2020-11-09Really beautiful refuge. The trails are on the outskirts. Nice. The beach at the end is for the town but the environmental center on the other side of the road is worth checking out and has trails as well. Totally worth it.

2022-05-03Old estate built in 1917. Famous architect. Closed for Covid but grounds are open. Great for schools and birdwatchers. Owned by Suffolk County. Free admission.

2016-04-29One of the coolest places on the south shore. Serious environmentalists who know how to have fun, on over 70 acres of natural land, with a restored old mansion rich in history. The Suburban Brothers Band has been playing live music there at all sorts of events for years, including the annual Eco-Carnival.

2018-01-09Well groomed trails, meandering through beautiful bayside marshes. Inside their gorgeous facilities, there is a wonderful educational component that fully fleshes out this institution, and will serve to educate upcoming generations as to the importance of understanding our natural environment.

2019-11-27Went when it was 30 degrees with an environmental group. The house was beautiful and the grounds were nice albeit cold. Cant wait to go back in the spring and summer.
