Atlantic Coast Auto has our highest recommendation for anyone who is planning to ship their vehicle, as we did, for our stay in Florida. No brokers. Their own fleet and drivers pick up and delivered our Honda, as scheduled, and promised. It is almost heartwarming to know that an organization so well run, courteous, helpful, and pleasant to the nth degree, exists. All this with a very reasonable and competitive price for the service. Let me begin by saying that Atlantic coast transportation in kings park N.Y. is what all companies should aspire to be! I had moved to Florida back in December and used Atlantic coast to transport my car. Their professionalism and rates was best by far! So when it was time for me to come back to N.Y. to help my elderly mother and uncle and their dog move to Florida it was an obvious choice to have Atlantic coast transport my mother’s car. Unfortunately the pandemic happened and the world shut down. When we were finally able to book flights to Florida the airlines would not except their beloved dog. After months of isolation, frustration and stress.. I was left feeling depleted! I called Atlantic coast in hopes that they would know of someone that would be willing to drive three adults and a dog to Florida? Within an hour the owners son, Joe called back with the best solution...Joe offered to drive my mothers car and their dog down to Florida while we flew so that we would not be uncomfortable driving for long hours. It is not something their company has ever done before but given the circumstances they didn’t hesitate to go above and beyond to help their client.I will forever be grateful for their kindness! I have shipped two cars with them in the last year. Not only are their prices incredible. I was informed about the whole trip. Both vehicles came from NY with a Ft Lauderdale destination. Both came within 2 days of being picked up. Thats 2 days earlier then they quoted me for. Imagine my surprise when the driver called a couple days before I was expecting my vehicle and said Im in town, are you around so I can deliver your vehicle. 100% completely satisfied and hope you get to experience the same service I have had.

I am in the middle of a cross country move and worked with Frank Jr. in the shipping of the first of two of my cars. He was precise, diligent, thorough, and friendly. He kept all promises he made and I got a good price for the move. My kids even got cupcakes when they visited the office with me!I know of no better endorsement than to tell you i will definitely be using Atlantic Coast Auto when it comes time to move my second car (and complete my move to California) next month.
After having a very bad experience with a few brokers trying to get my car down to Georgia I dealt with Joe & Jessie at Atlantic. It was really last minute and they were so helpful and honest . It was refreshing to speak with people that were not trying to rip me off . My car was shipped and got to Georgia on time , the driver was in touch with my person in Georgia along the way. I will definitely recommend them in the future and once again thank them for all they did !!!!
I must say that working with Frank jr and the other gentleman was a great experience. My daughter came home from abroad. We had 10 days to get car, herself and a apartment to Chicago! Frank was up front with the coast, no hidden agenda. My daughter packed her car , and we delivered it to Atlantic ourselves. The paper work was simple , the company was friendly,and to top it off, my daughter left yesterday morning and had her car delivered that night! Thanks so very much for keeping this mom worry free! I had never shipped a car this way before. Atlantic came highly recommended and now I can understand why. The service was great and the car arrived ahead of the promised time and in perfect condition. Add to that the lowest estimate I received and you get 5 stars.
Been Using Atlantic coast for all my auto transport needs, they are the most reliable and experienced transport company I have done business with. They are Family owned and easy to deal with. I found their rates to be very competitive with other transport companies. Never had a vehicle damaged. With just a phone call they can give me up to minute updates on my vehicles location. I would highly recommend Atlantic coast.
My daughter went to Texas on a temporary job, fell in love and stayed. We had to ship her the car. Dan at Atlantic Coast Auto Transporters made it easy. I had called 10 places and most of them contract out their shipping. I knew my car carriers driver name, I knew the time frame it would get there. I got email updates every night as to where the driver landed. My daughters car got there safely and on time. Great experience!

First time I used this company to transport my car to southeast Florida. Exceeded all expectations. Called me everyday and kept me informed of progress. Car left on Sunday and arrived on Tuesday. Very pleasant experience with the company. John gave me a reasonable quote and Jesse was able to address any concerns. Shipped my vehicle within the expected delivery range with no damage. They won’t be the most competitive option when it comes to pricing. Because they don’t reduce their cost by hiring inexperienced drivers or operating with unsafe vehicles just to attract more business. Your car deserves better protection from a professional transportation service working for client’s best interest. Affordable pricing, efficient protocol and excellent follow up service.
Frank was very straight forward and up front to deal with. Friend of mine has used Atlantic for years and very pleased with service. Communication was very good and response time excellent. Car was picked up in Texas and delivered to Delaware with minimum fuss and in time promised.
Atlantic Coast Car Transport is a pleasure to deal with, the office staff if courteous and the services are fast and reliable. I have used their services for the past three years and have always had my car delivered safely and on time. In the past I have had two very bad experiences with other carriers canceling pickups at the last moment leaving me in a bind trying to find a last minute transport.
I was referred to this company by a friend who shipped their cars from Ft. Myers, FL to Long Island, NY. I have used other carriers in the past shipping cars from Ft. Myers to Cape Cod. I was a bit nervous about trying a new company, but my experience was top rate. In Ft. Myers, I dropped the car at the Brady Auto Terminal, where Atlantic Coast Auto Transporters picked it up and transported it up to Long Island at their own terminal. Everyone I spoke with was very professional and HONEST about everything. The car (actually an FJ Cruiser) came through with flying colors. I will definitely use them again and will recommend them to my friends (in fact, I have recommended them to two friends already).
Kudos to Atlantic Coast for a perfect experience taking my Camry from Westchester NY to West Palm Beach. Price was fair. Pick up happened when promised, delivery in FL came a day early, with the car in same condition as when they got it. Email messages tracked progress en route so I knew what was going on. This is a model for how auto transport businesses should operate (but often dont). Based on this, Id unhesitatingly recommend to friends. Ask for Frank Mirando Jr. to get great care.
We contacted Atlantic Coast Auto Transport for help when our other transport agent failed to find a driver and time was running out. After listening to our ordeal, Jesse and Frank made some arrangements and asked us to drop our cars off the next day. A week later, our cars were delivered near our new home in California. My father posted a review and I wish to elaborate. I recently had my car delivered from Long Island NY to Orlando FL, which was delayed by 3-4 days. I dropped off my car Fri (8/24) and was told it would be delivered Weds or Thurs because the truck would be coming to pick my car up that weekend. The facilities appeared very clean and everyone seemed very professional. They showed me the type of truck my car would be on and seemed very thorough. I felt confident trusting in this company, as it was recommended to me by my moving company, Liberty. They praised Atlantic as a local and family-ran business, which convinced me to choose them over other car transport companies. Atlantic was the most expensive out of other renowned companies I received quotes from, but I decided to go off of Libertys recommendation.When Wednesday and Thursday came around I received no communication about my car, until later in the day, when I got a tracking email saying my car was just picked up. I was very confused. Come Friday or Saturday we received a call from the truck driver saying the truck broke down on the way to Long Island and again on the way down to Florida. My car ended up being delivered on late Sunday night, about 4 days late. I decided to call Atlantic to see if I could receive some sort of a partial refund and wanted to know how they might rectify the situation.The man I spoke with was so condescending I couldnt believe it. I didnt receive one genuine apology. Instead, he went on about how they are a small business and had to pay tons of money to repair their truck and they cannot afford to give any refunds. He further explained that even when delays happen with airlines that is life and they dont even issue refunds. This isnt true, as Ive experienced plenty of delays in the past with compensation.Let me make this clear-- my issue was NOT with the fact that my car was delayed and that I couldnt receive compensation. I understand things happen and this was a difficult and expensive situation for everyone. My problem was the lack of communication for me to prepare for not having a car for 4 days, and also, the condescending and rude attitude of the man on the phone. When the truck didnt show up over the weekend as expected, I dont see why I didnt receive a call that there might be a delay. If the man I spoke to had given me one genuine apology and was simply kind to me, that would have completely resolved the situation. He made me feel like I was a privileged millennial expecting immediate gratification and like I knew nothing about commercial trucking and the reality of the business world. Is it too much for a customer to expect a company to deliver on their promised services?He told me he could not help me with a partial refund but he would mark my account so if I ever chose to ship with them again, theyd see if they could cut me a deal of some sort. This promise is just going by his word, and there is no guarantee I would use their service again and I have no proof that he would honor such a statement. He also said hed speak to everyone about the importance of communicating ahead of time and agreed with me on that part, but he seemed skeptical to believe that I didnt receive a call about it in the first place. Of course, he couldnt end the conversation without the usage of the word sweetheart. It was said in a rude manner like I was a child, and Ive never been so insulted in my entire life. Im 25 years old and I worked hard to save my money for this move. My family and I will be in close contact with Liberty about this.Lastly, there is a clause in the contract that addresses credit card disputes-- so be warned. It states to go by terms of the contract to settle any disputes and to not seek a charge back/stop any checks. I will honor the contract and the fact that my car did still get to me without any damage.
Great company. Frank super easy to work with.. best price and was price was firm. Turned out my request required extra effort so Frank figured out how to make it happen AND at same price. Driver was nice, friendly and a delight. Wont have any reason to need their help in the future but if I did, I would ask Atlantic Coast Auto Transport to handle them all..... Paula
The auto shipment industry can be shady, but I was referred to this company by my uncle (who previously used it) so I knew it would be safe. These guys have very attentive customer service and performed exactly as they said they would, and Im truly grateful for it! Jessie is especially a stand-up guy, thanks to everyone for shipping my car cross-country!
We have an automobile dealership in Southeastern CT and ship cars in from all over the East Coast. Most are luxury imports and sports cars. These guys are pros. They have shipped dozens of cars for us without incident. The cars arrive quickly and they communicate well. I would highly recommend them.
My daughter just used this company to ship her car from NY to Orlando Fl. We went to their brick and mortar store and told us they get new trucks every 3 years and how they maintain their fleet, well her car was late being picked up and then again late being delivered because their truck broke down TWICE !! Once on the way to pick it up and then again on the way down. She called to see what could be done and the answer she got was, well were a small company, we do you want us to do? On top of this when she spoke to a representative he continually was calling her Sweetheart , in todays hypersensitivity , very unprofessional.
I guess if they transport your vehicle uneventfully you’ll be fine. But if there’s a problem just know their insurance company is disgustingly uncooperative. They transported our classic vehicle and damaged it while unloading it. We should’ve known what we were in for when the manager begged us to not call the police for a report. This was only the beginning our current ordeal. Their insurance company claimed to be Lloyd’s of London but it’s not. We are reviewing that insurance. Implant separately. So basically , while your chances of having your vehicle damaged by any auto transport company are small, this company will not do the right thing if they do.
Delivered in every way possible and more! I have had many negative experiences with transport companies in the past but Atlantic was on time and communicated with us every step of the way. Excellent experience with Atlantic. We have had the same driver two years in a row and in each case he had the car washed at the time he had it delivered at no extra cost. Good service. Very reliable.
Third year in a row did round trip from kings park to west palm fantastic service. Best way to get car and luggage to Florida for a Three months stay. Will do in 2019 again. Much better than driving down or driving a rental. Trust me, this how to do it.

Very easy to work with. I was kept up to date as to the status of the delivery.A little more expensive then some of the car brokers who call you every day, but much less hassle, especially when you have other things to worry about.

If I could of given a negative I would have, Im a very easy to work with person, I dont really like giving bad rating for people, but Atlantic coast auto deserves it, the manager never let you talk, always yelling then claims that he wasnt yelling, we explain to him that a damage can not be done on the bottom of the vehicle on a flatbed and that our company is not responsible on the underneath of the car, but keeps calling and threaten the company, they always lie, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ATLANTIC COAST AUTO TRANSPORT TO ANY ONE, BE AWARE, THEY GIVE YOU DAMAGED VEHICLES AND THEN TRIED TO MAKE YOU PAY FOR THE DAMAGES THAT WERE ALREADY ON THE CAR, DO NOT WORK WITH THEM, IN MY 15 YEARS OF BUSINESS THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER FACED SUCK A BAD COMPANY!!!!!

2020-12-10GREAT SERVICE!! The pick up and delivery went so smoothly.The pick up and drop off drivers were wonderful and kept in touch with my husband and I. If I could give them more stars I would. My car arrived perfectly at a delivery point that was less than a mile from my home. My car and I are south for the winter. So much better than driving 800 miles. Also, I have to mention how helpful and friendly the guys in the office were. Would definitely use their service again and recommend them to others.

2021-05-28Never had to use an auto transport company before so i went with a broker a friend recommended and it was Road Runner what an awful experience. After a month of not hearing from RR, I Googled Auto Transport Companies in my area and Atlantic Coast Auto Transport.came up and believe or not they were located about a half mile from my house. I needed to get my sons car out to Arizona quickly and I spoke with Dan he gave me the price and we spoke at length about the process. I dropped the car off at there Kings Park location , the owner was outside doing an inspection of the vehicle. He explained the difference of owning trucks and using a broker who does not have trucks. Anyway my sons car was gone two days later and in Phoenix AZ within a week of me dropping the car off. I was in contact with Jesse and in with Dan the while time. They were all absolutely great to me and did exactly what i needed. Next time i need a car carrier i am using Atlantic Coast Auto Transport

2019-02-05Great experience. I had my Tesla shipped from Central NJ to Palm Beach FL. The company was very communicative and answered all my questions. Rex the driver called me prior to picking up the car and alerted me to get ready for the pick up. He informed me that the car would arrive Tuesday or Wednesday. On Monday I called him for a progress report and was told the car would arrive at 2:00 pm on Tuesday. In fact he called me at 1:30 pm told me he was a half hour away. The car was delivered in excellent condition and on time. I would highly recommend Atlantic Coast Auto Transport.

Knowledgeable, responsive, good price, and a pleasure to deal with.Context: We were in an accident while on a trip and had to leave our family van in another city to be repaired. We had no previous experience with car transport services.I called the number on their website and got a person (Jesse) almost immediately. Jesse explained the process and was able to quickly address all of the various questions and concerns I had.The price was in the middle and towards the cheaper side of the comparison pricing that I had found earlier.Jesse was able to get a pickup scheduled quickly. And then...when it turned out our van wasnt really ready at the repair shop, Jesse kept me from freaking out too much and got things rescheduled. And this happened not just once, but twice.Throughout the process, Jesse kept me informed.When it finally came time for our van to come home, everything around the transport went pretty smoothly -- the driver ran a little behind the evening he was to pick up the van but was still able to pick it up the following morning.Our accident and the repairs were a long and frustrating ordeal, but Jesse and Atlantic Coast Auto were a consistent bright point. It was a pleasure to deal with them, and I would absolutely recommend them for your auto transport needs.

2020-10-06I had a car shipped from Hamptons to DC. Dealer recommended Atlantic Coast Auto and it was everything you want. Fast. Safe. Reasonably priced, and most importantly experienced staff and drivers. Car arrived in perfect shape. Especially useful is ability to talk to driver to arrange a big rig friendly location as DC is not very truck/trailer friendly. A+ company.Dave L

2018-10-30This is the first time I used Atlantic Coast Transport to ship my Audi from Tenafly NJ to West Palm Beach Florida. I couldnt have been more pleased:Their equipment was first class and that was important to me because the company I used to ship my car to NJ from Florida had shown up with a very old, badly rusting truck with a flat tire.The driver, Rex, was extremely communicative and friendly. He kept me updated throughout his trip as to where he was and exactly when he would arrive. He was clearly very experienced and adept.Frank and Joe at the office were very accessible, informative, and reliable. Next time I ship my car, I will definitely use Atlantic Coast Transport again.
