Shake Shack in other cities:
If you need a place to sit or a restroom to use in this building, this is the place to go. The customer service was good, but the food is not very good. Plus, its overpriced for the quality. The lemonade is excellent & the french fries are good, if you like crinkle cut fries. We have Shake Shack back home, but was hoping the ones in NY would be better, but were very disappointed.
There was a huge line, but I will not fault them for that. The issue was that the service was on the slow side, they didnt even have napkins, and once the staff was informed, they just opened the huge package and left it on the counter. Then I finally got my food (took forever, about 30 minutes, even though I could see line of burgers), but I noticed that both ketchup pumps were empty. So I notified the staff. They told me there was no more ketchup. Ok, so I ate my fries without ketchup. When I was done with the meal, I noticed they started refilling the ketchup pump. I dont understand, as there were 2 staff members just chatting since my arrival. They could have refilled the pump when I first mentioned it. Also the table were gross. It seems that those 2 staff chatting dont bother to keep the place tidy. I actually used my own wipes and napkins to clean for myself, and then again for the next guest, because I felt so bad for whoever was going to use it next. Why do they charge the tip upfront? I gave 25% tip upfront when I paid for the meal. The service was horrible.
By far the slowest service I’ve ever seen at a shake shack. I work nearby and have come to this location four times. Each time takes longer than before.I’ve been waiting 15 mins since ordering with only 5 people in front of me. It’s stunning how slowly things move at this location.Staff seems like they’d rather be doing anything other than working here. I count more people working here than eating, and still takes half an hour from arrival to food-in-hand.
Hamburgers are OKwe went to 185 greenwich NY the customer service very bad, it was a big lane because they are work so slow and we order online, our surprise was that YOU CAN NOT ACCESS THE DINNING AREA IF YOU DECIDED TO BUY ONLINE.Very very bad!I would NOT recommend go to this place.I attached a pic of the dinning room less than 10 people eve though we couldnt eat inside, thats crazy
I came here with my husband and my little child for a quick dinner. As there was a line, I tried to order online at a table as usual. There looked many tables available. When I skipped the line to look for a table, a staff stoped us and said I had to order at the counter. I expressed that I was going to order online at a table but the staff looked down at me as if I was a non paying customer. What a rude service is! Other fast food restaurants like McDonald’s of course allow customers to order online at a table. What is a problem? Ok then my husband ordered at the counter. The same staff yelled at him to wait at exact wait area but not a table. They never smiled at us but just commanded us as if they were prison officer. Worst experience ever.
Usually this spot has no issues for me during my lunch break but today waited 45 min wait for my food while others after me got theirs. Had to ask several times before the lady calling out the names helped me expedite and it looked like they lost my order in the lunch rush. Unpleasant waiting experience will prob jus do mobile order from now on
This location consistently has the worst customer service of any restaurant I’ve visited. The people at the register are inefficient, often having to be told by other employees that they have a guest waiting. The cooks are unmotivated and needlessly slow. Service is generally disorganized. It’s really a shame.
Finally got to try this!!! Would like to say I am a fan of their burger now, especially those got the fried mushroom. Ordered the Shake Stack, the black&white milk shake and their bacon cheese fries. The burger was good. I love the sauce and the fried mushroom. Their beef patty was also very fresh. Great ingredients with reasonable size.Their fries taste better with ketchup actually, as having cheese made it too heavy. The crispy outside goes well with the ketchup as it would be a good combination of hot and salty to g with cold and sweet.Shake is good too, a little too sweet for me but good quality.
Shake shack renowned for their delicious burgers. Now they have breakfast too.The sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich was just as delicious as the burgers.Freshly made with real ingredients. Id definitely recommend trying this place out for breakfast. Admittedly, you wouldnt want this to be your everyday breakfast. But, every once in a while, its a good treat. The service is warm and friendly. While the staff were polite and discreet. Its a large place, ideally suited for the Fulton Street Station.Open early and late, its very convenient for grabbing a bite on your way home.
Im giving them 4 stars because of the size of burgers, it would have been a 5 star review but comparing the price vs size the burger size makes you think about the rest of it. The service was good it could be better bc the electronic device they give you didnt work so my food was at room temperature. The flavor and taste it was great we will be coming back next time.
It is a one of a kind restaurant. There is a wait though, since there are so many people who wants to try their kind of food. The wait is worth it, whatever you order it will surely be delicious. It is sort of pricey as well but the quality will beat the price. It is recommended if your choosing between mcdonalds, BK or wendys, Shake Shack will surely beat the other fastfood chain in its category/level.
The Fulton Center is beautiful! Shake Shack is located on the top level of the glasses in circular interior. The line was long but moved quickly. We shortened our wait time even more by ordering through the shake shack app. The restaurant is very clean and so are the Keyed entry bathrooms. The kitchen is latex free and offers gluten buns. I think the gluten free buns are the best I have tasted. They are thin and grilled. Actually, all of the food is good and the price is also for NYC. The Fulton center is very close to One World Trade Center and the 9/11 memorial and museum.
Despite a large seating area, it was difficult to get a seat on a Friday at 1:30pm. The line ups were out the door and the area by the pick up window was congested. Ordering and picking up food at this restaurant was very stressful. The bathrooms are clean however the carpets by them smelled terrible. The burgers and fries were tasty but the overall experience was mediocre.
If you want to try the best thing thats different from In n Out, get the Shack Stack. It’s beef patty, deep fried portobello mushroom stuffed with cheese, and other normal topping like lettuce and toms. It’s just so different from any burger I’ve had. The menu offers chicken and hot dog as well but they’re famous for the beef burger and shake. This location is better than others since it’s not outside on the street. It’s inside a big and modern subway transit. Must try!
Outlet in this tourist attraction location , Broadway, NY is crazy crowded and dont expect their service at the best. Queue is long, order and waited for numbers to call, possibly take another 20 ~30 mins if lucky or they might forget you and to get seat is horrible. Yet, what might you expect? Is New York premium fast foods. Yeah, I get it.🤯🤯🤯
Service isnt consistent (sometimes the staff are friendly and smiling, sometimes not so much) but the burgers seem to be fairly consistently yummy. A bit pricey for a fast food burger and shake, but definitely way tastier than McDonalds or Burger King, in my opinion. The lineups are long but move fairly quickly. Theres another wait for the food, but they give you buzzers so you can find a table while you wait.
This is a once a month kind of food. Delicious, juicy... But my God does it give you the itis. Come prepared! The line and service was fast considering the amount of people. Shakes were excellent, burgers on point (exactly as I ordered them) and the fries were cooked with the precise amount of crispiness, my only complaint is that they were slightly cold... Nothing that I couldnt eat. Would I go back? Absolutely!
My best burger was from Shake Shack. Cheese that oozes out when you bite into it. But, this store in NYC do not have the freshest of burgers. The cheese inside burger is cold and solidified which was disappointing. However, salted caramel shake was super yummy and compensated for the burger.
There is no management or organization here. It took me an hour to get into the restaurant. It’s been more than thirty minutes since I ordered, and I don’t have my food yet. No one in the restaurant does, but there’s a line of burgers waiting to be passed out to customers in the kitchen. There’s just no one to pass it out. They gave me the wrong buzzer, so they probably mixed up my order with another customer. It was probably faster to walk to the nearest other Shake Shack and order there than to get my food here.
Food is a five star. Wait time is a 1 star. The Smoking Burger is a must try. The fries were excellent and the lemonade was tart and not too sweet. Fulton Station is right there for sub rides. If you do not mind a bit of a walk go to the Shake Shack on the other side of the 911 Memorial for short wait time.
Poor customer service Dec.23.2021Visited this location for lunch on Dec.23.2021 with my mother who suffers from mobility disability and here are our thoughts and comments for: the corporate office, restaurant management as well as potential customers visiting this location:a) No priority courtesy for people with mobility disability to avoid the usual long tortuous long line to place an order to go.b) Short staffed (there was just one cashier for over 20 people standing on line waiting to order who were ahead of us (including groups of five customers ordering at all at once).c) Unwilling manager to talk to customer upon requesting further assistance to address current issues requiring immediate assistance. It will be greatly appreciate that the management and employees of Shake Shack showed more empathy and appreciation towards individual needs of customers who are bringing money to your business.
I have never been treated so poorly as I have been here today. Both the cashier and the guy calling orders were super rude with me and my family.I love shake shack, but I will never come again to this unit.Do not come here. There are plenty of nice restaurants around and even another shake shack a couple blocks away.
I had too much expectation of shake shake. It is a really small burger, even a patty is smaller than frozen burger at supermarket, and the milk shake is too thick and dense, it made me more thirsty. Super busy, have to wait 20mins in a line and after order extra 20mins. This burger is overestimated.
We only got a drink and some bacon cheese fries, they were good, there was about 10 people in line, and they only had one person taking orders when they had multiple people wandering around doing other things, when they had another register they could have opened to lessen the wait time.
I’ve heard a lot about Shake Shack so it was a must try when we visited New York!We ordered a chick’n’shake, two cheese fries and two shakes! They were all delicious, the best cheese sauce ever!!!!The burger was a lot smaller than I expected it to be.The shakes were a must try, I had the Christmas peppermint chocolate shake - if it’s available I’d recommend trying it!
Everytime i go to nyc i have to grab a shake shack lol, food was exatcly what I expected and the staff was super nice (shoutout to the guy who took my order twice last week, I didnt even have time to see his nametag but he was super nice even if he messed up my name lmao and helpful when I had to use my french bankcard!!) It was quite fast !!
I have always like shake shack but I think I really like this location. First time here and went fast. Didnt even know there was free refills of soda and while I was about to leave a guy asked if he could take the garbage and asked if I wanted one. Place felt open unlike the ones i have been to in the past with the exception of the one thats outside in midtown I think. Food is typical shake shack fare
Bizarre behavior by employees. One at the door had to ask another employee multiple times if I could enter to get my order, then multiple times if I could eat it inside. The answer to both was of course. Another employee moved my food while I was at the table because she wanted to wipe the table. They forgot half of my order and looked skeptical when I showed the receipt. Long lines. But the food was pretty good.
If you wanna a very good hamburger as fast food dont go to McDonalds or Burger King or Wendys or anyone else. Just look for shake and shake. There is many stores spread in NYC! You find easily, just look for a big line an them your are there. How to avoid it? Download the app place your order and just go to pickup. Simple like this!! And enjoy your sandwich!!!
Racial discrimination, racial discrimination, the delivery staff cant go to the toilet cant go to the bathroom, what is the reason? No delivery staff, can your dish make it?Racial discrimination is very poor, very poor attitude.I am a deliveryman, and I asked the staff again after two weeks today, and he said no, which is really racist. If not, can the food cooked by our deliverymen be delivered?
Not really fast food.Due to the high number of people ordering online and picking up there is a very long wait for food. We sat in store and were told the buzzer doesnt have the range to reach where we were sitting, defeating its purpose entirely. Had to wait amongst the hoardes of people waiting to collect and the buzzer went off for a good two minutes before it was ready.
This is one of my favorite local burguer joints to eat when i visit New York. The have a great variety of burguers and even a vegan option for those lant eaters. This one particulary is placed on the second floor. Has a nice view with with plenty of seating area. The prices are average
One of the top fast casual burger joints in NYC. I’ve tried various Shake Shacks around the country, and not quite the same taste as NYC. The quality of food and customer service is in line with the Danny Meyer standard of hospitality. Shout out to Uhuru, Jason Horvath and Sung Yoo for designing and outfitting this location. Local supports local.
The food is good but I waited for an hour for it to be ready. I’ve told the lady that be handling the orders that I’ve been waiting and waiting and she just tells me wait instead of making sure my food is being made. After an hour I got tired and decided to just ask for my money back because this is ridiculous an hour waiting for a burger and fries. Don’t suggest coming here.
A very nice location! Smacked inside the new Fulton Center. This shake shack is beautifully designed from the outside looking in and inside looking out.During the busier times (which is probably always), there is a greeter to hand you a menu to review as you wait in line.Everything else is like the other Shake Shacks. Great burgers, awesome shakes and good friendly service.Although the new Shake Shack in Astor Place uses a kiosk to take order so I hear.
Wow this shake shack has the best customer service I’ve ever experienced in a fast food place. It was well staffed and the people there (especially greeters and table clearers but also the grillers and cashier) were genuinely nice and helpful and seemed to really enjoy their jobs. They must be doing something right, creating a good work environment.
Its a Shake Shack, so its the usual overpriced-but-tasty burger. The issue I have with the location is the long line to order. Standing in line, there are all these signs encouraging you to order through the mobile app. The only catch? Mobile orders cant dine-in. And Im told thats the case AFTER I make my mobile order and approach the pickup counter.
Place is an absolute joke. They have a lady blocking the entrance telling people to put their masks above their nose, while you can see in the kitchen that their own staff cooking has both their mouth and nose exposed. You need to wear a mask when walking in but not when youre eating? Need a vaccine card to dine in, yet you can wait in the same place people eat as long as you ordered food if youre not vaccinated. This backwards logic makes zero sense whatsoever.
Proper mainstream american food but extremely tasty, proper taste of America. Helpful staff but the layout of the store is terrible enterance. Ordering station, collection station and exit all in one place. Causes carnage in one part of the shop. People everywhere. After you battle that, sit down and enjoy.
Wanted to grab some shake shack after a night out & it wasn’t crowded around 10 pm tonight. I ordered my food everything was fine. After me a group of black adults came & immediately a Spanish manager(F) with braces came forward suddenly shouting food is only to go unless they show vaccination proof -__-. I mean she was correct but it was weird she didn’t mention that to my girlfriend and I at any point while we ordered 5 seconds ago. Then she went as far as sending a worker around “checking” people have their vaccination cards in the dining area. Patrons were already eating before this weirdly timed announcement & I was getting ready to grab a seat as well. None were kicked out either they were all vaxxed according to said worker -______- although my food was correct and bussin I wouldn’t eat from this location again
The food was great. Fries were crispy. Drink was good.... BUT... the wait time at this place is always sooo long. I came here during COVID restrictions, with only 1 person in front of me and maybe 2 people waiting for their order... it still took about 20 minutes to get my food. INSANE. Further... the burger size is on the small size compared to most places. Burger king whopper is WAY bigger. And prices are way too high for what you get. But quality is good.
Nice setting and a decent amount of seating here. Only thing I dont like here is that since people come here with large groups, chairs are moved around a lot and no one is really putting them back. Waiting area is extremely small and right next to the water so hard to even be around that area.
I went to this establishment on Monday and ordered a shack burger with cheese fries and a drink…. There was NO ketchup for the fries, NO tomato for my burger or ketchup, NO ice for my drink, NO sugar in my lemonde and after speaking to the manager Anthony he was VERY rude stating that he does not eat his fries with ketchup. Please understand that the drink was room temperature and he had no concern or care about selling people this type of food. The service was less than satisfactory and Anthony really needs a class on professionalism. He also needs an iron because manager’s should look the part. I’ll be taking my money to Chick-fil-A. They ALWAYS offer exceptional service!
As of June 2021, this location seems to have catastrophic staffing issues. Maybe it was bad luck and everyone called in sick, but Im talking a full 20+ minutes without servicing ANY window customers, just the 3 staff frantically handling online & delivery orders while people waited in line with no movement until they left in disgust. If youre short staffed, thats fine, it happens, but just close up the window then so as not to mislead potential customers into wasting their time until they realize its not happening. I had no complaints with this location in the past.
The food is great like always but the costumer service is literally to rate one star. the girls are rude and talk to you with actitud , i understand the policies of covid but a pregnant girl ask to use the bathroom and they said not only because she didn’t have her vaccination card !
This Shake Shack located right inside the Fulton Ave subway station on the 2nd floor with a beautiful 180 degree of glass window looking out to Freedom Tower WTC, NYC!!! Plenty of seats and very comfortable to dine. A great place to rest and eat while visiting downtown NYC.
First off I ordered a shackburger with a 50/50 then they tell me they dont have ice so i got a bottle water instead. They call me up to get my food and then tell me they dont have regular water only sparkling which I dont like. I say fine then ask for ketchup and they dont even have that. Save your time and not go to this location or if you do bring your own ketchup and water.
One of the slowest Shake Shacks I’ve ever been to. The staff moved like they were walking through mud. From the cashier (who didn’t even know the menu) to the line cooks that were just kinda hanging out out back, there was no customer care. When I asked about the status of my order, they just mumbled not ready. And walked away, didn’t even check to see the time or how’s it coming.
Terrible service!!! Most of the staff was polite but failed to communicate with customers. My friends and I ordered chicken bites which is supposed to come with honey mustard sauce. As I checked my bag there was no sauce. I asked for the sauce and the staff proceeded to say that they were out of honey mustard and bbq. This is understandable however I would’ve liked to know BEFORE I spent my hard earned money that I wouldn’t be getting everything I paid for. SECONDLY, don’t waste your money on the special drinks. I ordered the Piña punch and it tasted like lemonade. There’s nothing special about them. And on top of that the juice had NO ICE. Lastly, the lady calling out names was disrespectful and was rude to customers. I highly DONT recommend coming to this shake shack
Great food hereSurprisingly they dont let people dine in after 8pm even though they stay open until 9pm.We walked a long walk to come here but much to my surprise the team said we cannot dine in after ordering. This needs to be taken care ofNo one should be refused to dine in during business hours.
We were assigned a standing table but my mother has heart problems and has difficulty standing due to swelling in her legs, and they wouldn’t let us switch to a seated table despite there being availability. I understand and respect covid restrictions, but this location does it extremely poorly. Would recommend going to a different shake shack. Staff were otherwise mostly warm and welcoming, which is why this review is 3 stars
Ok. After a week in NYC and hearing over and over how great this place was I decided to order something to check them out. Ordered a bacon cheese burger, some fries with the hot seasoning, a vanilla shake and a coke. I must say that everything was great. The order was ready when I made it there to pick it up. The packaging was perfect and nothing was spilled or out of place, the food was delicious and they gave me more ketchup than I could use (im addicted to Ketchup). My only regret is not having enough time to try everything on the menu.
Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Advertised mobile orders to speed us up. Checked my vaccine card since I was picking up to dine in. Told me to stand and they’d call my name when it was ready. Then told us we couldn’t dine in with a mobile order. And it took forever for them to prep.
From the moment you arrive in that place the stuff gives you an excellent feeling. Very hospitable stuff, it is a lovely restaurant to enjoy with buddies or with your date. Great food, qualified chief cook and stuff, competitive cost and nice service. Highly recommended.
Amazing burger! I had the classic cheese burger and it was heaven! The size was perfect, so that you can enjoy the burger and fries without actually having to throw out any. The chicken bite are must try here. I have never seen as thin covering on chicken as in shake shack. The staff was police and especially the gentleman who was cleaning tables was polite. Even when we offered to trash the containers he came forward and did it for us. Nice guy!
We Waited literally 10 minutes for someone to approach the register to take my order. So we had to stand of front on an empty register until someone who was capable of ringing the order. The runners couldn’t take my order because it “wasn’t their job” Finally a host had to take my order after she sat a party. Love you guys but you need a better system in this location
I remember reading comments on some video/article about how the fries are apparently supposed to be phenomenal. So when we were visiting the city for a few days and finally got to try this place, the fries just seemed like average crinkle fries with salt on them. But the burgers were decent at least and tasted hot, the veggies were also crisp and fresh cut. I also like the grilled chicken dog, which is not something most vendors would have...The only downside is they dont have any hot drinks, so we had to order something from Starbucks down the block. This location in particular might be hit or miss because its a tourist attraction, but I still recommend giving it a try regardless. I am glad I finally got to try it and would totally visit again if I do come back.
We ate these fabulous Shake Shack burgers sitting in the park in front of the Flatiron. The views were amazing, especially at sunset. Definitely, the best burgers we have tried in NY. Even if the place is crowded at certain hours, the service is fast. Well-made burgers at moderate price, but it worths tasting them considering their high quality! We really recommend Shake Shack...and well try their counterparts in Europe once we have the possibility!!
To their credit the food is good. But, the service is SLOW! Line was out the door, and there was one cashier working. Then we waited for a long time to get the food (supposed to be fast food). There were no ketchup cups, and only 2 napkin dispensers. I hope their management can figure it out, since the burgers are good.
Tastes amazing! Everything is amazing about this burger joint!!!!! The incredible staff were very nice and passionate. The food was just phenomenal. Im so satisfied with my visit. However I rated it only four stars because I feel like the burgers were too small and they should include meal deals instead of buying everything separately
I went to 2 different shake shacks this week. This one and the one at Cross County . This Shake Shack was fast, the coworkers were friendly and professional. They took their job seriously. the Shake Shack at Cross County however took 1 hour to before I got my TAKE OUT order. Soo many employees but neither cared to speed up the process. And still both locations did give me great food but I wont go to Cross County again.
One of the best Shake Shacks around the city. This place is massive and spacious compared to other Shake Shacks in NYC in which means that theres always a space to sit and enjoy your meal faster. 85% of the time the burgers and fries are very fresh and warm, the place is clean and easily accessible with many trains since it is located in the Fulton Center. One complaint from a frequent customer like me would definitely be the wait time. The lines are extremely long sometimes (even after you receive the order number) and it could easily be solved by operating just a little faster and helping tourists.
Surprisingly friendly staff for a busy location. They were also kind enough to allow me to sample one of the lemonades, the strawberry mint. Which, I would suggest that you get if you like lemonade. The food is as good as normal, and they got the orders correct. I also observed one of the workers keeping a good eye on keeping the counters clean. The dining room could be used a touch more attention, thus necessitating 1 * less all in all, Shake Shack makes a good burger.
Although the line was long when we went in, it moved really quick. After we ordered, we got our food in about 10 minutes. We had a burger, fries, and shake. They were all so delicious. The burger was thick and juicy. The fries were crunchy and not so salty. The shake was thick and very flavorful. In fact, I went there a second time, It was one of the best burger places ever!
Food is great but way overpriced. After spending almost $20 I’m still not full. Didn’t expect fast food to be this expensive.. and the service is terrible. I ordered my food and I stoped to let them type in my order, and that lady gave me a look and ask is that is? I reply yupp and she seemed very annoyed and tell me “then say that’s it” I WAS JUST WATING FOR YOU TO TYPE IT IN SMH
Definitely a great time overall. The food and value were priced well, and the wait was not as bad as I thought. Getting Shake Shack burgers was definitely a good lunch decision as the tasty burger and chill atmosphere helped to get me in the mode for work that afternoon. If you are in a rush, see if you can place an order on the app before heading out.
In a world of corporate diners and dive places, this place is a true family-owned gem. The owner is such an awesome dude, great customer service making this place even better. The dogs were great and the fries were awesome. The owner treats you like fam and it makes the environment much cooler, you need to come here!!!!
This is a pretty popping spot at the Fulton station. It is spacious and quite nice. Shake shack burgers, fries, and shakes are definitely one of the better fast food in both taste and quality. I work in the area and have been disappointed with this location on number of times. Their distribution system gets broken often and you may end up waiting for a long time because they dont call your number even when the food is ready. There was an instance when they ran out of burgers at 11 45 am before lunch time. Place gets quite congested 12pm to 2 pm as well. Good chain, but horrible location.
Decent burger. Decent service. Space is kept fairly clean. It is often very busy and chaotic. Not difficult to get lost in the fray. If your order is accidentally messed up, it can take a while to get things sorted out because of the frenetic atmosphere. Always have had a problem when I ha e ordered ice cream or shake.
Excellent hamburgers -- go for the single as the ratio of meat to bread is important. Shakes are out of this world, but dont eat too much if you intend on getting one. Staff were exceedingly concerned with my experience, which was a nice touch for NYC. Definitely recommend.
We arrived with 5 people. The manager refused to seat us as 5 people due to 4 person group limit. However we were fine with that and wanted to split in to a group of 2 and 3. They still denied our seating. Despite, our willingness to have less than 4 on a table. Would never come again. 1 out of 5 stars.
Nice burgers at a reasonably price! There is not the possibility to have the option menu, but you can easily order all you want. The price is a little bit higher than McDonalds, but the taste is sensibly better! Try the cheesy fries... wonderful! Also really good the chicken burger.
TLDR Expensive and burgers are small. Food is salty as hell. Long version: The food is made fresh to order. We had 2 burgers, 10 chicken bites, 1 soda, 3 milk shakes (Van, Choc and Straw) and bacon cheese fries for $50. I feel the $ value is on the expensive side, mainly due to the small burgers that cost $8 each just for the burger and no drink or fries. Food was tasty, hot and fresh, and the chicken was tender, breading was crunchy and flaky. Shakes, seriously they were nothing special at all. This location was busy and the staff was constantly cleaning and maintaining the eating area. Bathrooms were clean and you need a combination code to get in, this is to keep the bums away. Yes there were bums lurking all over the area. I personally feel Five Guys is far better than this franchise. Five guys you get a bigger burger and unlimited toppings. Was worth a try, however I have no plans to ever eat Shake Shack again as for me the value is not there.
Worth the long wait. On a Saturday, it can take 30 min to order and pick up the food during peak hours. Its worth the wait than ordering via the mobile app. The burger and fries come out hot and fresh. Good customer service. They are super patient with the order the process.
If I can I would give zero stars, We requested a dine in option, even though we had our temperatures checked and signed the paperwork they put us in the corner instead of sitting us and had to remind them we were dinning in we were prompt to wait in a corner, after 10mins standing while other that came before and after were being seated, we asked about our seats. Instead of apologizing and finding us our table the host and waiter decided to scold us.(we were just following their instructions) once our food got to our table, our hotdog came without a bun, our coke was Dr Pepper and a blast of cheese in the bacon cheese fries only. I know we are living in a different time and people are scared and anxious to not be comprised but customer service should never be comprised. Worst place customer service wise. You talk to the staff and you have to repeat yourself twice or more. Untrained and uneducated with the most basic skills like listening.
Shake shack is arguably my favorite burger Ive ever eaten, and that bang for your buck cant be beat. It may be a little pricier than your standard burger joint, but I assure its worth every penny. The classic shack burger cant be beat, but my personal personal favorite is the double smoke shack burger. This spot has a lot more seating than the other FiDi options, but naturally is also a lot busier of a location so you might wait a bit longer. You honestly cant go wrong with anything on the menu.
Visited here with my boyfriend on the 11/02/2020.Firstly though, the food is very good!! Really tasty! We’re from Glasgow, Scotland so it was our first time trying this.Next, there is a worker who was I presume the cleaner with Shake Shack, as she removed out tray etc. (didn’t manage to catch her name unfortunately) She has honestly made the experience much better. This women has not long moved to New York (she did mention two years ago) and is an absolute credit to your business. She is originally from London, England. Was very welcoming and kind.
3rd person in line and it takes 12 min to make my order of 1 burger. Received my order and it was completely wrong. Went up to get it fixed and waited behind many other angry customers only to be told it would be a while as they had several others waiting for their orders. In the end the burger was edible, so theres that. So much for fast food! Wont be going back there
Great burgers combined with a central and very convenient location makes for a winning combination. I used to work across the street from this location before it opened, so every time I had a craving for their burgers, fries and shakes, my only option was a long walk to their location near the old world financial center. By the time I got back to my desk, I would be either very cold or very sweaty. This location is situated right above a big transit hub. So its a really cool place to take in the view, have a good meal before taking the subway or a nice walk to the oculus and all the fancy shopping located downtown.
I had been to Shake Shack before in Vegas and didnt like it, as it was too greasy. This one was a little bit better in that regard, but in general no quality food. It was also too busy and we had to wait for a good while before our order was ready. The only thing I really liked here was the caricature picture on the wall at the very back of the restaurant.
The Burgers here are really good, but might be a bit pricey for some people. The employees are REALLY nice and I love it. Lots and lots of seating but dont let that fool you as the place is almost always packed to the brim with people eating and others making orders. Theres even someone who goes around the tables for quality assurance as well(I forgot her name but she was really polite.) Overall its a fantastic place for food and if you dont mind waiting around 5 minutes to order then give it a visit.
Very nice facility. Clean and good looking. The cashier was very kind and informative. He seemed to be very enthusiastic. The line was long but moved very quickly. It was nice to have a buzzer so we could go sit down and wait for the food. We didnt wait long so that was a plus. Cheese fries were great. Burger was cooked to perfection.

2022-05-21First time came to know no vegetarian options even with the shroom burger. All the patties are fried in the same oil as chicken/beef. One of the team members was SO generous to accommodate us with our strictly vegetarian options to avoid cross-contamination. Highly appreciated the generosity.Too crowdedYou have to clean your own tableToo smallNot enough vegetarian options

2022-03-27We went to this shake shack branch at 9pm and got out order in and we were just waiting for our food. We sat down at 9:06pm and one of the staff came up to us to leave when we get our order because he said they are closing soon. He then put a block to prevent other people from dining in.

2022-01-30The location is good the restaurant system also but in my opinion Shake Shack is overrated. All the burgers and the fries are pricey and they were not extraordinary tasty. We had better burger then those during our week of NYC.

2022-04-15First time to shake shack, and visiting this location. I am very unhappy with the experience. The staff is very cold and unhappy. A female employee was verbally fighting and insulting a male customer. When I received my food it was cold and the milkshakes were completely melted and the lemonade had no ice.

2022-06-05I ordered a shack burger which is just their cheeseburger and that was well cooked with a good ratio of salad and sauce. The star of the show in shake shack was most definitely their blood orange lemonade it wasnt bitter or too sweet just perfect and it was so refreshing for a hot day. I feel like Id definitely go in there just for one of these!

2022-05-16Only giving more than one star because the food was great, but the service was downright awful. From arriving when there was a small line (10-15 people) to receiving our food took over 50 minutes. They only had one person working the till in a location in the centre of downtown NYC, which seems like a bit of an oversight. By the time we left the line was ~5x the size which given the speed of the kitchen and service means some people likely would have had to wait hours. This was also my first time trying shake shack so while the food was good, I’m really disappointed with the customer service.

2022-04-13This was a wonderful experience. The staff was wonderful. I didnt catch the name of the woman keeping track of everything, but she was so kind settling my father-in-law into a seat while we ordered our lunch. You will definitely enjoy your experience.

2022-04-03Chicken shack was just larger than a ketchup packet. Disappointed considering the price and the 20min+ wait time. It was surprising that someone thought this was okay

2021-06-18I cannot say ENOUGH about the GM here Jose B. and his assistant GM Freddy L. They were a DREAM to work with. I wanted Shake Shack as part of my catering for my baby shower bc I’ve been craving burgers throughout and Jose made it a breeze!!! I was worried about tons of stuff for the shower and to not have to worry about my order or the quality of food coming was such a relief. It was PERFECTLY EXECUTED. Jose and Freddy were both such a delight to talk to and work with. They threw in some surprises for me and WOW, I TRULY cannot thank them enough. My guests were loving the food (everything got demolished) and I think I had about 3 milkshakes that day! Thank you thank you for being a part of my celebration. Would not hesitate to eat here/ work with this team again.
