Great rates for Brooklyn. Cars are a bit banged up if you go for the cheapest ones, but they work. Quick in and out without wasting lots of time. Overall Id suggest if you dont want to use car sharing apps (car2go or others)

**BE WARE** this is the first and last and worst experience I ever had with a car rental and Ive been renting cars almost 3times a month for the past 10 years all over the U.S. I had an urgent need for a car on Sunday morning and they were a few blocks away from me. I got the car at noon since they close at 1:00 pm. It was 2011 Corolla with huge dents and bumps and scratches from all sides even the front bumper was hanging on a thread. I saw it after signing the docs. I asked them to change it but they said they dont have any other cars and they said theyll give me a discount. I thought OK and took my elderly parents to where they wanted. Driving this care was miserable at best. It was shaking like vibrator over 30 mi/hr and I was really worried about mine and my patents safety along with everyone on the road. After a slow and painful trip to upstate we can back around 7:00 pm logging 140 mi of torture and weired smell. I parked the car and woke up Monday went to work and left early to catch them before they close at 6:00. Got there at 5:15pm and they charged me $110 for 2 days claiming my time expires on the minute after 24 hours. Ive never seen this anywhere else, and last time I paid that much I had a 2015 camaro with unlimited miles and all insurance included. They refused to give the discount they promised earlier (acted like they never did) or show any courtesy and kept arguing that i should have brought it before noon. I have a job. After a long argument I had them stamp the return on my receipt and called my cc vendor to hold off the payment. I have receipts from all major car rentals and I always get charged by the date not the time. But they probably treated me this way because of racial profiling. Be ware stay safe.

The car they rented me had nasty stuff all over the seats and wet. If you have issues with your rental and if you call, they’ll hang up the phone. Also when you rented a car from them, never register to PA toll by plate or EZ pass with the rental license plate. They refuse the responsibility if another renter used the same car, and you get charged.For response to the owners comment: I called him to ask the proof of rental that someone else has rented a car HSH2272 on March 2019 so I can send the proof to PA toll by plate that another renter is responsible for the toll. The owner just hanged up the phone.
I rented a 15 passenger van at Sensible. The service was great, and the price was way better than any of the other places I called. Id definitely rent from them again!

Rent a car for 5 days, Monday to Friday, The store owner never said me that they work half day on Friday and Saturday off .I came to return car on Friday 3pm and they were closed only returned on Monday morning and they charge me for hole week

2022-03-09Real good experience at this car rental. Very good service and quick.Took me exactly 3 minutes from when I walked in until I drove off with the rental. Was first offered a Nissan Sentra, but did not fit my needs so they immediately over something better and helped me with what was needed.Best

2021-03-12This is my second time renting from this Brooklyn location and each time it has been a great experience. I have rented a mini-van and cargo van without any surprises upon returning it. No hidden fees. Plus, this is the most inexpensive extra mileage cost in the city. Believe me, I have rented a lot of trucks. I initially took a chance with this company, because I never heard of them before and now that I know how they operate, I will continue to come back!

I am simply writing this because of my pleasant hassle-free experience with them. My wife called a few days in advance to reserve a van. The day of the van rental it took about 15 minutes or less and we were on the road. Van was in excellent condition, clean, up to date model. Really good customer service and reasonably priced. More blessings and success to this fine company. As you can see, the reviews speak for itself. Thank you Sensible Car Rental! Well definitely be returning customers.

2015-02-27It was a good experience. Rented a car for 2 days. It was a fast and easy transition to getting the car. Prices are reasonable. Car condition was decent. I didnt over charge for anything and included a toll fee that I had to pay for without any extra charges. Will definitely go back again.

2016-06-03I strongly recommend Sensible for your car rental needs. They are professional, friendly, honest, all their cars are clean and in great condition, and lastly, I loved the personal service one gets there. Since its not a conglomerate one doesnt get lost in a corporate quagmire or have to deal with terrible customer service.
