Brought my newly thrifted sewing machine to the shop the other day for a tune up and to grab some bobbins. Was disappointed but not surprised at the condescending tone of the owner but I let it slide. Then I was told my machine was not working properly so he would need to take it apart completely to see what was the problem. Was told a story about another customer that had a similar issue but their machine was newer so it was better for him. I asked directly what he could quote the repair at and said it was minimum $120. Fast forward to today where I decide to play around with the machine so I can more fully understand it and-wouldn’t you know-it works perfectly fine and was only working improperly because of the settings of the dials- which he didn’t even bother to check while I was at the shop. Really wanted to be able to support our local businesses but with this being the latest in a long line of horrible customer service experiences, I’m ready to throw in the towel.

I had an impossible time figuring out my sewing machines tension issues. Joseph was able to diagnose it and fix it very quickly. He fixes and installs FITs sewing machines so he knows everything there is to know about sewing machines and you can tell (fyi he offers student discounts). Would definitely recommend his services to anyone who needs help with their machines. Just make sure to call ahead since hes a one man show, and have cash in case his cc machine isnt working.

Absolutely love this place!! Mr. Joseph knows exactly what he’s doing. I was in mid project before my sewing machine jammed and he was able to fix it! He’s such a professional!!

The business is horrible and he tried to charge me $80.00 just for oiling the machine. The man claimed that I need a part for my machine which I didn`t need one. He is a con-artist and a rip off and told me that he charges $3,000 for sewing classes. Please don`t conduct business with this man.

Over priced but what can I say Joseph got my moms sewing machine to work again after she gave up on it
