging you Seasoned Vegan make a bigger portion but this is simply just a disappointment as it stands now. Dont recommend here if youre really hungry and want a meal. Wouldnt even consider this half a meal.
Very friendly staff, and the food there was really good. My first time in a vegan restaurant, and it was a great experience. I had BBQ Crawfish sandwich and it was absolutely amazing! It was also a popular restaurant, because at 5pm (opening time) sharp, there was already a line. Definitely recommend it!
We were greeted warmly at the door, there was an hour wait, the server was friendly made great suggestions. The appetizers were tasty, main course was scrumtious and the ambiance was fantastic. Its great to have a restaurant that caters to healthy tasty food. Warm and welcoming family atmosphere. Seasoned Vegan comes highly recommended.
Probably the best vegan place Ive been to. This place serves vegan soul food and its amazing. They served us water that comes in a glass bottle that we pour into our glasss. The fish here taste exactly fish and the chopped cheese taste exactly like meat. And the wine was absolutely amazing. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They explained exactly how they made their food, and the different way you can get it. Definitely recommend coming here, its a must try.
I thought at first it was overpriced but no its not since all the products are organic but its hard to believe the faux meats are organic. The garlic & basil faux meat was good but the sweet potato souffle and greens were not good as well as the food barely being warm. Very crowded which is good for business but not good for customers waiting with a line almost out the door. The waitress that assisted me was friendly, knowledgeable of the food & helpful, although I didnt agree with her taste buds of all the food being good. :/ 2 & 1/2 stars but just rounded to 3.
I really enjoy the food here. Tasty, full of flavor, and also very healthy. I even take non vegan/vegetarians folks here who absolutely love the food. They say you cant tell that these items are not real meat. I recommend this restaurant. Keep in mind the place is small, but the food makes up for the space limit.
My friends and I were very excited to try this place. We are always looking for good vegan food. We ordered our food and as time went by we started to realize that people who came in after us were eating and some finished with their food. Then we realized its been an hour so we inquired about our food. The server informed us its almost out. We then waited another 30 minutes to get our drinks and then food (which at this point we asked it to be packed). We were told that we would get a discount. When we finally received our checks, no discount. We asked why we were paying full price after being there for an hour and half and being informed of a discount. The staff then proceeded to call the manager for 15 minutes and finally gave us a discounted check. BUT there is more, we checked our bank statements and we were still charged FULL PRICE. This is unacceptable, we all worked in food industries before and were trying to be understanding, I even left a tip on the basis that they gave me a discount but they didnt. The food was good, but after dealing with all of that its hard to say it was worth it.
Amazing vegan food. The vegan mac and cheese is almost indistinguishable from the regular version. I tried a few of the different dishes and they were consistently great. They paid very close attention to allergies but besides that the service was not the best; passable and friendly, but could be improved.
I was skeptical, but Seasoned Vegan absolutely blew my mind!!! Id love to see the owners expand their business!!! Harlem has a jewel!Edit: Please turn the music down inside so that the person taking orders can get it right. Traveling over 500 miles to eat at your establishment multiple times a year is typically a treat, but not so much when you get back to your hotel in Manhattan and realize your order is wrong.
Love this place. Food is really good! Love the mac and cheese and the brunch pancakes! Delicious!! Service can improve especially when the guests are excited about the restaurant. Our server had zero personality and when asked if they had seltzer water she dryly repeated no soda, we dont serve soda ok just wanted carbonated water but ok. And she never came back to ask how we were doing. Everyone else was professional and pleasant. Other than that one person I had a great experience. I will be returning and hopefully the no soda server wont be there that day.
I dont often write reviews, but this restaurant just became one of my favorites. The food is fantastic, very filling and well-made. We sat at the bar and the bartender/waitress was lovely. She was quick to give us anything we needed (and samples of things that we didnt even ask for). The atmosphere is laid back and friendly but not so much so that we didnt have prompt service. I would recommend this to anyone who will listen.
Amazing spot just north of the Park.Food: Despite not being vegan, I will freely admit that the vegan poboy I ate at Seasoned Vegan was the single best poboy sandwich that has ever crossed my lips. The meat substitutes were convincing and the sauce was absolutely divine--I wiped up every drop that spilled out of the sandwich with my fries. It was that good. The fries were spectacular and the collard greens were nice. My dining partner had the chicken entree with sweet potato souffle and collards. Again the meat was very convincing, the flavours were fantastic, and the sweet potato souffle was melt in your mouth perfection.Atmosphere: Beautiful space with a hand tiled floor tiled with old pennies. The walls are papered with paper bags but you would never guess. Add the beautiful swirled coloured glass vases in the windows and its all the best kinds of quirky, tasteful pastiche.Service: Though the system for putting your name in for a table is a bit off (we were told it would be 35-40min but then received the text to return within 5min only 10min later but ultimately were not seated until ~15min after the text), the staff were all welcoming, warm, and friendly. The management is very attentive and engaged and the servers were quick, accurate, and pleasant.Overall a great experience.
Food was delicious, however way too overpriced for the portions and quality. The broccoli I had was mushy and was probably frozen, the mac and cheese was great but the portion was smaller than my hand and I got like 5 little pieces of their rib tips. Also we had to chase down the red headed waitress for our check while she was at the bar on her phone. This place has a lot of potential, they just need to hire new people and change their prices.
Usually when you go out to restaurants you pay high prices for the service. The prices here are more than reasonable, the food is high quality and the service is unparalleled!I come from a background of customer service and hospitality so certain things stood out right away.1. We were greeted by the host and given a choice in seating (instead of going to the next available section).2. The server introduced herself by first name (while the food/drink runner served us cold water) and knew the daily specials off top. She was also very pleasant and professionally playful in nature.3. Knowledge of the menu and ingredients was excellent!4. Wait time was more than reasonable.5. We were checked on frequently throughout our courses, just enough not to be a bother. You could tell she cared about our satisfaction with the meal.6. Shipping to the end (because I can go on and on about a number of things), the manager came over, introduced himself and asked about the quality of service while wishing us a fond farewell.Definitely coming back and recommending this restaurant to others! Wish I could give this place 6 stars!
It truly was what i expected and more. I met the owner who spent time in providing me with his family vegan history..I am from upstate NY..whenever i travel down to the city i will revisit. The pull pork, hamburger, mac and cheese was awesomely tasty. The almond chocolate chip cookie was delicious. I sat and waited for my food while i ate two of them...The staff was extremely knowledgeable about the ingredients.
Pretty damn good vegan food in my opinion, my girlfriend absolutely loved it and we will be back. Small downsides: portion sizes (Im a big eater), and sometimes a long wait, but these are things largely outside of the restaurants control. Keep doing what you guys are doing!
Couldnt believe it was vegan!! The first bite into the crawfish sandwich and I couldnt believe myself, that this was not crawfish! Absolutely amazing, the only reason I didnt give it a 5 star is because even though that this food was amazing, it was a bit greasy and the food that was packed was leaking through the container..
The place is very romantic, not to crowded. Food was amazingly good. All vegan options and they do their best to accommodate your palate. The only thing I dont like is that in the evening they choose wasteful to go containers to serve you whether you are dinning in or leaving.
I came here in search of their po’boy sandwich. It was the night before Thanksgiving, and I was unaware of the promotion they were doing. It was give a donation and receive a to go container filled with savory yet friendly food. It took me too long to understand, because I had a blank moment (sorry to the staff) but I’m very glad I purchased food from because the meal was absolutely amazing, you could easily feed it to friends who are carnivorous and they would never know. Seriously phenomenal flavor, texture, and look. Thank you so much
Delicious vegan food...with a soul food slant! Enjoyed equally by the vegetarian and non-vegetarian in our party!Very generous portions, sides are excellent, we were too full to try dessert! Next time! Atmosphere very relaxing...great place to go with friends when you actually want to be able to hear each other talk. Wonderful wait staff, well informed, attentive, friendly and helpful. Well be back!
Vegan restaurant in Harlem. They have items mimicking meat dishes (BBQ, Fish, etc) as well as traditional burritos/wraps, sandwiches, all of which can have vegan-meats added in. Entree is about 17-19$/person and is enough for an average person. The taste was on point - Ive never had meat so cant verify that it tastes like it, but the food was flavorful and delicious. One of my sides was sweet potatoe souffle, which was really sweet - I guess thats to be expected but the other times were perfect. Staff was nice as well. Would come back here again if given the chance.
I went to Seasoned vegan on 7/1/17 for my birthday and I must say the food was freaking amazing as well as the service. I waited a whole year to go to this spot. It definitely lives up to the name, food was perfectly seasoned and mouth watering delicious!! My boyfriend loved it so much, he ordered 2 different meals for himself while we were there! We will definitely be back.
The food is absolutely amazing. Ive been there on more than one ocassion and even dragged my boyfriend with me(he isnt vegan) he loved it!!!! The atmosphere is nice and the pricing isnt at all outrageous. You get good food portions and the staff is really friendly. You should also try the wine!!!!!
The food was ok.. Chicken &Waffles: the pancakes werent flavorful and neither was the syrup. The chicken was ok.. separate they taste less than average eating them together they taste average (over priced) the burrito was really yummy (they didnt lost that there was rice in the burrito which I find annoying (they listed all the other ingredients) Im doing low carbs at the moment but it was yummy.. the baked cheese cake was ok, Ive baked a better version... customer service was a little less than average (the staff werent that friendly and only 1 or 2 of them smiled) overall I wont go back.
Was looking for a good vegetarian spot while in Harlem and came across this spot and what a find. Had BBQ, fried fake fish, and some really interesting friend fake chicken. There was some mashed sweet potato or something my partner ordered which was great and even doubled as a dip for the chicken.
The food was fantastic! The staff were very kind and helpful even though the place was clearly very busy, and the food was delicious and came in a timely manner. I tried the berry lemonade and the cheeseburger -- both were perfect and the praline ice cream was to die for! Will definitely be coming back.
First off Im not vegan or vegetarian. I stopped in (by way of NJ) with friends to get something quick to go. The staff behind the counter were very friendly on 2-10-2018. I must say when I got back home & tried the raw lasagna & peach cobbler they were delicious. I gave 4 stars because the place is very small, the cookie I bought was heavy with oil that left an after taste & the host didnt seem to have control of the incoming guests. I would definitely go to eat in next time & try something new.
This was so good. I came here for brunch and ordered friend chicken and sweet potato pancakes. Service was pretty prompt, the atmosphere is cozy and not so loud you cant talk to your friends, and the price is super reasonable. My friends loved their food too (crawfish, a chicken sandwich with avocado) and I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to just about anyone!
I only had the vegan chicken nuggets so far, but Oh my gosh!!! First, I swear I thought I was eating real chicken. Not even the vegan chicken in the supermarkets have anything on their (vegan) chicken. It was sooooo good.Second it was bursting with flavor and the right seasonings. I cant wait to go back and try their other items on the menu bc they messed up our to go order so we didnt get everything we ordered but at least we were not charged for it. However these people are on to something.
Went here for the first time last Friday evening with 2 friends. It was our first time all going there, so wasnt sure what to expect, we have just heard good things from other people. As a vegan, i was sooooo skeptical, because I dont like trying new vegan places, but i must say the food here is AMAZING! I ordered the fish, with a side of rice and mac and cheese and an extra Broccoli. WOW oh WOW! so much flavor, the fish tasted like fish. The waiter Brad was very accommodating, very good service from him. I will definitely will be coming back here, would recommend this place for sure!
The 1st time I tried this restaurant the food was so good. We even ordered to-go a couple times when we couldnt make it to sit down. However, this most recent experience unfortunately wont have me coming back. We waited an hour for our food to come out and had to wave down a waitress to see why the wait was so long. Meanwhile, customers that came in after us were getting their food before us. The food wasnt up to the same expectations we had before. My grandmothers dish even came out cold. Very dissatisfied.
We had an amazing server named Olivia who started off by putting up with how picky we were and explaining everything on the menu to us, and finished off being amazing by literally sprinting down the street to give me my debit card back. I am from New Hampshire and I would have been so upset if I left it there. She was amazing. Best server Ive ever had. And the the food was really good, and I am not vegan. The whole experience was so worth it that I want to come back to New York just to come here.
The food was REALLY good here and the portions were great sized I thought. We got the Nefertiti Salad which was amazing and had delicious tortilla strips and a really good dressing. We also got the Black Pepper Steak with the Mac and cheese and the broccoli and all of them were delicious and it was a lot of food! Definitely reccomend this to everyone!
First time at this place last night. A Saturday night. Music was on point. But the food was even better. I’m not vegan but my wife is so I try to eat healthy time to time. She ordered the burger I ordered the chicken parm... needless to say both were amazing Good food, cool staff, trendy set up. We’ll be back for sure. Thanks guys.
Me, my girlfriend, her mom, and her friend were there for our first time last evening. The food was super delicious and the aesthetic was very chilled and pleasing. The staff there were also very nice and polite and went out there way to provide exceptional service. Id recommend them a million times over.
We got seated (to put in perspective, there was only 3 tables seated when we got there) and ordered, and patiently waited for our food. We slowly realized other tables around us who got here after us were getting their food first. After an hour of patiently waiting (we did not complain about the wait since it started getting pretty busy), we then asked the waitress, who did not check up on us once after we ordered, how much longer our food might be. She then said “oh we lost your order” and then said we had to put in our order again. After wasting an hour there, we left without eating. It was such a shame since we were looking forward to it. This place needs to work on their customer service.
Loved everything about this restaurant! The staff was awesome and the food was amazing. It surpassed my expectations in every way. Every dish was seasoned perfectly. They make their own fresh smoothies and do not sell any of the processed juices or sodas like every other restaurant which is a plus. Id recommend the red chicken with roasted tomatoes and red peppers, mac and cheese, any of the sides, and and their desserts are really good as well. The only slight downside is the menu constantly changes so if you like something today, chances are it will not be there next week.
Love, Love, Love this place. We usually order for a free delivery at home, so we dont experience the service issues others have written about. However, whens we are there, service may be slow at times, due to few staff and so many customers, but the staff are always great to us. Weve come to know the owners (mother and son team) who are there all the time.Desserts are amazing. No processed sugars that vegan places often resort to rather than focusing on the health aspect of the foods/desserts they are serving.I gave it 4 stars because: Its not as kid friendly as I would like (no crayons/place mates to color), but my son finds a way to entertain himself. Also, there is A Lot of Soy being used and this is not there are son many other vegan options in the world that dont involve this inflammatory and estrogen rich food. Id love to see them explore more used of the Burdock root I love so much from there.
Horrible service with hardly mediocre food.Messed up so many things and Chantel (the waitress) was fast to catch an attitude. Gave away my food by accident and didn’t even admit the mistake. Tried to blame it on us. Put me in a terrible mood didn’t eat the entree. Then she gave back the wrong entree wrong check. And I made it obvious that I wasn’t happy with service or food and all was normal as if they were doing great.Shameful. Had high expectations. Food that I did try was hardly anything impressive. Mac and cheese nothing more than any nasty instant Mac and cheese from your bodega.I won’t be going back there ever again.
Amazing food! Really the best Ive ever had! And I love that its healthy, vegan, organic and some raw choices too. The servers were nice and the music was pleasant. Great for brunch or any time. I would give 100 stars if I could to support this great place. I will be back!
We got takeout for the ride home. It isnt really too pricey for Manhattan, but regardless, the Harlem Chopped Cheeseburger was an experience that will make me return. We also had Chickn Parmesan Sandwiches, which were almost too much like chicken, but without the meat aftertaste. We ordered and paid online with no hassle, so, good interface. We look forward to dining in next time.
Nice, cozy spot. Vegan menu. Everything is made from fermented soy. I dont eat soy. I ordered the burrito which was made with black beans. I had the mac and cheese. It was ok. Ive definitely had much much better. And I had the sweet potato pudding. It was delicious. Theres a bar. So, they serve drinks. There was a 45 wait.
This is an all vegan place. They do have specials. The interior has warm ambiance.I came here for dinner on a Sunday evening. If you come late, they will run out of some of the appetizers. We wanted the stuffed avocado but they were out. I ordered the nuggets comes with two sauces. The nuggets hace very good seasoning.Entrees ordered: special of day - BBQ riblets, sweet potato, collard greensFish stake Mac cheese, friesThe food was very good, but felt very heavy after the meal. They had flowers by the window but they are fake.I would go back by would skip the fried items and try the raw items. I feel very heavy after the meal. Our hostess was standoffish and not very friendly. The other hostess seemed more friendly.
Love this place!! I think this is my favorite vegan restaurant so far. Their mac and cheese is the best vegan mac and cheese Ive ever had!! Loved their curly fries and their sangria. They had their own version of sangria with some cinnamon notes and I enjoyed the different taste. The place was full when we got there and it seemed like there was only one waiter. But he was very sweet and patient. Definitely coming back!
I wanted to go here for my birthday. I got the garlic and basil crawfish, beet and cucumber with cashew cheese and the stuffed avocado. I rated this 3 stars for a few reasons, 1- after singing other patrons happy birthday, they neglected to do the same for me, knowing I was celebrating , 2 Mac and cheese was cold, 3- the crawfish was just okay, not seasoned much. The two appetizers were good and the stuffed avocado was AMAZING. I felt the waitress was slightly rude. If I went back again I would try the veggie wrap. Also note, its very hot in the restaurant which makes dining uncomfortable.
Delicious and friendly vegan place! Highlights are the mac & cheese, collard greens and milkshakes. Everything Ive tried is tasty. Chairs are actually comfortable, unlike many restaurants. There is a single all gender restroom. Unfortunately there is a step in front so it is not wheelchair accessible.

2022-02-03Great spot with some amazing vegan food. The vegan chicken nuggets are probably the best chicken nuggets Ive ever had, even compared to meat options. They just have so much flavor! The staff are very nice as well. I wish I discovered this place before the pandemic so I could experience this place while dining in.

2022-05-29This was a great little find after a long day! The po boy sandwich was really flavorful - the bread to filling ratio was perfect! the mac and cheese didnt disappoint either. Will definitely be back next time Im in the city.

2020-05-06Great and amazing flavors!!! Wether you’re plant based or not you will love the food here. We came in during the COVID19 pandemic so had to get the orders to go. I recommend the po boy sandwich that has lots of Louisiana style seasonings. Took a little longer than expected, which isn’t a bad thing. Must mean that they were getting lots of orders. The price was a little but more than what we were expecting to pay for the portion sizes. No complaints. Would come back to try the food and check out the atmosphere next time! 😊

2019-05-25Really good food here! We tried as much as we could and it was all solidly tasty! Everything from the chicken nuggets to shrimp and crab have unique flavorings and the sides (looking at you Mac an Cheese) are delicious. Po Boy Sandwich was great though I prefered the crab over the shrimp. Deserts are good. Especially the unique 🍪!

2019-04-06The food was really phenomenal. Seasoned to perfection. Had a great waiter. Only downside was we waited a really long time for our food and my entree came first and my dates entree came almost 20 min after mine. However we both felt the meal was totally worth the wait. This is a place a meat eater could truly appreciate.

2019-12-01I love this spot. The vibe is always awesome. I have been on several occasions and the food is always amazing.Their sangria is the best. Try it.I have brought carnivores to this spot who have been pleasantly surprised. I have never had a meal I didnt love. I think I love raw vegan cheesecake more than the real thing.

2020-02-01Absolutely delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and down to earth, the food was amazing for my first time at a Vegan restaurant, and the atmosphere was perfect for whatever the occasion may be. The sauteed spinach and broccoli were off the chain and I enjoyed my sweet chili chicken. I also got to taste the portobello mushrooms and that was also really good. I would come back again next time I visit the city.

2019-06-17I have been to Seasoned Vegan on a number of occasions and I have generally been pretty happy with the food offerings. As a carnivore, I have to say that a lot of their food closely resembles meat options and it is generally packed with flavor.I’ve had the fish (which has been one of my favorite dishes of theirs - it is amazing how closely the texture resembles fish), the pancakes (which I found to be a little dry), the chicken nuggets (which could almost fool people into thinking they are real chicken nuggets), and the riblets. The service is consistently good at the restaurant, the prices are decent, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. If you have non-vegan friends or family members that you want to try vegan food, definitely have them try this restaurant!
