2022-04-03Ive consulted with many home inspectors in the Hudson Valley area and by far! This home inspection company offers the most value. They performed all the services we needed to rest assure we has everything covered. They performed a chimney inspection, pool inspection, septic inspection, asbestos testing and sewer scope inspection.Additionally as stated in previous reviews these guys have the experiance. Ive worked with other multi inspector firms and the new inspectors were not knowledgeable but they were licensed. This company has home inspectors who actually have a construction background which is a HUGE plus.GREAT TEAM!

2022-03-06I’d never hire another home inspector kegerator than shield guard home inspections. These guys are the absolute best! They advised us on mold asbestos chimney pools and every other aspect of the home. I’ve used other inspectors in Hudson and we didn’t get nearly as much information. The owner was a former building inspector and the other guys who work for them are so intelligent! Thanks Adam Ken and Josh!

2022-04-03Shield guard performed a home inspection, chimney, pool, sewer scope, septic and pest. The inspection was thorough and report was so clear! Their construction background really came in clutch. They were priced right in the middle but their service has been the best we experienced

2022-04-02If you are looking for a local home inspector in hudson ny search no further. I’ve hired many home inspectors and consulted with over 20. A real good home inspector will have code knowledge AND general home inspection experience. 2x i’ve consulted with shield guard home inspections and both home inspectors had construction and code knowledge. We didn’t need a home inspector to tell us the obvious defects during our home inspection. We needed a home inspection company that specializes in many services such as shield guard AND consult us on potential construction flaws. these guys are awesome to say the least. they perform chimney inspections, septic inspections, mold, sewer scopes and pool inspection. These are the services i consulted with them on. FANTASTIC CUSTOMER service. I was skeptical to hire them initially I thought they had 4-5 years experience. Come to find out the owner ran the building department in upstate new york and their home inspectors owned construction companies and flipped properties. Their experience gave us the insite we needed. Their knowledge should be priced up there with architects and engineers as you get a lot ofinfo during the home inspection.
