Brianna was wonderful!! She was more then helpful very clear telling us about the property and showing us the space. She went through everything with us showed us how to use everything. I would suggest this location to anyone looking for a storage location. See Brianna shes great!!!
First time using public Storage and my experience was great thanks to Jacqueline , she was very helpful , cortousy and she deserves a raise . I have been at this location since it first opened. Whenever I visit, I’m ALWAYS greeted with a wave and smile from Brianna. Even if she’s helping another customer, without fail, Brianna takes a moment to greet and acknowledge me. She is absolutely amazing!Not only is she incredibly helpful and knowledgeable with answering any questions, but I’ve never seen the place so clean, it’s immaculate! The operating hours fit perfectly into my schedule as well. I highly recommend this location and would give more than five stars if possible. I’m thrilled that Brianna is here to keep everything operating so efficiently.
Brianna has recently started at this location and ever since she has turned the place around. I have been a customer at this location for over a year now and since she has come the customer service and cleanliness of this location has gone up exponentially.

Ill start of by saying this, The location trollies are all half broken and no Covid rules abide here. Dispensers are always gross, just as the bathroom.They do not prorate you if you do not give back the storage by the 30th - not the storage at night (no drop box) which i was told there was one and that my charge would be prorated when giving back the unit. Store manager told me to leave and that they are cutting my access to the unit even though they charged my card. I asked for them to give me back access and the manager stated they will have to charge me an activation fee. I advised them i came December 1st (2 days later than Nov 30th because I had my sisters wedding.) I tried calling their customer service number and the person hung up and said tough luck.The online chat person said dont you read your contract and closed the chat on me. I advised both customer representatives, I would understand if i could not receive my refund if I was two weeks into the month but less than 48 hours is ridiculous!!!!!!! Also they prorate you when you start SO WHY WOULDNT IT BE LIKE THAT WHEN YOU GIVE IT BACK. THIS WAS NEVER CLEARLY EXPRESSED TO THE CLIENT. I have sent a complaint to the Better Business Bureau as well and to the county. THEY ALSO INCREASE your price every 3 MONTHS BY $50-80 A MONTH AND IF YOU CALL TO LOCK IN PRICE THEY WILL TELL YOU THAT THEY HAVE OTHERS WHO WANT IT SO EITHER YOU PAY OR GET OUT. MY unit started at $80 a month and was increased to $260 a month within a year.Spoke with Keila

Kristy is awesome. I’ve never had better customer service anywhere in my life. Me and my girlfriend Alison explained to her what we needed and she really went above and beyond in making sure we had a seamless experience. This facility is amazing! And a lot of that has to do with Kristy, the property manager. She goes above and beyond to ensure that you are assisted with all your needs, is super informative, and just so friendly! She really gets things done! The facility is very secure, with gate codes at multiple entrance points, and scores high on cleanliness. They really take pride in this location. I would highly recommend this location to anyone who needs to store near the Hicksville area.

Pretty New Building!!!! Kristy always has a smile on her face and is always helpful. Store at 3 facilities and have been very Happy with Public Storage! So many changes with covid came here today and I could actually tell how much the clean after the customers the place smells clean. Nice to know they are taking the extra steps to keep us safe.
Very clean and the service people were helpful. I have two gripes though. They advertise for a special price offer, however there was no mention they require one to purchase insurance. Secondly, Ive had the storage 3 months, I just got an email theyre going increase the rental rate by 10%
Kristy the site manager is wonderful! So friendly and personable!! I have dealt with many storage facilities and she was the only one who made it simple and easy and not trying to rip me off...even though there was a public storage a little closer to my home I ended up going to this location because of her, how clean the facility was and just the simplicity of everything! She made my experience wonderful and I hope her bosses know how great of a job she does with the customers!!!!!!
I’ve only had a unit at this location for 1 day, and I’m already satisfied with my decision. Not only was the unit a perfect size, for the price I got but the peace of mind I needed, and it’s perfect. The customer service was exceptional when I first went there. Both Tyrell and Kristy were amazing and very informative. Great Customer Service. I highly recommend Public Storage, especially this location.
I wasn’t sure what kind of storage I would be needing for my business. But after going through reviews and distance, this Hicksville location seemed to be a good match. I wanted to be very thorough and understand all fees and courtesies . I was not disappointed ! Terrell was straight to the point and very honest about what units would best serve my needs. He was very patient with me and seemed very knowledgeable of the property. My only concern was that he was doing a lot at once. So I assured him I’d come back at another time. He changed my mind about any doubts after an apology and my partner and I agreed on the perfect space . So far it’s the cleanest of all the locations we’ve visited , and by far the most helpful staff. If it’s not too far, definitely give this location a try !
I barely have time for reviews, but this team needed to be acknowledged ! I was accompanying my friend who was looking for local storage . We looked online and thought we’d visit a few. We got one estimate at another location and stopped at Public Storage next. We were greeted immediately by the staff . Everyone seemed very knowledgeable and eager to help ! My friend wound up renting the unit here. She raves about how clean and neat everything is ! I’ve gone back with her several times since and nothing has changed. Still the same great customer service and accuracy. I’ll definitely be storing at this location in the future!
I have been a customer at this location since March 2018. From my very first encounter with the staff here, I have been nothing less than completely satisfied. Christy, who I believe is the manager, is not only a sweetheart, but she has gone out of her way to help and assist with all of my questions and concerns numerous times. (And trust me, I had/have a bunch!) She is always 100% professional. Tyrell is also a great assist to this facility as well. The place is always extremely clean. I do however wish that they would get a garbage can for the ladies room ;) but other than that I have no complaints! I would highly recommend this place to anyone! **Also when I was first shopping around for storage places, this Public Storage location had the most reasonable prices around which was the main reason for me choosing this particular location but I am SO glad I did!! Thanks guys! :)

I went to public storage in Hicksville and it was the best by far after going around the island to different locations. I was getting frustrated until I found this perfectly clean public storage. Tyrell was exceptional. very informative, outgoing, & really nice. I look forward to working with him again as I will be renting more storage units for my upcoming business. The Public Storage in Hicksville on South Oyster Bay Road is the best. The people at the front desk cannot be more helpful, any product you may need is right there. There are carts always available, it’s very safe and clean.
Kristy was way too helpful and friendly.Lol we forgot the keys to our storage unit and we travelled way from jersey city to LI.We reached out to her and she gave us the best solution possible. Fortunately, I’m able to say that my experience with management along with viewing a unit for my mother was great! Is spoke with Tyrell and he was able to give me the rundown of the different units, prices, etc. He was quite helpful with making the final decision. I used to have a unit with another company and it wasn’t the best but I’m thinking about switching now since my mother has one at this location and I’m quite a fan of cleanliness! A+ from me!!! Thanks so much! My mother is satisfied.
I’ve been using this particular facility for years and am happy with the location, appearance and the staff here. Kristi and Tyrell are awesome at this place. Always super friendly and helpful. They are always professional which I really appreciate because too many places these days are staffed with people just passing time and super inappropriate. No drama just quick service. Thanks !
Moving can be so stressful, and having to store your belongings can also be stressful. However I visited this location and Keila helped me, gave me a tour of the facility and answered all of my questions. I went home and immediately reserved a unit! She called me the very next day to go over everything. Keila was beyond helpful, made the entire process so easy, and seamless. Zero stress with this location, everything was extremely clean, halls, front retail space, and most importantly the unit! We will be there for about a year and I I feel so comfortable (safe) leaving my items there. Definitely visit and give them a chance if needing storage!
I shopped around for a few days, and for the same price others were charging for a 5*5 , I got a 5*10. On top of that, the customer service was so wonderful, I was blown away. Danielle and Alyssa were amazing! They were professional, polite and made me feel right at home. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking to store their items. On top of that the facility was clean and there was plenty of security. I am very, very happy with my experience!

Sweet, kind, genuine, knowledgeable with so many years of experience (and it shows), and always smiling and creating sunshine with every conversation. And dont even get me started on all the laughs youll have in the office with her! She manages the newest building in the district, it is also extremely secure, and clean and has unique locker units the others dont! (If theyre available, theyre a hit commodity! So hurry!) A visit here is always pleasant. Ever have a question? Kristy knows the answer! Great woman, friend, coworker, and manager. Will always recommend this facility!
I would like to thank Keila for taking the time to explain everything in detail and she also reminded me about the moving and storage supplies that they conveniently sell right in the facility, saving me a trip to some retail store. She is very professional and pleasant to speak with both on the phone and in person.
Worst experience ever! I had an emergency at my house and I needed to move a bunch of stuff out of my garage quick on a Saturday. I did a quick Google search and found this place near my home. I called and they told me I had until 9pm to move in. I reserved it, and I borrowed a large SUV, packed it up and went to the facility. What they dont tell you is they lock up all of the dollys at 5pm, so when I got there I had a ton of stuff to move and no cart. I called and they said that they lock them up because people steal them? How? I have to enter a code to get in the lot, enter a code to enter the building, enter a code to get in an elevator and supposedly they have security cameras, so how could anyone steal a dolly? It would be on camera. And only customers have access codes, so how hard would it be to catch someone? They obviously do not really have the security in place to protect your stuff that they claim they do if they cant prevent someone from stealing a dolly , right? I mean they are large and heavy, no one can just grab it and run away with it. The security they advertise is obviously a lie. How safe is my stuff really if by their own admission they are worried about their dollys from being stolen. And i guess you are just supposed to know this somehow, even though it goes against all logic. How can you move into a storage space without a dolly? Well, you have to carry one box at a time. It took forever and I threw out my back. I called them to see if they could help me somehow, and i was told that a manager would call me back in 15 minutes. Never happened! They already got me for month, but next month everything is coming out and going to a different company. They dont care about you and your stuff is definitely not safe there. Worst company ever!
First time needing to rent a storage space. Samantha made it easy to make the decision. I had gone online initially and went over the options since it was after hours. I was contacted first thing in the morning when they opened and set up a time to view the unit. Was able to easily change the time for the walk through. Samantha was clam and explained everything answered all of our questions. She was funny and kind. Staff seem to care about the facility and their patrons and learn to know them by name if they come frequently enough. Would recommend this facility to others who may need to rent a space.
Jessica is fantastic at her job and the whole office staff including Samantha and the invisible guy are good-natured and welcoming.Brand new building . Spotless. I hope it stays like it is now.Not a reflection on the location, but the other fees and administration charges mentioned on the site when you are picking your unit include a mandatory insurance fee that doubles the initial $26 payment and gets added to the monthly rent that you get quoted on the site.You will be questioned thoroughly on what you plan to put in your unit.
Sade and Danielle are amazing. This was my first time renting a storage unit by myself and they took the time to make sure I understood everything and answered all of my millions of questions. They were patient while I read every single word of every single paper and made the whole experience pleasant and even fun! They were super nice and funny and within seconds of the interaction I felt like a friend and not a customer. Any fear or doubts I had were wiped away and Im confident I made the right decision by choosing them.

I use Public Storage alot. Theyre great, easy going and the elevator has a code so you cant really go anywhere if your not supposed to be theyre. I also like to lock my girlfriend in the storage unit when shes annoying. LMAO. Great Place!!

First time stopping into facility to help move in my father’s items and meeting Sade and Samantha at the office was a great help!! They showed me how to get to his unit as well as instructing me on using the roll up door. They really made me feel comfortable and made my moving in today extremely helpful.

Terrible customer service - no empathy for loyal customers. My family rented this unit after both my parents passed away. We were paying this out of the estate and would have to write checks to prepay for months at a time. I must have calendared the next payment incorrectly and realized I incurred a late fee. I immediately paid out of the estate - When I went there to bring the check I explained the situation and asked for a little sympathy to waive the $35 fee. They said this would have to go up to corporate. Then I was called and told they would not waive the fee. I was given a number to call to speak with the district manager. The manager would never call me back. The people at the desk are extremely unprofessional and the person I just got off the phone in a stern condescending manner said that I spoke with you in September I told you this wasnt approved - very nasty. Pretty much said your lucky we ever considered trying to waive the late fee. I have been a customer of public storage on and off for years. After this I will be arranging my plans and moving all of my stuff out of the unit this weekend. He then had the nerve to say that you can move out if you can pay the balance. The balance is not the problem - I have the money. The issue is that they would rather take the $35 then keep a loyal customer in a time of grief. I have been putting of getting this stuff because the memories are still too sad. instead of them taking the fee off and getting months more of my rent money - they decided to lose a customer for $35. I will never do business with this company again. I hope that $35 was worth losing my business and the business of my peers.
Keila helped my grandmother open and set up a storage unit to accommodate her move. Her explanations were explicit and left no room for confusion. I would highly recommend to my friends and family.

Agreed about Tyrell ruining the storage experience. I and my sister are two of the regular-paying, rule-obeying customers that Tyrell harassed and picked needless fights with. We moved out after 2.5 years there. It was a pleasure for the first year and a half. The last year since Tyrell arrived was hell. Ben F, I think you may be right. My sister and I are both middle aged women. Tyrell only seems to attack people in our group. Public storage, please pay more attention to customer complaints about rude nasty staff! Please!

Got a good price on the storage locker so i went with them. 4 months later they raised my monthly rent so now im paying more then if i used another storage unit. Seems shady that they give you a good deal and raise it as soon as your unit is full.

Do not get a unit from this place....I rented a unit from a really nice and helpful woman that worked at public storage in Hicksville, NY. I just called a man that I can only describe as an arrogant, ignorant, hideous, combative thing that I assume is a human being because he had a mans voice....but really, who knows. I would like to think he if from some strange alien planet.

Nice place and very clean. If you want strong please check out online deal first I got 15 dollars cheaper a month. Also the rent is not the final price because you have to include insurance.
Better be out by 9pm ON THE DOT! I suggest 8:59..9:02pm youre locked in. Literally. Manager does not return your call to help you get out. Dont bother calling the cops bc 6 useless cars will show up. call the FIRE DEPARTMENT... they have a special key to unlock the gate. if not your car is sleeping there and you can walk out the side gate. kind of sucks if you have work at 7am..cant really leave your car there if you need it.
Samantha helped me at this location. I am moving some things here. She was wonderful and very helpful. The place is New abc is heir up very well, very clean and looked after. I’m very happy with my choice.

2022-03-06During my time using Public Storage(many years) I have never seen one so clean with such wonderful staff! To come in once a week and have Brianna up front with a smile on ready to help me has been the nicest part about it. She helped get my sister set up with her own locker and answered every single question we threw at her. 10/10 recommend this site and public storage in general!

2022-05-06I went to public storage expecting just a simple storage facility - however what I found, was an amazing place, with the kindest & most helpful worker, Ive ever had the pleasure of meeting. Her name was Brianna, & after I lost my keys to my unit, she was so understanding, & helpful, she even helped me get into the storage unit myself, & she stayed with me, to make sure that I did get in, she got me a new lock super fast, & she made sure that I was able to open it up. She went so out of her way to help me, & every single time that I go there, & I go quite alot, multiple times a week, shes always there to greet me, with a smile on her face, & a wave, and she always comes over to see if I need anything else at all, & just to say hello. This is the kind of worker, every one of your stores should have, shes the nicest & sweetest representative, you have there, please make sure that she knows how much we all appreciate her help, thank you Brianna, for everything!!

2022-06-29I came into this location in May to view a unit I had booked online. Brianna was the girl who helped me that day. She was so professional and super friendly the entire experience. I ended up renting this unit earlier then planned because of how amazing she was and my confidence in her to be around to help. We finally moved in yesterday and let me tell you Brianna went ABOVE & BEYOND to help not only myself but my movers as well! Moving is stressful but Brianna actually made this a very pleasant time from the start of booking this unit to the end of moving my items in. Brianna I cannot thank you enough for this, myself and my family are very pleased. Please make sure Brianna sees this and knows how much we thank her!
