SEFCU Insurance agency was offered to me when I refinanced a previous car. The signup was quick and convenient, the auto pay through the credit union is very convenient with the added email anouncements when payments would be taken and then confirmed.A minor accident proved to be extremely easy and very seamless where I was given one focus person who handed the body shop that I chose and the auto rental. Basically the insurance, the body shop and auto rental exceeded all expectations. Thanks to all, everyone is to be highly recommended.Robert W. Morehouse
I canceled insurance with SEFCU about four months ago and long story short they ended up taking close to 1,000 dollars out of my account while I wasnt even insurance by them so I was paying two car insurance companies at the same time ! What makes it even worse is I had to e-mail them a dozen of times and then have to ask for the manager to even get answers as well as things done...it took weeks for me to even my money back! I would not recommend them to any of my friends or family.

Went to this sefcu location for first time and the staff was awesome. Very knowledgeable, polite amd was extremely fast opening an new account! Even with all this covid stuff they still exceeded my expectations.

This Branch is clueless.Tried to open an acct with a Certified Bank Check and The manager there refused to honor her Companies Policy ,was co0ndescending,rude ,UNINFORMED of Company policy. Thus leaving me embarassed in a full branch,refused to give me her name and when I asked her to look at her companies policy online she told me the WEBSITE was Wrong..Needless to say I went to the Branch on ALBANY St. and was treated with top level professionalism and courtesy . the companies Policy was followed to the letter thus making me happy and SEFCU obtaining another member...Stay away from this State street branch as your primary acct holder..State Street Downtown branch is nothing but bush league novice Bankers save yourself the stress and ignorance of the management at the 469 STATEW ST. Branch and get the service you deserve with class and a smile at the 900 block of Albany St. Branch of SEFCU!!!

2022-07-28I added my 17 year old son to my auto policy and my rate with a major insurance provider that I had been with for almost 20 years went up over $300/month. SEFCU got back to me in the same day with a quote from another major insurance company and my insurance only increased $70/month for my auto and home. Being a SEFCU member made it super easy as they were able to set up automatic monthly payments from my account. I would highly recommend SEFCU insurance.

2022-08-04You go to a bank, you transact business, mostly automated and you leave. Not sure of the difference between a Credit Union and a bank, I enjoyed doing business with them for many years and was never disappointed, apparently change is absolutely inevitable.So I am a member once again, I believe the experience will continue being enjoyable.

2020-10-27My former insurance company kept increasing the cost of my policy for using their roadside assistance that they recommended. I was fed up and looking to find an insurance company that would provide excellent service at a reasonable price. I decided to give SEFCU Insurance Agency a chance, it was one of the best decisions Ive ever made. They intermittently check rates to ensure that you are getting the best possible price and coverage. I couldnt ask for a better insurance agency.

2022-01-17Dont get me wrong, this is a great bank, but everytime I go here there is a massive line. Even if I go when they open there are always people waiting outside. The best thing about this branch is the atm inside the building when using it by myself
