I had to get something notarized as well as get passport photos for my 2 children. Rhonda Lisa could not have been more helpful, gracious, and kind. She truly made it an enjoyable experience and I was not expecting that. My only suggestion would be that I think they should have a bin where you can just easily drop packages rather than having to wait outside for a long time due to Covid. But if you could just run in and out to drop off your package, that would be better.
During these months of lockdown it has been quite an emotional roller coaster. But life has gone on in some way and care packages have continued to be a big part of mine. I have been using the UPS location on 86th between Columbus and Amsterdam, and I have had the pleasure of entrusting my business to Karl.Karl is polite, knowledgeable, and very professional. In a moment that was and still is difficult to adapt to, he prevails by quickly resolving, accepting, and receiving the shipments for the day and sending his clients off with a smile.UPS does a good job of crowd control. As the office is quite tiny and lines can get very long, clients can often become impatient and frustrated. Karl handles these pressures with grace and care.UPS is lucky to have such a wonderful employee, who represents the company so well.Thank you UPS! — the entire staff for never stopping the deliveries and for dealing with the pandemic in a professional and healthy way for all. And a special thank you to Karl for keeping customers positive and giving us hope in this time.
Ive been using this UPS store for years, but lately Ive been really impressed at the speed & efficiency with the current crew. I dont care that there are packages everywhere, they keep it moving! They know how to handle simultaneous customers by priority. And the quickness of getting up to assist an entering customer is worth remembering.
I can’t say enough good things about the two employees who helped me pack and ship three times in the past month. They are fast, efficient, and trustworthy. Don’t try to converse with them they are busy! But you can trust them with your shipping. Excellent customer service!
This Ups store is exceptional. The young and women men they have working there are respectful and more than accommodate me. I recommend this store. Great job!!! The owner of this store and several stores in the area is literally human garbage. Store is incapable of doing their job and instead of taking responsibility for it hed rather just blame the customer. I initiated 3 separate returns to sender on a package that was being kept there and eventually had to pick it up myself.The store held on to my package for over 30 days, UPS policy says it should be returned to sender after 10 days. Owner cant understand that Im upset because he cant seem follow UPS policy. Would you really trust this guy with your packages when he cant follow simple instructions?
I just want to let the neighborhood know how impressed I have been with Karl from the W 86th street store. He is super efficient, kind, knowledgable, and works really well under pressure— I see the store with, at times, 4-5 people waiting. He is able to expertly multitask so everyone is attended to. Thank you for hiring such a wonderful person in our neighborhood!!!! GREAT SERVICE!!!!
Definitely enjoyed my experience visiting this UPS store! They were so friendly and were nice enough to assist me with putting my item in the box for the shipment. Then they notified me telling me the package was supposed to be shipped to USPS instead of UPS. I didn’t know at the time! Will definitely visit this store again in the near future 👍🏻.
Im not sure if it is UPS policy but I was refused the option to buy a box and pack a single item (that had to be shipped) in the store by the store manager. Instead he told me that I would have to pay UPS to pack the box, which was an additional $10 for just putting a single item in a box, putting some tape on it and slapping on the mailing label. When I asked whether I could pack it myself I was told I could not do it in the store. I purchased the box and left the store so that I would not have to pay such an exorbitant rate.I am giving two stars and not one because I have used this store previously in an identical circumstance and was not asked to pay a packing fee when I was trying to ship an item for which I had purchased the box. If this is UPS policy in general, then buyer beware.
Brought my Avery Fabric Transfer Paper here (over a dollar a sheet) to have them assist me with just the inkjet printer. Took this worker over an hour to help me print 6 sheets useless sheets- since she printed the incorrect things on the papers that I BROUGHT FOR MY USE. She completely unapologetic and nonchalant, and all the while spoke to someone on her AirPod without a care in the world.
Horrible service!!!!!! I was rushed and my labels mixed up and the man working put the blame on me . Then he didn’t have small package slisp, he gave me the biggest one making me pay way more. All he kept saying is that he knows how to do his job not to worry , then if you know how to do your job than you wouldn’t have made me buy the biggest package slip for small books, and you wouldn’t rush me to make me mix up the labels. Than on top he kept talking about buying him candy for his good service.
Horrible service . I trusted the West Indian woman to pack an antiques bronze lamp to be sent for repair out of State .She packed it in single sheet bubble wrap and put peanuts all around . Didn’t anchor it so it jumped around all the way in the global box.It arrived - all ( six ) chandelier arms sticking out of the carton and all arms bent inwards. It’s it not a mailing business it’s a scam business.
This place closes at 4:30pm but the website says 9:00pm. I paid to take an Uber to drop off a large heavy package. I then had to walk home with it. Because of this I missed the train I was taking out of the city. Can you just update your hours? Also I called and was told the store was open but it clearly wasn’t.
I was here on Saturday only one person was here which made no sense on a Saturday do they know that people come here on Saturday and the gentleman was working quickly and effectively and i asked him are you always by your self on Saturday and he said all the time does not even get a chance to eat and take a break said if he steps out and they check the camera they would call him and question where he was which is scary to me he cant step up to get something to eat that is a bad job by the manger of this store they need to change i would like to give a huge praise to the gentleman i forgot his name but he needs to get praise the 5 stars is for him not the store
Can I give 10 stars? After a terrible experience at location near 93rd St close to closing, I called these guys up and asked if I rushed they would still be there. They said yes! The guy stayed there until 8:03pm (which was a godsend) and grabbed the gigantic box for me so I didnt have to hoist it anywhere. Even though I live on 95th St, I will haul all my boxes here.
I would have to leave a complaint to the worker that works there on Saturday I go there about every Saturday to drop off packages and the level of people that are coming into that store and the way he handles the line and how quick he helps people to get out of store and not have people wait is amazing I wonder if the manger of this store knows what goes on in there on Saturday to have one person is shocking the three stars are not for him the three star is for the person that makes him work by himself that it is unacceptable

2022-04-29Karl was an MVP at this store. I had to submit a last minute apartment application, he helped print two copies for us, lent us the pen to fill them out and gave us plenty of time to do what we needed to do before scanning it at the store and emailing it. All in one transaction. The truly important part was showing double delete of the information off the email and the printer drive. Super important as the application had our bank numbers and social. True customer support. Thank you Karl. U.P.S. Undeniable Professional Support. Give that man a raise!

Handles efficiently a steady stream of customers and a very large volume of packages daily in a small space, and somehow also manages to promptly answer phone calls and email inquiries about services. A much-appreciated resource on the Upper West Side!

They take one of the most tedious tasks and make you not feel bad when you are disorganized and don’t have the labels . There could be a line of customers and they will manage the situation to help and keep things moving to keep all the short patience folks in control. Thank you

2022-01-08The staff are consistently and unapologetically unprofessional. I have had to call over and over and over just to locate packages they have accepted for me and to get them forwarded. They promise me theyll send me my mail, a week goes by, I call again and its sitting in their store, no explanation. Theyll say they dont have my mail, they check again, and its magically there. They say theyll do better, theyll compensate me and fix it, and nothing happens. This happens repeatedly. Their manager Carl is unhelpful, as is their entire staff. They are undertrained and cannot perform simple tasks. Wild incompetence. I cant take it anymore and I will be moving my business elsewhere. DO NOT use this location.

2022-01-11Karl and Rhonda at this store are the BEST! My daughter was attending college in NYC and living in a dorm near this store. She decided to leave her school at the hight of the omicron wave. We live in Ohio. Karl and Rhonda figured out how to get her stuff packed and shipped home, saving us over 20 hours of winter driving and a stay in NYC during this COVID surge. They delivered boxes to her dorm and then picked them up and organized everything to get this move done. People like Karl and Rhonda are the bright lights in what sometimes feels like a very dark world.

2022-01-02I have come here couple of time. The staff is very fun and helpful. Once I needed help printing important documents and the printer was not working well. They quickly found a remedy to get me going and went out of their way to help me.

2021-01-09Sean- Michael and Rhonda were AMAZING! I came in for packing materials and to ask questions and returned within the hour to send packages. I witnessed Rhonda managed an irrational irate customer over the phone with clam grace and professionalism. Sean- Michael was extremely helpful, delightful and professional. What a great team, what terrific people.
