Place is a perfect stop for some snacks in a great atmosphere. Havent had a chance to check out the rentals but this place has some boats and paddle boards to rent. The owner Steve is awesome. He is really trying to make this place awesome all year round. Really looking forward to continuing to go back.
Rented a flying Scott and had a wonderful afternoon sailing. so nice to have Gary and the staff rig the boat and guide us in and out of the marina. Been going here for years renting sail boats and boats to fish in. They are super friendly and helpful. Cant wait to go back.
We decided to go to Silly Lilly for dinner. We had been hearing such great things about the food. From the minute Jay the owner came to the dock to help me park my boat a great evening began. We ran into friends and saw celebrities enjoying the food and atmosphere. Silly Lilly has brought life back to an old fishing station beyond this life long resident could imagine. Bravo Jay!
Jay and his team are fabulous! Friendly, very helpful and made us feel so welcome and comfortable as we decided to dock our first-ever boat (a small Boston Whaler) with them and the answered our myriad questions. They have been looking out for our boat and even pumped it out for us a few times! during the monsoon rains of the past few days. They are building a casual, cool and welcoming community that makes boating fun and stress free - and now with a great food truck, a farmers market and as I understand it - beer & wine on the way).A really cute, wonderful place to get on the water via a rental or to launch your own boat - and did I mention the amazing views!!??Three cheers for small business!David CollinsCenter Moriches / Long Island City
The best place to go and rent a boat for the day. Gary and the crew were very helpful with all our questions and made sure that we had a great time. The food was good they had all the bait and tackle we needed and the boats were clean. The kids loved this place and they cant wait to return.
My long time friend and I , Ernie who been fishing out of that Silly Lilly station for over 50 years and I been out there with my god father back 40 years ago made our fisrt trip of the 2017 fishing seasom April 22. We were the first renatal of the season for the station. The owner Jay at the Silly Lilly fishing station and Gary who was the previous owner and still helps at the station were the best and made sure we loaded up and got set in the boat and fished safe. They provided a map and locations to fish . They have bait and accessories needed for a great and safe day. When we returned they were right there to help us unload and get cleaned up before heading home.

2018-08-25The new owners of Silly Lilly have really done a wonderful job of updating this establishment while keeping all of its small town charm.. This fishing station/boatyard has been here literally my whole life (40 plus years!).. It was unchanged until it changed owners recently.. They offer fishing supplies, souvenirs, artwork and much more.. From Memorial Day through Labor Day you can visit several vendors here, including a food truck, an organic farm stand and a coffee & baked goods stand.. They also offers year-round boat slips, fishing trips, and daily boat, kayak and stand-up-paddle board rentals. This place has so much charm and is absolutely kid friendly. Do yourself a favor and stop by on a weekend for a bite to eat and a little sun and fun!!

2019-09-06Although the fishing hasnt been great the place is beautiful you do not feel like you are in New York City anymore. If you really want the small getaway and feel like you are perhaps in Miami, go to this place have some lunch and spend some time staring at the water. The food is great from the cart. It is fairly priced. Although I doubt that the $5 hot dog was Kobe beef, it was tasty nevertheless. The fishing in the other hand was horrendous. I could not keep my bait in the water because of sea robins. One suggestion I have for this place is to have fresh bait. I understand that as time passed by, fishing may have declined and it may not be the most profitable business for this place, but having fresh bait is essential to have a good time when fishing. If anybody has intentional fishing there I would suggest you to take your own bait and not buy it from silly Lillys. Especially when it comes to clams.
