They never get anything right when you choose home delivery....either something is missing, they replace an item with another item when you specifically state NO SUBSTITUTIONS, or they send you rotten strawberries (ironically organic strawberries that cost 3 times as much as the ones you ordered, and half of them are rotten! ) Although they issue refunds, the aggravation is too much...I have to keep calling customer service, and I am getting tired of doing that! Will they EVER get it right???
Hi, waiting on line to enter is ok, have most things in stock and aisle are wide enough keep distance, pretty organized wait to checkout. Will keep coming every 2weeks to this location able to get needed produce, meat, diary. Most paper products buy online. Most people aware wear masks, keep distance and are kind. To all may have a good chance to make it through this journey were all facing. Know that you are not alone.Take care will get through this together. #betterdays #livesimply #learning #collaborating #startaconversation #solutions #Saluting1stResponders
I have been a devoted ShopRite customer for over fifty years! I’ve enjoyed watching the company grow and certainly during the height of the Coronavirus, I was grateful for their extended hours and the special times for senior citizens to shop. However I am writing today because I was startled to see that in addition to the New York State law of charging 5 Cents for a paper bag, ShopRite also adds an ADDITIONAL TEN Cent charge for each paper bag!For years, ShopRite would provide paper bags at no charge since it was clearly included in the costs of shopping in their stores. I’ve done some research and I’m very disappointed that while ShopRite adds thus charge, other supermarkets including Stop& Shop do not charge any additional fees for their paper bags. While thus is a minuscule charge, it certainly adds up and I’m guessing most customers are g going to complain, however, I think this is an outrageous way of “ quietly “ OVERCHARGING “ their customers!
Ended up walking out, wasting money on parking. They don’t have hand baskets and I was told I had to walk all the way across the store to get a cart. The only cart across the store had a whole bunch of garbage in it. How the hell am I supposed to do my shopping with nothing to put my groceries in?Don’t recommend at all
Very long line for cashiers today, probably because of the snow forecast, but it moved faster than expected. Theres always a staff person directing you to next available register. Sometimes hard to find sale items. There arent enough price scanners in the aisles, I waste a lot of time looking for one.
All the work is good museum its a very helpful and helping me find things that I needed 10 minutes time for me to check out the soap check out the lady working over there that people know she came over and give me a hand and help me I had a very good experience I also left myself and went back and they had already found it and had it in customer service and gave it to me
Affordable prices make this my supermarket of choice for weekly shopping trips. Always clean and well stocked. They sometimes dont have enough cashiers, creating longer waiting at check out than Id prefer. More attention to upkeep and emptying of recycling/redemption machines would be an improvement to my shopping experience but I realize that doesnt affect every customer.
I like this shoprite it has great hot food bars and salad. The store is also well stocked with a variety of great food items at reasonable prices. I think the can put a little time in keeping their sitting area cleaner and getting rid of those disgusting vinyl seating booths. They should try replacing them with fiberglass booth seat, the ones that are easy to clean and maintain.
This White-Plains based Shop-rite is one of the best in Westchester. Fresh produce, amazing bakery, a great line up of prime meats, are three big things to shop for while you are in White Plains. Also available are outstanding departments of fresh fish and deli meats. This plus very competitive prices makes this a must stop if you are in the area.
Great supermarket with a great selection of ethnic foods. Honestly the best selection of Spanish food that I have seen lately. As for the rest of the store there is a great selection of fruits vegetables and meat. The store is very bright and well maintained. It is very busy inside. You can park in the parking garage which is great especially on really cold days or when the is bad weather.
If you love ShopRite, youll feel right at home. I deducted a star because I got to the store at about 10 pm one evening and they closed one of their entrances and I had to walk what seemed like a half mile to the next entrance (it seems longer when your feet are already hurting). Other than that, everything was fine. Oh, I had to walk back that half a mile with my tired feet because thats where I parked.
It was a nice gesture to see Shoprite helping feed the community in need by providing shopping bags filled with Items which customers could pick up and pay at the register. Thankfully I looked in the bags. . Unfortunately, one of the bags when checked at the register was filled with bags of candy. The other bag I purchased was filled with onion soup mix. This is so unacceptable for a food market who surely for 6 dollars per shopping bag could add cereal, rice, soup cans or boxes of pasta instead of high fructose products or soup for a dip! Totally unacceptable!
The store is clean; with a decent produce section. I usually come here, when Im very early for a theatre screening. They do need to monitor the sit-in eating section tables more often; to ensure its cleanliness.I wrote this review to be helpful to you, the consumer; and, to also bring relevant things to the attention of the the business in focus. Great quality/high class groceries store located in the City Center complex- which boasts plenty of meter parking in attached structure. Have a wide variety of good food to offer including those fresh items on sale from on site bakery, deli, butcher & seafood counters. Helpful staff & huge selection with dependably good, ShopRite pricing.
Nice presentation on entrance, the produce, deli and cheese sections look very nice. But check the date on the prepackaged items in the produce/cheese section as I have brought some passed dated product. There is a small coffee section and tables to eat at so you can get a sandwich and eat it there. The workers i encountered for the most part seem pleasant and the prices are in line with other food store.
I like shopping here and the prices are very great for low income and middle class families. I wish that there was a bit more organic and natural foods like there are at stop and shop. I like shopping at both places. Whole foods have excellent food but the prices for most stuff are astronomical. You have to make a good salary or nearly be wealthy with little to no debt in order to shop there because shopping for a whole family there is like a mortgage or high rent. Anyways the food is good here at shoprite and it lasts me the whole month on less than $200 no matter how much healthy foods I buy.
There was someone at the door limiting people going in and they were exercising social distancing at the Registers, but the customers were not so it was frustrating that people were not waiting for others to walks about before going down a particular aisle or another. I think the store need to reduce the amount of people they let in even more.
A Committed Shopper.....Been going ever since they opened. Its my weekly grocery store, I choose over others.Tyrone at the deli is amazing....very friendly, remembers me, and knows just what I like for my cold cuts/cheese.Steve & Larry in seafood have always given great advice on the fish I choose, made great recommendations that Ive gone with and always gives me the freshest piece. I even tried fish, I probably would never have tried or bought. The butchers are very accommodating when asked to cut a certain meat, a certain way.Almost forgot friendly Joseph in dairy, if its not out, he is always willing to check in the back for it.In general most staff are always friendly and helpful when needed. THANK YOU!
I hate this store. Products are fine, its the self checkout. They allow people with carts full of food to use the self checkout. The line will snake almost to the back because of this. 4 self checkout registers, people with carts full of food. Oh and those people usually are the slowest, need the most help to scan and get prices. This needs to end. The clerks should have them go to regular check out line.
Im not sure if the manager knows what hes doing. Not enough open cashiers, cut fruit selection has been horrible the last 5 visits... rotten. Seafood department usually on point but the man I have never seen before was too busy cleaning to take my order....as I was walking away he decided he wanted to help me.....SMH....the deli department is good and so is the bakery
I have never had a bad experience at this store. They carry the types of products that I buy...a good assortment of wild caught fish/seafood, grass-fed beef/lamb, organic produce and dairy items, and the prices are far more reasonable than other supermarkets. The associates have been helpful when I needed assistance or a price. The one thing that is in short supply: Scanners for price checking throughout the store for customer use.
Its a really big supermarket with a great variety of interesting items. A bit weak on organics and healthy selections compared to Whole Foods. Youll find items with partially hydrogenated oils, high fructose corn syrup and bromated flour but if you are careful and selective there are many good items to choose from.

2022-01-11Large ShopRite at a great location, decent prices, with a nice hot & salad bar with good amount of seating to dine right there, making a day a great place for a quick and cheap meal at City Place. They have decent chicken sandwich and eggplant/chicken/meat parmesan sandwiches at 2 for $7 which is a nice deal. They also have soups, meats and chicken cooked in different ways, salads etc.

2022-03-24I love the size of this location and the fairly wide aisles. For the most part Im able to find what I came in for. 90% of the time I have no issues at self checkout but when I do, most of the staff is friendly in assisting me. Lastly, the customer service staff is friendly and efficient 😊

2022-02-12Clean store. Good sales. Decent prices considering inflation and White Plains prices. Could use more seafood, but they had more than usual today, maybe for Superbowl. Staff is nice too.

2022-05-16The parking situation is weird. Carts arent allowed to roll to cars? No easier access provided? No carry baskets? However, they will validate parking fee with a minimum $20 purchase.Very clean ShopRite.

2019-08-15Big store with lots of options for both fresh and preserved foods and non-food. Coffee corner had freshly brewed drinks and (usually warm) pastry.Fresh produce and coldcuts can be sampled by asking staff who are always happy to help.Try shopping late at evening for a quiet and pleasant experience and plenty of staff to help find what you need.

2021-10-13Clean, organized, had all my items that I wanted as long as I found them!I asked 4+ workers where particular items were and NONE knew where they were located!! Very disappointed and surprised! Took me way longer than it should have taken. Great store as long as you know where the items youre shopping for are!!
