The staff here is always super friendly and helpful! One of the delivery men, Will, who happened to be in the store helped me with a large package when he didn’t have to and it was much appreciated! It’s nice to know that people still extend random acts of kindness :)
I would give this zero stars if I could. I paid to Uber here to do an Amazon return. They were only allowing one single person at a time. ONLY ONE PERSON. Everyone else had to wait outside like dogs. I waited for an hour to get up to an extremely rude customer service employee that just said sorry our internet’s down we can’t accept Amazon returns right now and just shrugged his shoulders.
Unlike virtually any other UPS or FedEx store, this one is a real gem. I originally used the store when I was in from out of town and needed a host of services: scanning, emailing, shipping, and notarizing. This one just randomly happened to be the closest to where I was. How lucky I was.All of the employees there were super nice, very helpful, and quite knowledgeable. They did not act stressed or short with me or any other of the patrons (unlike so many other similar place) and the whole place just felt chill. They were quick with all my services.For the reason alone (the customer service), I decided to purchase a UPS mailbox there upon moving to the city. As such Ive had frequent interactions with everyone on the staff (and even the owner, Osama, who lets just say above and beyond). They are always quick with my packages and never annoyed that I tend to receive a fair number of packages there. ProTip: also just a great service to have in New York.Dont let the size of this UPS store fool you: it is small but mighty. And every single staffer excels at the two things most people care about at UPS Stores: service and efficiency.
This store is fantastic!I had to ship a very expensive (les paul) guitar + hard case across the country.I called around various UPS stores in Manhattan and many times go no answers and/or was put on endless hold. FYI, UPS stores are not owned or operated by UPS (the company) - they are independently franchised and UPS (the company) doesnt accept any liability/responsibilty if things go awry.At this particular store, Eric answered the phone promptly and explained in detail what both the shipping and packaging would be like. So, I went out of my way to visit this store and Im so glad I did. Eric spent over 40 minutes (!!!) bubble wrapping, custom boxing, wrapping again and then double boxing this guitar, so well and so perfectly, it became a work of art. Ive attached some in-progress pics.Kudos to Eric and the service in this store. There were customers coming in all during this but they really dedicated their time in making sure this was done absolutely right. The store was super clean and well laid out - in all, am a really happy customer. For anything fragile or expensive, this is now my go to store in Manhattan.
Eric and Dalia have been working their tails off during this pandemic. Whenever I go in the store they are so beyond helpful and always have a smile on their faces even under the current circumstances and crazy influx of people. They also follow safety protocols to the T which always makes me feel better when needing to use their services. THANK YOU GUYS FOR ALL OF YOUR HARD WORK! MUCH APPRECIATED!
I walked in here one sunny day.I needed to send a package next day, and customer service was great! An employee by the name Matt was awesome. He really helped me out in everyway. Giving me all the options to send it next day. Really nice guy. If youre in the neighborhood need to send something with UPS. Stop by this location. Youll know why I gave it five stars!!!! :)
Excellent service! Person working up front was with a customer, and I was next. Person working in the back noticed one customer was waiting and came up to help me. I was so surprised because Im used to various small stores where people in the back ignore whats going on up front. Packing service was great, quick and very friendly.
The older man who works here was rude and unhelpful. He gave one word answers to my questions and didn’t seem to want my business.I had to print a shipping label for my package and they charged me $1.50 to SEND AN EMAIL to the office and another $0.50 to print out my label, in addition to the cost of shipping! The store clerk could easily have scanned the barcode and printed for me (as other UPS stores have done) but instead he decided to nickel and dime me. Well they have lost my business.Go to Fedex instead. Or another UPS store if you must. AVOID THIS STORE!EDIT: I see you’ve responded. Yes, I did mean your store. I will not remove my review. It was not based off of a single experience but multiple over weeks of going here.
They have really been improving the store in the last couple of months it was a little drastic about a year ago, but now they really putting in work . And starting to be vary organized and well mannered store now there prices compared to other ups store are a lot more cost sufficient and affordable. also they are vary polite nice people when you come into the door very welcoming and delighfule also they care to your needs if you dont have enough money for the payment also gives vary great discounts and free things sometimes. Also there mail box services are superb as they always giving away free months to new customers and existing ones for being loyal to them. I will always recommend this star for anyone who would like to go there for the first time
Came by at a busy time of 6pm so I did have to wait, understandably. But I was looking for notary services, which the employee said they were not offering. Please update your services accordingly, as waiting for 20min to be told I needed to go to another location was frustrating.
Hilarious. Closed when I got there.No notary. Just one dude eating a pizza at 3:30 on a Monday.RE: I think there is a confusion from owner.There is no confusion and apparently very little ownership. I missed the opportunity to take a photo of Mr. Pizza Eater as he walked away when he heard me knock on the door.Admission: I do see that google says I posted this a month ago, when I posted this 3 years ago. So dont take it out on your current staff.Im not mistaken, the point of my review is to keep accountability alive. Wish this post went live when I tried to post it. I also wish that I didnt waste my time walking to your store.
Tried to rip me off today! I had just shipped the exact same box size to the same address and it weighed less two days prior at a different ups store. that store wasnt open on Sundays so I came here. this store quoted me double what the previous store charged. I walked my package to fed ex and shipped it for half the price.. or exactly what the other ups store charges. avoid this scam of a store!
I cannot recommend this 353 3 ave location highly enough. ive been coming to the store for many years because Im such a faithful and loyal customer and i really enjoyed their services especially the customer service from Matthew and Naser who currently works inside the store. also ive run into the store owner a few times and i witnessed his great attention to customer service and leadership skills to enable customers to feel completely satisfied. This is far superior to any other ups or fedex store.
THIEFS!!!! STAY AWAY!!!! Brought them 2 T-Mobile Cell phones in the pre-paid box and label from T-Mobile and they never shipped them. They stoled them! These guys are crooks. Stay away, Stay away, Stay away! Store should be closed. Its not over, they are Criminals and will be found guilty! Everybody beware this is a franchise store run by criminals who forget, lose and STEAL your packages! Walk a few more blocks to a legitimate UPS store and always get a receipt when you drop off pre-paid packages.

2022-04-07Store was not open when posted hours say otherwise. Wasted my time getting there. Go to the one on 2nd Ave instead. Worker there very efficient and nice.Edit: this is in response to the owner’s reply - “The store opened and you left by the time the associate was opening the door.”The store’s opening hour is 9am on a weekday. I was there at 9:25am and it was dark inside. By blaming me and lying that there was an associate at the door is the poorest defense. Clearly others reviewers have had the same frustrations. Fix your own problems before making excuses on your customers.

She sets great standards for customer service and always greets the customers with a bright smile!Made several Amazon returns over the years, the staff here is quick and efficient. Thank you for helping me make photocopies as well.This UPS has printing and notary options both. You can take your thumb drive and get black and white or color photocopies here. Charges vary depending on print size and color scale. This place gets crowded quickly hence, it’s better to organize everything before visiting the store. That’ll help you get your job done and you’ll be out of the store in no time.Notary services are also available here, I recommend calling and confirming beforehand. Charges of getting notary sign and the circular stamp are different, so please ask and confirm. I paid $5 for a fully notarized document.

2019-12-27Every time Ive gone to this UPS Store, Ive had a really positive experience. The owner and the people who are working for him are very friendly and helpful, and competent. I had a bunch of presents I needed to ship for the holidays and they wrapped them perfectly and helped ensure that my packages arrived in time. Every time I need to get something shipped, I come here.

2021-04-13I have always appreciated this place, which feels like community since it’s often the sam crew and they always take good care of you. Never had a package lost and they don’t give you attitude what’s you come in with 800 amazon returns. But today I had a shipment going to Germany and a Mr. Osama really went out of his way to help me figure out the best way to do it. He is an angel and now I really love them!
