Quite possibly the slowest shake shack in America. Many of the people who frequent this location are students going for a quick bite before or between classes. The woman next to me waited 20 mins for a coke. I ordered a plain chicken sandwich (no fries, no drink, just a sandwich) and also waited upwards of 20 mins. Its obvious the location prioritizes app orders before in-person customers. The staff was able to crank those out with efficiency as order after app order went out the door while in-person customers waited. When the woman and I both asked about our orders we were met with rudeness and that was after another staff member threw her hands up to say ask someone else and walked away. The only thing this Shake Shack has going for it is location because the service is truly abominable.
Nice staff and tasty food but order wasnt customized as per the receipt.My kid had requested sauce on the side; so, I had requested that for both our burgers and this was indicated on the receipt taped to the tray, but both had sauce on the burger but my kid was too shy for me to request that the burgers be remade.
The shakes are nice and thick and enjoyable and filling. Thats important since it is called the shake shack. However the food is meh. The burger is a burger. Not particularly flavorful or enjoyable but food all the same. The service is fast enough that you wont be annoyed but not fast enough if you are in a hurry. On the whole, a decent experience. Not particularly impressive or anything.
I am soo mad about i placed my order around 7:30 and one hrs later i call them to ask about my order and they didn’t know anything about it i give them my name my order number and still they couldn’t helped me and the customer service was horrible now i don’t have my order neither my money back isn’t crazy i will never order from this place seriously 😒
Horrible experience. Imagine waiting for your food and being excited just to see your hot dog is burnt and your smoke shack burger is to burnt to even chew and has bacon that isn’t even cooked correctly. Never again I’m sticking to the shake shack in 125th please don’t waste your money here.
For the third time of me visiting Ive had my order take about 15 minutes for a single shake to be made. By the time I got the shake i realized it was done wrong, but because of the incredibly long wait I decided to just leave after that. Dont think Ill ever visit again after today.
So after I finished placing my take out order the cashier asked me if I have my vaccination card?. I told me I do but I dont have it on me buy why am I being asked if I am not dining in. Being Asian I thought this was a weird question. I even asked the gentleman who ordered after me if he was asked for a vac. card and he said no
I had a $10 comp card to use at Shake Shack, which did not list any specific details about how it could be used. The cashier could not get it to work, and she finally discovered it could not be used on a veggie burger. I’m a vegetarian. No one at the restaurant was able to get it to work on a veggie burger and said there was nothing they could do, so I walked away with nothing. I went out of my way to visit the restaurant because of the comp card (with no specific restrictions listed) and couldn’t use it. Why discriminate against vegetarians? That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard.
This location should have a sign for pick-up orders. They have customers wait until they receive the orders from the workers they were 4 employees making orders while the customers wait in the line. I waited over 10mins for the order I make 30mins before I arrived at the location.
I just walked in your store on 116th street and broadway, the customer service was horrible. Everyone was standing around congregating. Another woman walked up to the counter, no one engaged either of us. The women walked the tablets and i said hello to get someones attention. The young ladies finally turned to me, she rolled her eyes and acted like i was bothering her. I just wanted to know if I could place my order in person. She informed me that I had to use the tablet. I made the decision to leave with my money. I dont know if it matters to you if someone decides not to purchase your product or not but I think it should. I will not be coming back. Customer service is very important to a business. Do better.

2021-07-18Love this branch! Really good burgers. Tried the beef ones and the hot honey chicken. Hot honey chicken was quite spicy, so ask for less habanero sauce if you can’t take the spice.Remember to order in advance on the app and choose “inside collection” so you don’t have to wait (don’t choose window collection as the system is not very accurate and you might end up waiting for a long time while your burger is sitting inside). Also, always ask the counter for your order; don’t just wait in the store!

2022-06-28Service was so so. Much better the other times Ive gone but hey 🤷🏾♀️. The burgers were alright. Needed something to cure the burger craving without having to go too far.**Update** have to say, Shake Shakes customer service seems legit. They reached out regarding my service, explained to them what happened and when. Said theyll reach out to the locations management. So Im hoping for the best.

2021-10-15I rarely write a review and never had an issue with Shake shack until today. Just ordered the new black truffle burger from this location via the app. They lost my order and they found it about 50 min later. The bad thing about the app is that you cant cancel the order or ask for a refund. When I got home, I opened the bag and this was the double black truffle burger. There goes 14 dollars down the drain

2022-06-02I’ve always gone to this shake shack. However today was so disappointing. I got there at 9pm and when I got to the register the lady asked for my order and asked if I wanted to dine in or take out. I said dine in. In the middle of eating my food a woman which I believe is a manager rudely starts yelling saying that everyone dining in has to go. She said “you guys have to leave we are closing so I don’t know you all have to go” mind you, they close at 10pm it’s 9:17 when she said that. I’m trying to finish eating and she comes out again and says we told you when you ordered that we were closing again she’s yelling. I was never told I couldn’t dine in. I don’t know what type of people work here but I will not come back to this shake shack. I didn’t even finish my food and threw it out. So rude and disrespectful to yell people to leave when clearly you’re opened and we’re eating. I told her you close at 10 she said I don’t care we’re closing. So Unprofessional.

2022-03-04Ordered 3 burgers with Shake Shack app, but it turned I received something completely different from what I ordered. Cant figure out how they made such an outrageous mistake. I mean, they cant even make a correct one out of three, they missed them all...The worst part is that the app does not allow refund, or replace, or even complaint. This is the last time I order anything from this place

2022-07-02Idk if the white chick who think all Asian names are the same is still there but, tonight was filled with some heart! Lemme tell you these people service with a smile and dance! Not only are they friendly! They get their jobs done! Keep up the good hiring, shake shack! Boot the garbage.

2022-03-26I usually order a mushroom burger and occasionally a normal burger and enjoy that but today I made the mistake of ordering a hot dog and some chicken nuggets to go around 8:45pm. First of all, there was nothing on the dog and no condiments or napkins in my bag. The dog was way overcooked, dry and leathery. The nuggets were so greasy that when you picked one up, the chicken slipped out of the breading and you were only left with greasy breading in your hand. I would have turned around and returned my order but I was already in the Bronx by the time I tasted my food. I took a few bites and made myself a salad instead when I got home. Ill stick to the burgers from now on.

2022-05-23Ordered from web site. a burger and a fries. got the almost ready, walk over now text. arrived at the window, nothing on the screen. Did not receive an Order ready text. so I had no clue if my order was ready or not. there several a lot of delivery guys ahead of me. window was closed and opened only when a order for one of the delivery guy was ready. I was standing there for like 15 minutes, finally I asked for my order when the window opened and it was sitting there the whole time. when I brought it back to my office there was no napkins and no ketchup. I hope the manager sees this and take note to improve service.
