I had to drop off my package so stop by this store this morning around 11am. Only a woman, spanish old lady was there. I told her need to drop off. She just gave me the sticker envelop. She had very bad attitude to me.I made a shipping label and put it on to the box, she told me to bring to put it to the wall. I did all by myself. As matter of fact, I am the customer and why I had to do this work? Spanish lady was just talking to friend over her phone and doing nothing. I am really dissapointed this store. She should get fire for lazy work and stupid additude.
I called on the phone to ask if they could hold a package since I was away for the holiday, they asked me for my tracking number and said they would, went to pick up today and said they dont do any of that and dont even disclose the status of a package on the phone. Very disorganized.
Really wanted this to work out since its right at the 6 train, but Im now 4 for 4 of being there at 830am to drop off a package while on my way to preschool with the toddler, and the employee waltzes in at 8:35, 8:40am (and without so much as a sorry Im late or any air of urgency at the fact there are 3 to 4 people queued outside waiting on him). Get a different opener employee and Ill give it another shot.
Wish I could give them 0 stars. They are unorganized and rude. I had multiple returns and the employee would roll her eyes at me and told me I cant be coming into their UPS at that time with a bunch of returns. She then told me there are a bunch of other UPS that I am free to go to. Both she and the other employee or manager had on facemask with their noses exposed. Youd think they would know how to properly wear a facemask working in a small busy store.
I have used this location many times to accomplish many different tasks and have never had a bad experience. I often have to return items to Amazon or ship items to my brother across the country. No matter the size of the item, the staff have been helpful and accommodating. Juan has been exceptionally helpful, kind and professional. I cant say enough nice things!
6 days ago, I mailed an envelope (with a home application & bank checks) at this location and asked to “send it the least expensive way” - the cost was $15 to go 2 miles, but ok. Today, I find out the recipient never received the envelope. I called UPS, and they said it was sent via USPS because I asked for the “least expensive method”. Are you kidding? If I wanted USPS, I would’ve gone to the post office. I went to UPS for UPS. And USPS doesn’t charge $15 for an envelope to go 2 miles. The UPS employee later called back to tell me he viewed the footage video of me, and that I indeed asked for the cheapest way - I didn’t deny that, glad you watched the video footage, the question is how can you rectify this? They have no idea where the package is now, and my home sale is waiting on this. These people 100% screwed me. I will absolutely never return and I hope readers are equally appalled.
Went to this store to ship a return item that had a pre-printed label. The associates refused to scan the label, telling me the size and weight of the box were reflected incorrectly. I called the company from the store, told them the issue and they assured me that if scanned the label would cover the shipment-- I told this to the associates and they still refused, telling me that they had instructions from corporate not to accept boxes with labels from this company (this after refusing to look at the label, much less scan it). I took my business over to the UPS store four blocks away, there were no issues and I received a confirmation in just two days. I wont make the mistake of visiting again.
Very disrespectful! Whoever was working there: older man with glasses and younger guy very rude when I tried to explain the shipping method for my amazon return package. As soon as I walked in old man screamed at me saying the location was closed, but the door was wide open no where indicating it was closed. I apologized and said I didn’t know since door was open. Second incident younger rude person said I had to pay for my package to be shipped, older man interrupted and started talking another language and was making me choose the biggest shipping envelope when my item was very small and definitely would fit in smaller envelope. That being said old man got frustrated with me trying to put my item in package and started saying that I needed to get another envelope because the one i had was ripping; I took item out envelope and he screamed again saying I couldn’t get another envelope that I had to use the one I had. That being said I got frustrated and told him to make up his mind why did he tell me to stop putting item in the envelope and then tell me to take it out and put the item back in. After this he said I was an immigrant and didn’t speak english the “correct” way. He said I was speaking “spanglish.” I never even mentioned a spanish word in this conversation. Anyways these individuals are very unprofessional and rude. They had and have no right discriminating someone based on their status or way of speaking. I will be reporting them to ups headquarters. Honestly if they dont want to work then they shouldn’t. Worst experience ever!
DO NOT GO HERE. Save your money. I Paid $300.00 Dollars for an express international package. I played for customs and taxes from the county I was sending. 3 weeks later I get a call from my recipient that DHL delivery person wanted another 300.00 to release the package. Got nowhere with DHL and no help or answer from anyone in this place. This was the second time they have done this . there will be no 3rd time. Please save your time and money. Dont send your packages here .
This is the most money hungry and expensive UPS store Ive ever been to. Ridiculous the prices they make you pay. I was just going to send a package that was already wrapped to FL, I just needed a shipping label. The package was less than 1 pound and they charged me $17. Dont ever go here. The worst.
They frequently over charge, have lost our packages, shipped out our packages late (for no reason) and constantly have new people working there who give a vibe off of not caring. Great spot for a ups store, but totally worth the walk over to lenox to deal with ups people who arent trying to rip you off and take care of your items.
I love this store, they have met my needs and did it on time. The manager, Sany was kind and helpful and walked me through everything that I didnt understand. His helper, Fahim also helped out tremendously with packing and shipping my items. Printing and scanning documents were a breeze and faxing and also shipping were also excellent. I would definitely recommend coming to this store for all your needs whether it be notarizing or shipping, to even boxes, this store has it all
Professionals.... I went there to have documents printed from a Flash Drive. Im not so Tech Savvy . I was very appreciative of the help I received from the staff. Cost me less than $6 to access my Flash & have my docs printed. They REALLY helped me out of a time sensitive issue. Its not STAPLES, But they did delivery. Its Great to have service like that in E.Harlem. BTW, they do Receive & Deliver packages & have PO boxes.Thank You Natasha @ UPS
This place is the absolute worst, I’ve gone multiple times to print a shipping label and every time their printer is not working. I asked when they are gonna have it fixed and I was told it’s been broken for 2 months. Don’t waste people’s times if you don’t have a service. Avoid this place if possible
Employees are very rude and they are not helpful. Went there on Saturday (9/12/20) around 3:20pm to drop off packages and employee who was there he spoke different languages and body language was bad. After I dropped off he told me to move box around the corner of the store!

2022-06-24If it was possible, Id give the Lex Ave location negative stars.It seems the delivery people cant read, or dont bother to read the address carefully because whenever they leave a notice, it has the WRONG address (by several blocks) or you cant make out whats written. Ive never gotten a UPS package on time, nor good service when I went to pick it up. This is just plain laziness, and probably why other courier companies fare so much better than UPS.Come on UPS... Manhattan is on a grid, step up your game!

I telling him i want to ship,its for my mom. But the employee treating me look like i have no money for ship. Very unprofessional employees ever seen my life

2021-12-21If I can give more than 5 stars I would’ve. I don’t ever do reviews but I decided to give one. Doesn’t hurt!I’ve had so long coming to this location ya’ll to do Amazon returns and ship but mostly returns and everytime I go I see different workers and people that don’t want to help. There is this young lady now working there and sorry but don’t know her name even if it’s on her shirt but I don’t remember but she is always smiling(Great thing) and she didn’t even get mad when I pulled out all my returns and she had more people to take care of. People need recognition and I saw she used 2 computers at the same time she did a shipment if I’m not mistaken because I seen she took down customer info and while the customer paid she used the other computer to assist another customer at the same time. That’s talent and I noticed that. She also kept saying out loud “mailbox 249” which I guess she needed assistance to get the boxes for the client but nobody came out to help her but the young lady still assisted everyone. I was so surprised. If I would’ve had cash on me i would’ve tipped her but listen we staying broke with this Christmas.I’ll be coming back to this store.

2021-10-25I come in regularly to ship for my job. The employee has even noted this several times and I specified I come in for work. So therefore it comes as a surprise how rude he was today. I came in and waited behind two people. Then a woman came in and asked for a box. She tried to pay multiple times but the employee ignored her while he helped the other two customers. But when it came to me, he let her go ahead of me. After she left I said I found it rude he let her cut me like that. He snapped that I was making a big deal out of nothing and why do you people always make mountains of things? He tried to claim that I was being rude because she had a baby but the baby was asleep in her carrier, and he helped two other people while she waited! When I noted I come in all the time to ship he replied I dont care. I said Id have to find another location. He said he didnt care and his fellow employee just laughed. Mind you, again, this employee has noted repeatedly that I come in a lot. And this is how he chose to treat me. I will not be returning.

2022-01-04I would give more than 5 stars but first of all l want to say this is not the first time this employee is very helpful at this location but also at a different location in 95th St. He’s very respectful. Always greeting customers as they walk in to the store. I believe his name is Chris tall Hispanic guy. Always very helpful and multitasking if needed when working alone. Always making sure customer is happy if you need help go to Chris very helpful guy.

2021-08-11I came in for a shipment and the first thing I noticed coming in was the wave of hot air. The guys were sweating like crazy and it’s a heat wave. It was wayyyy to hot for me to stay. I asked about why they don’t have an air conditioner. The employees didn’t answer me. That’s ridiculous. People can have a heat stroke if they’re in there for more than 3 minutes. I won’t be back till winter, it’s too much

Employee who answered said there was no notary service at that location then hung up, very unprofessional and rushed, I didn’t get to ask any questions or inquire as to his answer. Have never visited the location and probably never will now . 0/5 stars!
