HIGHLY RECOMMEND! What a perfect setting to gather a makeshift reunion of high school friends. We were seated under a pergola in the back garden beside strings of festoon lights which created a warm inviting ambience and conversation flowed easily. Alexis was exceptional in her service not only of our gastronomic needs as well as her playful photography for our group. ** Give her a raise! ** We thoroughly enjoyed all Sidewalk Bistro has to offer and will return soon!
Sidewalk Bistro was wonderful. Wednesday lunch was well paced and the good was phenomenal. My wife and i had seared tuna and the salsa/chutney(?) played very well together. Other family members had mussels and they had a similar experience.

Its a nice space, nice garden (although full of mosquitoes) the food was underwhelming for the price.
I went there with couple of my friends, didnt know it was brunch until we got seated. However our waiter Dan heard our concern and checked with the kitchen to provide us with lunch menu. He went above and beyond and took care of all our questions and provided us with excellent service. The food was excellent as well. Portions were a good size. Overall a great experience and will def come back.

A short version of our last trip here: they were very accommodating and quick for our family of four who arrived without reservation; food was great, as usual; my Hendrix gin martini (two of them, actually) tasted weak / watered down - albeit the 2nd time around they did finally bring the extra olives for which I asked, but my partners cocktail was very good.
I live in Piermont this the best food and staff in the county.
The food is so so good, everytime we go, everything we order. The service is always terrific as well, and that back patio is so lovely when the weather is good. So nice to find a fine French restaurant that isnt exorbitantly expensive. Cant wait to go back!
It was definitely a joy to be there.The staff were warm and pleasent as they answered or questions, fulfilled our requests, and even had light conversations with us.The drinks were pretty good, the white sangria was great in flavor, but the apples were a little bit mushy.The food was also awesomeI had the crab cake,- it was enough on its own, to be honest, and i didnt eat all day.pizza(the 1st one on the list)- cheese and other toppings were great,and french friesThe bathroom was pretty clean, which is imprortant to me. Just know, theres only one bathroom (i think).We had two apps, 4 drinks, two entrees, one side, no dessert =$156 (including 15% tip)

Both sidewalk and backyard outdoor eating area. Prompt cordial service... weve eaten here numerous times. Wonderful lobster bisque and fought sized pizzas.
Atmosphere at this place is on point. Quaint and pretty patio (both front and back!). Really sets the mood. Definitely a cute hidden date spot. Staff is nice. Food is decent, not sure if its worth the higher prices. Cocktails are ok, nothing to write home about.

Taking a walk through Piermont found this quaint Bistro with side walk seating hence the name. I sat and enjoyed conversations with other patrons on a beautiful Sunday. The food was good just never had a beautiful Steak accompanied with French fries but I did say it was good. Only complaint was it took 30 mins for desert to arrive but as I was canceling it arrived, they graciously removed from bill. Sorry one more complaint, my waiter never read me the specials for the day. I had to overhear as it was being read to other patrons. All in all food good and prices were good also. 👍👍👍
What a delicious find! We were looking for an eatery near the water, biut werent happy with the one we found. So we settled here, but what a fantastic surprise! Ate outside. Had crab cake appetizer and it was perfect. For entree I had seared tuna and husband had shrimp and scallops. Both equally wonderful. Perfectly cooked and presented! White sangria was plentiful. What a wonderful anniversary dinner. Hopefully we will be back!
Outstanding food and service. All of the food we ordered was fresh, prepared exactly as requested, and was totally delicious. We will be returning often to use the outdoor seating of this restaurant as the weather warms up.

Very good food and pretty backyard patio for nice weather dining. I thought the service was good albeit a bit slow. I do recommend they replace the old tablecloths ASAP. They have dark possibly moldy spots on them and are not appetizing.

At the first moment you arrive in this restaurant team give you an agreeable feeling. Very congenial stuff, it is a good restaurant to hang out with friends or with your date. enjoyable cuisine, specialist chef de cuisine, good price and excellent service. Warmly recommended.
Escargot, duck, scallop, shrimp, pasta, everything was very tasty, including the coffee and drinks. They had a bunch of open seats in the back garden but we didnt realize, so we sat in the front for a little while before we asked to be moved. Tip to the hostess, always seat the customer in the back garden or at least mention it. My girlfriend might have gotten bitten by a mosquito.

Usually great food and service. Just had a bad experience with the manager though after waiting 2 hours and not getting our entrees. Dissatisfied with his service. Our server was overwhelmed with the number of tables to serve. I think they need some more servers for heavy traffic and someone needs to teach the manager some better manners.

We use to come few times a year from Manhattan just for the lunch, but yesterday we got a bad treatment and I will think twice before I come again! The waiter (big guy - older one) was so unfriendly and unprofessional that ruin our lunch and the rest of the day! First we didnt get what we ordered (it was brought only one portion of two Poullete) and than we have waited for the 15 minutes... The waiter supposed to be kind and check is everything OK and this one simply didnt care at all... Wrong guy in a great place!

I went to this restaurant with a companion. We were seated in the garden. It was nice. There was one problem. There was this cat roaming around which bothered me. (Please dont hurt the cat.) I am allergic to cats.We ordered mozzarella and tomato as well as an onion soup for an appetizer. The mozzarella was good. It was a light but tasty onion soup.For the main course we order sirloin steak with French fries and green beans. We also order Kobe burger with sautéed spinach. I ordered the steak medium well but it came out well done. Parts of the steak were overseasonded and burnt. The green beans were good. The French fries were good as well. The Kobe beef burger was good. There was one big problem. This is a French restaurant but there was a pickle with the burger. The pickle seemed out of place.It was a little pricey.The service was very good.Overall I gave it 3/5 stars.

Some lovely dishes. Definitely the best restaurant in the area. I love the ginger margarita but It has been very different every time I’ve had it.
Their mussels are fantastic!! I also had the escargot yesterday and it helped the way the presentation to help you forget its snails! A little expensive but its gooood!

Great atmosphere and delicious food. Price is fair based in what you get. I would definitely go back there. Maybe the only thing I would add is a low nice music to distract people a little since gets crowded outside and you end up listening other people conversations, but the place is really cool the way it is.
Good to see its still around after Corona. Needs some work but Im sure Doubt Sal & Alexis will have it top notch again
I had lunch with friends at the bar. I dont remember the bartenders name but he was incredible! He was so friendly and thoughtful and he knew what I needed before even ask for it. Great bartender, great food, great ambiance!
Great restaurant! Food is great and so is the owner! When the weather is good they have a great backyard patio were you can eat or have a great drink at the outdoor bar.
Overall a fan. The Kobe burger is incredible! If I had to be critical then I would suggest better toast with the omelette. Plain white toast is a bit too diner for such a nice bistro.

One of the best spots in the area for french food. If youre looking for steak go to a steak house. Otherwise they have many classic french dishes like foie gras, beef tartare, escargot, baked brie and amazing mussels. Theyre nightly specials are always great too

Wouldve rated a zero if I could have... So I walk into this joint and ask for some spaghetti, but the joker at the front desk looked at me like I had butterflies in the metamorphasis stage flying out of all of my orfices. He says sir we dont have spaghetti. So Im like fine Ill take some La Sag a(my countrys way to pronounce lasagna) Now again this punk looks at me and says we dont have that. Now Im new to America and all, but never in my 106 years of life have I ever been to a stinkin establishment that didnt offer their customers la sag a or sketti. What the friggy frick frack.

2021-09-12Awesome dinner. Drove up from West Orange, NJ and well worth the trip. No reservation but pleasant welcome. Dinner was delicious. Ordered an array of items, including French onion soup, escargot, mussels and endive salad. All exquisite. Dinner was a delicious and perfectly cooked steak and a crab pasta that was delightful. What a lovely experience. Kudos to the entire staff.

2022-05-09Have been here on multiple occasions and Ive never been disappointed. So of course my family brought me here for Mothers Day. The food and service are always excellent. Last night I enjoyed the Tempura Squash Flowers as an appetizer with the scallops/Shrimp Entree and had a taste of the Halibut, from my inlaws plate....Omg...All Delish!

2022-06-14DO NOT GO IF YOU HAVE ANY ALLERGYI have severe allergies and requested something as simple as an omelette with fresh vegetables no seasoning. They insisted they could accommodate this safety, as the food came out it in fact had seasoning and as soon as it hit my mouth I began to have an allergic reaction. Then told after the fact everything comes pre-seasoned. Lesson learned not to try some hole in the wall restaurants.

2022-01-18We are regulars there - Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall - weather permitting outdoors on the sidewalk enjoying Piermont people watching or the Continental type back patio. Winter months as well as much of the rest of the year, the bar is as comfortable and friendly (bartenders and customers!) as a bar can be. With the food ALWAYS being great and menu available late, eating at the bar is an always good time for us.
