Recently got a car from here in late January 2022. Had to go back to dealer twice, with one time being for an oil change and tire rotation and each time I have had a good experience. This place does not give off the same vibes as most car dealerships tend to do. I will definitely buy my next Jeep from Security Dodge.
Wouldnt even take a free T-shirt from them, let alone buy another vehicle from this dealership. Check Engine light illuminated on my college daughters 2021 Jeep Compass Latitude. Did what any customer would do and brought it in to the service department to have them check it. Was told they would run a computer diagnostic and I would have to schedule a appointment to come back and have them fix it. Great, the appointment they gave me was 2 months out. So what is my college daughter to do with a 15-month old Jeep that is really not safe to drive and doesnt start regularly. Asked to speak to the service manager and he wasnt available, was told he would call me later that day. Was able to drove it home and waited for a call from the dealership that never came. Called again the next day and explained the situation. Again, was told service manager was not available and that he would call me back. STILL WAITING! Not, called around and found a dealership willing and accommodating to my situation. Brought it up to Smith Haven Jeep in St. James and within a few days had the situation corrected. Now thats a dealership that I will be giving all my future business to. I would never buy anything from Security Dodge and Jeep again and would NOT recommend this dealership to anyone that wants to be treated the right way. Forgo the free T-shirt, how about real customer service instead.
Security Dodge made it very easy to lease my new 2022 Ram Truck! Jason Waters is a great salesman and John the General Manager made the deal happen in my price range! I cant thank them enough for making my purchase very easy and with no pressure! I will definitely be referring my friends and family for any lease or purchase of a Chrysler product!
I would give zero stars & certainly would not recommend this dealer, the Service Advisor, Dianne or the Service Manager, Dylan. Phone calls, voicemail messages are not answered or returned. This was our first and last visit to Security Dodge. My wife & I brought our vehicle here in an emergency because while driving our vehicle lost power, the steering wheel & front end was shaking uncontrollably. After waiting an hour on there service line, & made it to the garage door, Dianne informed us that it would be a few days for them to check it out because they were extremely busy. I requested a loaner & Dianne rudely stated no, I asked if they work with a local rental company & Dianne abruptly replied no. Dianne asked if we needed a ride & I replied yes believing that we would receive a courtesy ride home because of my disability & hardship & live in Amityville Village but once again Dianne abruptly said no. I truly feel discriminated against because they refused to accommodate my disability & handicap. Once we entered Dianne’s office I requested a receipt or repair order because we were dropping our vehicle off at a dealer for the first time & don’t know them. I certainly do not want to be surprised months from now with speed camera or red light tickets. Dianne adamantly refused my request for this documentation, stating that they do not provide this paperwork to vehicle owners & we will receive an invoice after our vehicle is repaired & picked up. This in itself is not right or fair & I believe a state violation. I feel strongly that Security Dodge lacks honesty, integrity & reliability. No customer should be put through such a horrible & horrendous ordeal when going through such a difficult, trying an extremely stressful times. It’s morally outrageous that my wife & I were left without a vehicle or transportation. I was forced to cancel my doctors appointments, my wife could not get to work, & we could not go grocery shopping for our family & I had no way to get to my pharmacy for my prescription drugs medications. Our entire experience was just atrocious. I feel that This dealer lacks courtesy, professionalism & respect. After being without our car for three days, & paying the insurance deductible, I was charged an additional 4% for using a credit card, which is illegal, the paperwork I was given was not true or correct because it did not accurately state the correct “mileage out” for my vehicle. My car was driven an extra “27” miles while this dealer claimed it was only driven “1” mile. They further claimed that they notified me that my vehicle was done on the 18th, which is false, they only called me today on the 19th. Furthermore My vehicle was left with a half tank of fuel on the 17th, & now has less than a 1/4 tank of fuel today. I seriously wonder if they used my car to run errands or drive home? I feel that there is something seriously wrong when a dealer finds the need to falsify a legal & binding document. I spoke to the Service Manager, Dylan to express my concerns about the paperwork inaccuracies, the mileage & gas issue. Dylan claimed that my vehicle was thoroughly road tested on the Southern State Pkwy & the Sagtikos State Pkwy because they were not entirely sure if my car had an issue with a fuel Injector or a Cylinder Head. This does not leave a positive impression or say much about there mechanics diagnostics skills, or knowledge. I understand a vehicle needs to be road tested, I just feel that 27 miles is extremely excessive & is like a road trip from Amityville to Queens or Amityville to Patchogue which is absolutely ridiculous. I feel that the mileage driven should have been properly documented or recorded on the repair invoice. I feel that I have the legal right to question this huge mileage discrepancy with Security Dodge. I gave them every opportunity to correct this mistake but unfortunately the Service Manager felt giving me a ride & nasty attitude was appropriate behavior, then stated that I was never to return back there again! They behavior is truly Disgraceful
Wrong prices are advertised on TruCar, expect at least $4000 more once at the dealership (they pretend the loyalty customer rebate had been automatically added by the website and charge you extra also if you dont need to get financed with them). And wearing the mask is more than optional for the staff. And I also forgot to mention that, of course, the car we were interested in, which had been on sale for weeks and which looked like a very interesting deal, was unfortunately sold just minutes before we got to the dealership for an an appointment to test drive said car.
Excellent service from a professional staff. The sales manager Johnny La was a pleasure to deal with as was his salesperson John C. They both made the purchase process easy and stress free. I highly recommended this dealership if you want a no nonsense car buying experience.
My salesman Blake was very knowledgeable and made what is usually a difficult experience quit pleasant. He checked on me throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied and happy and answered any questions I had. Blake helped me set up all the programming in my new Jeep, connected my phone and even reminded me to move over my current Sirius XM account so I could take advantage of the free 6mo given to me with my new vehicle and extended my current membership. He went above and beyond. We will definitely use Blake when my boyfriends lease come due in a few months!
We had our mirrors stolen from our Jeep Grand Cherokee in the city last week. We had to be out on Long Island for a family event so we called Security and they had the mirrors in stock. We very carefully drove to Amityville. Louis in the parts department and Mike in the repair shop were incredibly nice and helpful. The mirrors were replaced in a little over an hour as we sat in the very comfortable waiting area with coffee and snacks provided. Considering the stress of a theft, Mike, Louis and Security all came together to get us safely back on the road. A big shout out to everyone at Security!
If I can give 0 stars I would. I have been having nothing but problems from this dealership since the day I got my car. Most recently, my, 12 radio screen stopped working.. I spoke with the service manager Who provides anything but quality service. They said they were ordering me another new radio. This was 4 weeks ago, maybe more. I have yet to get a call or any correspondence from anyone in the dealership.. I have reached out to this manager multiple times with no callback. The list goes on and on with problems I have had with their sales team as well as their service team. Should I even bring up the fact that the girl sitting behind the service counter was coughing, sneezing, and clearly was sick, with no mask. Seriously?!? Long story short.... .save yourself from this dealership of lying, rude, classless individuals.
The service is ok, nothing fancy, the reason I’m giving one star is because of the cleanliness of my engine bay after getting a simple oil change. Oil was left all over my engine. Im not bad mouthing the service department, but I want to make anyone that cares about servicing their vehicle aware and to let the department know before handing their car over. Zoom In on the photo and you’ll see the oil spots.
I feel that we were lied to.We Bought a CPO JEEP December 2021. Bought all the service and warranty packages. January 2022 we have a problem with car. They promised 100s of loaner vehicles. The first appointment for service offered is 2 months away. 2 MONTHS.Got some “I’m sorry , we are so busy”. Maybe sales can help you.We paid for full service packages and have been given only lip service.So sorry we didn’t stick with our old Jeep dealer
Have been using Security Dodge for over 12 years now. This is my seventh vehicle with them. My salesman AJ is absolutely phenomenal this is my 3rd purchase with him.He is easy to deal with and we always go over my wants and needs. From start to finish he is always in contact. I have to say one thing that I have never experienced at any other dealership. No other dealership has ever contacted me after the sale. It is something that I believe is so important these days.The management staff and F&I were great also I couldnt be more pleased with the courtesy and respect that was given to me.I would like to say Thank You again to AJ and Jonathan for all their help.Thank youJoe Heath

The whole entire experience at security dodge was phenomenal. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and lots of snacks and comfortable waiting room while you wait. Plenty of cars available. And Kahbir was very helpful with my car buying experience. Security Dodge is top tier!
Called a few times to speak with a sales person. I wanted to order a specific vehicle and I was told that no one would talk to me unless I came in person. I explained that I wanted to talk to a sales person to get a few questions answers. I was told that someone would call me back, but I could tell it would never happen. I called back the second day and was told the same thing. When I explained that I wasnt coming there until I spoke with someone, they then hung-up on me.Obviously they have all the power when you are sitting at their desk, in their office, sales 101.Not sure what the experience would have been if I complied with their demands, but Im sure it wouldnt have gotten better.
I’ve been going to Security Dodge since my truck had 200 miles on it. They treat me well. They get crowded and sometimes things do take a while, but I’m a quality over quantity kinda man so I’m ok with it. I just wish they’d work a little better with the local Enterprise near them. If you could return rentals at the dealership that would be helpful. I come from Brooklyn to go to this dealership so sometimes I’ll rent a car and just leave my truck there overnight. All in all it’s great dealership and I plan to buy my hellcat/trachawk from this dealership after my current lease is up.

I just bought a vehicle this weekend from this dealer, please DO NOT buy from this dealer, the worst experience ever. As soon as I agreed to buy the car they left me and didnt bother with me anymore. I am from out of state, I bring my car to get inspected in MD and it fails because the tires are worn out and it needs new rotors and brakes. I called the dealer and they said its not their problem because it passed NY state inspection. I explained that they shouldnt be selling cars in this condition and that the car says its certified, the tag is even on the car still and Anthony the manager said the cars are NOT certified meaning they are FALSE advertising. DO NOT waste your time buying from this dealer. He even said well this is dodge jeep and ram dealer, basically saying they dont know anything about any of the other brands they sell and simply didnt care. The costs to fix the mechanical issues is $1800 which they refuse to rectify.
At first I had a good experience with sercurity dodge when my husband purchased my 2021 grand Cherokee L. But since my purchase I’ve had non stop issues with Jeep from the auto start stop not working to the active lane management not working. No one answers the service department phone and the one time they did I was told I have to wait until April to have my car checked and serviced I called in January. But when I purchased this vehicle I was told I could bring it in at 1,000 miles for service. This is unacceptable customer service and I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from them as it is a nightmare to get your vehicle serviced.
My Jeep Compass is my first vehicle purchase with Security Dodge Chrysler Jeep. This dealership is amazing! The Long Island place to buy a car. I was there for the service department. I went to the showroom, and the place was packed. I still decided to buy a vehicle. Thank you.
I brought my Jeep Wrangler in for its yearly NYS inspection. From the first person I encountered, to the Service Department Desk receptionist, I was treated courteously and politely. The waiting area in the service department was very clean and comfortable, and my wait time was minimal.
Worst customer service experience in my life. I usually don’t write bad reviews but this was ridiculous. I had an appointment to take my husbands Jeep that he bought there for just a tire rotation and balance at 9am which it was my first time going here for service. There was no one to check me in it was all over the place I waited until 11am to ask them how much longer the car would take the receptionist said she will get back to which 30 mins later she ignore me then I went back up they told me to look for someone named michelle which had a major attitude when I asked how much longer for something as simple as a tire rotation she said it is second in line to be taken in. I waited 2 hours plus so I said I’ll take my keys back which she preceded to have a major attitude. Then I get in the car and there is another customer information in my car with there personal address and phone number. I will never go back here again.
The sales staff is friendly because they have to be to get a sale. I traded my jeep in for a Benz due to the incompetence and rudeness of their service department. I regret convincing my daughter to purchase a car from them and I regret the recommendations I gave a bunch of my friends when I first purchased the car.
From the moment you walk in, it’s like you’re family and have known them for years. Alise explained everything to us clearly and concisely, even worked up multiple car models with accurate quotes, and stayed with us while we contacted and worked out insurance prices for each model. In a world where each dealership we’ve gone to didn’t really want to work with us, and granted the marked isn’t in consumer favor right now, Alise, JR, and Security Dodge definitely stand out from the rest! I’ll be seeing you about that Wrangler soon, Alise!
If I could give zero stars I would. Trust me on this one: If you deal with this place get everything in writing up front. My mistake was trusting that what we discussed on the phone would hold in person . Needless to say that wasnt the case. I cant speak for everyone there but the folks I dealt with have no honor. Thats enough for me to take my business elsewhere
This is my first Google review...and was disappointed to see, 0 stars isnt an option. LOL - I cannot even believe Im writing this, but I have just had enough of their garbage customer service. Karen ...yes thats the name of the woman that keeps emailing me under my old email address and addressing me by my maidens name AFTER IVE TOLD THEM A MILLION TIMES that is no longer an active source to reach me. Karen continues to email me telling me lease is about to expire...in the beginning, I wrote a very thoughtful response to her - letting her know what I was looking for and the timing. No answer. When she emailed me a second time, I reminded her that she keeps contacting me with old information and to please update. They also had my dads cell phone on file - which makes 0 sense but OK. I gave her my cell phone and my husbands cell...nope. I also told her no one ever responded to my first response, and SHE PROMISED someone would call. Spoiler alert...never did. This has gone on for 5 months. Long story short, their inability to properly manage their customers led me to get my new lease from a competitor Jeep dealership. 0 stars for pure incompetence. Ive had two leases from them and always had difficulty with the service department. I can go on and on...but for someone that wanted my perfect condition wrangler back so they can turn it around for a top profit, jokes on you. Karen emailed me AGAIN today...and I have had enough. I got my new lease at the end of 2021...so not sure why Im being harassed STILL. I will not recommend Security Dodge. I know they have more inventory than some of the other shops and can offer better deals...but honestly, its just not worth the aggravation. Would recommend that you look anywhere else.UPDATE: someone from security Dodge called my husband today (April 27) and asked for my lease back hahahaha still havent called me..he said they were very resistant to taking the feedback summarized from above and asked him to keep security Dodge in mind for future purchases 😂 are you kidding me? She said would like to get us into a car today. CLUELESS and NOT SELF AWARE.
First class experience from beginning to end. Never pushed or rushed. In fact, the opposite. Brandon Cuevas - most honest salesman there is. Ask for him you wont be disappointed! His manager David Garcia excellent as well. Finally Tom Ferrigno - Finance Manager was a pleasure to deal with. Listen I HATE the car sales process and this was by far the best experience Ive ever had. Do your self a favor and go see Brandon!
By far the worst dealership experience. I purchased 2 jeeps at the same time. I picked them both up the following day, one of them has 2 scratches, after months of back an fourth I brought it to them to fix. I pick it up and the scratched part was painted a different color. I returned the truck a second time only to have them paint it again and get over spray over the entire truck and still not match the color correctly. They refused to fix it again, I contacted Jeep wave and for the lack of better words they also je*ked me off and strung me alone brigade security said my truck was fine.Terrible dealership experience and terrible customer service.
I was referred to Security Dodge by my cousin who is also in the car sales field. He referred me to Emily Santosus who is an excellent sales person. She was very thorough in explaining the process of ordering my car and she has excellent people skills.Emily also followed up a couple of days after I picked up my vehicle to see if I needed anything.
If I could put no stars I would. I was a repeat customer and finance manager John Garcia lied and was extremely rude and shady. Joe Smith and Jesse were extremely pushy and really bad salesman. Go somewhere else if you don’t you will regret it. I promise!! Ps I have emails and phone records to prove it. Go anywhere else trust me!
I got my Wrangler here a few months back. I am overall happy with my car! The only thing I would have to criticize is about the service. When we bought the car there was no carpeted mats inside and we didn’t realize until we got home. I called and our sales guy said he would check on it. He ended up never calling us back so I had to go back there in person to remind him again and then he came around to ordering new mats. Besides that situation we are happy with our jeep!
My husband and I went here to look at a truck. As soon as we walked in, there were about 5 salesmen at the counter. Also, about 7 other employees walking around, all without masks. A salesman named Mike began to help us. Face to face, at a tiny table for about 30 minutes without a mask. My husband and i both with masks the entire time. We assumed everyone was vaccinated. We went to test drive a vehicle. The 3 of us got in. I asked Mike if he was vaccinated. His response was nope. I said then I cant go on this test drive and got out. My husband test drove the car with all the windows down in 30° weather. Not even the decency to offer to put a mask on. We couldnt believe the lack of respect for their customers. Needless to say, I would never buy a vehicle from this dealership. And now they say that he was vaccinated and they dont know why he said that he wasnt but he didnt hesitate to allow me to get out of the car and wait in the cold. Either way, purely unprofessional
Been to dealerships over the years, I have never found a cleaner one. Beyond the customer service area, the shop and complimentry coffee cohnter and bathrooms are super clean.The professional greaters and sakes and service people were supurb. In this date and age of covid I was treated like VIP with ny vehicles issue.I called and got in early was taken care of. Thank goodness the mechanics were trained professionals and diagnoised and fixed the issue.My 3rd Ram truck from them and nothing but great sales and service.Thank you and Hats off to Security Dodge and Team
Alise and the entire staff at Security Dodge made buying my dream car seamless and extremely pleasant! Alise knew exactly what I wanted and she made it happen. She was knowledgeable, kind, patient, and funny! Buying a car can be a hassle sometimes but I never waited long when I went to the dealership, they listened to what I wanted and did not try to push anything on me. Alise truly wanted me to be happy. That was more important to her than just making a sale!! I appreciate that more than anything. She put me in the car that I wanted for close to 15 years! Although I did not have an appointment for service, I was able to leave my car there. Always had a great experience at Security. I do have to give a shout out to Diana, one of the service reps. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable about service issues, she is entirely pleasant and a pleasure to work with. Thanks Diana!
I left my 2020 Ram 1500 eco diesel for an oil change. I mentioned to service writer Jonathan to make sure the service tech is aware that the oil residue that drips on the cross member below the oilpan needs to be wiped clean. The past two oil changes it wasn’t cleaned and I had oil dripping onto my paving stone driveway of my house. Guess what ? It wasn’t cleaned and now I have fresh oil stains in my driveway !
I dont usually leave reviews but my conversation with the salesman Paul Lawal was less than pleasing. They dont advertise their $10,000 addendum on vehicles on their website. Wont honor my Control Number either. Ive owned 6 Stellantis products in the last 5 years. My conversation with Paul left me feeling like I was just another sale to them. Id recommend spending your money elsewhere.
Brought my car in for service and was told that it would be ready possibly later in the evening, or most likely the next day. For the next 5 days, I couldn’t even get an update on the car at all. To better clarify, nobody would talk to me or return my calls. I eventually had to come to the service department to then find out the car was NEVER even touched or looked at for the entire 5 days. Since picking up the car, I still cannot even get any feedback on the car or why it was never attempted to be addressed? I have left messages for the service advisor and was transferred to the owner twice and my calls have yet to be returned. This is extremely disappointing.
You may buy are car here and you like it but after you buy that car the service experience is an absolute nightmare. You’ll be in pain for week calling every day hoping the found your car after you drop it off here. Then they’ll claim they ordered part or parts your car need and when it come in they’ll call you back. Psych…… you’ll never get that call and you’ll grow old and die before you car gets serviced by these ppl or the warranty runs out. Horrible Horrible experience. Pay a bit more some where else and save your self the headaches for a car you may not drive.
I bought a car from Security Dodge months ago, the key fobs never worked correctly which I mentioned the exact next day after I purchased the car. They refused to correct how the remote start that was in the car was installed incorrectly. If I use the remote start I have to manually put the key in the car door to unlock it.I went to the dealership a few days ago and had to wait from 8:00 when I arrived until 4 hours later at 12:00 just to have them check the brakes and axles which were making noise. I will never go there again that was a complete waste of time. Manny K. is a service advisor there he was suppose to get me a price on the axles that afternoon when I left, I never heard back from him, I called left a message and he still never got back to me. He’s unreliable and I don’t know how he keeps his job. Long story short take your business elsewhere, you’ll thank me for that.
I went there to purchase a new 2016 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack Shaker. I was greeted promptly, and they were very friendly. They were very patient and knowledgeable as they showed me the very car that I was interested in. We worked out a price, and they were more than fair on my trade. My salesman, Jason Waters, was a pleasure to work with as he explained every step of the procedure that allowed me to drive my new Challenger home that same night. Because of a recurring snag with my insurance company (Allstates fault, not Security Dodges), they even kept the store open an extra hour to accommodate me. Mike, in the finance department, was very professional and he really stepped up to the plate to get me great financing with a rate and term that worked out great for me. I am very happy with my purchase and the experience I had with Security Dodge. I would highly recommend this dealership and their products too.
If I could give a negative 5 I would!Went there a few months ago to inquire about a Dodge Charger took a test ride and went to sit down to talk numbers, I wanted to know a Ball Park figure so I would know if i can afford it or not , if I cant afford it why go any further, .....right?Salesman could not give me any answers unless he had a deposit and ran my credit, I said NO I am in the midst of getting a home mortgage and i dont need the hits on my credit for no reason, Salesman was so distracted by all the other potential customers coming in and started to get rude and short with me (i guess I was wasting his time $$$ in his eyes) It was starting to annoy me, finally he told me it would cost about $785 a month with a ton of money down, I said well then I cant afford it and got up, On the way out the Manager said I cant do anything unless I have your credit score and deposit, I explained why I did not want to do it and gave him the credit score that the Mortgage company was using, So I could once again just get an Idea what it was going cost me,MANAGER Told me GET ALL YOUR DUCKS IN ORDER AND COME BACK TO SEE ME WHEN YOU DO.Went to Merrick Dodge next morning 9am sharp and Bought a new 2018 Dodge Charger in less than 40 minutes and it was over $300 cheaperOh well ! I guess my ducks were in order and my credit wasnt so bad either !
This has been the absolute worst experience out of any vehicle I have ever owned. I have been left without a vehicle for almost a month with no loaner. The parts for my vehicle keeps getting pushed back. Worst part of bringing it to get work done is little communication. The phone rings out when I call to speak to them about a loaner or my vehicle I get a random text. I will never do business with this dealership ever again. I don’t care if it is warranty work or just a simple oil change I will do the work myself. Without remorse they are holding on to my vehicle and not giving me a loaner which has impeded my ability to get to and from work as well as run my business.
I would not recommend Security, I bought a Jeep from them in 2017, as soon as the sale was over they did not return any of my calls or emails with follow up questions I had. Over the past few years they’ve reached out to try and finesse me to trade in my car - one time they said they were interested in buying my renegade then when I called back they spoke like I had a burning desire to sell my car which I didn’t- they reached out to me wanting to buy it so I found this disingenuous and a scamming sales tactic. They reached out another time a year later and despite phone calls back and emails they never got back to me and I was honestly interested in trade in options. Now today, I called to get information on my warranty and left messages with 3 different people after being shuffled around 3 different times. I still don’t have any information on my warranty. Also, two summers ago my car had a recall and it took 2 months to get it in to be seen and the issue was somewhat urgent - it was summer and my cooling fan was defective. What’s the point of buying a warranty or having a service department if it takes months to get the service completed? Especially when it is a recall which is entirely Jeep’s fault. I’m just really disappointed with the lack of follow up and follow through. Once you buy from them and leave their offices you’re a nobody to them.EDIT 8/23 I called the number of the person who responded and emailed them and heard nothing back. It’s been weeks. DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR PR BS! They’ll reply to comments so they look like they care but really don’t!
Salesman Bob and manager JR are awesome. Everything was perfect from the time I walked in the door through delivery. I love the new Jeep. Great price, speedy delivery and quite frankly very nice people. Very professional, they honored every request I had. Highly recommended by me.Ed
Watch out for Elvis. He is a sales person. He will have you believing anything. He sold me a car that had leaks every where, the day I bought the car I had to leave new york due to military relocation. So to have a problem with the car 2 days after purchase when it first rained was a bummer. When I was able to come in they tried to charge me $500 dollars to fix a car that was sold to me that way. This was my first car purchase and Elvis was the worst person I could have ran into.
A dealer that I do not recommend, I went with my wife because I saw a ram 1500 sport, everything was fine, they took me to test it and everything was fine until they ran the credit to finally tell her that it was already sold but that my wife had excellent credit. to acquire a newer one 🤷🏻♂️ 😡
Love the show room there very helpful. But when it comes to service there the worst I showed up at 7am waiting to be checked in and I didnt leave till Almont 9am thats Ridiculous and I had an appointment after they canceled my first appointment a month later.other than that the guys are great there
Please avoid this dealership at all costs. They are dishonest and ended up trying to charge us more as we were signing the lease agreement. We did a $0 down deal and negotiated a payment down from $399 to $369. All of a sudden there was a $900 loan fee they wanted us to pay at the end when it was time to sign. Interesting when you do the math it brings the monthly payment back up to $399. It gets worse. Now that we turned our old car in part of our deal both the salesman Mike and the loan finance manager said they were taking care of the disposition fee for our jeep that we were turning in. Now we are 5 months later and we get a call from the bank that it was never paid and almost in collections. We called the dealership and they said the only way they will pay it is if we buy another car from them. Extortion at its finest.I should have taken advice from family on this dealership. I have been leasing jeeps for over 10 years now. Will stay with jeeps but never again at this dealership.
From the moment I walked in, until delivery of my vehicle, Bob N. was wonderful to work with. Very easy going, not pushy, and found exactly what I wanted in such a tough car inventory. Got the car I wanted with out issue. The sales staff and financing were accommodating. Much better experience than another deal I went to earlier in the week trying to sell me the same car for 5000 over MSRP. Price and financing is right where it should be with 10% down and good credit.
I bought a jeep patriot from this dealership 2 years ago. A few months after the purchase I received a call from an unknown bank stating I need to pay for the down-payment on my jeep. It threw me back because I put about 3 thousand on the down payment. After explaining that to the bank they did an investigation and found out I was scammed by an employee from the dealership because there is no other way to retrieve my information about my purchase on the jeep. My step daughter decision to purchase a vehicle from them last year even with me plea to not deal with this company. She had it for 2 days and the car stopped working. She found out something went wrong with the installation of the breaks. She brought it back and it took them, it took over a month to find out what was wrong with it and to fix it. I told her not to take the car back. But she really liked the car. In the beginning of May she brought the car back in to change the clutch. She called several times to see when she can pick up her car, and most of the time the receptionist says they cant come to the phone. When my husband finally got a hold of someone they would say the following week. Well we just picked up the car yesterday. AND WAS CHARGED $3000 FOR THE REPAIR. we ask if we can pay in some kind of installments but was told that the car cannot go with us until we pay the full $3000. POTENTIAL CAR BUYERS BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP.
Worst dealer ever, I made an appointment for my car to be service on Monday @4 And four days later we still don’t have no clear answers of what’s wrong with the car. The car was not even touch until Wednesday night.The services advisor Geovanny reyes is clueless , We provide a list of 6 issues that the car have and nothing has been done .The vehicle have Extend Warrant, that information was provided and it was advise for dealer to be call for authorization for any services that are covered under the warranty. I’ve been without my car for five days now, this is so unprofessional and the lack of communication really sucks. What makes a good business is good customer service and that’s something that they missing.
The worst!!! Customer service, 45 min on the phone waiting for someone to talk to you, then if you go there they are so nasty like if you are asking for a favor... we bought a jeep Cherokee and ever since we have had issues after issues... not not professionals at all!!!
The BEST. I hate buying a car but EVERYONE I had the pleasure of dealing with was excellent. My salesman Jesse was a straight shooter. No BS. Sue with insurance sales was great. Bought my first Dodge at Security Dealership. I’m extremely happy with the 1500 pickup love the new vehicle. Salesman Brandon was very professional. I told him what I was looking for and he took the time to show me all the options and colors with pricing until I found the perfect vehicle. Very easy process after that. Also I received the trade in value for my old truck that I wanted which was great. I also want to send a shoutout to Grisela who deals strictly with insurance. She was so professional and saved me a ton of money by switching insurance companies. As you can see my experience at Security Dodge was amazing and I would highly recommend buying your next vehicle at Security Dodge.
I think security dodge has the worst service dept. of any dodge dealer. I’m on my 3rd Ram they had my truck for over 30 days and gave it back to me with the same problem. Now the service manager DYLAN won’t return my calls. When you put gas in the truck there’s a hole in the neck leading to the gas tank which spills on the ground whenever I get gas. I’ve called repeatedly to no avail. At this point I’ll return the truck when the lease is up and go to Smithhaven or another Dodge dealer. I wouldn’t recommend buying or leasing at security.

This dealership is a factory. To give you an idea my service appointment was almost 2 months ago and they are just now asking for my feedback. Don’t get me wrong, The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, however, there is always so much going on that you can kind of get lost in the rush. I dropped my truck for service with an appointment on a Monday night and called Wednesday night only to find they hadn’t even looked at it yet and then suddenly they were bringing it in...which led me to think when would they have looked at it if I never called? Or why have me bring it in Monday if you know you are 2 days behind?
To keep this short and simple, I will say the problem with this dealership is with extended appointment times along with inappropriate customer service. I have 2 brand new vehicles, a dodge and a jeep. Dodge was in for a software update that turned out to be 3 separate appointments of going back and fourth from an issue with a software update but thats besides the point. My Jeep Grand Cherokee was dropped off for an oil change/routine service. I explained to my advisor if they could double check everything and make sure all safety concerns are checked if any, because I was using the jeep for a cross country road trip. During my trip I noticed the brakes were juddering with severe vibration. Upon getting home, I reached out to Security Dodge for an appointment due to the importance of the matter, the sooner the better, since were dealing with an important part such as brakes and was rudely advised that the soonest appointment was 2 weeks out. I tried to make note of the importance of the matter to the receptionist who rudely laughed at me over the phone and then just hung up. Safe to say I wont be returning, will be taking both of my cars to a place that knows how to conduct themselves in the right manner.
Historically, the quick lube/oil change department is thorough and friendly.Recently, I’ve had some oil leaks. I worked with Tom and Josh. Exceptional service was provided and Tom followed through with his word. It is frustrating when you experience car issues but patience and working with Tom and Josh made it way less painful! Thank you for the exceptional service! I’m confident in the service departments new management so I’ve updated my review to 5 stars!!
Have you ever been on the road just cruising along minding your own business and out of nowhere this big bad mean looking vehicle cuts you off and almost runs you off the road so you look up in shock shivering in your seat trying to figure out what just happened and then it hits you its a RAM 1500 standing tall and strong right there in front of you. Check out security Dodge ram Chrysler dont be the scared little driver who gets cut off by a truck. Gave this place five stars until they totally messed me up on all my vehicles that customer service is the worst do not go here do yourself a favor this place is absolutely horrific you will regret ever coming here
Do not buy from this shady dealership.They first couldnt find my pre approval from my bank so bait and switched so they could finance our vehicle through the dealership.Then, months after buying a CPO 2016 Jeep grand cherokee with less than 40,000 miles on it.. We get a check engine light which required a full blown engine replacement. Only for the light to come on taking it home and two days later stall out in the middle of the highway.We Called the dealership and they tell us to call Chrysler customer service. Without providing a solution and other jeep dealerships are not accepting our car because they did not do the work
We just had an amazing experience at Security Dodge Chrysler and Jeep. Our salesman, Brandon was great to work with and made the whole experience easy and fun. He made sure I got the right Jeep for me!! He patiently went over all the details of the car and made sure I knew how to pop the top off before driving away. I wish i can leave a NEGATIVE star review for this place! It is impossible to reach somebody in service. My vehicle has been in service for almost a MONTH! Not one follow up phone call and when i ask the service receptionist to speak to the service manager she won’t help you and she is a very snobby person. They hire these young girls who have attitude problems and don’t care why i am calling. . I will be in contact with the better business bureau! This place is unbelievable!
3 years ago sales man service is great and easy to buy my 2015 ram1500 all the staff service is great nothing bad to say about it, but went it comes to mechanical service stay away from this place, after a replacement of a broken camshaft and lifter which cost $ 3258.75 dls I had to return a month later because during the whole month I had problems with a burning smell inside the cabin and a leak of antifreeze, roughly running of the engine and shaking sensation after driving for a wile, I was surprised that the radiator was with a hole, which I suspected from the day I received my truck, from the first repair, because it was not normal that it had that bad smell all the time, I had to pay again a Radiator replacement, which could be solved from the first repair, which cost me $ 1264.98dls since I had to pay 16 spark plugs because it was suggested to me so that my 2015 ram1500 truck would stop having the problem that they had found, a week later My truck continue with the same mechanical problems which I think $ 4,523.73 dollars could have solved the mechanical problems, look for a place where the mechanical recommendations are more accurate and where your money is well invested to fix your car, I was dissatisfied with the mechanical work because now I am left without money and with a car that continues with mechanical problems.
This was my first time at Security Dodge Jeep service center in AMITYVILLE NY. I was very pleasantly surprised and happy with how I was taken care of. I went in for a recall on my Jeep Compass without an appointment as instructed by phone. I was done within 30 minutes. The advisor also solved a problem I had with the remote start function on my key and he solved my problem right away. Following this experience, I dont have any problem with recommending this shop.

Both went out of there way to make sure i was comfortable with my purchase and explained every detail about my new truck. Security Dodge has always managed to get my business. They are fair, honest and really try hard to do what is right for their customers. They work with me to fit in my budget. They have a great service department too. Whenever I needed it , they would give me a loaner car when I had to leave my car with them.

I strongly advise you find a more professional and reliable dealership. Do not choose this one, they are pleasant until they’re not. I went in inquiring about a price I saw a vehicle for on a replicable website in which they choose to advertise their vehicle on, however, when I got there they refuse to give it to me for that price claiming “they don’t know how that price came about.” When I expressed that to the manager, “Michelle” she said that price is not updated in their system but she’ll “call me when it is,” in which I’m yet to refuse that return call. They’ll use these websites to lure you in, then try to have you purchase at a much higher price. Save yourself the trip.
Our experience with Security Dodge could’ve went a lot better. We were there for six hours (not once were we offered coffee or water) and our salesman was less than professional. He was not concerned with our needs and wants with our purchase. There was nothing done to make our first car buying purchase special. We were there to purchase our first brand new car (which we did), but the process could have went much smoother. Not once were we informed of any amenities of the vehicle. My car was presented to me dirty, (again, Mike admitted the car was team was less than perfect). We are middle, working class people and we saved up for this purchase. There were employees there, that were nice and professional. However, thinking back to our overall experience, I probably would not refer or make another purchase there.
By Far the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.My fiancé and I went to look and purchase a Dodge Charger. Upon arrival the receptionist had no idea of our appointment even though we called to confirm. She then notified us they were soon closing and wasn’t sure if she could help us , after driving from Pennsylvania to New York to look at the car. Erica the receptionist was unprofessional, she never gave any of my messages to our sales person and always was giving the run around as to why he couldn’t speak to us . Talk about inexperienced, she should be fired for her rude, unprofessional demeanor and her lack of Knowledge. Our sales person TJ was not too far from her, he was unwelcoming, didn’t really show us the car or tell us about the features, he went straight to the numbers, which was uncomfortable. He didn’t even offer the test drive until we demanded we did one. These people really expect there customers to buy thousands of dollars worth of product without driving it. INSANE. On day of pick up we waited 3 hours. 3 hours before anyone even told us what was going on. That day we got there at 10:16 and left at 2:00 , they are SCUM BAGS HERE. They only care about the money, they don’t care about the clients well being or if they are happy. If you can take your business to Town & Country in Levittown. Those people know how to treat a customer !! I’ll never do business again with Security, especially not with TJ Thomas.
I went to security dodge in amityville for an oil change. service was timely even though there were many vehicles waiting for an oil change. the employees were courteous, the flavored water machine was fantastic and the oil change didnt take more than an hour. i will return here to do my oil changes over east hills dodge which is closer to where i live.
I just went back to Security last week for the third time ... it is always a pleasure working with AJ! This is definitely a dealership I recommend going to because of their service & professionalism. It’s clean & runs efficiently. Brandon who walked me through all the features of my new Jeep was also fantastic.
Horrible Parts department. I ordered a brand new 2021 Jeep Wrangler at the dealership and took 6 months to receive the car. I then realized my backup camera didn’t work and they told me it was the radio that was defective. I was okay with that I understand and they ordered a new one. 4 months later, I still didn’t hear back from them. I called multiple times until someone decided to finally answer the phone and they told me they “order another radio and VIP the delivery”. I called back and now they told me that they don’t have the radios and I have to wait for them to start producing them again, because the other radios they have are already taken by other people. This is insane. On a brand new 50k+ car and I can’t even get the radio fixed.I would not recommend. Go somewhere else. Seems like this happens often with them.

They did a great job on my Dodge Ram truck repair. While I was waiting for my truck to be repaired the waiting area was inviting, which is totally shocking in the now post COVID-19 era. Everything was clean and they had multiple beverages to enjoy as you waited. The whole dealership was remodeled and everything looked bran new. The visit was a total HOME RUN. When I received my truck back from the service advisor, after repairs were completed, my steering wheel and bucket seat was wrapped in easy to remove plastic wrapping. I WAS TOTALLY IMPRESSED. If you have a Dodge, a Ram, a Chrysler and/or a Jeep vehicle, this is the place to go to have your vehicle serviced. If you want one, this is the place you want to go to buy one !!!!
I had the pleasure of working with gabby on a 2021 ram bighorn and was the best car buying experience Ive ever had. Not only was she super friendly and personable she frequently checked to see if my son needed anything adding to the family owned feeling. The great price was just a bonus along with the great attitude and helpfulness of the rest of the staff . The only problem was wasting time at other dealers, definitely going to be the first stop when my wifes lease is up.

Another dealership another scam. I got an ad about this dealership from Facebook stating they had a promotion going on.(VEHICLE UPGRADE & CREDIT APPROVAL EVENT📣🚨 Get up to $5,000 Over Kelley Blue Book for Your Trade for a LIMITED TIME ONLY!)It also stated more lies about the fake promotion. I contacted them on Facebook and was treated great. They asked me a bunch of question and was extremely helpful. Filled out the voucher which they said only the first 150 people would receive. It actually seemed like they were helping me trying to get a new car. We left off with them stating I would need these items to walk away with a new vehicle.(Do you make at least $350 per week and have you been on your job for at least 30 days?)(Please present your VIP VOUCHER upon arrival. Please bring the following: most recent pay stub or bank statement, a bill addressed to your home, drivers license, insurance card & registration. Ask for an available SALES MANAGER and tell him that your appointment was made on our Facebook Event. We will treat you like family!)Lol family thats the best part. I walked in at 12pm when my appointment started and was helped within about 5 minutes. We sit down and I bring up the Facebook event and he quickly dismisses it. The only good part about this whole interaction is that he got to the point and quickly started the credit process. Again i ask about the Facebook event and he tells me that just to bring in customers. I again ask what about the Facebook voucher they made me sign up for. He responds and says that not really anything we just put that to get people in the door. This whole encounter was extremely weird and uncomfortable. Who was I talking to on their Facebook profile, Who did I give my information too for the voucher. How is it legal for them to state all these things just to get people in the door for no reason. People have to sit in traffic, spend money for gas, and they dont care. All we are to them is dollar signs and that not right. Another dealership and another lesson learned. Some businesses really just lie to get people in and hope they buy something.
I would not recommend this dealership to anyone... Place is run by a whole family of crooks. Every manager is a relative of the owners and they all cover for each other. I had a very bad experience with one of their used cars manager, who literally went off on my 60 year old mother screaming and shouting at her after he lied to her and sold a car she left a deposit on. He made her wait for 5 hours while he made a deal with another buyer. His only excuse was that the other buyer was putting more money down for the car. When we tried to complain to the general manager, he didn’t even return our calls or emails. We called multiple times and the story was flipped that my 60 year old mother was aggressive towards him. Not even sorry or any type of remorse. It took us 3 months to get our deposit back.STAY AWAY
Walked into Jeep located in Amityville on Montauk Highway. I’ve been walking around the last 20 mins and not one sale’s person asked if I needed any help. At least 5 people were walking around not doing anything. They basically lost my business because I am a female and did not take me seriously. I ended up going to another Jeep dealership on Sunrise Highway, in Wantagh and was greeted, test drove the new Grand Cherokee L and bought it. I Don’t recommend this place AT ALL! Save yourself the drive. ✌🏼
I didnt buy my car from this dealership, but they will have my business moving forward based off of their customer service. I had rust bubbles on the hood of my Jeep which is just over 3 years old (obviously should not be happening). The dealership I bought the car from informed me that this is only covered under my basic warranty (3 years) and NOT the corrosion warranty (5 years) which didnt make sense to me. A few months later, I brought my car to Security Dodge in Amityville for a recall since it was a closer drive from my house & while I was there I pointed out the rust bubbles. I spoke with Angel & Manny who were both extremely helpful and informed me that they see this often & could be fixed no problem under the corrosion warranty. I dropped my car off on a Monday and had it back by Thursday completely fixed for free. Customer service is most important to me and they crushed it. The next time I need a car it will definitely come from this dealership.
Was my First time buying a car at a dealership and I regret it. Treated very poorly still getting the run around on a we owe ticket. Typical used car salesman there. they Just take your money and forget about you after. Service center is awful they will never call you back. Will never buy here again.
I wish I had the great experience that others had. Sales person was great, but waited 3 hours to do the finance paperwork which was after I applied for everything at home including when the credit check was done. I sat waiting and waiting and waiting. what was supposed to be a great experience turned into a nightmare.
Ever hear its too good to be true? Its not there, ask for Justin Preval and hell take care of the rest. No gimmicks, no games, and is more than understanding. Everything is up front and explained with him, no last second fees or the wait whats that fee that makes you want to walk out the door. Outstanding job by the general sales manager as well, John LaFrancesca, for making it feel like Im welcomed. Already referred and recommended to others.
I went in for a simple oil change. My car came out damaged/scratched on the drivers side passenger door. I immediately had Jim, the service manager come out and check it. He said it looked like a bike handle scratched it, I assured him that that scratch was not there when I brought it in. He then said well the good news is that it could be buffed out. I said does this sound correct to you that I brought my car in for an oil change and it came out scratched and the best you could offer is that it can be buffed out? He then said let him have my paperwork and he will check all the cameras and get back to me on Monday. He never got back to me. We called and he said give him some more time and he would get back to us by Friday. That was two weeks ago. He has no called us back. He has not returned out calls and we continue to call we are placed on hold for 20 minutes and then disconnected. We are going to follow up with the owner of the dealership. We have been loyal customers and have purchased our last three cars from this establishment. Needless to say we are beyond disgusted and have no confidence in Jim the new service manager. I believe he is trying to erase all proof that we were even there by taking my original paperwork and not addressing this issue.
Have purchased 4 cars in last 4 years from security dodge and hands down the best !! They treat you like family and have the best deals ! Only Dodge dealer to buy from . Honestly this was by the best experience Ive ever had leasing a vehicle after being dismissed from a few other dodge dealerships because Im young, Security dodge took the time to explain everything in great detail, John Ciura! What an absolute awesome and honest salesman, real down to earth guy and knows what hes talking about! Honestly if youre in the market for a truck head on over to Amityville security dodge! 10 out of 10 experience will be back when the lease is up to get another Truck.
After visiting numerous dealerships and being indecisive I was recommended to try Security Dodge. I truly felt no connection with any of the salespeople I dealt with every where else. They just wanted to sell me, make a buck but they werent really listening to my needs. Until here. Jason waters was probably one of the best sales people I have ever encountered with. He wasnt pushy, really listened to all the needs I wanted, extremely knowledgeable and most importantly -my budget. Weeks later and Im still smiling over my truck... When I first bought my car in July I was set up with a gentleman name Jason and from the moment we were set up he was nothing but nice and not pushy like most salesman. He gave me space to look around he didnt hover over me like he was pushing a sell on me it was very refreshing. I just recently got my oil changed from then and that was the fast oil change I ever had done. I highly recommend them as I drive from Queens NY to go to them. If you do go ask for Jason hes the man!
Terrible experience. Buy at your own risk. They are very tricky. My husband purchased a car about a week ago a Honda Pilot. I am in the process of giving back that car. Our first experience with TJ(sales rep) was wonderful. When my husband went to pick up the car is where the problems began. The paperwork went fine, the vehicle was then pulled to front for my husband to drive away with. When my husband enter the car he noticed there was only one key. He IMMEDIATELY inquired about this. At this time TJ disappeared, my husband was told they would look into the missing key. My husband was told TJ had left for the day. From that point on he would mostly only respond to my husband via text. We persisted and asked about the missing key which we was never told was missing before purchasing the vehicle. TJ said he would reach out to the previous owner in order to inquire about the key. I then asked what would be the next step if the previous owner does not have the key? Who would be replacing the key? TJ said that would be a managers decision and he would be in contact with us. Again that was not true my husband had to reach out to TJ. Finally on Friday September 11, my husband spoke to a manager. He was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. He again told us the same story that TJ had already told us which was he is going to reach out to the previous owner. My husband informed the manager that, that was not acceptable that he felt that he was being given the run around especially when TJ already told us this story. That is when this manager told my husband that if we want a car with two keys we should buy a brand new car from Honda. I am truly disgusted by this dealership. This is the worse experience of buying a car in my life. I have bought three used cars from Honda and I have never been treated like this. I would never recommend a place like this. This is not how business should be conducted at all. BUYER SHOULD BE AWARE OF THIS BUSINESS. Yes we were told that yes we can call Honda and have a new key made at our own cost and the key that we received battery was about to die. If you do not know how to deal with the public, then you should not be in business.
Brought my truck in for service. Service team was welcoming and addressed me very professionally. Took note of all my concerns. They took all precautions in regards to customer safety and social distancing. The staff is very friendly and clean cut. Great experience recommend going to them.
The world we live now is scary ,you only live once and it’s been rare to come across real genuine people. Aj was amazing. Not pushy, no BS just a stand up guy. Had a great experience with him and Raja ,if I want another car he would be the one I return too and I will be sharing his name with others. Went to the used vehicle lot, at least five employees walking around and maybe one helping a customer. I was there with my two boys checking out the Wranglers. Even opening and sitting in them. Not one employee even ask if I need help or anything and yes I made eye contact and they just kept walking or stood on there phone. 1 ⭐️Update: left message for Natalie didn’t hear back. I went to dealership again to look at some vehicles and went into show room and the employees were very nice in their. Needless to say I purchased a Jeep the employees were very fair. I am a little taken back the the Jeep I purchased on its sticker did say it has a soft top and wasn’t given to me. They mentioned they take it out on returns. Considering price of Jeep should have been included since it came with the Jeep out of factory. I will raise to 3 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Dropped off my car for service before the snow storm. I have a Jeep Compass 2018.. the steering wheel would lock up on me, all the lights on dash board appeared, it would slow down, so many things wrong and I was told a simple oil change would do it. I got stuck in the snow with my two year old son, for them to send me a tow after an hour in the snow. What was the point of dropping off my car before the storm to get stuck in it because they improperly checked my car. To end up saying it was a system update issue in the end. THEN come to find out the guy who delivered my car to me the next day got me a speeding ticket while delivering the car to me. I worked remotely from work that day and it stood parked up because of the snow!!! and if it wasnt for me checking if I owe any tickets, I would have never knew. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!
As always, great experience at Security Dodge in Amityville. All staff is friendly. Can’t say enough about Jesse (sales), JR, and Tom (finance). All are very knowledgeable, personable and accommodating. From beginning to end, white glove service. This is my second lease at this location, and although I plan to move out of state, I’ll be back at this location for servicing and my next vehicle. 5 stars is an understatement.
Second terrible experience with this dealer. Brought a car in for warranty work and then they claim it needs a new engine. Showed the pictures to two friends who own mechanic shops and they said absolutely not. They then refused to do the warranty work. Had a terrible experience buying and now a terrible experience getting service done. Believe what other people are saying they are the worst on the island complete sharks.
Had oil change and tire rotation. When I went to pay with my credit card, I was told there is a 4% charge to do so. Ok, Visa charges 2%, why is the dealer ripping me off for 2% more? I bought the car there and have serviced it there for 5 years. No longer they lost a customer. The girl at the desk told me if I gave them a bad review, Michele would lose her job. Pretty sleazy if you ask me.
I had a great experience with this dealership. The entire staff was knowledgeable and helpful. I called in to get information on a Ram I was interested in, and Martin was very helpful. He passed my contact details on to Jesse who was my salesman. He did a great job on the test drive - telling me all the details and features of the truck. Didnt try to hard sell me which I found very refreshing at a dealership. Jesse was nice enough to get my Ram prepared the very next day and even came in on his day off. From there, I signed the remainder of the paper with Tom, in finance. He was great and took care of me. 5 stars and I will be back as well as recommending customers for them.
Horrible buying experience. Purchased an $81,000.00 truck and was forced into signing an illegal prepayment penalty contract and not allowed to put a large down-payment down or I would loss my rebates. Was also given a truck with parts removed do to recall without any communication to me. Buying process took so long.. noticed that the truck had paint chips and damaged leather when I got home. Sales manager said if the problems are reported within two days of delivery they will address.... LIED. Driving 1 month overdue on my temp tags currently. Never again will I not buy local.
Terrible place to get a lease or buy a car. The salesman that took care of my and my family was horrible. He kept insisting that a brand new jeep was a better option and that he can give a better deal with a brand new jeep compared to a used one?! Deals should be other way around. The salesman was not explaining things thoroughly and he was rushing to get a sale going. NEVER go to his dealership. I suggest going to a different one, youll have a better representative. This place only thinks about MONEY and not the CUSTOMER. I had to give it a 1 star or else it wont let me post. ZERO STARS for this dealership.

Walked in and was greeted immediately they parked me up with Jason Waters really great person to work with he did everything in his power to get me out of there with the car I wanted. Then I spoke with Suyapa Cruz who helped me get the best deal on my insurance for a first time car owner. At first my premium was 500 then she kept looking and looking and got me with Allstate with a premium of 330. Couldnt be happier with my experience there. I dont like that I had to fill the car up myself or that I have to do the photo inspection but other than that very satisfied.
Traded in and up from our Nissan Rogue to a Jeep Grand Cherokee. We were introduced to Jesse to help us with our trade in and lease. He was wonderful from the start. Listened to our needs and requirements for the new vehicle. Was patient, kind, and walked us through the entire process. He was AMAZING!!! Highly recommend Jesse.
They havent made good on a missing key fob for a used vehicle we bought in June...stopped returning calls, gave us the runaround constantly... you would think a $300 part would be worth keeping a customer happy...I will never go back.Edit 10/16/20 -- Natalie could not be more helpful and got everything taken care of...I still dont like that I had to rate them poorly to get a call back, but they did make good on what they said they would.
Have nothing good to say about this place.. i have bought numerous cars in the past years and rate Security bottom of my purchases. First of all they ran my credit 5 times to get me the best rate, my credit score is well over 800. They got me a 6.19 percent rate. I bought a Dodge charger 2 months earlier with a lower credit score and got 3.89 for the same term. Just last week i co-signed a car loan with my daughter... zero credit history they called her a ghost and still got a 5.1, even after my score was knocked down double digits....so did they get me the best rate or did they get themselves the best rate for them??? Plus they make you sign a form that you cannot refinance for 5 months... which i believe in New York it is illegal (pre-payment penalty) ... and that answer i received from three other dealers. They say(meaning used car manager said) it explains on the website (instead of showing me it on website he sat back in his chair) that you sign a prepayment agreement to get the 1000 bonus..i still cant find that. They try to say its not a prepayment penalty but it is.. and they make you sign a paper but dont give you a copy of that paper.... I wonder why? I traded in two vehicles and 15 business days later neither company was paid for the trade- ins... when i called tj was out, was directed to a male that took my info and said he will get right back to me and hung up before giving me a name. Two hours later no call back, i call no one knows anything, i get transferred around and hung up on. I call back finally get someone who said they forget to sign the check . Four days later finally both places received payment.. they knocked my credit score down double digits by running my credit 5 times, lucky I made early payments on the two i traded in or i would have late payments on both. I refused all additional coverages but their is a 2500 IDDS (3 year protection plan)on my bill. Which i was told was how they had to work the deal. Which there was no deal as i paid what they were asking. If you planning on purchasing a car from here make sure you read the paperwork prior to signing anything and look out for the phrase ...this is what we have to do to work the deal. I call August 23, 2020 to get answers... on hold for ten minutes just to here that the used car manager was busy with a customer. Had to drive there just to speak to him. I ask to have contract canceled he said the finance guy, I didn’t remember his name I said jay ...JD even gave him a copy of paper initialed by JD. I knew his name was jay by the dealerrater review but he said he wasnt there and it was Sunday no one was really there to help me and they would take care of it tomorrow, but as i sat outside typing this the guy JD walked past my car twice.. (They open at 9 on Monday, 3 hours after opening still no call. Thats how important customers are after a purchase).I went back in and waited to talk to the other used car manager, he had no time for me until i was having a conversation with a friend that walked in.. I was telling him about how I was being treated by the employees... he promptly walked out after i explained my situation. This caused the manager to finally engage me in a conversation raise his voice and get nasty and say i never said any name of finance guy which i told him j something ...Jd, (play back the tape.. its clear Jd was said) this made me request that i deal with only the dealership’s overall manager.. So he handed me his card with a name on back no contact information for her. (The owners assistant). Called at 1230 (Monday) since customers matter and i haven’t heard anything, spoke with operator after explaining my situation for 2 minutes, I was put on hold waiting to speak to emily.. 12 minutes later phone disconnects..call back operator answers says please hold, about 20 minutes later she gets on and asks if i can help you then explains Emily isnt taking calls and will take a message. All I’m trying to do is cancel a contract (which states i have the right to cancel within sixty days)
Excellent experience, from the time I walked in until I drove away in my new Jeep was like all one could possibly expect, smooth, and a family atmosphere in a professional environment. Would highly recommend Security Dodge for all your wants and needs, stand up, quality folks. Oh and their products speak for themselves.
When I stopped by this dealership in search of my new care I didn’t expect much. From the moment that I walked in the door. The degree of excellence was outstanding. I was greeted by a couple of sales reps and was lead to Junior. From his professionalism to his ease of the buying process made everything amazing. Went to the dealer because o was pre approved by capital one for well above what I needed to pay for my truck I gave all that information to the finance guy and found out he ran my credit report to fine a better rate but keep in mine I was all ready done with the research IE capital one. So when he pump my information to the credit Bureau it created 5 hard inquiries which caus My credit score to plummet This all could have been avoided by just using capital one witch i gave him in the beginning.
I made an appointment today for 6:30 PM to test drive a new Compass . When I arrived I waited for thirty minutes without being greeted. I was told that due to the pandemic, they were short staffed and could not help me (Not an excuse at this point). They told me to make an appointment. When I explained that I had already made an appointment, they told me to come back tomorrow. Very poor customer service and lack of organization. I was ready to lease a new Jeep today and was very disappointed. I will be taking my business elsewhere. You guys really need to get your act together and have some form of supervision in the showroom. You lost an easy sale.
Great Salesman !! Great Sales Manager !!Awesome finance rep !!Security had the most stock of trucks I’ve ever seen and my salesman took me to see most of them. Even after I picked out my new truck I found one I liked better. The Sales Manager said if I like that one more it would be no problem. He just wanted me to be 100% happy.Even though all the paperwork had to be done over, my salesman and the finance rep all worked together to make it happen. It was a real team effort !! I scheduled an appt online to visit a used charger (2018) I saw advertised there. After waiting about a half hour, they seemed to be lost in space, I was sent to Michelle. She told me they didnt have that car in stock anymore. Great, I understand first come first serve. However, to inquiry about a new car, seemed to be a waste of time for her as she said she didnt have any 19 or 20 Hemi 5.7 Chargers. Didnt know if she was getting any in and couldnt order one for whatever reason. She couldnt even lie to me about a call if something came in.Its all true what they say about car sales people especially here at security dodge. Walked out of there stunned and with an extremely bad taste in my mouth. I had to chew gum.I urge you to shop other dealers before considering this farce.If thats her advertising on the radio, she should stop. Her voice is like nails on a chalkboard. Irritating and makes me change the station.

I went into the dealer with no knowledge of what I needed for my family of 5. Elvis listened to me, was very attentive and treated me with lots of professionalism. Gave me all the options to fit my needs. I did not feel pressured by him. He did not rush me. I returned with my husband, just to make sure I would not get ripped off. His prices were definitely better than all competitors. Elvis went above & beyond — locating a specific vehicle, delivering it to me, receiving my old lease. He even returned on his day off, which was the only day I was able to make the purchase. Thanks so much for your patience with me, Elvis. That was the easiest purchase I have made in my entire life!!
This dealership only has fully loaded vehicles and are refusing to do dealer trades if they don’t have the vehicle you want. Working with Elvis was a nightmare he was aggressive, rude, spoke over us and even put his hand in my aunts face. He told us his manager (Giuseppe) told us to have a nice day if we didn’t feel like paying over our budget for a vehicle with features we didn’t ask for. As we were leaving he decided to come back just to tell us “oh that special rebate we offered you just got given to someone else so have a nice day” as if we would be hurt by this? Miguel was the salesperson i was initially supposed to work with he ended up calling me and couldn’t believe what i told him happened. We’re now at browns.

Dave Garcia was a true professional and got me a great deal on my 2020 1500 Dodge Ram that I could not refuse.
Very very disappointed with this dealership, ever since we bought our jeep Ive been having issues after issues with the jeep, then on top of that their customer service is the worst they talk to you like if you asking for free stuff.. you call them almost an hour waiting for someone to come to the phone, leave messages and no one calls you back.. very bad service!!👎
I had a great experience at Security Dodge - My sales rep was Marissa. She truly was a great help! She was very knowledgeable, pleasant and extremely patient with me during the entire process of making my final decision. She went above and beyond to make me happy and I enjoyed her professional demeanor through the entire process and her constant smiles no matter what questions I asked. To top it all off - Marissa told me I could leave with the car that day, which took me by complete surprise since I was only walking in to see what my options where (pricing wise). Marissa is the reason that I purchased my new 2018 Jeep Compass. She listened and understood where I needed to be with my payments - she did not play back and forth salesperson games which was such a nice change from the 6 other dealerships I had previously visited. I am very pleased with my purchase, with Marissa, and the overall superior customer experience.
Came here on a referral after a less than satisfactory experience at another Jeep Dealer. Great Experience. Met by the Sales Manager, Sunny, who was very pleasant and put us in touch with Marissa. She was great! No hard sell, very congenial; answered all questions and helped pinpoint the exact vehicle we were looking for. Worked out a great deal with Marissa and Sunny and then Marissa went over to the Sunrise Lot to get the Jeep for us to test drive.Marissa offered to put us into the car that same day, and she delivered. It did drag a little - - but mostly because the dealership was jam-packed and everyone was very busy. Was able to drive out with the new car, as promised; at a lease rate that I found extremely competitive. Dealership - - and service area- - immaculate. Very professionally run; very pleasant environment. Would buy here again.
Came in looking for a certain car at a certain price, Mike S got everything wrapped up in 30 minutes including showing me the car in person. When I picked up all the paperwork was printed in advance, no waiting 3 hours for them to scramble getting everything done. Very happy with my Grand Cherokee, will definitely be returning for my next lease and service.
Bought a 2017 Ram 1500 limited here 4 months ago, the sales team was great at that time. Last week truck was not starting so took into there service center, and that’s where it was a joke. Waited two full days with no calls about my truck, left several messages and finally had to go in person. Was told it was not ever looked at yet, and was promised it would be looked at that day and they would keep in touch with me. Well Friday came and still no calls from anyone. Went down there to pick up my truck and raise hell. When I got there they said it would be ready in ten minutes that they had to replace a battery and it would be 314.00 to do so, it should have been covered since I just bought the truck from them a couple of months before. Or they should have just gave it to me for free because of the stress they caused. So basically it tool them 5 full days to replace a battery which they did not even know the name of the battery they put in. Then left 3 messages for the service manager and still no call back. Stay away from here! Trust me

2022-05-02I bought a used car from them and the most expensive warranty, they promise me the car going to look like new detailed cleaning inside outside. I picked up the car when they told me it was ready. The car was dirty, nothing done, not even vacuumed... very disappointed!OMG after they returned me my nasty dirty car I took it to detailing. Detailer found a big dent on the roof (picture including). I called the dealer. He told me to bring the car in and the manager is going to look at it. The mean manager tried first to convince me that this is how it suppose to be, I didnt buy that and then he said I was supposed to look car better when Im buying and now Im on my own. DONT BUY CARS from them they are SCAM artists!! P.S. Please check their reviews on Facebook!!! I wish I saw that before....

Tom Sweeney was very helpful in getting me in the car I wanted for a price I could manage. He was honest and upfront about everything and gave me the peace of mind I needed. The entire process was seamless and worry free. Even in the following days Tom did an amazing job following up with me and making sure everything went well. Ive been to many other dealers but would only recommend Security.

2022-07-08Had a great experience shopping for my new car! Even with all the shortages in the car industry they were able to get me exactly what I wanted and quickly. Blake was awesome to work with and took the time to really show us and discuss our options. After I made my decision the buying process was simple and he kept in touch really well until the sale went through (and even a few days later to make sure everything was good). If you’re looking for an honest, straight forward dealership that really cares about their customers this is the place!

2022-02-17Security is truly the best dealership on the island, from the service department, to their sales department, every single person that works there is so helpful and accommodating. I went to the dealership on 02/15/2022 for an oil change on the express lane, not knowing that they recently changed their hours. Michele, the advisor in the service department made me aware of the recent changes but I had gotten there right when they were closing and she said they werent taking anymore appointments. I explained to her that I drove an hour to the dealership and really needed the oil change. She did her magic and was able to fit me in as the last customer of the day and the oil change was done super fast! I thanked Michele probably 20 times and told her she truly was the best. I highly recommend Security for all car needs, they are one of a kind!

2022-01-05My Jeep 2021 Compass is my fifth vehicle purchase with Security Dodge Chrysler Jeep. This dealership is one of the Best on Long Island. I was due for an oil change and when I pulled into the service dept I was greeted by Michele, the service advisor. Told her I needed an oil change and tire rotation and she told me it would be about 3 hours. I had to have it done because I couldnt get in during the upcoming week, so I said Id wait in the waiting room. The showroom was hopping with customers. They were very busy getting new vehicles prepped for their new owners. I made myself comfortable, answered some emails, send some texts and roughly an hour and maybe 20 minutes later Michele came over to me and told me my car was all done. Michele was extremely professional and a pleasure to deal with. I have never had an unpleasant experience at this dealership. Thank you.

2022-05-27The entire experience was A+ from start to finish. Reception is cordial, friendly, and fast-responsive. The dealership has a comfortable, inviting feel, and all salespeople are knowledgeable about their vehicles. Finance and Management is also top notch. Most importantly, they were able to accomplish the best financial package with the best and most equipped vehicle. All things considered, I highly recommend this dealership, and can say nothing negative about the experience.

2022-02-18My experience was amazing!!!! Frank my salesperson was helpful, thoughtful and honest. Frank was able to put me in a SUV that I really wanted within a price range I could afford! I absolutely love my new Jeep Compass! If you need a new car or truck I would definitely recommend you visit this dealership and ask for Frank Andrade in Sales and Tom Dunn in finance both are amazing! 2022-04-07I had a wonderful experience with Travis at Security Dodge. He was fabulous to work with and made the process very simple and smooth. Travis also followed up with me a few days later to make sure everything was going well. Tom in finance was also very helpful and pleasure to work with. I shopped around before coming to Security and have to say they provided me with the best customer service and would recommend if you’re looking for a new vehicle to visit Travis.
