I was having a bad day today and just got on the A train to take a long walk uptown and sort out my thoughts.I was just walking around and found this place near the station and ordered a bite to eat.The staff are delightful and the food was fantastic. It made my day and helped bring me out of my troubles. Will be back.
Came here with a group of 10 for my friends birthday celebration. The restaurant hosts were super accommodating and let us use (read: take over) their outdoor space, which felt like our private oasis! The food came out fast and was delicious! I am not vegan, but I was impressed with the amount of vegan options on their menu. Everything was so flavorful. My favorite was the nopal (grilled cactus) taco, and I cant wait to come back and order a million more. Exceptional service and food!
This place was awesome! Amazing tacos, the service was EXTREMELY fast, and incredibly genuine and so nice! We hosted a birthday party for a friend and they made sure that we had a great time and they had some cake with us!Highly recommend the Cancun Tacos! Fully loaded and so good!
Lovely people at this charming Mexican cafe. The young lady who helped me with my lunch order was patient and polite. I ordered grilled pork burrito, tostada, tamale and grilled cactus salad to go. Every thing was freshly made with best ingredients and delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try other items on their menu.
Love this place. You walk in and fell like someone’s mom is cooking for you, literally, because it’s women owned and run. Their corn tortillas are made from scratch with organic masa and they’re delicious. I didn’t give them 5 stars just because I’ve only eaten there twice so in all fairness I can’t speak for all their dishes. But if they’re as good as the fish tacos I got tonight this will be a 5 star joint in my book. The staff was very friendly too and despite going there during the dinner rich hour my order came up pretty quickly.
My last two visits were terrible. One of my meals was missing the vegan cheese and guacamole. The next day I informed them of what had been missing, while ordering it again. They didn’t care at all and then that burrito only had 2 teaspoons of guacamole. Then today no one working there could tell me what ingredients their salads had (their website was having problems, which I informed them of). They became annoyed, told me that they didn’t know the ingredients, and to top it off wouldn’t lower the music as we we’re having trouble hearing each other. I am never going there back.
Excellent vegan options!!! I’m new (and therefore wary) to trying meat alternatives and vegetarian dishes, but I gave this place a try and was not at all disappointed. I tried the vegan chorizo, seitan, and jackfruit carnitas tacos “con todo”. All three were so good! The jackfruit came off a little sweet but still a great vegan option if you like the carnitas flavor and texture. My favorite was the vegan chorizo. I wish this was close to where I live, bc I would definitely be frequenting this spot.
Since I moved here I have been looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant with good food, and this exceeded all expectations. Order up you won’t regret it.*update review: after 3 consecutive days of eating breakfast and lunch here and half the menu later. The conclusion is that they can’t get anything wrong, It’s good food.*
I couldnt wait for this place to open !! It was Election Day when walked by and realized they were finally up and running. The reasurant is a bit small so it isnt too much of a dine in restaurant though they do have some tables outside that would be great when its warmer out.The staff is extremely attentive, they were friendly and made sure my order was perfect. The foos is absolutely amazing, from the tacos to the sides to the nachos. I have yet to taste the breakfast options which is next on my list but I know they wont disappoint me.Make sure to try the fish tacos and the steak tostadas !
Incredible little place!!! Super authentic and delicious. I just left and parked with my wife. We can’t stop talking about how amazing and fresh all the food is. The ladies were beyond helpful. We live on Long Island and we’ll definitely be back. Thanks for the flan 😉
I have been looking for good Mexican food here in the city since I first moved from California eight years ago. How absurdly lucky is it that the first Mexican restaurant I have really enjoyed in almost a decade of searching opened up right here in my own neighborhood? During a pandemic? It seems like a miracle. My favorite things Ive tried so far are the fish taco and the rajas con queso tamale... both delicious! Everything was fresh and flavorful, the kitchen was clean and fast... love it.
Usually they are great but in the las couple of weeks they keep messing up my order, super delayed (over 1 hours waiting) missing items, no working with the customers about substitutions (in the past this was not an issue) and even rude over the phone… not sure what’s happening over there, but not very happy with them right now…
This is more then just the best you can have from authentic Mexican food!! From the homemade tortillas to the crispy flautas to just having a side order of Mexican style rice and beans fresh from the olla.. I love it! You have a little from Mexico right here in Inwood can ask for more.
The prices at this establishment are ridiculous. I thought I was in times square. 17 dollars for chillaquiles without meat & 4 dollars for a Jarritos. The chillaquiles were good but the amount was an appetizer portion. I’ll just go to cheaper places in the neighborhood and east harlem.

2022-02-09Really awesome addition to the neighborhood. i really liked the tostada i got, the chicken was well seasoned and had a nice profile that matched a tinga. the tamale was greatly improved when adding the hot sauce. the pico de gallo was a bit watery but had a nice spice kick without the burn. would definitely return here, kinda wish some of the food was served a little hotter seems like they dont mix the steam tables up much

2022-08-20I’ve been going to this quaint gem of a restaurant for over a year. Their fish tacos are delicious as well as all their tostadas. Try their horchata, too. All their ingredients are fresh and the staff is very friendly. If you have your meal to stay you’ll sit outside and enjoy the view. I highly recommend this spot in Inwood.

2022-07-28These tacos are absolutely delicious. The meat was seasoned to perfection, the corn tortillas??? *CHEF’S KISS* the veggies fresh. The ladies making the food? Stressed but they put so much love into my food. The service wasn’t the best, but I don’t need to be best friends with anybody the tacos were so dang good. I will be coming back!

2022-09-02Incredibly delicious food, plus its women-run. This is the type of place where you can tell they actually care about what theyre serving. Amazing vegan and vegetarian options too - the veg tortilla soup rocks!! Fab fish and shrimp tacos. And theyve got a freezer full of paletas. Go here!!!

2022-07-05So far Ive tried the Mexican bacon egg & cheese, the fish burrito, and the popsicles. My friend had the fish tacos and my daughter had the nachos with jackfruit carnitas. Everything my loved ones and I have tried has been truly delicious and there are options for everyone. Once you eat there, you will want to go back and try more dishes. They use fresh ingredients and everything tastes homemade.

2022-06-20My review is not based on the quality of food but the place itself. The place look cozy but upon arriving we were told that we needed to place our order from the counter and using the single menu they had, then go and sit and come back for your order, just the way you do at take out restaurants. We left

2022-08-25Great food!! Really pleasant people working there. But expect to pay steep price! $18 burrito is an upscale dine in price. Portions are also somewhat small.
