Terrible staff, been there multiple times and every time I tried to asked someone that works there a question they either walk away like nobody is talking to them or they are never able to answer the question, they never know anything, they hired people to not do their job.
Recently a drug users needle was found in the bathroom at this store. This is disgusting and the Manager did not care. Ive shopped here plenty of times and you could tell the people who do not belong here, junkies should not be allowed to hang out in a store putting customers at risk. But this is what happens when there is a store close to a homeless shelter, employees doesnt care , management doesnt care they should all be fired. Dont shop here !!!!
They lack the things other shoprites have. If you need pork go there. I call it the pork capital.very disorganized as far as keeping lines at cashiers . Very long wait time. People also argue over parking spaces in lot. Be ware!!! Cashier need to help customers bag just like every other shoprite.
I always find the prices go up and down on food items, but I guess it depends on what weeks you go on, but theres always a sale on something. They seem to try to keep things stocked up and keep the lines moving pretty quickly. Ive always found the meats and cold cuts to be pretty fresh and the food products as well. Ive never found the store to be dirty or messy and for the most part the cashiers always seem to be pretty friendly.
Good experience in general except for one thing. Im very happy that plastic bags disappeared from stores, I know that is something that will help our planet. The problem is that now if you take your own bags the cashier wont help you to pack.I bought about 80 items and the cashier didnt put no even an item in my bags. I dont think thats good customer service.
Piranha, I walked out of CVS parking lot to go to an ATM one block away.I was gone 8 minutes.(ATM Receipt) He placed a boot on my car and demanded cash to remove boot. This was at 2:32 pm. He mentioned that I walked right past him. He said nothing. Piranha In the Parking Lot.What Government agency issued Permit # 93
Bakery is worst section of this ShopRite. Almost every ShopRite in New Jersey and upstate New York have wonderful selections in the bakery reasonably priced and always fresh. This bakery has limited choices and nothing is as fresh or tasty. Otherwise the rest of the store is similar to every other shoprite.
You get 3 stars because I love this spot BUT! please check your expiration date on your meats I saw green stuff growing sausages and the chicken reeked and prepacked goods not always fresh very disappointed produce always good and fix. Your elevator too many seniors and disabled people need it
Large selection, clean, but I was unhappy with being directed to wait in the 5 items or less isle with other customers who had full shopping carts...watching people disregard the line while the attendant overlooked them. At the register I purchased my items and waited for a bag to which I was told they cost .10 each. That in itself is ugly to me... but the fact that the employee at the register did not inform me of this practice before I paid was frustrating. Was I supposed to swipe my debit card again for .10 cents? To which the cashier replied: you dont like it? Call corporate. Customer service was definitely questionable.
Im so tired of all the panhandlers individuals outside this store I was curse out because I refuse one of them they ask if I needed a taxi I said no thank you then they grab my cart and try to push it ...i reported the incident to customer service the lady said what u want me to do .....get security and keepbthe place safe for people whos shopping
I had a great experience . The place is crowded and lines too long. But you have great prices on many items. Premium chicken breasts were $1.69 lb today. And other items were similarly low priced. Parking is available but dont stay too long because you can get towed after 2 hours. A diverse multi-culti shopping experience. But they have everything and the cashiers are really nice. I purchased mini rose plants for $4.99 great Valentines gifts.
Best way to shop in this store is to do it about 8:00 in the morning since Im not a senior citizen! Id welcome it if this particular store did online shopping and delivery. Its tiring to go into ALL the aisles, I went this morning before 8:30 and Im dead tired. But I like going there. Except for a security guard they have there, he has ABSOLUTELY NO MANNERS! Someone should inform this jackass that if customers dont come in to shop he doesnt have a job!
I love your format. I feel safer now than before the virus because of the distance and forming the lines to pay is great because people are not standing and pushing. Only one thing I ask of you. Please ask people to leave the kids bikes and or scooters out of the store. This is not the place to get into it with a patient over a child in the way with those items. They are for the streets, not the store. People are under pressure, so am I
Ive been coming here to this place for a very long time now and I can tell you that I love this place alot because of the things I buy and the sales that they have but the expiration dates need to be a longer time before they do expire but all and beyond I can say that the service is great but a little hectic due to the people in the store but all I can say is that I love this place to shop and dont want to go elsewhere may this store shine and keep on thriving.
Not my top pick of all the shoprites Ive been too mainly because they need to beef up the security. They have some unsavoury characters that hang around the upstairs parking garage. Late nights I wouldnt feel safe going there knowing they dont have many security cameras or just one security guard patrolling downstairs. As far grocery selection, they do carry a wide variety. The aisles are organized and well displayed, which makes it easy to see everything you need. They have plenty of cashiers so that cuts down on long lines and huge wait time to check out.
Wide, fresh, diverse stock, not available elsewhere. Good to great prices. For instance 24oz. 8 Oclock Coffee $10.99 on sale $9.99. A must for holiday meals.Responsive management.Helpful employees.Pleasant fellow customers who are not as uptight as other stores.Always a pleasure.
If I could give this place 0 or negative stars I would this is the worst supermarket around They say social distance but have everybody bunched up in the aisle The cashiers do not want to bag up your food You ask a question they ignore you Please go to a better supermarket Go to Wegmans Foodtown or any of the supermarkets on South Broadway You will be better offf
Ive been going here since I was a kid. Has all your food needs plus some not so food needs. Some cashiers take a little longer than others but Ive been so many times I can tell the difference now lol... Lots of friendly people but Ive encountered some not so friendly people also. Theyre promotions during holidays for free Turkey/ham are better than those of other supermarkets Ive seen.
The selection of certain items is limited. They also have things on the shelf past the best by date. The staff also can be difficult at times when it comes to coupons and such. They have a habit of forgetting to ring them up then telling you they cant do anything about it, customer service will help but they usually say its not something they can do if it happens again. Theyre are other staff members that are very helpful and so nice, they almost make up for the shortcomings of the store. Management is always very nice and helpful.
Hardworking staff and inventory/stock personnel, great prices, best times to go are during business hours on a weekday or after hours after 8 pm to midnight if you are in a hurry. Rush hour or weekends, you better brace yourself and practice some serious patience between the parking, finding a fully functioning shopping cart and navigating isles before the traffic jam at the cash registers. Hey, we all go through it but I give it to management and the employees that do their best to keep the place moving.
The store was crowded especially by the registers. Customers didnt want to move. (Very rude) I normally go to the one in new Rochelle for some reason the service is a little faster and the people are more polite. I got on the line for 15 items or less and people definitely had more.
This Shoprite is large and has a decent selection if organic and healthy products. Want Almond flour? Xanthan Gum? Impossible meat products? Deals on Oat and cashew milk? This is your place... And you can also pick up all of your other groceries. The staff is relatively friendly and helpful. The store is always tidy and inviting when Ive been there. Will it be a zoo on the weekends or before a holiday? Of course. Do they get some sketchy customers? Yep. Is it worth going to because youre likely to find everything you need and whatever you dont you can grab from CVS upstairs??? Absolutely.
Was not happy to see an elderly customer being denied access to a cashier in terminal 2 who before spent good time talking to two customers and when an elderly man inadvertently went straight to her there was disorder. Store employee Marcelo then gave permission to the cashier not to accept that customer. The elderly man was in need of respect
This ShopRite is decent; what can I say? 🤷🏾♂️ - it’s a supermarket! Typical challenges are as follow: you get in the express line and “that one annoying customer” with over 7 items (on a lane that says: “6 items or less”) in addition to wanting to look for that extra “dime” in the bottom of her purse 👛 this is definitely not under their control of the supermarket; I just wished people respect the policies.I love the fact they open early and close late! Easy to navigate the market. At times the customer traffic is HUGE! I just hope they get a bit more serious about getting those individuals outside asking for change or food... I believe they could offer better help to those in needs and clear up the area for customers.
The new owners products are terrible. Bowling basket I believe it’s called or vice versa. The prices have gone up significantly. There are also things I can no longer get there. I’m definitely looking for another store. I’ve already you stop and shop which is so expensive and Whole Foods we’re actually got more items than I did at Stop & Shop surprisingly and I’ve also gone to Stew Leonard’s but they’re too expensive for most items.
I dont like it when people open up bags of fresh fruit. Dig hands in it. Eat the fruit and then put it back on the shelf for others to buy. I dont want those grapes. There are always people sleeping on the ground in front of the store. By the bottle recycling area and carts. Other than that an ok store.
I love my neighborhood store. Its usually stocked with all my needs. The only complaint I must give is how exasperated the stocking people are at times. Customers dont need to know how hard your job is all the time, thats why its called a job! its work! Idk would it helped if I went over to the manager and complained on your behalf that you are overwhelmed with too much work would that help? whatever, anyway overall its a good supermarket good prices.
Overcrowded almost all the time. Parking is a disaster and dare you park your car and walk on the sidewalk to finish a phone call before you get into the loud and crazy store and a towing company hidden in pickup trucks will boot your car and you get a $60? or more bill. Not to mention the parking lot is insane and your car will get dented by other cars or carts. Not my favorite place to be.
This is the ABSOLUTE top notch of shopping for your groceries spot. It has anything you are looking for a wide variety of low sugar and low carb no MSG etc. Or diet foods. Two sections for the baby and family very long aisles. An extensive bakery and butchering staff that is very knowledgable. Not only are their prices to beat the quality and quantities of their products are impeccable. Staff is always courteous and respectful. Line are never so long youd rather go elsewhere, and why go elsewhere when you can Shop Right. RIGHT?
Clean, organized and full of friendly staff. I’ve been coming here 14 years now and I never have a problem finding what I need from apricots to zucchini. Prices are very competitive with surrounding markets and their meats are always fresh. Recommend this place to every one.
The worst customer service. While buying American beef tender loin from the meat department I found the sign said the Australian product was $8.99 while the American product was $6.99. But the actually product was labeled reverse. I talked to the butcher and he said the sign is wrong and walks away taking the sign with him. Any other place would honor that price on the sign rather than the simply walking away...
Food shopping should be an event that should be peaceful all around. Food venues like this should be a sanctuary of safety for the customers. The day I went a fight broke out between two people that got extremely confrontational and bloody. Broken glass and blood were spewed on the floor as a result of a negative interpersonal communication between what I perceive to be a security guard or regular patron and an individual who was upset as to how he was spoken to. It was hard to explain to my step daughter what happened as I shielded her eyes from the floor.I have been to many Shop Rites and the stores are all the same, always easy to find things, and the lines are not so bad. This experience at Greenway however has prompted me to not visit this venue again with my family based on others stating this happens on a frequent basis at this location.Better security and enforcement response time is needed in this location. Children were present as this occured. I will still take my family to Shop Rites during our shopping week, but definitely not this location again.
Good prices and nice staff. When it gets busy they handle the crowd and their employees well. Its always clean and organised. Whenever I need to find a specific product, I always received the help I needed.Con: Their bathrooms are oddly always gross, smelly, and and messy-even with a new reonovation from a few years ago.--Personally, it just gets a little creepy with other male customers as they get very strange in terms of staring or following me into other aisles.
I dont really like shopping here. There are some good items-Organic/Health Food sections and the produce is good. If you need assistance, it can be hard to come by-1 produce employee is always going home and can never assist you with anything.Lines are LongBathrooms disgusting!!!!Always
I love this supermarket because they have great sales each week. Theres fresh produce and lots of varieties of food to select from. The cashier are fast during check-out. Most of the time, theres ample registers open. However, there seems to be a shortage on stationary products. I went to buy glue and there was none in the entire store, very disappointing because I really needed it at the time.
Theres a Big African-American Girl That work i think her name is Name Karen she has the Nastiest Attitude ever when she is at the courtesy desk you can sense the negative and angry energy as you approach she doesnt smile she doesnt make you feel welcome to the store and she kills bald fade big bully attitude I play Lottery at the front desk and she got some of my numbers wrong shes going to be this nasty I dont think that she should work with the public because the customer is always right. But overall shoprite has fresh food and Great prices.
It was our first time there people were no wearing there mask there was no wipes to disinfect the shopping cars cashier was very rude i paid with a credit card and she did not informed me ahead of time that i needed to purchase bags with cash only before i bought my items the bathroom was dirty i have been to other shoprites and it is nothing like this please look into what its going on in this franchise.
Customer service employees arent friendly, produce is not fresh,ex. strawberries at bottom of tin have mold, lettuce is bad, tomatoes soft. For the sales they never have enough of the sale product by the 3rd day of the sale.. needs some work, and employee workshop for customer service skills..
This neighborhood is a large area servicing many people. From the time the store opens till it closes it services A LOT of people, at least 40 people in the store at any hour, even on a slow day. However if you think that means theyd have at least 8 lanes open at a time you would be sadly mistaken. Maximum of 5 lanes are open at a single time so if you want ice-cream itll be leaking by the time youve checked out, if you want any frozen food itll be thawed by time time youve checked out, if you want any hot food itll be room temperature at the highest by the time youve checked out. Employees are rude and the isles are small but employees are always restocking food in multiple isles making the store even more crowded and hard to move around at the same time. If you walk through the produce section, the plantains especially are full of flies, infact some days there are more flies then plantains and the other fruits in the produce section dont look much better. If you must go here then you have no choice but if you can avoid it stay as far away as possible.
If i had another choice of places close to me i would not shop here its okay because its convenient. Its always packed they barely have people on cash registers so its always long lines their fruits and vegetables are not always in the best shape. But they do always have good sales
Friendly staff! Prices are good 👍. Pharmacy,is one of the,BEST,the staff knows me by name,,when I have to pickup my prescriptions, like I said, they know my name, date of birth, the women who work the register, are,AWESOME, the pharmacist are knowledgeable, friendly. Just a ,GREAT STORE,(25-43, Prospect St.Yonkers,N.Y.)!!!
The elevator is almost out of service more than it is in service. Some of the prices are too high. Ive seen the same products in reputable stores for much less. And the produce is bruised and doesnt look fresh. There needs to be more order established When the store is crowded. The cashier lines are oftentimes confusing to customers. Most of the time electronic items that are advertised in the store circular, are not in stock. Overall, this ShopRite is digressing into a low end oversized corner store (Bodega).
I love this store but Im very unhappy with the cashier Elizabeth. I understand places of employment get discounts for hiring people who should be on social security because of their age and this woman is definitely one of them. The time it took to ring up the grocerys was very disturbing. My frozen food was damaged from being left out of the freezer so long for 30 minutes I waited for her to do my grocery because she didnt know what she was doing and had to call her supervisor over like 10 times
This location never has anything in the flyer in stock! Continuous pain in the neck! The upgraded layout is horrible! It’s like “going in circles” in this supermarket. Also the the lines are always too long and to even buy a few things takes forever. I prefer the other locations better than this store. It’s a shame, I live right near this Shoprite. 😞
Driving to this particular supermarket is a hassle but there is ample parking. Its a big store and its pretty neat located and South Yonkers not too far from Getty Square. I was here yesterday and it was pretty crowded. Its the best place to shop in that part of Yonkers. Its not as glamorous as the other Shop Rights in the area. Many people walk to this property. Its like a local grocery store but its gigantic and there are tens of thousands of people living around it. They have everything you need, so give it a try. Shoprite of Greenway plaza is a decent place to go to!
Place is disgusting. People spit on the floors, staff doesnt mop if you tell them. Walking down the aisles is a cacophony of workers blasting music on their phones or talking on their phones. Checkout is insanely slow, usually because the checkers are talking and going at a snails pace.I live down the block and I drive to a cleaner and cheaper place. Ive never had a decent experience here.
Always crowded. Rude employees although not all of them. There are a limited few who are very curious and friendly even while taking verbal abuse from shoppers. Generally dirty. Always dirty unbathed people hanging around begging for change and cigarettes. Only shop there because unfortunately south Yonkers does not have any other major grocery stores in the area. Quite a few extremely obnoxious and rude coustomers.
A few things ,Waited outside for 20min on a line 6ft away from each other . Then after shopping had to line up in 1 line un aisle 15 with everyone else On top of each other not even 6ft. I ask the manager OJ and he said he wants it that way so the people can shop but before if you letting people in one by one it shouldnt be a problem for the people to shop .. dont understands why manger OJ have it like that.. its a health risk i think
Although the upgrade is pretty nice, the bathroom is still as filthy as it was years ago. The deli people are awesome. The entrance from Riverdale Avenue all the way down to the entrance door is disgusting and there is a horrible foul odor because of the area where the bottles are being loaded. Many homeless people lounging around.
They have great deals but you have to be a club member to get them🤨...thats why I prefer Stop&Shop..they still offer you the deal on a vistor membership..but I love their seafood area...the worker in this area is very courteous and knowledgeable plus they offer a wide range of fresh sea food
Just wanted to leave a review in the deli Boars Head section, I was waiting to get called in line, when the light skinned, skinny lady that wears glasses got her paper and pen ready she was just staring at me without calling whos next and then she left from the counter. Then after I got called, she came back and she finally called the next person. I felt discriminated, hope she gets fired.
Staff is great. Everything you need . some of there weekly sales are phenomenal. Be careful there is a lot of line cutting and one of the night managers is a complete rasist. I promise you this! There are frequent confrontations and fighting. Bottom line store is awesome but a lot of the customers are complete savages. SHOP IN THE DAYTIME preferably before 3. And be prepared for rude uncivilized rasist fights and pan handling. Last. Watch when going thru parking lot the taxi drivers have a bad habit of shoving the carts out into the lot without looking.....a GREAT store in the middle of the jungle filled with savages....on my grandmothers grave.
Its always a pleasure to shop here. You can always find d crew who are willing to stop what they are doing to assist you locating something elsewhere. Ive been to other Shoprites and her so lost in finding items I would leave without what I went in for. Koodoos to great customer service!🌠
It was total chaos. No order as far as assisting with the single line that we all have to make for the checkout and they have forming it right through aisle 5 (wth!!). Instead of having the line wrap around like the one in Scarsdale and Tuckahoe this Shoprite has it running right through a tight aisle that interferes with other shoppers
I keep shopping at this place because of their prices even though their produce items are pretty almost dead before you buy. I had to bring avocados or loose garlic because they are literally rotten inside. The so-called lady manager (her name starts with J) is extremely rude and moody. She might be having an early menopause or something I dont know. Anyway, I even wasted my time to make a comment about this place. Good luck to me and all who plan to shop here with really long lines and some rude managers.
I dont know how such a big place has such little storage. There are pallets of unpacked goods in the middle of EVERWHERE. It makes navigating this busy place a nightmare. They have hot dogs in at least three different sections, but each section does not have the same brand. So good luck finding all the sections to see if they have your brand. The cashiers work at glacial speeds are just not interested in their jobs. I literally go across the city to better places. What a $h*t $how.
I have never in my life been in a place with slower service. You can be in the Express Lane for five items or under and still somehow wait in line for 20+ minutes. Also, many of the employees seem very unprofessional (chatting with other employees instead of hurrying along with the checkout, listening to headphones, or day dreaming). The aisles are so jammed from people waiting in line that you can’t get your cart by. The people behind the deli counter are slower than my grandmother. My blood literally boils every time I walk into this store because of how crowded it is. Many of the shoppers are also completely unaware of the fact that there are other shoppers around them and they yell rude, disrespectful things and refuse to move out of the way when you try to get by. This store is literally a horrendous excuse for a grocery store and I would give it -1000 stars if I could.
I love shopping at shoprite. They have good deals. I feel they need to improve on safety. There were several water spills throughout store. When I told a produce employee he had a very bad attitude n continued to work instead of getting somebody or cleaning up the spill. Thats apart of customer servive.
I have shop here for the over seventeen years and I wouldnt trade this store for no other. The managers Jerry and Tony are absolutely amazing.Even when I have areas of concerns, they address it immediately. The deli worker Devonne is very courteous.Of course like any business you have good and bad, but for the most part they are wonderful.Thank you ShopRite for just being here in our community.JB
My father in law lives nearby and one day we decided stop by to buy groceries. We have been coming to this shoprite ever since despite the fact that we live in the city. This shoprite is clean and organized and we don’t mind driving here to stock up on groceries because they have the best prices!! It’s hard to find a supermarket in the city with reasonable prices.
Ive lived all of my life, with the exception of the last 6 years, in the 5 boros of NYC. There is not a single Supermarket in NYC, that maintains the prices, quality of food and cleanliness of facility on a consistent basis as this Shop Rite. Even the customer service is great. I actually enjoy shopping there.
It has alot of great sales and has alot of items. Its huge. But it gets packed and you have to make long lines most times. The bathrooms are filthy tho because homeless people roam around the area. But as far as the sales its the best of the shoprites ive seen so far.
One of worst stores in the system. Rude white manager nicer manger of color. Poorly managed meat manager us like an idiot. Out of date products no longer give customers a buck for finding them. Wonderful store system poorly run. Our family was in grocery business since 1908 and I knew the guy from Vails gsit who owned the big store.
In my opinion ShopRite prices use to be reasonable. Store go by were they are located. And there prices go up and up. Prices come down when nobody has money. Check day pay day prices goes back up. People who live in the area havent any choice. No place else to shop. 😎
This place is a madhouse. Aisles are too tight, and they often just leave out palettes of items. The checkout is a terrible experience. The cashiers are constantly chatting with each other, and are incredibly slow at scanning. I had someone mistype my broccoli code once and tried to charge $15 for 3 lbs at $.99/pound. I had to convince him that I didnt have 15 pounds of broccoli. They also dont enforce the maximum item limit on express checkout. Expect to get stuck behind someone with a full cart when youre just picking up eggs.
I commute from the city to get my produce and meat - very fresh assortment. Has an organic aisle and sells some Non-High Fructose syrup ingredient products. More often than not this supermarket has an array of sales. Can and will get overcrowded whilst shopping during peak times. Wait times are really bad when this occur. Be aware of these times - due to the extremely long lines that curve around and into aisles you wont be able to see when the cashier closes his or her register.
Where do I begin? I will list them1) Not enough Organic Fruits and Vegetables2) Not enough health food in the health food section. No gluten free cereal besides granola3) No organic cheese4) Not a good variety of non meat foods.5) No variety of Dr. Praegers Veggie BurgersOne has to shop at Wholefoods in Ridgehill. They don’t cater to vegans/vegetarians at all.
Very very disrespectful and low class employees and management. The deli will screw up your order and smile. The lines are long, the cashiers are slow and angry. All this and they tend to overcharge cash paying citizens during the first week of every month. Be careful.
The prices are what keep this store going. Why does it take an entire day to checkout at this store!!! Where do they find their employees??Stop the talking and get to work!! I also thought the renovation would have made the store bigger but it got smaller. Need smaller carts to get around all the time crowded store!!
Offerings and pricing displayed in informative manner. Staff available to answer questions and assist. Fresh, frozen etc., checked for current dates. New and customary items places for customer selection. Sufficient registers managed for quick and causal and family shopper.
Wish I could rate it 0 stars. This place is disgusting, disfunctional, ghetto, as is the night staff. My boyfriend and I walked in and they accused him of stealing $4 eye drops after we spent almost $100. They were incredibly disrespectful, yelling at us like we were kids and even threatened to have us arrested. This place is horrible, go to the shoprite on tuckahoe or scarsadale youre less likely to be harassed.
Nice big store and very clean. The store has a nice meat and fresh produce department . The store is a bit easier to navigate than the Shop Rite on Tuckahoe Rd. They have a great fresh prepared food section with fresh hot Rotisserie Chicken, Fried Chicken hot or cold, Ribs and other prepared foods all reasonably priced between 4.99 to 8.99. Both the checkers and floor staff very friendly and the store overall is not as congested as the Shoprite on Tuckahoe Rd. The store is a bit out of my way travel wise, but overall, worth the trip I like it.
For the most part the staff is nice but to much people chill in the front makes is really uncomfortable and they really need too get cash registers open it is a real turn off too have to wait so long on lines when only 5 or 6 registers open it makes say I come back a anther day
The cashier Marla took 1hr to do my WIC checks when i had ask for someone else she got mad and said that everyone was going to take this long 😡😡😠 i been taking my wic checks to other supermarkets there was no reason why this time was an hr wait she was just doin everything really slow and with an attitud i dont understand why they have people working like this if they have a problem they should give the jobs to people that really enjoy doing this
Shoprite is the most famous grocery store in all of yonkers new york I love their prices and the have really good frozen goods and great drinks and good other food and snacks and the prices are not expensive as other stores and when i go with mom its very good excerise and its fun to explore all around the store and i love the way on how when we got food I love how long you got to walk because walking around is good for you I cant stop ranting and raving about the prices.
The ShopRite located on Prospect Street in Yonkers New York and Riverdale Avenue also has a CVS located on top of it customer service at the ShopRite is great it is not 24 hours when it stays open to 12 midnight on most nights easy to spot from Prospect Street and Riverdale Avenue in Yonkers this ShopRite has a huge parking lot self-serve lines and regular conventional lines the ShopRite is fairly big
Too many people on food stamps in this store. The worst are some NY State checks which require a signature. Avoid checkout lines if you notice someone trying to pay with one of these checks. There should be opportunities for people to get an entry level job instead of relying on government assistance to get their groceries.
On May 19th 2017 employees turned away 11 customers 23 minutes before closing time about half of the people explaining to the employee at the door they only need one or two iteams. One customer actually ran out of cough syrup and explained the the employee (that constantly redirected us to the Tuckahoe store) she doesnt own a car. Now Ive personally worked retail I know when its time to close you have a certain amount of time to clean up and count out but were talking about not letting people in one or three minutes before closing not 20 to 25 minutes before the listed closing time.
There is a customer service lady call Yessica, she was really nasty with me made me wait more than 20 minutes in a lottery line just for a bottle water ticket. Plus the manager said I have to the line for just a ticket to buy ... and then I have to do the line again to paid .. this is the most stupid thing and bad service ever ... i will try do not buy here again
Shop rite does not have the answer.Customers are rude and clog the front of the store.Cold cut workers talk over your food while slicing.Register people are slow and grumpy.Ive heard them talk about customers and make bad remarks one cash register person made coments to my wife about my belly, she asked my wife if it was a boy or a girl and she had two badges for good customer relations on kind of joke is that also her name was ms.jones, and she was short and fat. There is always a line to get out of the store cause they never open enough lines. All in all i wish there was a better store closer what happened to pathmarks
Very clean and well refrigerated store. The people who work there were very helpful. The reason I only gave it three stars It was my first time at that shopping center. I needed to go to CVS as well as ShopRite. CVS is upstairs ShopRite is downstairs. After I did my CVS shopping walked down the stairs to ShopRite. I bought cases of water and had plenty of heavy bags... Only to find out that the elevator was not working. First, no one knew how I could get upstairs until one guy said or you can go up that ramp. So I pushed my heavy cart up this ramp with cars whizzing past me like we were in the Indy 500. Fix the elevator!
I WISH I COULD GIVE THIS STORE A NEG STAR, NOT DUE TO PRODUCT, BUT THE MANAGERS HAVE NO RESPECT FOR THEIR EMPLOYEES THEY TREAT THEIR CASHIERS WITH NO RESPECT. I HAVE SEEN MANAGERS SPEAK WRONGFULLY TO THEIR STAFF. VERY EMBARRASSING FOR ANY ONE . THE NIGHT MANAGER RON IS THE WORST KIND OF MANAGER DOES NOT TREAT ANY ONE WITH RESPECT NOT THE STAFF NORE THE CUSTOMER. I BEEN COMING HERE SINCE I WAS A CHILD AND I AM MORE THEN DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS STORE. THEY HAVE GREAT PEOPLE WORKING BUT THEY ARE NOT TREATED WITH RESPECT DUE TO POWER. SOME ONE NEED TO CLEAN THAT STORE UP AND SOON CAUSE WILL CONTINUE TO LOSE CUSTOMERS.
Overall I like this ShopRite but there was this one guy that was very rude and who he took the other person before me even though I was waiting in line just because the person I was with that had the money to pay for the items wasn’t there to pay and in another part of the store getting a different item , which was very rude I have not since seen him their customer service definitely needs improvement but overall it is a local grocery store for me.

2022-06-18ShopRite always had good prices and deals. They have almost everything you need. Parking here is easy and there are always shopping carts stocked.

2022-02-26Shoprite is definitely the place. Prices are right, always busy, yet I always get out with no problems and manage to get on a line that keep moving. Of course because its so popular, most of the products go fast, so if you are not an early bird, you will have to wait a day or two before they restock. Like I said its my store to shop.

2021-08-24Curbside Pick-up! (aka ShopRite from Home) They just made this available this week and it’s a much more convenient system than at the New Rochelle ShopRite. Parking for this is in the CVS parking area with specific signs. Once you park you just text their # and say your spot # and they bring everything in bags right out to your car. Fast, easy, and convenient! Would highly recommend!!

2022-04-26Amazing! It has so much of everything. Its much bigger than a general super market. And the price is good. Vegetables and fruits are fresh and reasonable.

2022-04-04I went to shoprite last night after not been there in a year and Ive got to say, Im TERRIBLY disappointed! Shoprite use to be my spot. I went ALL the time. Since covid, I slowed down bc alot of the stuff I use to get, suddenly wouldnt be in stock. But last night...WOW! The produce section was horrible. Greens wilted, ginger rotted, potatoes black (loose ones) and dont get me started on the prices. I shop primarily organic. A small 8oz bag of walnuts 13.99 wth! Used to be 8.99 or so. I mean, I get foods are much more expensive now but it was ridiculous. Plus alot of things I couldnt find. Super disappointed! I dont know if I want to go back!

2022-02-20I love shopping here at this particular store. The staff is cool and down to earth so you arent afraid to ask for help. And when you do ask for help, they always point you in the right direction. If they dont know where something is, they will gladly ask someone who does or help you find it themselves. I moved to Yonkers less than 2 years ago and have been going here or sending my husband here at least 3 times a week. We go here so much I convinced my husband to get a job there so he could just bring the food home after work... You know, so he at least gets paid for as often as I have him in there lol. I love it here. I even know some of the workers by face and name and vice versa.

2022-04-08This location shouldnt even have the shop from home option. Every single time I use this service they wait until Im there to pick to let me know they dont have items Ive ordered. Its not that they dont have the items they just arent looking for them. I go in the store every single time after pick up and find the items they claim to not have. Defeats the purpose of using the app.
