Shop Fair Supermarkets in other cities:
I would give it a half star if i could. I had bought water from shoprite but they didnt have but one of the brand that I wanted. So I when into shop fair to buy two more bottles, which are ridiculously overpriced for water, they tried to accuse me of stealing a bottle of water. because now I had three bottles of water. Worst store ever, really bad store.
I asked for a Dominican cake for my daughters birthday. When we went home we open the box and the cake was horrible, not even a Dominican cake. We went to the shop to return it and the workers insisted that it was. I am a baker and I know from experience that that isnta Dominican cake. This isntthe first time that that happened, it also happened to one of my friends.
It smells like a dead body. I believe the rotten smell comes from not being hygienic in the seafood and meat butcher section. In terms of price, they are super expensive compare to ShopRite weekly deals. In terms of staffing, most of the cashier clerks are completely young and rude. They lack of customer service skills and their dress code are not presentable... Basically they look ghetto.
The employees here do not wear proper protective equipment. In the middle of a pandemic their employees wear the mask around their neck( only covering their mouth, not their nose) and they talk non stop while cutting the meat, potentially exposing all the food they are preparing for you to take home. Spend your money elsewhere, where they will value your life, but also their own.
Housed in the center of Getty Square, Shop Fair Supermarket is a gourmet spot in Yonkers. A bit pricey in somethings, the store has a bakery, fish department, and a big frozen food aisle, which features ice cream, dinners and certain meats. The store also has fresh meats, cakes, along with outstanding fruits and vegtables. If you got the money its worth the trip.
Spend your had earne money at another location on multiple occasions there’s always been arguments in the store or fighting n shouting had to leave out with my kids and they employee Allan never be wrong even they can clearly see I was over charged.....they are very hostile

2019-04-14I love the place they have everything I could need things I used to buy online only. However their prices are all over the place. A simple example head lettuce two stores down a $1.49 here $3.99. beware if you have pets their pet food prices are crazy. Breads and pastries other stuff really great prices.

2022-02-04Very neat, clean, and organize supermarket. They basically have everything you need for your kitchen in this supermarket. Somethings are a little pricey but other than that is good overall.

2021-11-11It is an area mini shopping place with convinient products and groceries. The prices are affordable and customer service is not quite standard. Most of the employees barely speak English. The common communication from the employees are Latino/ Hispanic. Although I speak commercial Spanish with the employees to find items I want to buy, it is not going to be one of my best shopping places with no offence to the language.

2021-11-25I was so happy to learn that they finally opened a new supermarket around the square being that Shoprite was the only local option for years but it has lots of cons more than pros. The selection is good. You can find what your looking for but its too high priced for my taste and when your going to check out, the prices never match. Always ring up different. After getting overcharged so many times, I finally learned to take pics of the signs put up and take my time at the register with certain items. They get aggravated I guess being that they need to call the manager to get an override ALOT. Price things correctly and this wont happen! Also, to give a complaint to me is useless. They ALL back each other up. Probably a cultural thing idk. My biggest issue is lots of the items are expired. Take time checking the expiration dates. Youll see what Im talking about. And the produce is wayyy to expensive and also not fresh. I go there when I absolutely HAVE to and when I do ALWAYS end up spending more than $100 on very few items. They have free delivery for over $50, lines go quick and close at 9pm so thats good.
