If I could give zero stars I would I called to ask a few questions about an order I placed for pick up the lady on the phone was rude and hung up and after I called again she continued to say the same thing over again with absolutely no help disgusting attitude I will continue shopping at Manhasset location with much nicer staff
This is the best Sephora I have been to! The staff are amazing and extremely knowledgeable. Sorry I can’t remember everyone’s names but people working till NYE closing - Aimee, Rera ( by the door), and someone that seems like the manager were awesome. The store is well stocked and they have good sales going on
Requested a sample, which you can do at any Sephora, and was told no? The representative lied about the policy because Ive gotten other products that didnt spray. Dismissive and snobby the worker could barely drag her eyes from her paper to refuse my request, i wont be returning for such terrible customer service.
I usually shop online but needed a setting spray and happen to be around the area and walked in to Sephora at this location. I had to wait at checkout there was no one there to assist me. Then this lady came up to the register who might have been a manager had a Hispanic accent. She was extremely rude! I had an issue with one of my cc however then I gave her another one. Was very abrupt and nasty. I would never go back to that Sephora again.
I was so happy when this location opened! I wanted to give kudos to Diana (Diane?) Lee, she was so helpful the minute I walked in. I NEVER take the survey on the receipt but I accident threw it away so wanted to give her a shout out on here. She was so helpful with color matching & listens to what you want. I forgot what shade I bought for my eyebrows, & she looked it up for me via the app (I didn’t even think of doing that!). I rarely come into contact with Sephora employees bc I like to do my own thing but her positive vibes & attitude made it feel like I was shopping with a friend. Thank you!
Last week my wife and 2 co workers went into this store on their lunch break from their highly lucrative job to purchase some products. Upon arrival they were racially profiled and confronted by 4 sales associates upon instruction from their manager about shop lifting. None of these 3 employed, married, mothers were shop lifting, and had absolutely no intention to. The shame and disgrace these women felt were entirely unwarranted and plain wrong. This manager should be fired and reprimanded for her terrible behavior. I warn all customers to think twice about shopping there
If I could give them zero stars, I would. They are not very nice people. I have been shopping there for over a year, but recently when I go there they keep acting like Im going to steal from them. It is offensive because they have seen me many times and still look at me like a thief. The first time, I thought it was just my imagination. But, I when I went there last week, they were watching me again like I was a thief. I caught them doing it and they tried to play it off like they wanted to help me. They were signaling to each other to watch me. I dont like this store. I wont be returning again. They are not genuine and they have deep biases against certain customers. It must be a reflection of their management. There is no reason to be loyal to a place that does not value your loyalty. A place like that doesnt deserve my money.
Customer service only provided to a selected group of people if you know what I mean. I’ve visited this store a handful of times to confirm that the associates do not ask women of color if they need help. I walked around the store for over 20 minutes shopping and not one asked me if I needed assistance. I’ll be calling corporate service to report this location and demand that they investigate how the associates operate. Very disappointed.
New Sephora location-just opened December of 2020.Very busy at all times from what I have saw , I just purchased a benefit brow pencil last week and it is absolutely great-will be returning in the future!In the front near the registers there are also a bunch of cute things, glosses and such💖.
I placed an online order for in-store pickup and was assured the item would be put aside and available for me to pickup soon. Instead I received an email the next day that the item was out of stock and my order had to be canceled. This was frustrating and the item was out of stock (online and in other stores) and no longer on sale by the time I was notified that my order was canceled.
This location is by far the worst. I went in and I felt like I was being hounded. The lady at the front would not let me enter, she asked me what im coming in for and then asked me why and i had to give a 5 minute explanation and felt very uncomfortable. I understand its COVID and there are precautions to take but they make you feel very unwelcomed and i literally POINTED at a tester to my friend, not even try it and the lady pounced on me that you cant try testers but I didnt even test or open the tester. I will be going to the sephora in bayside as the staff is so much more friendlier and helpful. The entire time there I felt uncomfortable and just left without purchasing anything due to feeling uncomfortable the entire 10 minutes i was there.
Really Bad customer service!! Person on a floor kept walking around when I asked for help to pick up something kept taking other people before me and when I wanted to check out cashier send me to someone at the door to check out and I already asked that person for help when I walked in! Felt like nobody wanted to help !
The service was out standing. I was assisted by Natalia who was knowledgeable and super nice. She helped me find what I needed and more......I was in a big rush and thanks to her I gat everything I needed plus some new products, I decided to try base on her recommendations.....I was in and out in a cheapie and was able to keep my appointment. So it was a win win situation. I spent $250.00 AT SEPHORA under 15 minutes plus, Im very happy with my new products. 👍😊❤ so yes Happy customer....just want to mention first time customer....I usually shop at ULTA......I was delighted however with SEPHORA.
I went there today and this is one of my fsvorite locations to go because the staff are usually super nice and friendly today was different. The 2 staff in the front letting people know the protocols of the store because of covid were super nice and friendly and let everyone know how and when we would go in. When It was my turn to go in and I’m looking around for the products that I need and I see that people are touching some of the stuff on the sales floor, and I asked for assistance and the lady that was going to assist me said if I could wait a couple of minutes while she finished a transaction and that was perfectly fine of course. I then was browsing and I touched one item that I was interested in (and I guess now that I think about it, it was wrong but it’s just a force of happen when yo go to sephora to smell stuff and it was an accident it can happen to anyone to be honest and I did see a lot of other people touching other items like make up and stuff, but that’s beside the point) and one of the sales floor person came charging at me and was basically screamed at me in front of all the other customers there that I am not aloud to touch anything and was very rude in the way she was saying everhing to me, the other customers just looked at me and started to just walk out out the store. I honestly did not like the way she approached me and I wil find out her name because I felt so disappoint on how she reacted and if it wasn’t for her coworker I wouldn’t have bought anything cause she saw how upset that Made me. Her coworker just looked at her and just started to talk to me and try to make he feel better. I really think they should teach that girl how to treat customers even if they are wrong there are different ways to approach a situation and she definitely handled it very wrong. Unfortunately I will not be shopping there anyone I rather drive the extra miles then go back to a place where they have her there.
There is one girl that works there I think she is the manager she looks kind of India or Guyanese dont know her name but she has a really nasty sarcastic attitude I feel like she is trying to rush you out the store giving straight forward answers without explaining.... not friendly at all....if she is a manager or supervisor she needs to be demoted period.

2022-06-26Arlene was incredible, I’m not that knowledgeable about makeup and she helped me pick out a ton of products that complimented my skin complexion! I felt so comfortable talking to her about my skin and I felt like she really cared about making sure I received the best foundation, mascara, blush and perfume! I will definitely come back here because there’s a few additional things I want.

2022-02-17This is my worst experience at Sephora. This lakes success location is the worst. That is my first time purchasing from them, and it would be my last time also. The ladies at store 314 are very rude and impertinent. First, the price labeled on the shelf was different from what was in the system after she scanned my item. (they are not doing the job properly).Furthermore, her attitude was inappropriate as a cashier. She looks at me and talks to me as if I am stupid. I ask a question to one of the ladies at the door, she responds rudely. I feel very humiliated and embarrassed. They need to hire more professionals at store #314. I wish I could give this store a zero-star because it does not deserve the one I share.

2022-02-13I went In today to return a product . The cashier was not at all professional. She couldn’t understand the receipt I handed to her so her response was “ I have to give you store credit” I told her that didn’t make much sense since she has the receipt In hand . She excused herself and left to go speak with her manager who told her to go ahead . Instead of just being honest and saying she needed help with the return in the first place . She did the return and looked so annoyed . I’ve been an extremely loyal customer but this is not a location I’d ever visit again.

2022-06-23I was really skeptical about this place because of the reviews but I really wanted the products that they had. They were the ONLY sephora that had a.plethora of a certain product that I will gatekeep haha. They were all very nice. It wasnt awkward, I went in: a girl asked if I needed help, I was like no thank you but she was fine and left me alone. The cashier was nice, idk what else to say. The guy wished me a good day. I will boost them up because maybe it was just a bad day when those ppl came in or whatever. But I liked it here. I will be back.

2022-04-28Yuck! Never coming here again. The associates kept watching me as though I was suspicious. I went in, however not by choice. According to Google, this location had the products I wanted in stock. Turns out they didnt have them; so I ended up browsing. The customer service needs major improvement. Sales associates are rude, snide and not helpful at all.

2021-12-21I shop extremely often at Sephora, and used to live near this location. I would ask for help, but a certain girl, I believe her name was Miranda, especially didn’t like me. I’ve never done anything to her, but she’s always dismissive with me and is extra nice to other customers when she knows I’m watching. There was also a male and another girl who would always be exasperated when I would keep them 3 minutes late to check out. Sorry to call them out, but now that I moved, I won’t see them again anyway. Other employees are wonderful, they will help you and are kind. Will never be shopping here again, and if you are looking for recommendations or help, I would rather not go here.

2022-01-12Poor customer service. You work there why are you rude? Would not come back for the poor attitude of the older blonde lady, unnecessary, unfortunately. And youre there to help why are you bothered when you are asked for help? Unnecessary. I would have a talk with her if I were management about polite etiquette with people in general and then to take the aura and tude of entitlement down a few notches while at place of employment.

2022-03-19Its a pretty limited location in terms of products they carry - and the staff can be very nice or rude - but it offers the convenience of avoiding a big mall when you just need a specific product category.
