Very nice park. Something for everyone in the family. Pavilion, play ground area and equipment, fenced skate board area, many paved trails, building, handicap accessibility parking and activities. Multiple pokey stops and gyms though out the park. Clean quite, family oriented. Very enjoyable!
Very nice place to take the kids to play pokemon go and hit the playground at the same time. Also good fishing and a skate park too.
Hidden gem in Hornell, NY. Nice walking/biking path around the pond with picnic pavilions and (outdated) playground equipment for the kids.
Beautiful place first thing in the morning. Great place to fish, picnic, skate, bike, play horseshoes, walk, let the kids play on the playground. Nice place.
Except for the goose poop, its a great little walk.
Pretty decent skatepark, especially for the area. The ground is very smooth without any noticeable cracks when riding. Some of the ramps could use some retouching as the surface is deteriorated. Theres also a giant empty spot for flatground tricks which is cool.
A clean safe park with a half mile walk around the pond. Free wifi in certain areas. There are seating areas around the pond. Its a great place to relax, exercise or read a book .
Its so beautiful there! What a difference from the mess it used to be! Skateboard part is my favorite of course. Makes it worth the long haul to get there! The whole park is always well maintained and when kids go fishing, theyre almost guaranteed to catch several! Its great!
Its a quite place to let the kids get some energy out they have pavilions and bbqs grills to make a nice birthday surprise. They have horse shoe pits as well

The kids had fun but some of the ramps are in dire need of repair. It was a good way for the kids to burn energy.
Nice serene place - good balance of playgrounds for young kids, a skatepark for kids and teens, a dock for fishing, picnic huts with grills, vast green spaces, and a great trail for walking or jogging.
Excellent venue for family and community events. Great walking/ running trail. Picnic areas, pretty pond, playground, and horse shoe pits.
Great spot beautiful at sunset went here on a trip and loved every minute of it great bull head fishing spot too

Its one of my familys favorite parts theres this wonderful bike / walking pass which is great for when you have kids just learning theres two playgrounds geese a pond

We enjoyed the pavilion as a lunch stop during a road trip.
Covid hasnt affected a thing here. There was a huge party going on! The skate park is pretty cool!

2022-05-01Lovely park with playgrounds, a small pond for fishing, a larger number of horseshoe pits. The park also had a great rail trail that starts in it and goes on for two or three miles, and it is a spur off of the Finger Lakes Trail. If youre looking to do a section of the trail in Hornell but dont want to be walking in from down by the Walmart this is a great choice to connect you up to the FLT.

2021-05-31Nice little park, tucked back behind businesses. There are no ball fields but there is plenty of other options like play ground, skateboard park, deck that over looks the pond and a walking trail around the pond and parallel to the train tracks. Three are also picnic tables and grills at the few pavilions at the park.. Never crowded and even when there are a lot of people its still quite easy to have your own space.

2022-06-22You cannot go anywhere near the pond without stepping in duck droppings its everywhere and nobody does anything about it. It used to be a nice park.

2022-01-01A beautiful half-mile paved walking trail loops around a natural pond. Four party pavilions w/ charcoal grills (reserve in advance). Great fishing on the dock or shoreside. Fenced toddler play area, playground area, and connected skate park keep kids of all ages entertained. Large greenspace for kites or soccer games. Basic soft/baseball diamond (grass) with new dugouts. Championship Horseshoe pits.Known for a steady breeze, makes it great on those hot summer days. For better or worse, the geese love it too, making for interesting encounters around dusk as they waddle around the path. A gem orphaned at the end of extended Thacher Street -- worth the extra mile!! 🌳🍁🐸🎣🚴🚶🥳🧲

2019-08-21Its a really nice park. Theres a playground for kids to play, a place for horseshoes, a big field to play in, a small skate park, and a deck for fishing. Theres lots to do at the park

2022-06-29Very nice place!! I like the walking path around the pond!! 😊👍 couple nice views!! And theres also a VERY LONG path that goes almost into arkport!! Try it!! Its a good workout!
