Amazing help and service, the woman working front desk on northern Blvd on 10/14 helped me get into my units after I was locked out. With her help and JR the utility guy, I was able to get access right away when I was desperate to get in. Great staff.

Its my first time ever dealing with a storage facility and let me tell you, I made the right choice. The prices are inexpensive, the staff is very proficient and the facility is very clean. I enjoy the connivance of dropping off and picking up my property when I want to. I highly recommended Cube Smart to all my friends and family. Cube Smart IS the way to go if you want a safe place to store your property and a great value.
I was looking for a storage around here and went to a location before Cube Smart by mistake. They were so complicated. I found CubeSmart simple. I got there, talked to someone in the office, asked the options and price, and that was it. He walked me to show me a unit and I said okay. I parked the car in the garage, everything was simple. Open gate with a code, use a cart they have for transportation, put my staff there, locked (I had to buy a lock), and went home. That simple. The space I picked was the smaller one (I only have a couple of boxes) but even being the cheapest, the storage was flawless, with climatization on the unit, perfect. The previous location started saying buts when I asked the small space they have... I received a login in and password and now I can manage my account via web. I am happy with CubeSmart
My experience with customer service exceeded my expectations. The facilities and offices are clean. I went to two locations to see which one would be a better fit for me. Both locations have been very friendly. I wanted to personally thank Michelle for her amazing customer service at the 30-25 Northern Blvd. location. She took the time to explain everything to me and was very friendly and professional the entire time. Im very happy with my decision of renting a storage space at this facility.
Best self storage in LIC!!! The employees here are the best and extremely helpful. Jess (amazing person) helped me out completely and I can honestly say I had no questions as she perfectly explained everything. For several months there was a moth infestation. So much for those woolens.The locations are good, but the hours are short. They close pretty early st the end of the day— 7p , but’t open until 8a. Which means during the week at their most convenient locations, rush hour traffic rules.The prices seem high to me especially adding in the moth infestation damage.On the upside, the staff is very nice and they try very hard.
We found everything was great especally the people. They were very nice,very competent and friendly. We met 4 employees. Congrats to Ashley ,your manager for running such a great ship. My wife and i are very happy we selected the cube smart at northern.blvd
I have nothing but good things to say about this location! Very professional and clean. The manager, Jeselyn Ayala was great! She was very polite and best of all had a very nice personality! I recommend this specific location to anyone. It was my first time doing business with Cube Smart and I am 100% satisfied.👍

Such a good clean place! The managers Branson and Humberto were really nice and helpful with me and my partner. It was our first time using storage and moving our things so we didnt even know where to begin. They even stayed a later then the usual closing time so that we could move everything in because unfortunately our movers didnt make it on time. But I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location.
The whole storage rental experience was smooth and efficient. Took me 10 mins to apply online and the place was very clean. Highly recommend!
The storage has so much dust. My very expensive bed was destroyed with dust mites. It seems no one bothers to clean . They over charged by increasing rent three times in less than two years. Cubesmart should be ashamed for doing this during a pandemic but Im sure they do it with pride. I would never recommend them unless you like limited hours, rude management and paying for a storage size 10 x 10 and getting less.
I had a great experience with cube smart. I personally want to congratulate cube-smart for having Humberto Jeremy and Branson in the staff. They are 3 wonderful individuals.They are very kind attentive and polite. They possess great customer service skills. They are patient professional. They sometimesgo out of their schedules even after hours to make sure the customers well attended and satisfied Thank you for your free month.
The staff at the LIC location was very friendly and professional. The facility is well-kept, clean, and easy to access. Humberto, the manager, was very helpful in setting up my account and answering all my questions, and he gave great customer service. It was easy to set up and move in my belongings to the storage unit.
I am from out of town and my son is studying in the city. I needed to store his things for the summer break. Ashley was very kind, understanding and super helpful. We were able to move his stuff without any headaches. The customer service was great.
Michelle was super helpful and very clear in explaining EVERYTHING and made sure I knew exactly what I was paying for. Very nice, clean, facility. Was able to get in and get pictures of my unit before actually moving stuff. All the staff members that I had contact with were very professional and friendly. I have been a CubeSmart cuber for two months and had already filled up my cube. I am so happy with the storage facility, which is secure, well-lit, very clean and climate controlled. No more clutter in my 1 BR apt. Im so happy that I went to get a second cube because Id already filled up the first one. Michelle helped me find one for my bikes and then - with absolutely no pressure - helped me find an even bigger one that could accommodate my bikes, all at only $150/month! Victor and Maria coordinated the move-in to the cube once Michelle set it up. I am so grateful to all three of them for their superb professionalism, quick service, no-pressure sales and absolute responsiveness to my needs. If you want a storage facility where you feel like youre visiting a high-class hotel or spa, this is the place! Thank you to Michelle, Victor and Maria. And thanks as well to Nedra, who helped me the first time I came. Yes, theyve definitely WOW-ed me!! Very happy customer grateful for five-star service.
2016– I had a particularly peculiar case in which my initial reservation was unusable due to a leak in the building, the staff was extraordinarily helpful in accommodating my reservation, though it had to be in two separate units, that was not an issue. When I needed to close out one of the units to accommodate changing storage space needs, the staff went out of their way to make sure I was able to make the switch and to the most efficient use of both space and budget. I would highly recommend this CubeSmart to anyone in need of extra space.—2021 update! I am still a customer, still overly satisfied with their customer service and facility. The carpet is clean, the air is clean, the units are clean and the staff is super helpful. I recommend this particular location because of those things — if you need storage come to Cubesmart LIC!
This was my very first time renting a storage and I must say I am very impressed. Ofir was amazing she walked me through the whole process in a very helpful and professional manner. Although I have not rented at this location yet. I felt the need to come and share my experience. I am currently renting at safeguard storage , I recently went into my storage and found that my things had been chewed up by rodents. Immediately I began to search for brand new storage companys. I happen to drive pass the store one day on my way to major world. The big blue building caught my eye so I decided to go in. I have another month at safeguard so I just went to shop. Kimberley one of the managers was very patient with me even though I had no intentions of renting. One thing that I was paranoid was rodents. The facility was very well kept. The carpets were clean and when I asked about if they had any rodents she made sure to explain that I had nothing to worry about. Nowadays you dont find good customer service everywhere especially when people feel like your waiting their time. I am currently residing in Brooklyn and it would be a drive to go out to Long Island city but honestly its worth it. I will be back once my month is completed at safeguard.
I went to other storage places and this one is the best. Super clean and friendly staff. I had an amazingly good experience having Jeselyn Ayala guide me through the whole process. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would for the high quality customer service! The phone agent helped us find the right size unit that we needed. The prices were great! Better than multiple options around Queens and Long Island. Humberto in the facility explained all the details clearly, was friendly, was able to answer all my questions, and made the whole sign up process easy and quick. Very good experience checking in at CubeSmart. First time renter and the staff was helpful when explaining all the plans and showing me the lockers. They also helped manage my reservation and change it a couple of times due to changes on my moving date. Humberto and Branson were great help. If they are on the store when you go in you will be in good hands.

He helped me understand the whole process, was my saving grace when I realized the unit I originally requested was too small, and needed a larger unit on the spot, and answered all my questions. I have been using the locker here for almost two years. Jeremy and ashley they are such a hardworker. Willingness to help customers all the time when you need it (when you lost your key to the locker, they can help you open it up, or when you need to vacate and need to get rid of your stuff they come yo help you out for very little fee). I had no difficulty using their service at all times. Appreciate their great service
The location was easy in and out. The facility was clean, well lit, secure. I loved that the entire process, from move in to move out was contactless. Management was responsive in a super timely manner and always very friendly.
I would like to commend Humberto for always providing excellent and professional customer service. He goes above and beyond what you would normally see and its obvious that he cares about customers. We started a lease on a storage unit and the whole process has been really seamless. We rented the van which was free with our lease for 4 hours to move our stuff into the unit - no catch. The staff was friendly, informative and helpful and the facility is very clean, well lit and modern. Id recommend to anyone in the Astoria/LIC area who needs storage.

Very satisfied. BRAND NEW place with carpeting all over the floors. Climate control, nice staff to help you whenever you need help., And even a nice bathroom. No 24 hours access, but open for decent amount of time from 8 AM till 7 PM. Also decent prices and very easy check in.Highly recommended.
My boyfriend and I were in the process of moving so we decided to come to cubesmart to look at some storage. We were having a rough day and thought this would be a process itself ... When I went to cube smart storage I was interested in a locker unit which was available in affordable plus the insurance was also a additional change in was added to my monthly bill. At cube smart you can go in 24 hours a day in seven day a week. In the staff are very helpful in polite.
Absolutely stellar customer service. We drove all day from Ohio and arrived at 5pm to unload a truck full of stuff, and manager Humberto graciously let us stay until we finished. (Almost an hour after they normally close!) Absolutely would reccommend.

The service is pretty good. Their prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and helpful. My only issue is that their hours arent conducive for the typical working person since they close at 7 pm. You may have to plan your visits around the weekend depending on your schedule.
MARCUS, the store manager is absolutely AMAZING. He is super calm and collected, while your life and move is undergoing turmoil. He explains everything very carefully, clearly and patiently. He is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I wish more people in this world had his demeanor and sensibility around others. I had so many bad experiences with other storage and customer service in my past 7 years in NY. This location was by far the best in facility, maintenance and customer service. Nedra and her crew were so helpful and friendly.The storage is very well kept and clean. Nedra explained that they have never had leaks or other problems.I was lucky to get 15% off online + first month free online when I reserved online and there were no problems with that promotion when I went to pay.Nedra and her team followed up right after I made the reservation and also 3 days before I moved in to make sure I bring everything I need.Thank You!

Super, super excellent service. Humberto and Branson were extremely helpful every time I visited, helped me out whenever they could, and graciously answered my million questions. Good location (walking distance from Queens Plaza trains) and competitive rates. They even let you downsize your unit mid-month at a prorated rate.Just watch out for the fees (first-month fees, mandatory monthly insurance, unit downsize fee) and note that theres no dumpster to throw away small items.
Mr. Umberto and his staff are very good at what they do and are very serviceable. This place is tidy and well lit. It would be great if they had more handtrucks and dollies available. The storage is easy to access and if one maximizes its space efficiently, many things can fit in it.Ps: ask about price increase... storage places make their ROI long-term. So if you are getting what you think is a great deal, find out on paper when your next price increase and how much it will be.
Humberto Branson and Jeremy are great team. They were always helpful and went above and beyond to help me with my storages needs. I had to stay after hours but they stayed with me until i finished my move in. I would definitely recommend this location!!!!!!!!!!! They all should get a raise!!!!!!!!!!
This place is awesome! Made a reservation online and came by the next day to view the space and my mine was blown. Maria greeted us and gave us a tour of the building and showed me different units on different floors and really helped getting me a unit tha would fit my needs. Once I found the unit I needed, they were able to reserve that specific unit and was even able to hold it until my move in date 2 weeks later. I was so pleased that I decided to sign my lease right then and there anyway. There was a slight issue with pricing since I switched to a bigger unit than what I reserved, but Maria and Marcus helped me lock in the rate that was advertised earlier that day. They were extremely helpful and took a stressful time of my life and made it a breeze. Thank you so much!!!

Great customer service from the managers Humberto Branson and Nedra. Jeremy the maintenance is very good and is always cleaning. The only bad thing is that they close at 7pm. I use CubeSmart in Queens for work, it’s pretty close to the office. Definitely the best experience I’ve had in a storage facility - it’s clean, easy to use and the branding’s pretty cool. Also the staff is helpful and friendly. Humberto, Branson and Jeremy are always smiling and helping with recommendations and point me the right direction when I need something. Highly recommended! The storage units themselves are convenient and the red looks nice :)

Staff is helpful prompt and courteous. Units and entire place is clean. Good security and loading and unloading accessibility. Units are carpeted which is a plus. Plenty of quality dollies to move you stuff. Elevators are large. The moving subcontractor service was good and pleasant too.

This facility is great and provides great customer service!! Kimberly is always very helpful. Nedra is a new manager but takes care of any issues I have with a smile. Indera always makes sure that Im doing okay , and even goes a step further to offer me water and coffee. The ladies at this faculty even help me move the packages that gets delivered for my company. I would recommend this facility to anyone.
Its a very new, very clean place. The bathroom is very well-maintained (Ive been in places where this was lacking). Customer service is great. Miles, Nedra, and Kimberly were truly helpful representatives. I definitely recommend this CubeSmart location highly, and could see myself renting with them again in the future. They even have free Wi-Fi, pipe in music to keep your mood positive while on their premises, as well the amenity of receipt of [special courier-delivered] packages (which is helpful for those who have experienced problems with receiving packages). I also found their climate control to be truer than many other self storage facilities that Ive done business with over the years, which was a huge relief for me as I needed to spend extra time there to perform extensive sorting.
The Cube Smart facility where I store my items is super clean, convenient and all around aesthetically appealing. The staff there are very hospitable and the manager Nedra Bryant in particular is the constant professional. And shes absolutely beautiful. I want to date her.Bravo Cube Smart!⭐️

Excellent place for self storage. The Hispanic guy is the best costumer service; the others are just bored doing their job and you can tell. Other than that I recommend this place 100 % but i agree witj J there is no dumpsters so if i want to throw something away i have to pay extra $$ for the service. I guess i have to rent a truck to move some furniture away to the closest dumpster 😒

It was a wonderful experience made possible by the very helpful staff, especially the site manager, Myles. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The staff was increadibly patient and helpful with us. They went way above and beyond. They showed us multiple units till we found the right one. Then they even helped out with the move in and understood when we ran late moving in. To stay after closing to make sure we got in ok is unheard of! Thanks again Myles and all the other friendly staff that helped us out. They all made sure we had everything we need but also made sure others had it too. The intercom system is great and the load in was so easy because of the great lay out of the place. Weather protected lot and we didnt have to fight for a space! Not to mention it is by far the cleanest storage facility Ive ever step foot in.

I have been using this place for while since they opened up and it is by far best storage around. Branson and Humberto communicates well and the facility is by far the best in Queens.

Marcus, the manager at Cube Smart was very attentive showing us the different options to obtain the unit. We are very happy with the customer service that was provided by Marcus and the the rest of the staff as well and we are very likely to keep coming back.
My skills as a wordsmith just arent good enough to fully explain how fabulous my experience was at this Cubesmart. They are so incredibly helpful, and good vibes all around. Lots of perks, a van you can borrow, carts smiles. I cant speak on everyone that works there but Michael Ha, Lisseth Moya, and Ashley Jospeh were stellar and with luck they will be there when you visit.
Clean and safe storage in a climate control environment
The place is very convenient, clean, affordable, and the security system is great. Customer service great could be better. Also Jeremy keeps the building clean and secure. Branson, Humberto and Ashley are very kind and helpful.
Manager Lisseth is a great asset to CubeSmart. Smart and Very efficient bright and she guided me through everything. Jeremy John was so helpful in helping me to my new storage location.
Moving into my unit was easy and very fast, and the staff was very helpful. I showed up 10 minutes before closing and they still accomodated me. Definitely would reccomend. Rosey personally called to confirm my reservation and greeted me upon arrival and walked me through the whole process. Made it quick and painless!
Great Price, Perfect Location, Lazy Customer ServiceMy title says sums it up. After doing research & comparing other storage centers in the area, Cubesmart offers the best prices in an extremely convenient area. Great parking access. accessibility and always clean facility. However, there are a few things that have rubbed me the wrong way and pushed me to consider going with other companies in the future for my storage needs: -When I sliced my finger on my units latch that got stuck and went into the office to ask for a band aid (it was bleeding pretty badly), the associate looked at me like I was overreacting and acted like it would be a huge inconvenience for him to get up and look for a first aid kit. He suggested that I rinse it off in the restroom sink (where there were no paper towels, btw). I dont tend to carry around napkins, tissues or anything that I can clean a wound with when Im moving into a storage unit. -There are NO trash cans either in the parking area or anywhere near the storage units. This became an inconvenience several times -I was quoted by an associate that their disc locks sell for $20 while the storage facility across the street sells them for $14 including tax. -When using Cubesmarts cargo van for free I was not made aware that I needed to fill the gas tank all the way even if I didnt go that far. The associate working that day refused to give me a portion of my $100 cash deposit so I could tip my moving helpers until I went to fill the gas tank and relinquished the keys. The movers had another booking in Jersey and were already running late. I didnt have time to run to an ATM so I ended up not being able to tip them at all. -Another associate tried to help me close my unit when a box was too close to the threshold. He ended up jamming it and preventing me from accessing it for two days until I could get someone to help. -One day I needed to use the restroom at 6:45pm when the office is not supposed to close until 7pm. The associate had already locked the door, turned off the lights and was counting the money from the register. He let me in but only to wash my hands since the restroom had already been cleaned. -As compared with the unit across the street, they do not sell any kind of drinks and/or sustenance in the office lobby. To me this is unwelcoming. Most people forget to pack these kinds of things when doing an all day move and dont tend to have time to run out to get them. In my opinion, it is the responsibility of the facility to take care of their customers and provide these things that would be extremely helpful

My wife and I moved out of our storage unit at this location at the end of last month, and I have been planning to write this review ever since. (First review I have EVER written.) We have really liked the convenience of this location- the ample parking, the moving carts, and the freight elevators. We also appreciated the cleanliness of the location and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Everyone we dealt with at this location (Myles, Maria, Michelle, Nedra, just to mention the names I can remember) provided very good customer service. I think Nedra is the store manager, so this must be a reflection on the importance she gives to hiring the right people. We were moving out of NYC for good reasons but there is so much I am missing about it; customer service in general is not one of those things. But this Cubesmart is very un-NYC-like when it comes to customer service. We have never had a problem. Quite to the contrary. Our last two days were good examples of this. We needed to rent a Uhaul trailer to remove our things. At the last minute Uhaul changed our pick up location. We had asked someone at CubeSmart if we could park the Uhaul in the carport overnight since it would be nearly impossible to find street parking. It was agreed that we could, so we told Myles and Michelle who were working that day that that was our plan. They said that it was fine by them as long as we had the trailer there by 8pm- closing time. We went to pick up the trailer. The line at Uhaul was long, and then we got into traffic problems. (Another thing I am not missing about NYC) We were going to be about 15 minutes late. So we figured that was that and we were going to have to find parking. We didnt even think about asking the Myles and Michelle if they could wait for us. Who would agree to that!? But then we got a call from Michelle! She was checking to see if we were still coming. We told her about our situation and she said that she and Myles can keep the gate open for 15 minutes extra! I was never so happy to park a trailer. The next day Michelle was back and Maria was there as well. We had too much stuff and had to get rid of some things. They were both so helpful and friendly and sweet even with all our questions. And I feel that they gave us a very fair price on using the dumpster. The customer service, especially those last two days, was excellent, especially considering that us moving out meant that they were losing our business. But they still went above and beyond our expectations. We liked using CubeSmart so much that we have rented a unit in our new location.
This location has the most professional and polite staff I have ever encountered. They have been extremely helpful and accommodating!!!!! The facility is also very very clean at all times with plenty of carts to make the move easy. Victor and Rosie in particular are delightful.
The fellow at the desk was the slowest person I have ever come across in my life. One hour punching at the keyboard as if he was charting an international agreement from scratch while I sat there wondering what he was doing. I was the only customer in the facility. He also kept trying to sell me a lock repeatedly. Annoying. The facility is new and clean and has a small parking area. Satisfied my needs all in all except the wasted time to pay and sign, hopefully checking out wont take that long.
Jeremy and Ashley are always of great help when it comes to assist the clients at my location. These guys are awesome. I highly recommend looking out for these guys if you ever in need of any type of assistance .

Have only been there twice but want to say that the reviews that complain about the staff are either unfounded or have been resolved. Both visits I was assisted by very pleasant and professional staff that answered all my questions. Facility is also clean and efficient compared to other storage in the area.
Moving in and out of this place is easy. Jeselyn who works there explained everything very clearly and very was very accommodating! I was very happy with the service. The storage space is clean and temperature controlled.

I moved my daughter from Utah to NYC, and needed to find a way to pre-ship many, many boxes (20+) of her belongings someplace to store in preparation of her move. I contacted several storage places, and CubeSmart was incredibly helpful. I worked with Nedra, who arranged for me to sign-up a storage cube remotely (which is not their usual policy), and even better, arranged to accept my shipments from FedEx. She even arranged to have all the boxes I shipped and delivered to their doorstep, put into our storage cube for us!! Without any additional charges!! Absolutely STELLAR SERVICE, and incredibly fair priced!!! I have zero hesitation recommending Nedra and CubeSmart. If I ever need storage facilities again, they are my go to. If you ever need storage, they should be your go to too.

I really like this place. It’s very convenient to get to right off of the 39th stop on the NW line. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have lots of different sizes of units so you don’t have to get a huge unit for just a few items you only need to access once a year. Honestly, I don’t know how people get by in the city without getting a storage unit.

Rented a 5X10 unit with cube smart recently.Pros: free truck and driver for 2 hours for move innear the subway, N 39th street stopfree 1st month storageCons:Not all the fine print communicated over the phone, i.e. bringing a lock. I dont understand why you need to have a lock on your unit at all times, when you have nothing in it. I was told I needed to have a lock on my unit that day to complete my application for my unit. Seems a little strange, especially when Im not moving in for several days.Price varies day to day and location to location. I booked in advance to try and lock in a good price but the most you can book in advance is 2 weeks.Time: when I called ahead they told me the signing should only take 15 mins, so I went on my work lunch break. Ended up taking 45 mins even though I had an appt and then train delays getting back, go figure.
Needra and Kevin were amazing for guiding us on the space we need for our storage! And from time to time, we’d come a little late to get something from our storage and they are always accommodating! (Sorry, we do that too much!) Great people! Thanks guys!!!!
The staff have showen professional from Managers to staffs members also have showed patients when it even came down to certin issues with the payments .as welll kept me infrom and also listen to my side of the story and even was focused....
I cant possibly say enough about how incredible these guys are. Specifically, Marcus has been beyond stellar. Ive been back and forth between this, and the place across the street....and these guys absolutely crush their competition. Marcus is on point, seems to never take a day off, and is always there to take care of anything I need. Humberto was excellent in getting me into my space when I inquired about availability on the day I decided to move. After submitting a inquiry online I had clutter out of our apartment and into the storage unit a few hours later.

2022-04-24The receptionist was not very friendly. she refused to get up off of her chair to take me up to the locker to remove the company lock until i left the reception area and went outside. then she continued to make me stand there and wait for her.i do not understand why the company imposes a $25 administrative fee for the privilege of doing business with the company. no other company charges a fee to do business with them. if it is to costly to have employees do paper work they should let you input the info on line

2021-07-01Ashley assisted me a little over a year and half ago when I had to open an account - I had to move overseas for work and needed to store everything I owned. It was a bit nerve wrecking but she made the whole experience seamless and stress-less. I wasn’t sure which size would be best and she took the time to show me and explain every option available to me. I ended up following her suggestion and it was the perfect fit for all my things. I’ve also had the pleasure of meeting Kalila who helped me on several occasions with questions regarding my unit and billing. This location is also VERY clean and secure, quiet and cool (AC is always on). I cannot recommend this team and location enough! Thank you!

2021-06-08It is convenient and close to where I live. The units are clean. It is EXTREMELY expensive. They have raised the rent prices frequently. The only complaint I have is about the incompetence of the people working there. I felt like they didn’t provide any information unless asked. Very young kids working there . Managers should train them on how to speak to customers and offer customers information.
