Large market. Easy parking.Good of products Update 2/8,/22The store is so well provisioned easy to park and friendly employees to help you. I downgrade the store now to a two star because out of 15 possible cash registers to service outgoing clients only four were active. Its a disgrace to have people waiting 20 to 40 minutes to check out of the store. If this is the new ShopRite way of helping its customers I suggest people shop elsewhere. Hi my last visit I noticed that there were more cashiers. It was a definite improvement so obviously somebody did read the review I posted and acted in a positive manner.

WORST supermarket in New Rochelle. They need new management. No one seems to know where anything is and there is never anyone available to help on the sales floor and dont even dare ask an employee they will give you attitude overall terrible customer service. Keep coming back because of the huge selection but its ridiculous. No paying customer should have to endure this, especially when Stop & Shop is right down the street!
Most check out counters will have a courtesy card for the staff to apply the discounts if the customer has forgotten the card. Not here. Very poor customer service . Not sure why. I wont shop here again.
This amazing employee Christina, that works at the deli department is such a high spirited person! Everytime I come in she is always so welcoming! She is very respectful and helpful! She deserves a raise!
Love this Shoprite. Has everything. Deli, bakery, fresh fish, Asian buffet, olive/cheese section, floral section, lottery, 5 gallon water kiosk. Never had a problem with customer service. Self service check out counters. The additional stores at this location closed down (only a barber shop as of this writing) so they seem to be in a bit of a renovation stage. Liquor store next door. And Popeyes on the other side of the parking lot. One stop shopping!

I love this ShopRite! They have such a great selection of items, a dedicated health nut aisle (gluten free, keto, etc), and great produce. The prices are reasonable and theres always a sale or discount on something. Make sure you sign up for their membership card! Just know, the parking lot is your typical parking lot and is not part of the store, haha.
I visited this supermarket today for the first time with my family. Theres a large variety of products in every department; very nice, clean and orderly, and many visible employees working diligently. This store reminds me of what a supermarket used to be in the early days of the 1960s thru 1980s, upscale with good service. The prices are fair if you get whats on sale; food looks fresh with baked goods done on the premises and hot food,too.Overall, its a nice place to shop once in awhile, away from my usual Stop and Shop in the Bronx. Oh, the fried chicken tray I purchased (8 pieces) was not very tasty, I like the one from stop and shop, much juicier and tasty.
Always clean, good prices and solid selectionEdit March 30 2022, The Wednesday deal on sushi is now $5.99, not $5! Its now $6 sushi, so its not worth it anymore, just go to your nearest sushi place and get a lunch or dinner special with like a third roll, more variety, and sides, for the same price
Ample parking. Good deli and daily hot food section. Dry cleaner and cell repair shop are housed in the same building.
Great selection of products. The prices are better when compared to other supermarkets in the area. They have a lot of meatless products, dairy free milks and yogurts and also more ice cream varieties than other places. Friends who eat meat told me their meat selection is also good.
Great location, huge store, wide array of products. My biggest complaint is the filthy bathroom, no matter what time of day its always filthy. I wont gross everyone out by being explicit but it was bad.
I found just about everything I was looking for. The store wasnt very crowded and the aisles were well stocked for a Monday evening.They are stocking a different brand of frozen gyro meat that is overpriced for what you get. The meat slices are very thick. I dont like the one they stock now.I much prefer the previous brand that was packaged in a resealable bag in the frozen snack section next to the beer. They had beef or chicken and the slices were thin like when they slice it off a rotating spit in a Greek place. This makes the homemade gyro feel more authentic.😉I hope they bring back the other brand. 🙄
Good supermarket. Decent enough staff. Looks clean and smells clean. The Japanese sushi and sashimi area is delicious, and the people who run it are the nicest people in the whole store!! Only criticism, they need more produce options.
I went there to get some stuff but forget to download the digital coupon. ShopRite work with the older foes and send these digital coupon to our cards. That would be so nice. Because a lot of us are not computer savvy and just dont know how to go about this digital coupon. However, I am returning the stuff and asked someone to show or help me download the digital coupon. I need every penny I could get back from the sales. Thanks ShopRite. Still waiting for the deck chairs.

My mom and I went in to use the change to dollar machine. Midway through, the machine stopped working. Workers Tami and Natasha came to the rescue! They quickly and efficiently assessed and resolved the situation. They were super friendly and helpful. Thanks again!
I love my New Rochelle Shoprite & all who work there.Lately the bakery dept never have the small loavesof rye bread with seeds its agreat product I think your not making enough Doesnt matter what time of day I go no small whole loaf of rye with seeds. Please see if this can be corrected.
Nice people working there, kinda crowded parking lot but its two days before Thanksgiving so Ill forgive them that. Lots of decent sales and prices.
This is an excellent supermarket. Well stocked, very fresh veggies and fruits. Though I didnt buy the meats looked good. Biggest plus is that there were lower prices here than where I normally shop. Will definitely make this a regular stop when I shop.
I enjoy going to this ShopRite. Workers are friendly and helpful. The inside is well lit. Lots of parking. They always seem to have plenty of the sale items. Only reason that I will give them 4 stars is because they sometimes seem to be lacking in shopping carts.
By far one of the best Shoprites in the area! Huge location with plenty of options and even has a liquor store next door which is a huge plus! Always try to stop in for any needs anytime I’m in the area!
A very full market, there are products in the store I cant find in other places. It does get busy during certain times of the week and the weekends. Checkout is usually quick.
Most of the workers at this store location is very unprofessional. I have been going to shop rite of New Rochelle over a year and a half. I have seen some changes in the rudeness and how things are handled at a customer service level. Every time I go there I am being accused of having not enough money to pay for my food. When I used to go on the check out line I was being double charged for items. A basket that would ring up 75 dollars would be rung up to 120. I have had asset protection approach me on numerous occasions, the first time my card had an error as I stepped away, the workers began to put my food back, as if there were no other carts just sitting around. Another time was when the cashiers seen my son playing with something, as a mother pulling the cart I can not see what he may have picked up. Instead of the worker mentioning my son picked something up in his hand, they had asset protection run after me. This last time the managers and workers seen me in the store for about a good 2 hours. The front end manager waits until I ring half my cart up to tell assets protection I can not buy anything from the store. He also called the POLICE on me while I have my 2 younger children. I have worked at shoprite for 3 years in the past, I know for a fact that there should be way better customer service that what is given.The fact that my son had broke a bag of rice, I can understand If I broke the bag and damaged the 10 dollar bag of rice. Even if I was told do not come back with the children would be more understandable, How do I get banned from a store and I did nothing besides be a GREAT customer and continuously shop? Is that considered harassment, I did not do anything?
Good selection of brands at good prices. Always crowded but always has most cashier lines open. Stocked the fridge!
Really liked their order from home pickup at store feature. Pretty easy. Only issue, there was no marked parking per website, and no signage in store where to go. But, nice feature.

Would be zero stars if I could. Booked a pick up time slot for 7 p.m. on 12/23; drove a half hour, got there, and was told (after the person before me was told the same thing) that they hadnt even started my order, and I should come back tomorrow (on Christmas Eve). Not particularly apologetic, though I did feel bad for the person working in the pickup department, as she clearly didnt have much help. Not fair to do to her, and not fair to do to customers, especially when people are making conscious efforts to utilize these so called services to stay out of crowded places. Called the manager who couldnt have cared less. Awful place.
This is one of my favorite supermarkets. It’s a large store, so they have a lot of different food items to choose from. They also have an amazing bakery that makes beautiful cakes. Plus their sushi and Asian buffet area are super clean and fresh.
Store is nice. Service sucks always busy. Never have enough lines open. Only go in the morning hours.

Very well managed store which is Always extremely busy.All departments have staff which ensure the best customer service at all times.Unlike other retail outlets, the managers here, mostly women, are always circulating and problem solving/preventing.Kudos to all at this much needed and utilized (community supported) store.Thank You.

I went during an early Friday afternoon. Quite pleasant. Staff was helpful with my inquiries; which made shopping a breeze. Will certainly make more visits to this store.
It wasnt crowded and we had the nicest cashier Her name is Natalie. She was very nice and greeting us and she explained everything about our savings and coupons even about our wic.I was very happy with her company at the register.
This Shoprite is now my go to..I live in north east Bronx and will continue to travel to this shoprite. I believe its the best one in the surrounding area.
I always go grocery shopping here they have coupons and great deals. If you don’t want to carry all the coupons they also have a shop rite app you can you clip the the coupons right from your phone just scan your shop right card at the register. They also have a huge parking free area. The aisles are very spacious. Every time I shop here they always have great deals on the bottled water, and to make your shopping faster they also have self check out.
This my first visit (2pm on Tuesday) was a wonderful experience. I was pleasantly surprised to see such a wide variety of items and such wide isles making them easy to maneuver. Checking out was a breeze with ample cashiers and short lines. I will revisit this store even though its location is not close to me.

We were visiting from Central NY & needed breakfast foods to bring to a friends house. It was a clean, nice place. Had some prepared foods to go (like yogurt parfaits & fruit/veggie salads). Nice selection of Chobani yogurts! Bakery seemed OK. Bagels were OK. Things were stocked & well marked. Decent prices..esp if youre a ShopRite member. But, for quality of food & selection you cant beat Wegmans! (which we have where we live)
This shoprite is by far the best one Ive visited. They have the best meats staff is friendly. If something is in sale but for some reason they run out before the sale is over, you can always get a rain check. Lots of parking, only down side is as of late the lines have been getting rather long , other than that it is fine.
A little out of my way but ALWAYS worth it. Great savings because I try to shop by sales so I can justify a spurge buy. This trip it was 7.99 a lb for thin cut with alot of meat oxtails. I bought 2 packages but they were beautiful. I bought a whole boneless pork loin for 99 cents a lb. I learned to it breakdown on youtube watching a few videos. Shopping smart makes me feel good. Cooking for my family makes me feel fabulous.
Lots of parking, lots of options, and has some decent prices. Also has a salon and dry cleaners inside, I havent personally gone to either the dry cleaners or salon inside but they seem decent.
This ShopRite is really big, like BIG. But for me, it was a little all over the place and overwhelming. I had to circle aisles more than once because there was just so much going on. Prices are fair in my opinion. Staff unfortunately did have an attitude and were not very helpful. Especially since whenever I asked a question it would come with a sigh and the words I dont know. But I can look past that. Overall not the worst experience Ive had grocery shopping.
Very clean supermarket with good sale prices. The patron ahead of me left to return to her car after paying but forgot several of her items. After the cashier quickly rang my few items up, she ran after that patron to give her the items she forgot (there was no one in line behind me). I appreciated that she went the extra mile for that customer

This place is way to crowded. I went on a Monday and found zero handicapped spaces available and it was super crowded. Not coming near here on a weekend. I’m not crazy about the layout either. It’s odd each store is set up differently. The veggie section is pretty weak. There was no broccoli! I mean really no broccoli??On the flip side it’s very clean and the prepared foods, deli, seafood and butcher sections look really good.Oh one more thing. Parking lot is on a slope, so hold on to your car cause I was packing my trunk with my groceries and my empty cart too off and right into a parked car.
The deli dept. dropped the ball on an order that was placed with them. However, both the Deli Manager and the Store Manager did their best to compensate us for their error.A few of the workers in the deli were quiet and worked hard to prepare our order, but there were a few others that bickered with each other. Despite the fact that customers were present and could both hear and see their interactions, they continued to bicker. We found this very unprofessional and disrespectful.Had the deli manager not been there working hard on our order, we probably would not have stayed and waited an hour for them to prepare our order.
This is the Only store I shop for my needs!! Great choices of everything. All fresh, great hit good buffet, excellent pet needs aisle, Wonderful Pharmacy, with very lovely staff. Clean and always fully stocked!! Produce is outstanding and very reasonably priced!!

Prices are good, better than Stop & Shop. Fruits and vegetables are always fresh, they make their own bread, they always have a lot of people at the deli counter so it moves. GREAT SALES! Ive had only positive experiences when asking the staff for help. The crowd fluctuates depending on the time if the day, they should have other employees that can open additional cashiers during the crowded times.I come here often.
Absolutely enormous store with a wide variety of products including bakery, deli counter, and gourmet cheese. Pharmacy on site. Large selection of beauty and bath products as well as seasonal items.Staff are attentive and friendly.The store gets crowded, but manage.ent keeps many registers open and a self checkout area was recently addedPlenty of parking available.
Clean as usual; just the lines got back crazy after COVID finished. Wished they’d keep the line system. Was much faster.
One of my favorite supermarkets to go to if I am looking for a large variety of items or weird ingredients. I always tend to find different interesting fruits and vegetables that I dont see in many other markets. They have a huge selection of items and if you go during a good sale some items are very reasonably priced. They have a good selection of different chips as well as ice cream. The employees are usually pretty friendly and the line goes fairly quickly. It is a huge store and you can pretty much find anything there. Although the parking lot is huge it gets really busy and can often be hard to find parking especially on the weekends. He also have a huge selection of cakes, flowers, prepackaged food and other things. Overall one of my favorite supermarkets. Also has a Goodwill thrift store as well as a liquor store and soon-to-be Popeyes in the same parking lot. If it was closer I would shop there more often.

I really like this place it has a spacious layout.It also has a large variety of items .I think their florist section beats any florist in the area. It is the star attraction as they have awesome deals for Valentines, Mother’s Day, etc.The bakery area is good too as I luv me some brioche toast in the morning with my coffee.Nathan
The store is well maintained, produce and meat and fish areas appear freshly stocked. Employees helpful when you ask a question. Customer service can have a long line but always helpful after the wait. Cashiers friendly and prompt.

This place is falling off recently. They used to always have the shelves stocked with plenty of items that were listed on sale in stock. Now you go on the first day of the sale and they dont have anything shelves half bare store dirty. Multiple talks with management has resulted in zero effect. explain to me how you go on the first day of an item being on sale and they dont have it in stock.
ShopRite of New Rochelle is a great supermarket that has great options all throughout. From 100% grass-fed meats to organic produce to common household items, etc, you will be able to find pretty much all you need here.Unlike many other supermarkets, this Shop Rite also has fair prices throughout the entire store and great items to find. They even have a bakery and bake their goods on-site. Pretty much all of the baked goods taste good. And, if you ever find yourself in a rush and youre hungry, you can pick up a rotisserie chicken for $4.99 thats comparable to Costco Wholesale or BJs Wholesale.This ShopRite can tend to get busy at certain times (it is usually most calm at night), but thankfully there are a couple self-checkout machines and plenty of checkout lines to expedite the process. No frustration here whatsoever!
This is my fourth ShopRite...and its...meh. Im disappointed. The produce was not fresh and the meat selection was...sub par. Not sure if the bad weather had anything to do with it...and I was just getting leftovers from a mad dash to stock up...but I was not impressed. I did leave with a lot more water...seems to be the best deal out there. Plenty of parking...clean...well lit...wide aisles...and oh...right next door is a wine and liquor store with pretty good prices.
This is my favorite supermarket in New York! They always have great sales, the store is well stocked. I also find the cashiers to often be very helpful and friendly. The sale items are available, I never have to get rainchecks. My only real complaints are the ladies restroom,it needs a complete remodel and they could use more scooters for the disabled to use. Great supermarket!
Plenty of parking spaces, cashiers are pleasant and the place is big enough that people dont have to squeeze through the isle. Big and bright. Customer service dept needs to improve a bit. Too long of a wait. They dont seem to know answers to customers questions.

Big store with plenty of space, for me to move around, which I like. good stock on food most of the time. Customer service is fine. Some cashiers need to smile and be more customer friendly. Its better than Tuckahoe, and Scarsdale.
I have always told folks that,shop,rite,had the best cashiers. Thought they did wonderful job training. Always friendly and polite.Not today!! Terrible experience. Not at all friendly nor attentive. Chewed gum like it was,the only thing s bccce had to eat., I personally think that employees should be told that gun chewing is not allowed. Looks very cheap.Didnt have many things but took forever.For the first time Shoprite left a bad taste.What a shame

They have it all and they have it well stocked organized and efficient. Follow the floor signs to flow along the aisles without disrupting the order and you will be pleasantly surprised how quick your experience will be.
My go to place for meat as the sales are usually good on desirable cuts. Sausages rank up there with Teitel Bros. and Ive never gotten a bad steak. Produce is decent. Cheese selection needs help.

Love that there’s basically anything and everything I could possibly need . If you are able to go when it’s not to crowded and aren’t being rushed you can appreciate the numerous varieties of options you have. On the other hand because of the size of the store and vast variety, I often find myself losing the majority of my day here. If I don’t either have someone with me to stay on course or set some sort of timer to keep me on track

Disappointed first time. Went to meat department was so rude. Told me too busy come back in one hour. Young lady overheard while she was working. Spoke to other butcher and he told me to wait 5minutes. I was very thankful and told her .At checkout the check out person not nice. The register receipt so lite I couldn’t read it. He was mixing my order with the person in front of me.. So disappointed . I live in the Bronx and am a senior. Great full when a friend drives me. I was looking for Hellsmans drizzle New. Place is a bit shady at night. Man and a woman were about to brawl in the front entrance, I didnt stay around to watch it go down. Prices are good, some workers are friendly. Items that you dont find at other places.
What do I like about this Shoprite?1. They sell Rockland bagels which is a good quality bagel.2. During Superbowl week they were selling barbecue wings in small bucket containers. Quality of these wings were better then some restaurants that I have been to. Sauce was good and meat was lean not fatty like many store bought wings are.3. In the fall they were selling apple pies with walnuts which for a store pie was of good quality.4. On valentines day they were selling chocolate dipped strawberries. The strawberries were a nice size and the chocolate was of good quality. These were sold in a special stall where the strawberries were packed as each customer ordered them according to the quantity they wanted. The later was a great holiday special that I wouldnt have expected of Stop & Shop or other chains.5. Recently they just added a self check section that has about 8 registers. For the times that I have been there I never had to wait for a register , just a great addition to make checking out more convenient.6. Their flier coupons offer some excellent deals.
I love shopping here at ShopRite in New Rochelle I come all the way from the Bronx to shop here because the prices are great the rain checks are great they always are the rain checks they always out of my coupons and if they dont have the item in stock I can always get a rain check and get it whenever they have it in stock. The people at the courtesy desk or very very courteous and with the exception of one of the floor managers that has a bad bad attitude overall all the other employees are great in the store.

On Dec 27 I bought a bag of whole wheat flour with the refund money from recycling bottles, the cashier instead of charging me the difference that was under $1 dollar, charged me $191 and change. Who would think something like that would happen?
Grocery cost 5 stars. Fruits and veggies hit or miss. I often go in and they are completely out of key items (romaine lettuce, etc). Doable....the thing that really knocked it down was checkout. Its typically a 45 min wait. Seems like they dont have enough staff and people also hold up lines with coupons. If they added a couple check out people it make a huge difference!
Parking is big. But people drive like maniacs. You need to pay attention when u walk or u risk getting hit by a car. Prices are good. But very confusing how the store is set up
I love this place as it has amazing variety and is always stocked, but why I love it so much is there hours. They are the latest open grocery store in New Rochelle I believe. That is why I give them 5 stars, Ive been there past 12am to 2am more than I have before then.
Large, with a good supermarket selection. However the layout is somewhat disorganized, with similar products scattered around the store in overlapping categories, and they seem to have a policy of keeping approximately two fewer people on duty than needed at all times, so expect a wait at checkout.
The place is clean, the food is fresh, the people are courteous, its not overcrowded, and the prices are very good, well stocked!! Love their Meat department!! And the organic foods.
Great location and my preferred location for sopping. They have everything, including some gourmet products, and their Bakery department is a place i can easily but everything they have!They can do something about the meat section, that sometime smell so bad that i wonder if to purchase my meat here will be a wise decision...
Great store, just check your receipt before you leave, especially if you have your order delivered. We ALWAYS have at least one mistake when we have a delivery. Delivery price is also a bit high, especially considering the number of mistakes we have to deal with.
Nice and clean. And the young lady at the register was so help and polite, Im sorry I didnt get her name because people like her make a difference. Thank you and I definitely will be going back.
I love shopping here! The staff is professional, shelves are always stocked and the fruits and vegetables are always fresh. They have a good variety of organics and they use local farmers, this is huge in my book.

Like a tamed Costco. You can get almost all of your necessities. There is plenty of parking space and the store is big, but not overwhelming. It is categorized well, which makes for a seamless shopping experience
Recently worked there. Managers are horrible. I was recently sick and didn’t show up for 2 days went back the next day and got my write up. One of the managers named yuri had the nerve to say “we all get sick, that’s no excuse to not show up and call out , I’ve been sick too and I’ve never called out”. I personally think that’s unprofessional. We all have different types of symptoms when we get sick. I wasn’t allowed to leave till I ended up throwing up about 3-4 times and yuri told a runner to tell me to just go home. I had another manager named lakia who had the nerve to ask for my social security which is one of the reasons i had to quit. I even told a store manager with her in the room and she laughed and denied everything. Every time I was by myself and closed she’d let other coworkers talk and fool around while I’d be the only one scanning with a line. Until one day I said can you have someone open up? She laughed and I said you think it’s funny like you asked for my social? She laughed again and said “I sure did and no one is ever going to believe you”. Me feeling uncomfortable i wanted to change my availability to 10 instead of 12am because she always closed . I wasn’t allowed to change so I had to quit. Looks are very deceiving. Worked there for a year and 4 months. Longest job I’ve been in. I really loved it too. I loved my regular costumers that would come to me. I loved scanning. But I couldn’t go back to a job that made me feel so uncomfortable. I’m sorry but I have to give this store a 1 star rating.
Better than most. Great deals. Covid lines are insane. Be prepared to wait 30 min to check out or just go to self checkout
This is the store I like to shop at most. They offer wonderful sales each and every week. With the flyer coupons you can save even more, which is what a smart shopper does.
Great prices. The organic foods selection is still small but growing. The quality of the produce could improve. The location also had a Chase bank, barber shop and Boost mobile. Right next door is a discount liqour warehouse.
Went there for a quick minute to get Chef El Amins tuna Soul salad, Progresso soups on sale for a buck apiece best time to go there is in the evening Sundays after 7 p.m. or weekdays after 9 p.m. clean well-stocked store

The u scan was disgusting it took me 45 min to get out there every item the light was turn on and I need walk to the register call the cashier like million times .There was no bags I ask for it she bring one single paper bag with $250 grocery.That first time I shop there and the last one .
It was extremely busy (1st of the month checks + tax returns) so the place was packed. Thankfully they have self checkout and that had us only waiting the max 5 mins on line versus being on a line that was curving passed other lanes.
This place is disgusting the sale started Sunday I went today Monday the sale items for the meat products are still not out they have all the old meet with the old prices on the meat department is horrible and I should have drove to the one in Scarsdale dont waste your time here
Staff are all so nice and helpful.John the Manager is great! Always approachable for a question as he goes through the store making sure things are running smoothly.....and always with a smile!
I spent $182.65 and Michael, the cashier, watched me bag every piece of my order! Never said a word from start to finish! He never even attempted to bag any of my groceries. He also did not take off all my coupons and never thank me!Shop Rite has gone downhill! Time to checkout Stop and Shop down the street!
An employee all but cursed me and my girlfriend out for not scanning all of our items in time for closing. We kept the other employees in the store for about 15 minutes after closing and this woman starts yelling about karma and it was incredibly uncomfortable and rude.
Widest variety and best stocked supermarket in the area. Prices are good as well. Can be congested, but usually worth the effort. Also, they do not try to make you do your own checkout!
We order and pick up. They can be a bit disorganized and leave things lying around and unsupervised. Its a convenient service though and none of my food has been stolen
Today was Good..small lines..sometimesLines r long..prices r good there...the AsianBuffet is good..serve Hot Dogs lots of days& some proceeds go 2 charities which is great!! GREAT Some has gone 2 Vets,Children Hospitals etc. Good Place 4 a.hot dog or 2.
I love supermarkets and this isnt anything special for me. Nothing really stands out but Ive only been there about 4 or 5 times so maybe if I went more often id have a better opinion. Overall, a good store, they have a large variety of items and the staff is friendly.
It was clear in the parking lot to go around to the back of the building to get to shoprite home shopping but it worked out ok . Employees were very helpful, friendly and courteous.! I was in and out with my groceries. Ill definitely do this all the time. Got ALOT for my money too. GREAT PRICES!!!
Im not the greatest fan but its always clean with plenty of parking with an adjoining liquor store n goodwill. I mean they sell dipsey doodles and I was addicted to that for a while so shoprite was my supplier.
Larger varity of selections to choose from than Stop&Shop. Always open till 12 midnight. Rusted chickens are always $4.95. Unfortunately, pricing is always cheaper than Stop & Shop; and I like Stop & Shop.
This was our first time at Shoprite, it was an eye opener for us,the quality of the meats and produce, displayed so you were drawn into wanting them.The way the store presents its self to the customer as you walk around the displays, it is such an outstanding eye catching way, to display all that and variety plus.We will make this our place to shop for all our food delights.
I really enjoyed shopping at this shoprite supermarket. The selection of items are good. The prices are reasonable. The food quality is very good and above all the meats are fresh. And not to mention the staff here is very helpful and courteous.
Great store. All the people who criticize the manager are trying to rip off the store and she would not allow it. I saw one lady show fake id to get a check cashed and was insulted when the manager said no. Dont believe the crooks who criticize the people who are very pleasant and professional. Store is clean and always stocked properly.

Highly competitive with lower prices than the Stop & Shop just a block away, always plenty of parking Pennsylvania other services nearby and within the supermarket itself, almost everything to complete your shopping trip in one stop and pick up your wine and spirits right next door.
I use their personal shoppers. I order online and pick up the next day. Convienent, and theyve been getting it right so far
This store has most everything, and a a huge produce department. The butcher will cut meat for you if not already out. They have yummy fish. Great yogurt selection!!!
Today it was a pleasure shopping at Shoprite, that is a rarity and not the norm. There were plenty of checkout lanes open and they also had express checkout lanes staffed. Most times I refuse to shop there due to over crowding and lack of staff for checkout. Avoid shopping there on weekends and late at night (thought I could avoid long lines if I shopped late at night but alas due to being understaffed lines are just as long ) so much for that! Good selection of items, if you have the time for shopping, this is your place, if youre in a hurry consider other options.
Inside New Rochelle store last week were NUMEROUS announcement about a change in hours for the store Open at 7AM. But from 6AM store will be open for seniors. Went there today at 6AM. Store not open. Opened at 7AM with at least 100 seniors expecting to be let in at 6AM standing on line in the cold parking lot. What happened????People will remember poor treatment when this crisis is over
I use the shoprite from home in-store pick up service. Its usually fine but for fresh food like fruits and vegetables there can be a lot of bruising/bad pieces. Overall still a great service.
Best super market Ive ever been in. So big, large variety of hot food, fresh cold cuts, fresh vegitables and salads and breads. Fresh nuts and candies. Fresh fish, and the cuts of meat are great. Anything you want they have.
Usually crowded but you get the best bang for your buck
Everyone was very helpful. They now have more self checkout registers.so I didnt have a long wait even though I went on a Sunday. They always have great sales.

Parking is plenty and underground a plus. Selection good However not accommodating to the disabled. Wheelchair keys can only be gotten from customer service on the other side of the store. I was on crutches and needed a chair in order to shop. I went in the entrance where the chairs were to only be told I would have to go to the other end of the store and leave my drivers license in order to get a key. I hobbled with my crutches to do this and then back again to the chairs I then had to repeat this when done with shopping. I spoke with the manager who said something will be done to better accommodate the disabled. That was four years ago. As of date, this remedys has yet been accomplished.
I will admit that I am not used to the big crowds that they have at this place I come from Orange county and going here is like being in the city again dot-dot-dot the stores clean looks nice well-organized and the staff is helpful when you can find them dot-dot. I just cant get used to the crowds again.

There was loads of moldy bread in the bakery case that would normally be self serve, I told the manager and even though he wasnt rude, it felt like he was more annoyed that I interrupted him than about the spoiled food.
Kayala was our checkout person and she was excellent. My mom is a senior citizen and Kayala was so patient and pleasant. She opened up extra bags because my mom insisted on helping her bag, but couldnt open them.

Great quality, deals, and selection. Lines are often a problem, as is parking, and it often feels as though additional staffing would help both problems. During the busiest times, this can add 10-15 minutes to your shopping trip.

Fairly decently priced huge place they have everything you could need and their gluten free section is pretty sweet. They have hot food and fresh looking sushi.

Cashiers are always friendly and respectful. They are also the only store Ive been able to find La Banderita tortillas on a regular basis. Their selection of international and domestic foods are usually pretty good.

Just had one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered. We ordered a home delivery from this store, but the store missed the initial window to deliver, a second confirmed later window and then a third confirmed window the following day. We called to complain and speak to the manager named Shawana. After explaining what happened and asking for a refund, she hung up on us. Avoid this store, and especially the home delivery service, at all possible costs.
LOVE this supermarket. Always clean and fresh huge variety on every food item possible and to have the pharmacy with a Chase bank on the premises save time and energy for other important things.
The sales are everything now. I use to hate shoprite because they were expensive but over the years they have changed. What i enjoy most is the unexpected house hold items sales. Patio chairs fans even socks. this particular one has a hair salon in it that I frequent. I found Estars Salon on groupon and every time I go there I end up buying something for the house because some deals are just to good to pass up

I love this store its one stop shopping, it has everything you need. Nice sales ,vegetables and fruits are fresh, the store is nice and clean. As you as walk in if you are a lottery player its there.
Comparing to the other Shoprite supermarket this one is poor display of produce and product. The displays look bad,inside the store is dark it needs a makeover. The only good thing about this store the customer service is great.
Large parking lot. Very organized store. Great bakery. They sell beer and wine and they have a bank a barbershop and a cleaners. I like! I will be back.
Sales are always amazing, but shopping right before the weekend is so peaceful. Thank you shoprite for having every item from the coupon section. Barely ever do I need a raincheck.
The parking lot is usually full, they always have long lines and no self-check out counters. As long as you have patience to shop here, the prices are good especially when it’s time for the can-can sale!
Parking after 5 and during weekends is a challenge even more so lately that a section of the lot is under construction. But, the prices are competitive, the market is clean and organized and their cakes (baked in house) are the best, I have tasted so far in New Rochelle.
Pick up couldnt be smoother, separate entrance where staff were friendly and helpful. Will be returning and thankful for such a seamless process

This review is based off of the customer service at this shop rite. Came shopping around 11 p.m. and went to cash out there were only 3 registers open with a crowd of at least 70 ppl. Everyone asked the manager on duty if he could open any additional registers. His attitude and tone was not only rude but short with all the customers. He could not care less. Ppl started leave the store without buying groceries . If this is a peak shopping time it would make more sense to have more ppl on the registers. Even if that isnt a possibility attitude is not needed or warranted in any situation. This is not the first time that I have seen this type of behavior at shop rite . I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Prices in New Rochelle, that I noticed, are cheaper than in the Bronx. For instance, Nestlé water is $1.19 in New Rochelle but in in the Bronx location it is $1.39.Another example is the Hanes masks, 10 pack. $14.99 in New Rochelle while the other store is 16.99. Other than the price differences, I like the supermarkets for the variety and when there are sales.
This supermarket is always so clean, organized and well filled with stock.
Got there about 10 PM. Closes at 12.. Lots of stuff already being put away. Low supplies on a few things.

This store has a staff of professionals. If theres an item that has ran out, someone will graciously check the stock room for the item. They will offer a raincheck for the item, if it has sold out.
I love Shop rite. Its clean and friendly. Before Covid they had nutrition classes. Very health-centered....
My wife likes Shop Rite. They usually always have Haagen-Dazs ice cream on sale. But they went up to $5. So I wasnt too happy with the trip

Having worked here at ShopRite although only for a brief period.I truly have to say that what is going on in the back of the house is truly a great reflection of what goes on in the front of the house.organized,clean,and a great environment.I still shop here at least 3 times a week.
Big supermarket, lots of options and always has great sales. There is a Pharmacy, cleaners, Chase bank, hair salon and a cell phone place all within the store, and right next to it is a liquor store to stock up for the weekend.
This is getting to be one of the worst store I been coming here since day one over the years its been declining to one of the worse levels..Yes the prices are cheaper than stop & shop where I was going before here.just let me say this the manager they have now should not be in this store, waiting in line for half hour the lines were long people were getting on edge she opens a register not to say next on line a lady walks right up and started cursing at other people...I rather go back to stop & shop pay a little more and dont have to put up with this store its getting to ghetto.
Whatever u need they have....Whatever u forgot about they have...a true lets go broke shopping experience...well worth it !!!
This ShopRite is the best one hands down. Alway clean, has a excellent selection of groceries and food, and they provide the best customer service.

2022-05-12I used to really like ordering food from home to get delivered from Shoprite in New Rochelle. I recently tried again after a long break as I have been getting help to go shop in person which I can’t always do. There has been a lot of changes with this stores delivery process. I had the worst experience with more than 20items that were missing from my order.. It all got so confusing & I had to have them redeliver and still had so many missing items. Took me a long time to go through all the missing items. I was then credited an amount which is still incorrect as I wasn’t credited for all the missing items. It was exhausting and time consuming. This stores home delivery is now using outside delivery services and it’s very unorganized. No one in particular is to blame. Just be aware that if you order a decent sized Food delivery you will be dealing with many issues. Not happy this time at all.

2022-03-30Best Shoprite Store in Westchester! Clean open store layout with an abundance of food items as well as novelty items. My husband and I love this store and will travel from White Plains to get there. They even make store baked bread pudding that is beyond delicious! Avoid the bakery if your hungry, very tempting display of cakes, pies, cookies and other sweet delicacies😋. I think well have to make the trek twice a month just because this store makes food shopping for us pleasant and easy. They dont charge for Brown bags either👍👍...Thank You!

2022-03-22Huge store, well stocked though there are some shortages due to transport issues. Helpful staff. Check the store website for digital coupons that are added to your loyalty card. Check out is a bit slow.

2021-02-02Firstly, I hope this experience never happens again! I usually have nothing bad to say about this particular location, but as you can see this day it was absolutely repulsive in the meat section. I couldnt believe my eyes. I took a few pics and I was out of there. I didnt want anything from the meat section, deli, or anything else they could have packed. It seemed like they were restocking and short staffed but I dont think theres a valid enough excuse to leave that meat section like that. I feel sick just writing about it. Please do better, be better, and quickly address it.

2022-04-09Customer Service never answers the phone. It rings and rings. I font love anywhere near the store and beed to know if an item is in stock before I travel there and waste time and gas. But no andwer after calling gor 3 days!!!

2022-02-10Always clean and reasonably priced although recently the chicken products are a bit scarce and while I dont eat red meat, (beef/pork) that was scarce as well. Whats really good? Honestly, things are bad right now.
