This was my first time and I may not go back. After a 33 minute drive home I realized that my fries that I paid for were missing. I got the bourbon bacon cheddar and the sauce had too much sodium.
Expensive burgers cooked to order combined with long waits really required the food to be superb for a high rating. While the food is good, its expensive. Not great, but decent. Worth a visit if youve never been, but stick to nifty foods.
Server ignored the line and allowed some one to skip the line. When I mentioned that there was a line that we are waiting on the server said it’s fine you can just wait. Didn’t excuse it or apologize just dismissed me and every one after on line waiting. It’s bad enough their food takes long to come out but to be rude and dismissive with out acknowledging the line of mistakes that’s what you get for fast food service I get
Update 3/13/22This place is still fantastic for one of the best Chicken Sandwiches around. Service is efficient & courteous.Chicken Sandwich, Burger and Fries are consistently excellent. Their various lemonades and fruit drinks have the right balance of tangy, sweet and light tastes. I enjoy sitting in their outdoor patio. Also, the table delivery service is a nice touch. Folks, give the souls that deliver the food to your table a tip, I always do and they appreciate it a lot. Excellent and high quality food, where you cant go wrong! Highly recommended!
This place has gone downhill the last couple years. The last couple times I went here they screwed up my order. The first time I didnt realize until I got home. I tried calling them to get my order fixed and no one will pick up the phone. They give you the option to leave a voicemail, which I did, and never got a call back. The last time I was wise enough to check before I left and yet again they screwed up my order. I went up to the counter to tell them and Im ignored. Then some lady yells at me from across the store, would you move from the counter please!?. I wanted to yell back, would you not screw up my order every time I come here please?! The food quality is not as good anymore either. Soggy bread and undercooked fries. Not worth the price.
My favorite burger store, I stop here quite often, the service is fast and correct. The kitchen area looks clean and well maintained, the food prepps wear the right gear too. The eating area is clean as well. A few things they need to improve: they don’t allow you to pay through the phone, which is a shame since most people nowadays want to pay through their phone. The restrooms are dirty and not taken care of.
Very disappointed..... order multiple itemsI ordered a shack burger ask for it to be WELL DONE and I got a burger that’s pink inside. If you guys are going to rush to make the food don’t bother making it!! The lemonade was sooo sour. All I had for dinner was fries.
***Bad experience***, the food took really long time to be ready, the breas of the burgers was buttery, and the coffee shake was horrible you can literally taste chunks of ground coffee and the tables and trays were sticky and the people making the burgers some of them had gloves on and others just reusing the gloves. Nasty place

Are you craving a delicious burger with a generous portion of fries? Well, I should not be the one to try to convince you that Shake Shak is one of the best places for a pitstop where you can find exactly that. We were in LI a few weeks ago, and we came here for breakfast. It was relatively empty, and most of the indoor dining tables were vacant. Technically speaking, our breakfast was at lunchtime, so we supplemented the burgers craving with a couple of beers.
Great burger...so fresh and med well as a standard..my daughter, 13 years old, said the hot dogs were awesome. We dined on s Sunday afternoon and although full we got seats without a wait. A pleasant Sunday lunch with my daughter. The casual dining was thoughtful with food preparation being healthy. Love the health drinks offer instead of only soda from the fountain. Fast food presented as healthy as it can.
Super friendly. Chicken sandwich is delicious but way too small for the price. Maybe 1/4-1/3 lb patty...
As a Queens resident, our family makes 2-3 trips to Carle Place each year to shop for clothing. The kids always want to stop right here at Shake Shack for lunch when we do. Its a clean and pleasant place to eat inside, and well maintained outside with plenty of parking. The food is as good as youd expect for any Shake Shack. My only complaint is that the service is quite slow. It took them at least 10 minutes to prepare a hot dog! If youre not in a rush, though, its worth a visit.
Worst branch ever. The manager accused my group of friends for causing a mess in the bathroom when the bathroom was already filthy with tissues paper fill to the brim in the trash can and the floor was wet. When we told him that it wasn’t us and the bathroom was already dirty before we came into the restaurant, still accused us for the mess.
Gourmet burger with fresh ingredient and fast service. Very busy during peak hours but parking is not a problem as long as youre willing to walk a bit. Indoor and outdoor seating area are both clean, though no shade or covering for the outdoor area. High chairs are available and ramp is smooth. Diaper changing table available in the restroom. I am so glad that I dont need to go to Manhatten just to eat their burger.

Worst quality food experience ever at a shake shack!! I ordered a chicken sandwich and a shroom burger. The shroom burger was completely frozen like they just had it laying there for hours. The chicken sandwich only had bread on one side. So disappointed since I live so far away. Smh check your food quality before you leave this shake shack.

Just waited over an hour for 2 burgers. I ordered mobile pick up. They were busy so I didnt mind waiting a little bit. After 45 minutes I asked one of the guys up front how much longer and was told 2 minutes. Waited some more before asking again and my order couldnt be found. So it has to be reordered. No apology for keeping me waiting or anything
Got my son a bacon cheeseburger and we got fries and shakes. Everything was delicious.Much better option than your typical fast food. A bit pricier but worth it.
Amazing as always! Its a shame the menu is smaller post pandemic! ( The concretes are missed!) But still happy they survived! A must have experience!
LOVE it here! Food taste like its straight from the grill and i dont get that disgusting greasy feeling after eating. Their shack sauce is delicious!!! I love their cheesy bacon fries! Milkshakes are great. A bit on the pricey side but its good quality food! Its also so fast. I went at 10pm and it was PACKED with people and i got my food in minutes! They bring it to you and staff is always friendly and patient. Love this place
They have the best burgers to me right now even sometimes idk if its new works or anything but the burger dont hit the same everytime and once in a blue my burger be cold & I still heat it up and enjoy it😊

I ordered their signature truffle burger and regular fries. They put only a drop of sause on the burger. When asked for some more sause. They wanted to charge 2.17 for a tiny shot cup. Such a disgrace. I will never buy from this place again. Overpriced dry burgers.
Had the mushroom burger which is a delicious crispy portabella mushroom. Plus the most amazing fries you just cant stop eating.
I order 5 shake burger. One of burger missing tomato, one missing lettuce, one of burger missing both..... use to be good place but not anymore.
Yummy but I wish they had more selections in their menu. For example, they have crispy chicken, but not grilled chicken. They should work have healthier options, such as salads. Lines, while long, go fast. This place attracts both young and older crowd.
One of the best hamburgers you can get. The portion is also not too much which is great. The shakes are great. The only negative is that youll have to hunt for seating during peak hours. Service is great and the food ones pretty quickly.
Great burger place but not much else. The burger is the hero and best part of the restaurant. The fries is so bland and boring. Shakes are sweet but lacks complexity. The prices are high when you get done. But I like the various burgers. I like Bobby Flay for the shakes, fries and burgers. Too bad they all closed down.

Very nice place with delicious burgers , just very busy and the waiting time its between 15 to 25 minut , very easy parking .I gave 1 star because they forgot to put all my order in the bag, after I got home I found that some things where missing .
Good food. But they need learn how to pick up the pace. They stay making people late from their shifts/breaks.
It was a take-out so, of course, we had to wait a bit. Its worth the wait but you would still appreciate a faster service!

Great burgers and great service, what more could you want?! Everytime I go the food comes out quick and it’s always delicious. Plenty of seating, indoors and out, though parking can be limited in peak hours.

I worked here for about 2 years & The best part about working at Shake Shack was sharing a space with my talented , fun, & exuberant Crew members . It made coming to work more enjoyable . All of the kitchen crew supported each other because managers are usually no where to be found , leaving the(crew) to fend for themselves . Managers participate in acts of skunking employees and tag teaming crew members as a form of retaliation when they don’t like something that was done or said . They favor and are lenient towards the Spanish speaking employees compared to the other races . For example if you say something that they don’t like (speak up for yourself) then they will leave you on a station all day for weeks or send you on early lunch breaks or fabricate stories to get you terminated as a form of retaliation .To get anything resolved you have to go over your General Manager & Store managers and go straight to HR or Corporate Headquarters . The Management staff is very unprofessional especially the female managers they gossip about crew members which is a form of skunking but nothing ever happens to them . In the shack the managers do as they please with the employees because they know it’s “Our word over Theirs”. Hence the reason this specific location goes through so many employees is due to POOR MANAGEMENT .
Visited this location during a weekday afternoon with 2 other people. The place was practically empty so we were hoping for quick service however the food seemed to be taking a while…after about 20-25 minutes of waiting the waitress finally came over, apologized for the wait and told us our entire meal will be refunded since the service took so long. The food came out and it was as good as any Shake Shack food I’ve had- it was GREAT. We really appreciated that the staff acknowledged the long wait time and offered us a full refund. Will be back!
I love me some Shake Shack burgers. There really delicious and filling. Cheese fries are great and the staff is always super friendly and engaging. Definitely a great place to have lunch in the neighborhood
This location was very nice spacious. It was busy but that did not delay orders. We sat outside and the heaters were really good did not feel like you were outsideAnd food definitely good !
Good Staffs serving well; however, it does taste Not Much as Good as I expected.
I ordered a drink and waited for 40min and I still get nothing. People kept coming in and filled with the whole place here. The employees here don’t care you at all. They don’t check for your order and even yield to customers to don’t get closer to the counter. It’s a worst social distance practice here, as well as the employees attitude.
Two burgers, two fries, two shakes......yes my Bacon Cheeseburger was good, but a bit over priced in my opinion. Food was tasty, shake was good too, and service personnel kept the place ship shape and service with a smile.
20 minutes after we ordered to learn they ran out of vanilla ice cream and delivered cold chicken nuggets

I like this store but today’s experience is so bad for me. I order online by its APP and arrived around 20 minutes later. I waited there for 20 mins and still didn’t see my order. I reloaded maybe someone mistake my order and asked the waiter there to check. However he never heard my question and always asked me to wait!! Then ten minutes later I still got my meal then I tried to ask everyone there I could ask. Then someone in the kitchen finally found my order is not on his list. I waste almost one hour there! And when the waiter realize the order is not on the list still ignore me!
Slow! This place needs a faster workflow. Or more workers? Seeing In-n-Out burger go faster and 2-3x cheaper products, Shake Shack can be faster.
The burger and chicken sandwich was juicy and delicious. The cheese fries were delectable with the cheese sauce, plus bacon. Taste very much homemade.
Service was good but not great. Staff defiantly needs more training. But the food. Wow was it salty. The burger meat was seasoned heavy with salt and the only way i could finish was with the milk shake.
Im not a huge fan of Shake Shack (pricey, long wait times) but wanted to take a moment to speak to the Shroom burger. This is a delicious alternative to eating meat and was, honestly, worth visiting Shake Shack to try.

I’ve eaten here, or taken out, a few time and the staff is very friendly with great service that’s fast. There’s also adequate seating, indoors and out if you want to stick around.

Your best bet is to order it online or through the app. Its too small a space to social distance while in line to order or waiting for food. App and mobile people get their food in their tent
It’s an okay place for burgers. Not much better than McDonald or Burger King!!I wish we had In and Out Burgers in our area who had far better Burgers at substantially lower price
Shack shack makes a good burger. I enjoy all types of burgers, they all have flavor profiles and I like to mix it up. They use the smash method - lots of crust on the outside. I know thats not for everyone. Fries are well cooked, crusty on the outside & fluffy on the inside. You cant go wrong with their shakes. My favorite, Vanilla, is loaded with flavor. Shack shack in Westbury has plenty of seating both indoors & out. After you order they bring the food to your table. Its worth the wait.

I used to enjoy the food from shake shack and today i ordered the franks with cheese and fries. The service was horrible waited for my to go order for over 20 minutes - very disorganized place and the hot dog was dried out and cold and a very small amount of cheese it was horrible and I will not go back ever. Very dissapointed

I will admit it was pricey second time dining there. A cheeseburger ,fries and a shake close to twenty dollars. I can get the same meal at burger for less !!!!!!! Would I make the effort to go there where I live no ! I was in the area and said let me try it again !

We ordered our food at 2:22 pm and after waiting until 3:05pm my husband went up to the counter and our food was sitting there. We had ordered 2 milkshakes- I had to get the attention of a team member and show her my receipt. She proceeded to make my shakes. We were highly disappointed in the food. It would have been good had it been hot. Will not visit this store again.
My favorite part of my visit to shake shack was Isaac taking my order with a happy and pleasant demeanor and Brianna bringing me my meal in a timely and professional manner.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The wait times were not bad (considering), and social distancing was enforced which made me feel very safe. I saw one employee was dedicated to cleaning, and she made a point to keep every surface as clean as possible, which was great to see!At one point a customer ignored the staff only sign in front of the soda fountain, but an employee (the manager I believe) immediately went over and informed the customer that an employee would be happy to fill his drink. He then stood in front of the fountain until the employee with the sanitizing wipes was available to clean the fountain, making sure there was no unwanted contact.This was my first time dining out since COVID, and I was extremely impressed with how the staff handled everything. It made me feel very safe, and like the staff actually cared about their customers. 5 stars, 10/10. Definitely recommend!!!!

Amazing staff. super kind and took their time with each customer to make their experience a pleasant one. it was super busy when i went but the staff worked hard and quickly to get everyone their orders. my order was all correct. it was a regular shakeshack meal, so nothing extraordinary but the service was top notch and definitely stood out compared to most other food places, especially during the pandemic. good job to the staff :) keep it up
Absolutely great, stood in line for about 5 mins and decided to start an online pick-up at the shelf order and got food within 10 mins. great sms notification service.im sure it would have taken 10+ mins just to get to the counter to order, so very pleased with this option and food was delicious.

Im so disappointed at Shake shacks in Garden city NY. I purchased 1 double cheese burger and 2 single Cheese burger, plus 3 fries 2 cheese 1 regular. My order clearly stated 6 items on the app. I paid for 1 cheese separately from the app, which I had to go back to my car to get the money to pay for. When I got home 1 fries was missing, and theres no way of contacting a manager or anyone, the message system says to leave a message for manager to contact back, no recording machine is accessible. Special since theres a storm outside, I was looking forward to enjoying my food.
Just had a pleasant experience at Garden City Shake Shack! Sunday afternoon had a crowd of people waiting in line, so I opened up the Shake Shack app and completed an online order. Surprisingly, my order went through with 10 minute expected wait time, so we waited warmly in the car, social-distanced! The app tells you the status of the order, once it says Completed, I went inside from the left side (facing the restaurant) to pick up, and there it was! My order was there, ready to be picked up. Great job Shake Shack!
First of all, the food was cold (barely warm) when I received it. Second of all, half of the order was wrong. I ordered cheese fries but received regular fries even though on the receipt it shows cheese fries. On one of sandwiches I specified no pickles but it came with pickles so I had to throw that sandwich out. At last I ordered shack sauce and it only came with ketchup. Just because I placed a order over online doesn’t mean the food quality has to be this bad. I tried to talk to the manager over the phone few times and nobody picked up. During this covid time if I can’t trust on you guys to make my order correctly, what is the point of you guys being open?
Way too expensive to frequent it cost me $60 for a small bag of burgers ridiculous they werent that great and forget about buying a shake there you could buy stock in the shade company for less money

Always a hit. I seek out Shake Shack everywhere I go. Had the spicy chicken sandwich for the first time, along with the spicy chicken bites. Both were great. My only issue is that I didnt get my bites with my initial order. Had to go back and wait while my sandwich was getting cold. Besides that the food was excellent.
Service was good and wait wasnt long. Food was good and seem fresh. But shakes was like mini. It was like for a toddler and for the price of it. I should had got a health drink from a juice spot.
Love this place for the food but mostly for the staff. We ordered smokestacks, blood orange lemonade, chicken dogs, custard and fries to stay, all delicious. While we were eating a staff member saw our custard and asked if we wanted her to put it in the refrigerator until we were finished with our burgers, thought that very considerate (little things and attention to details make me happy). Ive been to other Shake Shacks, this one is super efficient and always clean. Ive also ordered online, my orders have always been correct and on time which is super helpful when Im in a rush.
If you want a luke warm burger, this place is great. They don’t have their Mobile App order act together as well as other locations. Your food sits out in an open air patio and sooner or later someone comes by to see who is waiting. “Straw and napkins are in the bag. “ Nope, not at all. If you’re ordering for pick up try the Lake Success location instead. They do a much better job.

The staff worked quickly to get orders out in a timely manner. The food was hot and the shakes were delicious. Although the condiments counter needed some tending to, I could tell that someone had cleaned it. Not too bad for a fast food chain. Id go back to this one, especially for the milkshake. Good job Shake Shack!
Love Shake Shack! This location has parking and has been very clean every time I’ve visited. Shakes are thick and don’t melt immediately. The chicken nuggets are probably the best I’ve ever had. The Shake Meister burger is my favorite burger, I wish they’d put it on the menu permanently! The only time we had an item missing from an order, we had already driven home, so I emailed Shake Shack customer service. They were friendly and apologetic, and they compensated us with a $15 credit, which totally made up for both the money spent and the frustration of missing the item!
Use the App and do pick up. Always long wait. I usually order on line with the app while I am shopping at Trader joe. And just went right in to do my pick up. Inside is clean and nice but just very busy during lunch time.
Used to love this place. I just order $50+ worth of food and everything came cold . chicken n shack, shack burgers . everything. I felt cheated out of my hard earned money. Im not sure about others, but $50 for me is expensive with the current economy.the food was not even room temperature. The fiid had a weird smell to it....my entire family was so disappointed especially my little kids smh. The wait times are usually longer at this location, I mean 30 min wait times... If im getting freshly cooked, hot food. And then if I am waiting for the food to come off the grill why am I being served cold food. The burger buns were even cold. Shake shack has went from the my best choice in burger joints to the worst. Dunno what happened.
I haven’t been to in and out burger in California or five guys here in New York but this was the best damn burger I have ever had in my entire freaking life. I had the smokehouse burger with bacon and cheese fries and strawberry mint lemonade came up to $17. It was the best food I’ve EVER tasted. I will definitely be returning there. Never ever ever ever ever ever going back to the 🤡 or 🍔 🤴.
Love the food, its a bit ridiculous that you cant get a combo and you have to pay for everything separately. Its even MORE insane that shakes only come in one size, they should change the name but the food is delicious.
Went on a Sunday night - my first time after passing many times and seeing it always busy. Well, pleasantly surprised! It is fast service, give order, and wait for your buzzer when ready, nice table seating, TVs, well organized. I asked if they had dinner salad choices, nope, so burger it was. Wow - delicious char-broiled and flavorful small size cheese burger! Not sure what seasoning but it was great.

Good food prepared to order. Takes a little longer than fast food but worth the wait. Today i tried their raspberry-ginger lemonade with my meal and it was outstanding. In pleasant weather the seating on the outdoor patio is a definite plus. Pagers to tell you when your order is ready keep things flowing smoothly at the counter. A good place for lunch.
Just had a frustrating and disappointing Shake Shack experience tonight at this location. My husband and I placed the order on the app for pick up since the place was busy inside. We waited in the parking lot until we got the text that our order was ready. My husband went in and in fact, order was not ready. He had to wait an additional 20 mins until they had our order out. This was just a slight annoyance but seeing that they were packed tonight (Saturday night), we came to accept that it sometimes happen. We got over it. Another interesting observation was that our bag was oddly sticky. Sure, it’s a food place and things can get sticky. We threw on some sanitizer and got over it. We got home and to our surprise (is it really at this point?) our order was missing some chicken bites...we got our Korean sauces but no chicken bites. Lovely. We went back to the app to try and at least get a refund for the chicken bites we never received. There’s no option to. Awesome. And now I have to deal with a hangry husband who refuses to eat the food we ordered because of this experience at this location. Fun. Is he being dramatic? Yes. Are we feeling salty towards this particular location? Yes. Will we be back at this location? No. Will we be back at another location? Debatable.A good thing that came out of this was that I finally found out that the Korean sauce is delicious. We were curious about it for quite some time and now I know. If only I had some chicken bites to enjoy it with...Overall, please improve your notification’s response to real time. We wouldn’t have minded waiting in the car longer if that was what was needed. We just didn’t appreciate the false alarm of our food being ready when it wasn’t. And we know now to always check if our order is all there. We usually do when it comes to other food chain places but now we know that this ritual needs to be applied here as well. “Trust is earned, not given”.

Super expensive. The quality though is top notch and that extends to many of their menu items. They also server you relatively fast compared to how crowded it can get. Employees also seem to enjoy their job so it seems like they create a good atmosphere to work in which translates to how they treat their customers. Despite the large crowds there is ample seating. Not a complaint but just a suggestion: some type of combo deal instead of having to order everything separate.
Been here a few times until I realized how ripped off Ive been getting. You can go to places like rare 650, get a better quality burger and fries for close to the same price as here. I dont know what we are paying for honestly. The burgers are ok. But they are nothing special. Better than smashburger. But at the end of the day, its just a burger. $10+ for a. Double smoke shack (a bacon cheeseburger) add on $3+ for fries and you have a $13+ meal. I go-to rare 650, get a nice size single burger (just as filling as the double at shake shack) and it comes with fries. Currently priced at $18 with the same apple wood smoked bacon for a better quality burger and they are currently offering 10% off on all curbside pick up orders making it. $16.20. So, for the extra $2, get yourself a better quality meal over this. Just my opinion.
I like the design of the place its cool inside too. I thought the price was high for the small burger and small drink. The taste was better than the usual but just wanted a little bit more for my money. Will try it again though.
The environment is Cool.. staff is friendly, outdoor dining is available, but currently unavailable due to construction. I ordered a double shack with bacan and fries. Food was really good burger done right and not overcooked. Would definitely go back on my next visit.
First, the mobile app said that my food would be ready for pick up at 1:05. I waited until 1:20 to receive my food. Between the time of me waiting for my order to be called, the employees decided to move all of the mobile orders to a different section without alerting anyone inside the restaurant that had been waiting. After I finally received my food I went to check my order and saw that what I requested on my receipt was NOT what I received.When I went back inside to let them know they got my order wrong, I didn’t even receive an apology. Instead the employee asked the “manager” for the items they forgot to place in my order on the side. When he returned to the counter to give it to the employee he said aloud “was any of this in the receipt ?” And glanced at my bag and said “oh no it wasn’t” without even acknowledging me the customer with any curtesy. I had to correct him because he was wrong the items were on my receipt, and he decided to go out of his way to disrespect a paying customer that got their order wrong. I have never experienced such rude and disrespectful behavior from Shake Shack ever. For an employee to go out of their way to make a customer’s experience already worse than a messed up order is disgusting. After this visit I know I will never return.
The Shake Shack was the expected fresh food and tasty thick shake I went there for. The staff was nice and attentive, like a dine-in make reservations kind of restaurant. I was most impressed by the straw that came with my shake. Id heard horror stories about these new straws and people calling for restaurants and fast food eateries to return to the sea turtle killing plastic straws. If you need a good biodegradable straw, kick up your heels and head to the Shake Shack - good food included.

Color me unimpressed.I had a burger, fries and a shake that came out to around $17. As far as I’m concerned, the food is overpriced and underwhelming. This was my first time going to a Shake Shack and I completely fail to see what the hype is about. I’d feel more comfortable spending the same money on a Triple Whopper meal at Burger King. The Popeyes Chicken Sandwich meal cost less and is more significant.I was expecting there to be a wide choice of shakes to choose from. I had my mind set on a mango shake before I got there. The menu is smaller than I expected and I ended up with Strawberry.The restaurant is nice with an attractive industrial theme and park- bench design.I see no reason to go back.Prices are too high. If my meal was jut $10 then I’d be a little more forgiving.3/5= average

The place has always been packed whenever I have went there. The burger is delicious, especially since they use potato buns. I have never waited longer than 10 minutes for my order. The staff is always nice and courteous. Overall the nice place to grab a quick bite.

I had a great experience at this establishment. All of the workers were so kind and efficient and the place is so sparkly clean. I loved my shroom burger, fries and coffee shake; the soft lighting and music really allowed for an relaxing dining experience. I truly appreciate that add-ons (pickles& onions) are at no additional cost and the water easily accessible. Would totally recommend!!!
Double cheeseburger was hot and very enjoyable. Unfortunately the fries were cold and not worth the price. I will mention that it was a take out order, service was quick from ordering to pick up and my travel was only 3 minutes away before consuming my meal.
I love this Shake Shack for its open-air/semi-outdoor seating. Quick and excellent service. The food is always fresh and delicious. Definitely one of my stops after returning from the beach!
My first time in one. The food was good, but pricey. I had a single smoked shack, 7.99 for just the burger. 3.00 for fries. Then a small drink and small shake. It cost me 12 dollars. I cant believe fried nor a drink came with the burger at that price. Like I said the food was good, but more than I wanted to pay for what it was.
Fair or not, often when a customer visits a restaurant for the first time their return to that restaurant really depends on what they ordered and whether they liked it or not...So tonight i went in and ordered the wrong kind of burger for me and i didnt like it at all.I was upset and almost walked out furious about wasting my money when i changed my mind and decided to tell the counter people about it. The man who i thought was the manager was instantly concerned and seemed extremely eager to help me turn my frown upside down. He was extremely nice and patient and explained to me that he thought id probably like a different type of burger and went above and beyond to make me happy. I was shocked because most places give you a hard time and act like who cares.Get out.Not the case here at all.I immediately thought what an honorable gentleman this guy was and calmed down.I loved my burger and instantly wanted to do a google review and thank the man named Gianni who was single handedly responsible for turning this 1 star review into a 5.He was a class act.The other service members communicated well with him and each other as well i noticed and i absolutely WILL be going back.Awesome service and great food.Very much appreciated.

First time here and I LOVED IT!! Had a shack burger and a salted caramel shake and I was not disappointed. The people are very nice here, gives you that restaurant feel, as opposed to another fast food place. Dont know what is in that shack sauce, but it is pretty great. If you havent tried it, try it now.

Okay, Shake Shack is a NYC must for hamburger junkies like me. Also milkshake junkies. Be aware, the burgers are expensive and arent served with fries or a drink, so two people eating will be $35.00 easy.The burgers are delicious, and the milkshakes are pretty much perfect. They use grass-fed beef and they use real dairy for the milkshakes. The fries are passable, but nothing special.Why only 3 stars? The lines are always long and then you wait for them to call your number after you order. Seating is always limited and again youll have to wait. The burgers are smaller than what one might expect for the price.
Went to get a Burger, they gave me a sample of the spicy Nuggets. I Prefer the regular ones the powdered spicy ones are a little dry. They had great service 👏
I LOVE these burgers and cheese fries! The service was also very quick in spite of the fact that the place was packed. They put these peppers inside of the burgers that are out of this world. Although its somewhat pricey I still feel its worth it every once in a while.
This is my third or fourth time coming to this shake shack and theres always something that doesnt make my experience 100% great, something always spoils it. If its not the bathrooms not being clean or shake not being just on point or the condiments area messy, this it was the worst one so far. As soon as I walked in I saw the cashier rolling her eyes and making a gesture like she doesnt want to be there and she took my order the same way. Of course, my burger came out without lettuce and I all I said was no pickles. I come here because I feel the food is great but having a burger without lettuce ruins it. I had like that because I didnt have much time to wait for them to fix it or give me a new one. EXCELLENT FOOD BUT THEY NEED TO GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER!!!
Whats not to love about Shake Shack? Prices are reasonable, taste is consistent across visits, and there are just enough options to satisfy anyone, no matter their diet. Gluten-free bun offered, and beer is also served. Shakes are thick and delicious. Fries are crispy and perfectly salted. Make sure you give the mushroom burger a try!
Love the shake burger! I would say the food is 5/5, service is 5/5 as well.Waiting is not that bad compare to one in the Madison square park.A plenty of seats indoor and a few tables and seats outdoor as well.Overall, Ill definitely come back to this place and recommend this place to my family and friends.
Came to this Shake Shack location yesterday with my sister for a grab and go lunch. After completing our order and about to leave, I got a text from a family member to order 1 more item before we left. So we got back in line, and ordered again, then proceeded to wait for our food. The manager, Chris, noticed that we were waiting again for food and already had a Shake Shack bag in our hand, politely came over and asked if something was wrong with our order? We explained the situation to him about having to add an additional item to our order, he then requested to the kitchen that our one additional item be rushed. He then explained to us that he did not want the rest of our food getting cold as he wanted us to enjoy our meal. Pretty good food. It tasted better knowing there was a manager there that cared about his customers. Thanks again Shake Shack and Chris for the wonderful experience!
Whenever I see a Shake Shack, I try to make it a priority to eat there. Food is amazing and so are the shakes. Recommend to everyone.
Love shake shack!!! Best burger hands down. Always juicy and filled with flavor. Also their chicken sandwich is very tasty. Would also recommend their shakes. Haven’t tried their hot dogs but I’m sure they would be excellent also! Shack stack is my go-to burger. Can’t go wrong!!! 😍

Honestly this is my favorite and go to shake shack location even though I live in Brooklyn and have the option of much closer locations. The food is always on point and the staff is friendly. I havent missed yet in terms of quality like I have with for example battery parks location. The kitchen is very visible from all sides and exceptionally clean for a fast paced restaurant like shake shack. Overall pleased with this location.
They lost my on-line order. Gage no reason why. Kept me waiting in the cold for over an hour. The food they gave me was cold. There are a number of better places to get a burger in the area.
Shake shack is known for their burgers and they do deliver.However in these times I can not recommend this particular shake shack.This specific place is extremely busy all the time, which is fine and acceptable. However this trend is maintained even through covid, the dine in was packed, and lines were almost the same as pre-covid.To make matters worse, and I almost gave 1 star for this, their take out experience is terrible.1. Curb side is not actually curb side, they get so busy no one really bothers. They also dont pick up the phone.2. This is 3 for 3 where they charge but forget 2-3 items... Right now for example, they forgot a chicken sandwich and a burger... Thats a whole meal....Would not recommend for takeout, and personally will stay away from inside dining as it seems like a great plan if you want to be introduced to covid.

One of the few places that havent put customer service on the back burner during the Covid19 situation. Everybody was masked and gloved, as they should be (including myself), but they were also very courteous and upbeat. It made my visit feel normal, unlike some places that feel like Im entering a radioactive hot zone. I chalk it up to the young men and women on the staff, youth adapts and understands what the new normal is. Great job.

Food was really good! Waiting system sucked but I understand the new Korean sandwich was popping so it was worth the wait, felt bad for the kid that was getting yelled at he was just doing his job!
Great food and shakes every time Ive gone. Ice cream (Custard, as they call it) is thicker and creamier than most places, and burgers are well-rounded with great flavor. Service is slow but thats due to the fact that its always (almost always) busy. Dont expect any vegetarian options or healthy options here :)
Add Shake Shack to the list of Best Burgers? You must be joking. If it were half the price, Id say it was the better of most chain burgers. Its roughly what Five Guys is (neither is particularly good at the price). Cut the bill by half and Ill say it, along with Five Guys, is the best burger you can get for $5.Trouble is, its neither $5, nor is it the best. For a similar price, I can go to the best one-off around (pubs, diners, other, local burger places, etc.) and get a far better burger. This is why I just dont understand the crowds for these burger places that are a mere baby step above McDonalds, Burger King, Wendys and other similar crapburgers. Shake Shack is passable, if you dont mind the occasional nugget of gristle in the always overcooked burger. But the price makes it a poor investment compared to a real burger place.
First off let me start off by saying that when I order from shake shack app and pick up in store my order has been perfect, during the pandemic we started ordering through uber eats and no complaints, but the last 2x I ordered through uber eats my order has been completely wrong and its terrible because there is no one to complain to at the hour we get our food. The first mess up was my wife orders a lettuce wrapped burger and she received a burger with one small piece of soggy lettuce in a box and the burger wasnt well done how she ordered it. And the second mess up was tonight. I ordered a double stack w/o cheese add onion slices and I received a single with cheese and bacon. No onion and no double but I paid for a double. I worked in the food industry and I dont understand how hard is it to read an order and package it right. I hate being rude because I appreciate everyone but when I get to treat myself to a burger once every 2 weeks I would appreciate if it was done right, thats it!

Loved the food! I had the chicken shack sandwich (fried), the bacon cheese BBQ fries (for a limited time--go NOW), and a shake that was half chocolate and half peanut butter....they mixed it for me. This restaurant is a total disappointment. My first time to try Shake Shack, I waited an hour for a burger, fries and shake. The burger was ok, the fries were cold and milkshake was melted. I will go to Wendy’s next door from now on.
I ate at the Shake Shack for the very first time! It was nice to see so many young people working! They were very courteous and greeted their customers in a gracious manner. The establishment was very clean and thank goodness my cousin and I arrived just before noon on a Tuesday, because this place gets PACKED! My burger was delicious and the vanilla shake? OMG! I paid for it the next few days...the shake was probably too rich for my stomach, but worth it! Ill be back! Lol😁
Not a fan. The bun killed it for me. Shakes hold up under scrutiny, there yummy. Shake shake is for a specific customer. Im simply not one of them. Also, I observed the young people behind the register making fun of a customer, this affected my meal. Never went back.
Love this SHAKE SHACK more so during COVID bc they are orderly and I feel very safe. They package everythingso nicely. I come here almost every time before I shop in Bloomingdales, Off Saks, and Nordstrom Rack. I love their double even though Im not that hungry but the double makes me feel satisfied.
I go here and almost every time I visit the Roosevelt Field Mall. This location is usually packed and parking can be hard to find, depending on how busy the shopping center is that day.The line moves fast, the staff is friendly, and food tastes great.It used to be hard to find seating here on the weekends but they tented their outdoor seating and added heating lamps. It made room for around 10 more tables.
Treat yourself to a delicious fast meal served piping hot. The chicken & burgers are incredibly juicy and the fries are crispy - best topped with cheese. Enjoy the new patio in the winter as well as sunny spring days.
This is a great location and plenty of seat indoors. They also have outdoor seating although last time I went they were doing renovations to hopefully make it look nicer and expand the outdoor seating. Food quality is as expected as a shake shack!Its also next to an outdoor small mall/outlet area which you can stroll around or even do some groceries shopping!
I was not impressed with the Shake Shack. I have eaten numerous times at the Shake Shack on Eighth Avenue in Manhattan. It has always been good. I tried the one in Garden City. I did not like it at all. The burger was too well done and cold. I asked for well done fries, they were cold and far from well done. I will not return. It was expensive.

I can see why this place is so popular!!! The food is great and the shakes are well worth the drive to get to. The shakes arent so thick that you feel like your cheeks are going to be sucked inside your mouth. They are creamy and oh so yummy! You can also have any kind of ice cream you want.

Its Shake Shack. Ive never been to a bad one before. This reviews easy. The only Ill say is that it gets busy, so you may need to look around for a seat; this also means youve probably waited for parking space. During peak times, Id suggest ordering online before you get there, pick up the order, and eat in the car. We go for the food, so it doesnt matter to me where Im eating Shake Shacks deliciousness.
For what it is very good tasty food and the managers and the ones on those levels are always willing to give you something for free. So make time for a place like the Shake Shack. Tasty and they get you in and out pretty quick. Always clean good facilities also wheelchair accessible

Great location! This place offers a nice stop for tired shoppers to chill. Shake shack always sends environmental friendly messages to the society. The recycle wood table adds on to it. I cant deny its kind of contradictory to the fried food and creamy drinks. But who can resist the small and delious juicy meat patty.
Way too crowded. It took about 30 minutes to get our order and we had to come back because they forgot a burger. Never again.

Terrible experience. 4:30 on a Sunday, so I’d expect crowds, but not 25 minutes to get chicken nuggets, a shake, and iced tea.Got the wrong size drink, and no straws. Asked for straws, the guy rudely gave me a full handful of them.Not acceptable.
Waited 15 min for my food while there was a staff of 15 and only 4 other customers. The workers were fooling around. I saw one guy scratching his hair behind the counter and others hanging out and leaning on the garbage.The hot dog was good but the fries seemed like they were probably the frozen type. A little pricey for what it is. I might give them another chance if someone starts managing the place.

2021-08-19It’s Shake Shack - with all the pros and cons you come to expect from the chain. In my opinion, it’s fantastic burgers, delicious fries and great milkshakes. This place does it just like hoped for.Waiting times are a bit long, though you can put in your order ahead of time via app. Prices are not cheap, but it’s the same as everywhere. The place was a little dirty but tolerable, especially with the large amount of outdoor seating it offers.

2022-03-03My past experience wasnt good. I strongly believe it has a lot to do with the location. This time, it was very good, the bun was buttery, the burger was flavorful, and the veggies were fresh. The fries were crisp and delicious. My overall review is that if you want a change from the regular fast food establishments, then give them a try.

2021-12-29Shake Shack has provided me with the most delicious burger Ive ever tasted. Their fries and milkshakes are incredible as well. They also provide free filtered water which is always amazing. This location is always super busy. Im always waiting around 10 minutes for my food. It is also a bit on the pricey side. One small shake costs over $5. Its worth it though.
