Dr. Gold has been our go-to for years! He and the entire Sight MD staff have always been professional, thorough, and efficient.
Sr Sforza is great; very patient and explains procedure well...all the techs are polite and friendly.....recommending to all my friends and colleagues. I havent bad any contact with billing department. Not that I would have changed from the Dr. I am seeing, but my insurance coverage and cost was not discussed with me yet and I had my surgery. Maybe this should be considered ..otherwise a great place
The entire office staff was extremely accommodating and Dr. Gold was very thorough. I felt comfortable immediately and the fact I was able to get a Saturday appointment in an urgent situation was such a relief. I would absolutely recommend
I had a long wait that Friday but the staff was very nice to let me wait in my car. When I saw Dr Gold, he apologized so many times and briefly explained the reason for the delay (part because of the flood and part because of him being the only Dr on duty). I have anxiety over any dr visits but Dr Gold made me very comfortable with the eye drops and exams. Also he was practical but didnt mention a word but me getting old or aging. (😃) He is professional and understanding. So glad he is my doctor.
Dr. SFORZA IS WONDERFUL. BEEN A PATIENT FOR MANY YEARSPROBLEM IS OFFICE STAFF. THEY SPEND MOST OF THEIR TIME TALKING WITH EACH OTHER. THEY DO NOT LISTEN TO PATIENTS. HAD A PREVIOUS APPOINTMENT, RECEIVED REMINDER, BUT WHEN I ARRIVED, OFFICE WAS CLOSED. NO ONE BOTHERED TO CALL AND CANCEL APPOINTMENT. THEY ALSO DO NOT FOLLOW APPOINTMENT TIMES. THEY TAKE WHICHEVER PATIENT THEY FEEL LIKE EVEN WHEN I EXPLAINED WHO SHOULD GO FIRST AND WHY. ALTHOUGH DR. SFORZA WAS WONDERFUL-VERY PROFESSIONAL AND A GREAT DOCTOR, IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO DEAL WITH HIS OFFICE STAFF.

I have been a patient of Dr Michael Gold for many years and he now is part of SightMD.. He has done my Cataract Surgery on both eyes, with complete success and I have had many issues with infections in my eyes and he is always available to cure me.. the office staff in Little Neck is so on point and wonderful… I guess you could say my Eye Health is in very good hands👍
Had a 2:30 doctors appointment and waited for the doctor over an hour and 10 minutes. I was told that i might be seen at closer to 4 oclock and decided to leave the office. They are just simply overbooking.This has happened every time I have an appointment with these doctors at sigthmd never going back.
Dr Sforza and the team of care givers at SightMD have been exemplary during my cataract and lens replacement surgery. The surgery was a complete success, exceeding my expectations. I recommend their surgical group to anyone without reservation.
I went to SightMD on the recommendation of my family doctor and was extremely satisfied at everything they did.Not only were they very professional, polite, and efficient, but they made sure to confirm each appointment and set up a regimen as to when to take eye drops and also return for follow up check-ups.The surgeon I had, Dr. Sforza, was excellent. He explained everything, answered any questions I had, took the time necessary to make sure that I was comfortable and understood the procedure and all the follow-up appointments. He even made sure to call me each night of the day of surgeries. I had both eyes operated on for cataract removal. He genuinely cares about his patients and it shows.I would recommend them to everyone who is looking for a professional, well-organized, safe, and effective operation. They handle everything with attention to detail and care for the patient.After both operations, my eyes are in great shape and I have a follow-up in 6 months to see if theres anything else I need. They are truly very good at what they do and I recommend them highly with no reservation.

My eyes have been treated by Dr. Gold. He is wonderful, caring and give attentions to every potential problem of my sights. My husband is Dr. Paul patient. We like both of them. The nurses and staff too. All of them are very codial and polite professionals. My family is happy with this clinic.

I am glad that I chose Dr. Sforza and his staff for my cataract surgery. Despite COVID, they were able to schedule and perform the surgery with good organization and followup. Dr. Sforza was very informative and took time to explain the details of the process before, during and after surgery. It made all the difference in success. Dr Gold is very knowledgeable, wonderful doctor, answers all your questions, wait time is short ,staff is friendly and supportive.. Only one star less is due to longer hold time on phone calls.

This was my first visit with Dr.Gold, The technicians were thorough with their tests and I was given the results immediately. I liked Dr. Gold. He gave a detailed explanation of what he saw in the photos and how he would proceed. He seemed to be very experienced and he knew what he was doing. The staff was a kind and compassionate group of people and I was happy with my first visit. I think Dr. Gold will be in my life for a long time. I intend to convince more of my family and friends to visit Dr. Gold.

I have been coming to this office with Dr. Gold and Dr Sforza For years. They are experts in all aspects of the eyes and treating us with respect and thoroughness.
I needed an emergency appointment & the office fitted me in right away the same day. Dr. Gold was patient and explained everything, prescribed meds and instructions for me to do at home. I followed up with my regular ophthalmologist & he spoke highly of Dr. Gold when I informed him of what had transpired. I would most certainly go to Dr. Hold again if needed and switch to him if my ophthalmologist retires. The staff in the office was also friendly and attentive.
I had had something in my right eye for about a week, likely from power tool use. Nothing I did relieved the scratching and irritation. As it got worse, I knew it was time to visit a professional. Getting an immediate appt with an ophthalmologist was quite difficult, until I called Dr. Gold at SightMD.The office staff was fully understanding and accommodating, realizing I was in some distress, and worked me in to see Dr. Gold same day afternoon.Dr. Gold performed an exam, explained thoroughly what he found, and prescribed what he felt necessary. Only a day into treatment, Im still in the process of healing, but I must say my entire experience with Dr. Gold, and the staff at SightMD was excellent. These are caring, experienced people, and when it comes to ones eyes, exactly who one wants!

Dr. Paul Sforza (Ophthalmologist) at SightMD in Little Neck... A friend recommended Dr. Sforza to me, and it was a fantastic recommendation. Of course its easy to write a good review when you had a good exam, but also what I liked is the not only is Dr. Sforza very nice and personable, he explains what is going on as he does the exam and his staff are all very nice and professional too. The lady at the front desk was so courteous and helpful on check in, the vision assistants were equally personable. Sometimes you have a great doctor but the office staff are not, in this case I was really happy with everyone.
Dr Paul Sforza is the best! He made my experience easier with his pleasant bedside manner. I would recommend highly to all my family and friends.

I have been seeing Dr Gary Spitz at SightMD for many years now. My care has always been excellent and delivered in a caring, respectful manner. The office staff is always competent, polite and gracious. I continue to recommend Dr Spitz to friends who have the same experience I do. I hope Dr Spitz will continue to practice well into the future.
They have no regard or consideration for patients time. SIx months ago I made an appointment for last Thursday as a followup to a cataract problem. The office called to cancel because Doctor is out on a personal matter. I rescheduled for the following Thursday (today) and they call me 20 min before appointment to cancel again, with no option to reschedule. Do you know how long it takes to get an appointment? So unprofessional and inconsiderate. If a patient cancels an appointment most doctors want to charge. But its ok for this office to cancel appointments with no reschedule option. I reworked my entire day to accommodate this appointment, not that it matters to this office. They just lost my entire household as patients. Will not go back.

I have seen dr gold before and found him to be thorough. as this,was a last minute apptmt i saw a new dr. and i waited 1 hour and 45 minutes in an examining room despite the fact that there was no one in the waiting room. i was told on the phone that there was available appointments and given a specific time not an emergency appointment that was stuck in. despite that they took every single patient that came in before me and only when i kept complaining did the dr come in. the dr. was nice although not as thorough as dr gold.Update. i went 10 days later for a follow up and saw Dr. Gold as i requested. So much better and explained everything. i would highly recommend HIM and therefore Im adding 2 stars. if it was based only on dr gold Id give him 5 stars.

They cancel my appointment at 5:00pm the day before because the doctor was gonna be out for the rest of the week. Not considering that for us the not doctor people have to ask for days off at work to be able to visit them. Very aweful situation.

Unfortunately after over 25 years with Dr Gold my family is looking to move to a different office not with SightMD. The support service is horrible and they are impossible to connect with. Two weeks ago they cancel my appt after it was confirmed. Today they did the same thing to my sister. Talking to them goes on deaf ears.

Everything was fine but the wait time ruined my experience. Arrived at 3:30 for a 3:40 appointment, only one other person in the waiting room, ended up leaving at 5:45! Ridiculous waiting.

2022-01-18This location -Little Neck is very welcoming. The staff are thorough and helpful. My doctor is one of the best! Dr. Sforza and I work on my eye care health as a team. There is nothing I can ask that he doesnt have an answer for - so I feel relief and have a greater understanding of our eye health care plan. Kudos Dr. Sforza and the Little Neck Team.

2022-04-07The staff is very polite and competent , the testing equipment is very up to date and the various tests are very comprehensive. Dr. Sfroza has been our doctor for over 10 years and carefully explains the test results and keeps us aware of any changes.The office wait time from the appointed arrival to the start of the exam tests was almost an hour, so instead of 5 stars, I would give a 4.8 rating. Previous wait times were shorter.

2022-02-24I was able I get an appointment the same day to see Dr. Gold. The office was clean and quiet. All of the staff was very friendly and welcoming, as was Dr. Gold. I was in and out of the office within an hour. Overall great experience and will be returning to Dr. Gold moving forward

2022-04-15I have had the pleasure of having Dr. Sforza as my doctor. He always made me feel quite comfortable from the very 1st visit to present. I was diagnosed with having Cataracts and Dr. Sforza was very informative and attentive in explaining the entire procedure and hearing my concerns. I would recommend Dr. Sforza to anyone and everyone seeking eye care.P.S. I also have to give a HUGE shout out to the Surgical Coordinator, Andrea Ebert. She is the one who schedules all of Dr. Sforzas patients for surgery. She has been nothing but, PHENOMENAL . Andrea has taken her position as a Surgical Coordinator to a whole new level as far as I am concerned. She has gone above and beyond to do what she has done for me and is still doing for me. I cant begin to express how beyond Grateful and Appreciative I am to her. Please continue the good work you do.
