Their cocktails are amazing! Their Lychee Martini is so well made, and well balanced (a lot of places don’t get it right).Been there twice, and one time I went they offered a happy hour menu, food is okay.I do love the decor of this place they have this see through glass walkway with shells and rocks and water, the at sea vibes from the place are outstanding. Whoever designed the place really thought it out, from the menus to the chairs and napkins everything was well thought out.Service was also great!Recently tried to go but they weren’t offer alcohol at the time, not sure if that changed, but whenever we are able to sit inside again I’d love to return for a drink at their bar.
Lets be honest . We go out to eat and drink.. soooo.. service was ok but that bartender/waiter needs to retained, as dude is nice but clumsy and forgetful. The food was just ok and not bad but takes too long to cook. The mushroom sauce on the steak could have had some flavor but I corrected it with salt and pepper.. the lemon chicken was good but dry.. The mashed potatoes were good as well as the caesar salad. Bill.. two people, one appetizer, four beers, and four red wines... $168..with tip.
It was our first time at Seawalk and at the beginning we were a bit disappointed because of the wait, but the Manager explained to us what was the cause of the delay. Otherwise we had a fantastic time. Great ambiance, beautiful restaurant, friendly and attentive crew and delicious food of course. By the way their grapefruit signature beer is delicious. I dont enjoy beer but this one I surely did. I would highly recommend this place and plan on returning very soon.
I was excited to try this new restaurant because their Instagram pics looked amazing before they opened. The best thing about it for me were the oysters and the decor, the aquarium walkway. The service was attentative and quick and it was not very busy. Their menu is very limited and the entrees are a bit lack luster. The burger is very salty (dry aged) and the fries were almost burned. The lobster was undercooked and chewy, came cold twice, even after they heated it for me again - the butter inside was pasty and solid upon first bite. That was the most disappointing thing because this is a seafood themed restaurant.
This place got a lot of potential to be the BEST, just the location itself is perfect! But the bad thing about this restaurant is that the service is really bad! We came there yesterday and we were sooo excited! But we were confused to where to go, because no one working there was so attentive enough to assist the customers coming and making sure that they are having a great experience. They just keep looking at you and ignoring you then come back after 15 mins just to ask you if we are going to eat. One server was so rude and unprofessional. Food was not the best! The price was not worth it. I know they can do much better than that but I am not sure why they dont do something about it? I just feel sad about the potential of that place and they dont care to pay attention of every smalldetails to make it the best. Wish the management will do something about the service and the food quality.
I was lucky enough to be served by Paula. Exceptional service! Got us water while waiting and was very direct in tailoring a great solution by asking questions about my drink preferences. She was efficent and timely between tables as well as polite and funny. The drinks were great and the atmosphere was funky I have already agreed we had to come back. The food also looked great and we enjoyed som decent nachos.See you soon.Thank you Paula and Senor frogs!
Very nice decor and ambiance. Waiter was very friendly and welcoming. My only complaint would be the fact that they let me know they were out of the fish i ordered as an entree, almost 40 minutes after we placed the order. The restaurant was not full either. Food was okay, you can get better on nearby spots. I would totally recommend if you’re doing just drinks and appetizers!
The host that greeted us was amazing he was full of personality and very helpful with charging our phones. I was not impressed with the menu and lack of choices the dollar oysters were amazing and the reason that we actually chose to sit down and eat here everything else was pretty disappointing even though the flan was good and pretty large I dont think Ill be back theres not much to pick from .😔😔😔😔
The drinks are lovely and the service is good. The ambiance is spectacular! Its one of the loveliest restaurants Ive ever been in. Its also got a good location - a 5 minute walk from the A station at Dykeman. So why only 3 stars? The food is expensive and the menu is all over the place! But they are working at it so Ill keep stopping in.
We get there and the atmosphere is welcoming and nice.We get to our seat, order some drinks and appetizers start talking .... until we realized we talking too much. After waiting for like 20 minutesWe ordered and waited like 35/40 minutesIn the process of that, a small roach walks pass our feet to get to the other table. The drinks were so watery I was better off buying juice.I ordered lemon chicken and it tasted like teriyaki sauceI decided to have them take it back and give me the pasta serinaThat also tasted like teriyaki sauceWhich means .... they use the same pot and dont clean it.They music was nice and the employees and cool too.But overallI just would rather not eat here ever again.
Why is this placed not packed? The lobster feast and steak for 2 specials are a steal, and the wine bottles they come with are very decent! The prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of goods offered. Everything is cooked properly. A lot of money was poured into this place, which is clearly visible from the decor to the expensive cutlery and serviceware. The only thing thats imperfect is the service. Staff is clearly not experienced and, while they try and are really polite, you could tell its mostly not their profession. It was hard communicating basic wishes in English, water was never offered, bread came to the table after the main course, and 3 people (back to back) insisted on wanting to take our plates away while we were still eating and with a dozen tables empty and no one waiting.
This place is a gem - between the incredible food (ceviche is outstanding), dollar oysters, beautiful cocktails, and kind staff, I don’t know what my favorite part was. Oh right- they also have a fish tank built into the floor and genius eco friendly bathrooms. Cheers to this place for sure! Thank you :)
12/15/17 office Christmas party was in this place and the experience was awful my coworkers agree with me the stuff is friendly they are really nice..........the food in the other hand was awful horrible it was not organized at all they were all over the place they brought wrong plates to the table it was a completely disaster they need to improve on the food service other than that I have nothing else to the say. the music was great very welcoming!!
The food is good but pricey. We ordered a the parilla but the chicken that came with it tasted dry. Theres usually seating available here compared to other restaurants in Dyckman but the food does take forever to be served. I didnt think it food was worth the price for the wait. Service was attentive.
Yes, this restaurant is going downhill. I took my son and nephew here last Sunday for brunch @ $32 per person, my bill came to $119 +. After 30 min, my son and nephew (who arent big eaters) were looking to eat again. My son ordered the fried fish platter. He got 2 small odd shaped pieces of fish, calamari, and 2 tiny pieces of shrimp and a few diced pieces of yuca fries. I dont know whats going on here.I tried to call the Manager when I got home but the call went to voice mail and the voice mail was full. Last summer I ate here and it was ok. This restaurant had too many empty tables and I did not take the warning. You could not get a seat at the other restaurants nearby.
Really went downhill! Avoid. The food here was excellent when it first opened. Service has always been mediocre. The wait staff seem poorly-trained and are often confused. Now, along with the so-so service, the food quality is really disappointing. They completely scrapped their high-end menu for a simpler menu (riddled with typos) that is far more Dominican influenced than the hybrid pan-Latin, American, and Mediterranean seafood style they opened with. The new menu, proclaiming it’s now a “casual dining experience,” is definitely a cost-saving measure and, I think, an attempt to woo more of the Dyckman party crowds who are looking for good drinks and familiar food. The dishes come out in odd color palates with too much reliance on creamy sauce drizzles or other pizzazz to mask so-so culinary skills. Shellfish and ceviche are still fresh, but are bogged down by dishes that try too hard and fall flat.Given the price, one’s expectations from the high-end decor, and how good the food actually used to be, it’s sad to see how far they’ve slipped in such a short time. It seems there may be a new chef, if not all new back-of-house staff.Look for them in the news again soon trying to secure a full liquor license and transitioning to more of a bar/nightclub scene like the neighboring restaurants.Beer and wine prices can’t be beat though, especially the draft beer pours. And the $1 oyster happy hour is solid.
Great ambiance, service and wait staff are awesome. The music is good, but in the summer even tho they don’t get in your food there are mosquitoes. Now I must say I was stoked about their signature punch! Boooo It was soo weak I was yawning, had to order a Modelo Black to wake up! The oysters have no flavor, but the ceviche is good and well per portion for one person. The Pinchos De Calle are a total rip off! You get more onions and peppers than anything else! They got a three star because my beer was nicely cold.....
The restaurant got a B rate one of the reasons is miss use or not properly stored utensils. Presentation A+, poor use of ingredients, the Yucca was no good. The pasta was mildly under cook everything I had was severely under-seasoned. The Bolognese a meat sauce, with no flavor or consistency it felt like ground beef thrown in naked pasta no connection with the equally under-seasoned ground chicken meatballs, the music was loud and there was a miss match between the environment the food serve and whatever they were playing. Our server was awesome tho
The place was a real disappointment. My wife and I ordered the seawalk parrilla, medium. The steak was over done. Fully, black to the core. So were the lamb chops. The chicken was cut very thin, but it was overcooked, making it dry and leathery. The lobster was very dry and rubbery. It could really use some butter or any kind of sauce, but no, the meat was stuck to the shell because it was bone dry. The chorizo was meh. The only good thing about the dish was the fries, and I mean it, they were very good. Despite that, everything seemed to be fresh. Its just a shame the cooks decided to burn everything and make it hard to eat. The place looks nice from the outside, but Im not planning on going back.
Waiter told my table that we should get another bottle of champagne since we only spent $35 on our first bottle(regular price) we were only a party of 3! As if that wasn’t bad enough, he took a plate from our table w/o asking and when we mentioned it he brought back a dirty plate with someone else’s food on it.... don’t waste your money on a Bougie place like this! The manager was unapologetic about the whole situation! First and last time here!
Food was very good! It takes a lot for me to review. Everything we ate was on point! Very nice and attentive staff. The reason for the two stars is that they greatly overcharged us. Do not understand how they could have so grossly overcharged us. But they understood their mistake and fixed the issue.
Went to celebrate a friends graduation. The price fix menu is the only way to go. The fried seafood appetizer with cilantro sauce is fantastic. The steak pieces and burger on that menu are the gems. On the flip side the skirt steak entree with chimichurri sauce had ZERO seasoning including salt and the sauce was heavy on mint leaves without much of a contrasting flavor. Skip the $6 bland mashed potatoes from a box mix garnished with 2 scallion pieces and a basil leaf. Try the very cheesy mac n cheese instead, it has the most taste of any side on the menu. The chicken stew and avocado salad are also good choices. Slow kitchen early in the day but very friendly staff.
The food and service was terrible. My waiter was rude and unprofessional. I order a shrimp taco and i received a shrimp taco with cole slaw. I informed the waiter of the error. The waiter began arguing with me and saying it comes with cole slaw. On the menu, (which I showed him) it did not have cole slaw. He had an attitude that i wanted the cole slaw removed. My friend was kind enough to exchange orders with me. I felt like as a paying customer, we shouldn’t have to do that. What if i was allergic to the cole slaw? Smh & The waiter accidentally spilled a glass of water on my friend and on her phone. The waiter did not apologize. He also had the nerve to say “It will survive.” I could not believe he said that. That was the most rudest thing, i ever encountered. I understood he accidentally spill a drink on my friend but his response was so rude. Lastly, the food was okay.
Today was my second time having my soon to be favorite dish, the salmon with lovely pesto puree and asparagus. Had the ceviche app👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼..The lunch pre fixe is more than you bargained for.. MOST important for me was a restaurant in my neighborhood finally!!had EXCELLENT food and is kid friendly!!😬. What else can you ask for!! I plan on coming back for sure..My son was so fixated on the underground fish tank that I actually enjoyed my lunch..Moms, you get it!!
Worst restaurant I have been to in a long time. The staff sucked, there was a really long wait time for our food and the portions were very small. Place was not packed and it still took them 45 minutes to bring out our entrees. I will never come back to this place again. Not good!!!
Too pricey considering the area. 20% percent gratuity included which Im against because Ive always say that gratuity should be given depending on the service one receives. Another thing, read check carefully they put an extra meal on mine,an extra $40 meal to be exact.
This is my first review i have done ever honestly :( but i was very upset with this place ,i did my birthday here on 9/30/2017 i invited over 20 customers to join me which they were not happy at all , they did not sell liquor , also the brunch they will only bring you pitcher to the table when they only see the empty glass from everyone when we were paying each to deserve what was offer which was food which only one plate was given with not even apetizer, for 35 dollar which supposely included two hours with unlimitted mimosa which was not true , we also ask for music which was not played , also i send a text to the lady which told me a whole different story of what was offer named Jamie to let her be aware and ,you know what she reply that some people that were sitting there left because the music was loud when the music was not loud and only one more table of people were there since before 1 pm when i got there and left because they already were finish , seriously will not recommend this place for anything special ever i denied another offer just to obtain my word and ended up regreting it because all my guest and i were not happy not even myself celebrating my birthday there the worst :(

2019-12-15Great Brunch... We will definitely return. They have a great pre-fixe menu. We were surprised how many choices they had. Brunch comes with 2 hours of free flowing Sangria.

2019-05-07This has to be the worst restaurant I have been all year. The restaurant itself seems clean and the decoration is nice. They open for dinner at 5 pm on Sunday and we arrive at 7:30. Our appetizers arrived one hour later, when we told the waiter why is it taking so long, he reply because it being made fresh. Its fried food and sea food, that does not take that long. The restaurant also has a B rating and its was empty through our dining time there. The sangria did not even taste like it was made with wine and the service sucked as well. I will definitely not be dining here again. The fish is not worth the price nor were the appetizers. I give this a 1 star because of the decor, everything else was bad. #bad #dontdinehere #1star #badservice #stayaway

2019-05-25I passed by this place a few time but was hesitant to try it, finally decided to give it a go today and I wish I would have gone sooner. I ordered two separate rounds of a dozen oysters and they were absolutely amazing ! I can’t even explain how good they were but they were much better than some high end places I’ve gone to. I also had a red snapper meal with a seafood mix and coconut rice and a chinola mojito and everything taste so good !! The service was a little bit slow - but due to the food and the ambiance it is all forgiven :)

2019-02-26Great atmosphere any night of the week. Friday tends to be less crowded (as is the whole area of Dykman before late Spring) than Saturday. Fantastic menu, drink and beer options. Very clean, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Even the music played there explores many genres. They have a group that Ive seen there some Saturday nights who do karaoke. Nice mixed crowd with laughter and fun. Sometimes loud, sometimes not so much but Ive never had a bad time there.

2019-05-05The food here was really good and the drinks were good. This is a nice place to go brunch on the weekend. The atmosphere is nice and so are the bathrooms. The only downside was the service was a little slow even though the restaurant was practically empty. I would recommend this restaurant for a girls day, first date, or family outing.

2018-07-23Awesome place and staff. The food was delicious and fresh. I am coming back for sure! One week later came with my boyfriend for their special - steak and lobster and a complementary bottle Of prosseco. Love this place !
