I use to love this store before it became a UPS back in January. I dont need to mail letters often and was shocked yesterday when informed that the UPS store doesnt accept USPS out going mail. The person in the front told me that they only accept UPS items. When they were Greenwich village mail center they accepted everything. According to the UPS website they should accept USPS mail , and offer most UPS services. The gentleman at the front was helpful and did tell me that there is a USPS mail box across the street. However, your website says you accept USPS and you dont it is confusing. Ive had a mailbox here for years and it might be time to find a new location that offers all the services that were provided when I opened my box back when it was Greenwich village mail center. I dont know just a little frustrating. Clearly not the one stop shop as claimed to be according to the UPS website.
Lazy and unhelpful staff wouldn’t process my Amazon return
I swear they try to make this the most miserable experience possible. It’s a million degrees in here on a 50 degree day, there is always one person working with the worst attitude and the line is so long. Truly a 0/10 experience every time
I know how it is when customers walk in last minute. I try not to be that person. But it is what it is and you close when you close. If I rush from work to make it there the least you can do is not have an attitude as if Im making you work over time for my transaction. It literally took 4 minutes. Lose the attitude.
Keda was very helpful! He was kind, patient, and informative while helping me print, copy, and fax documents. Keda was also thorough with cleaning and disinfecting the entire store to prevent anything COVID related. Keda made my visit to the UPS Store worthwhile and stress-free.
That is the worst service Ive ever had through UPS. I came yesterday but could not finish the process because of a phone number as the box was going to Paris. The B... did not even want to start because she supposed after hearing the price of sending it, I wouldnt ship it. I left because of missing phone number and on my way forgot the piece of paper with the address on it with her. I called her to say I would come back to hold the paper for me, which she agreed.Today, I came. Waited in a foreeeever line 🙄 (Its almost Christmas). Arrived in front of her, she left to go to the bathroom (only her serving) and for forever. When she came back, she took her time to nicely robbing cream on each fingers then to tell me: Oh the paper when I left some other evening worker might have thrown it!! Seriously! I said, and you waited until then to say that to me after I called to hold it!!! She lifted her eyes and said NEXT. I am so unhappy of the treatment!
CoVid-Dangerous Store - AVOIDThis newly-opened store ignores all CoVid precautions. Its service area was crowded with 6 people in an area that was about 8 X 8. The store is dangerous.I happily used this UPS store for years, when it was located across the street (former location 480 6th Ave.). During the CoVid pandemic, this UPS store -- at its former location -- observed a strict 2-customers-inside maximum. The rules were posted on a sign outside, and followed by all customers.These rules have been abandoned at the new 511 6th Ave. location. On 1/6/2021, there was no sign posting a customer maximum. When I arrived, four people were waiting inside on line, while two clerks served two customers at the desk. Thats 8 people inside a small storefront.It became worse, when it was my turn to be served. The store is now configured so that its rented mailboxes are about 8 feet from the service desk. The clerks allowed 2 - 3 people to use the mail boxes, so that there were at least 6 people in an indoor area of about 8 X 8. (2 clerks at desk; 2 customers at desk, 2 or 3 at mailboxes). In addition, the clerks let 4 additional people wait indoors, on line. Thats a total of 10 or 11 people inside the small store.Stay away from this location. It has abandoned all its former safety precautions. It has placed its mailboxes close to its service desk. Its service desk routinely has 4 people in close proximity. The store is dangerous.The staff are efficient, polite, terrific. It is they who are most at risk by the laxity of management.
A super helpful, friendly and efficient team here. Really impressed by the service they provided and the assistance they gave as I had to get stuff notarized, shipped and packed.
Ive worked with a quite a few UPS Stores for art & furniture deliveries and have always been very impressed. However, I was very disappointed with UPS Store #6341 after arranging a pick-up and delivery.1) I was invoiced in early December, and the package was not picked up until - after I inquired - the end of January.2) Two weeks later: The package had not arrived. I received an apology because it was sent to the wrong address and was told that the matter was being looked into.3) A month later, after 2 emails and a phone call from me, they offered to file a claim with UPS.These details were only provided to me after I asked: I was told that the error was my fault because I gave them the wrong address in my first email in December. I point out that they had the correct address on file, and it was used in all of their subsequent correspondence with me and included it on the invoice.It was recommended that I go to the incorrect address and attempt to reclaim the package myself.4) I proceed to conduct my own investigation, but check on the status of the claim a week later. I am told that they cannot file a claim because it has been too long since the package was delivered.I was then told There isnt anything else we can do to further assist in this shipment.
I initially came in and spoke to someone about having an image blown up on a poster. She was very nice and helpful. I gave her my cell and she called when it was completed. I came in about 3 weeks later and they told me they had discarded the poster. I hadn’t paid for it, but they never informed me there was a pick up deadline and that they would discard if not picked up by a certain time. The same woman I spoke to could care less when I came in again, taking no responsibility or apologizing for wasting my time. UPS lost the most time and money by making and then discarding the poster I would’ve paid for. Not going back.
Keda was great and went over and above to help me
Went to this new UPS location to ship a very expensive item. They handled the item like it was their own and went through all the different options available. The service was excellent and i will be using this store again as opposed to my normal store. Package was delivered the day they said and the recipient commented to me on how well the item was packaged. Couldnt fault the store, the staff or the service.
This store just opened and i was so happy to learn about it!The staff is super friendly, and they do everything from shipping packages to passport photos to notary!I shipped a box there and like i said the friendliest staff. I am sure i will be using this new store often!Welcome to the neighborhood!!!!!
If i could give 0 starts i would. This UPS store has no idea what its doing. I would look for another alternative for your shipping needs. What astonishes me is that Roland Auction gallery actually refers them. If you do not want a headache simply avoid this UPS store. They do not take accountability for lost packages and Thomas the acting operations manager has only a few weeks of experience and uses this as an excuse for sending shipments to the wrong locations even after confirming the shipping address many times. My items was delivered to the wrong address and 10 days later they still have not filed an investigation or found my package. This store does not follow protocol and tries its hardest not to file a claim for lost packages.
The older man who was at the counter, was extremely helpful and courteous. I would go back if I needed to return any more Amazon items.
The staff is amazing. The Manager Is so sweet and is a great person to deal with. Her staff has changed but she maintains to train them well and they pick up fast. Great experiences.
Great location, fast friendly staff. when compared to the post office... well you cannot compare. here you get treated with respect and dignity. Ive also learned they do printing here. And they have a computer that you can sit down and print color or b&w.
Used their services quite a few times over the course of a week - with one remarkable exception, staff members treat customers very matter of factly, and not in a positive way. Felt like they couldn’t care less and just want customers to get the heck out.

Five star service beyond amazing
It is the second day after a snow storm and they still have not shoveled in front of their store. People are slipping and falling. Dont shop in a store that shows total disregard for the safety of their neighbors
Needed a passport photo. I walked up the street and saw their sign in the windows for passport photos! Walked in met the friendliest staff. Apparently they just opened. Got me out in under 5 minutes. thanks!
Does this place ever open on time? Its my third time trying to pick up a package 30 minutes after they claim to open and its locked up. Just publish different hours if you cant be bothered to honor them?
Very friendly and helpful. I walked in not knowing what I needed and they gave me my options and then had the whole thing done in a few minutes. Great experience.

I hustled to get there by their 5:00pm Sunday closing time, but they had locked their doors by 4:52pm. The clerk behind the counter refused to acknowledge me.

Absolutely awful - hours posted at the store explicitly state it’s open on Sundays from 11am to 5pm, but place was locked up today without an employee in sight.

2022-06-23We had to go here twice during our NYC vacation. First time to drop off a rent the runway dress and the second time to send two suitcases home that we won’t need for the rest of our trip. Both visits we excellent. Staff was efficient and courteous.

2022-06-12Ive been a customer of this location for years. My experience has been the same prior to the switch and after the switch to UPS. The staff is always friendly and my needs are always met. Keda in particular from day 1, have always gone above and beyond to help every time.

2022-07-19I had 4 framed pieces of artwork, which were difficult to package. Sundi was super helpful, spent time trouble shooting to find the most cost effective way to ship to NM and took extra care packaging these fragile items. Thank you, you went above and beyond, everything made it undamaged.

2022-06-21Sundi is amazing and first rate. The rating would be much much higher if this review were solely based on him. However I’m only able to stop by on the weekends when he’s not there. For months I’d ask the weekend staff if I had packages and they routinely said no. Thankfully I was able to go in Monday which was today and thank goodness Sundi was there. He took the time to look in just one location to find several packages I thought were lost - they had actually arrived SIX MONTHS AGO in December. If only he could work there seven days a week, which I know is unreasonable to ask of that good man.Sundi = 5 starsWeekend staff = 0 stars
