They renovated the playground right next door couldnt bother to spruce up the skatepark. Nails sticking out of the ramps, glass shards everywhere and missing rails.
Man is this place great!
The kids have a great time skateboarding here. There is no other place like it in Brooklyn that i know of. Lots of room to try different tricks.
My kids love it its the number 1 playground to take kids..

2021-09-19Great place to enjoy for ages. This location has plenty of other activities for kids and adults such as an AMA model air plane runway and a small beach nearby. I really enjoy coming here.

2021-02-03Nothing special - definitely doesnt look as good as the pics. Typical NYC parks.Some skaters with talent there - mostly everyone is nice to one another. Kids learning from one another.

2018-01-26This park is awesome and pretty intermediate. Theres some flat ground but I definitely do not recommend it for those with just a basic idea of how to stand on their board.On the other hand if youre pretty advanced you might find this park entertaining but not testing. The park is not as secluded as it looks with an extremely large playground right next to it. It has a few ramps and some stairs. Overall this is an extremely fun park and I recommend going there.

2018-05-10Its beautiful now foliage all full and bright green now, flowers blooming. Not overcrowded. So yr child will have a lot of freedom of choice on what he or she would like to do. They have bathrooms and water fountains. Or u can through down a blanket I the grass and have a picnic. Theres a paved path running along side the park with shade trees.

2019-07-05This park is not satisfactory. The park has nails and metal sticking out of it. If you were to skate down a box or ramp and took a wrong turn, you would encounter metal. Not to mention, there are always young kids. I do not mind kids if they are actually using the park for its purpose. But I do mind, if there are 3-5 year olds on scooters,bikes,or skateboards that are simply for learning to ride the sidewalk and not for the intended purpose of the park. Not recommended.

2017-11-04Worst skate park in the world. There are bolts sticking out there are holes in the floor and on the ramps, its really small the rail is bent, the other ones are missing.This is a unsafe environment. 2 days ago a kid feel into the grass and cut his hand open by glass in the grass.This is a hazard it needs to be rebuilt into a better park.

2019-08-25Beautiful park with lots of space and activities for the kids! Will be back here again! Beach front nearby to have a picnic on the sand and by the water!
