So yummy, so fresh, build-your-own bowls like Cava or Chipotle so you can choose your favorite stuff. They also just opened an outdoor dining area which is super cute! Honestly the food and atmosphere was phenomenal but the real shining star was the staff, who were so friendly, helpful, and allergen-aware for our group full of people with gluten, nut, and lactose intolerances!!! Hugely recommend for anyone in the area or just passing through :) And try the beet lemonade!!!

Great little place! Recently renovated and working.om adding an outdoor seating area.Half a dozen signature bowls on the menu or creat your own.Smoothie bowls also available.Mango smoothie bowl was good - leans heavily in banana. Tofu gyro bowl and chicken shawarma bowls were tasty.Large and small sizes available. Small was plenty to fill our bellies.Friendly staff and clean facilities. A nice road trip find
If you are traveling on the thru way or in the general area, you NEED to stop in here for a great lunch!! This is Greek food done right! Generous portions at very fair prices. The hummus was so creamy and the Greek salsa was amazing!! We ordered online and picked up in person and everyone was so nice and welcoming! Great little restaurant!!
Love the food, nice healthy options. My only complaint after several visits is the reluctance of the employees to actually fill the bowls with the salata choices. The portions are ridiculously small. I dont mind paying a little extra but please fill the bowls.
We have enjoyed Simones DOZENS of times. The staff and the quality are consistently above average. The food is fresh, healthy, satiating and very affordable! Best place to eat in Coxsackie!!
The food here is amazing. My only complaint I have is I once was given raw cabbage rather than beets. I will still return. I live that this place is an easy menu to look at and avoid my food allergies. Staff is friendly. Food always tastes amazing! The food is great! I lived in the Albany area for years with many food options. Id recommend their food over most of the restaurants in and near Albany! Quality, delicious flavors, great value, and always fresh ingredients. One of my favorite places to go for a quick, much healthier, guilt-free meal. The bowls are great and the goat cheese pizza is something I never knew existed. The staff is friendly, helpful, and quick! Also, now that theyre open on Sundays is another plus. 5/5 I would definitely recommend this restaurant (and have!)
I’ve loved and supported Simones Kitchen from the very beginning. Worth the 1/2 hour drive to get there. The best Mediterranean around. Always fresh and colorful. Great staff! The place is clean and always improving!
Very nice experience. Just 4 minutes off the Thruway Exit 21B. Great alternative to Rest Area food. All organic and natural Mediterranean choices. Friendly staff, helpful for newbie visitors like me. Worth the stop! Call ahead and they will have it ready for you.

Loved simone’s. Food was fresh, delicious, and flavorful. Portions and prices were excellent. The staff here are so kind. Be sure to get the rose water lemonade.
Went here for lunch. We got some souvlaki wraps and meatball wraps, baklava, wrapped grape leaves, and falafel. Everything food wise was AMAZING. We got the orange blossom lemonade and that was so refreshing and had a nice flavor with the orange blossom. The service was wonderful and the ladies were helpful in discussing their menu and their inspirations.
DELISH! Absolutely delicious and a serious deal. Everything had so much flavor and was so fresh and yummy. Also had beet lemonade for the first time which was a delight.
We drove up from the city to visit family upstate, when my girlfriend was suddenly so hungry she turned into one of those people from the Snickers commercial where they get handed a snickers bar and turn back to themselves, ya know?Well were on this diet, actually it was my diet, but I lost 20lbs before we went to Puerto Rico, and she was dieting, but she doesnt need to, she looks great, but she didnt fit into any of her clothes, so the whole time she said she was going to try my new diet.So, were on this boring diet, and were driving up to visit my Nana, because shes old, keep in mind we have a bag of snacks. Dried fruit, some fresh fruit, some jerky, all of our normal boring diet stuff. Were about 50 miles out from Albany when she gets so hungry that she cant wait, but she doesnt want any of our snacks.I remember stopping in Coxsackie for gas years ago, so I look up a place to eat and sure enough Simones pops up. We have a ten minute diatribe about where were going to get groceries before going to my moms house to cook dinner until I can finally convince her this is the best option almost absolutely, without having ever been myself.Let me tell you internet buds Simones DELIVERED.The service is this new fast-casual, Chipotle-style make your own meal, but the options are plentiful. Multiple bases (rice, burrito, salad), protein, condiments, sauces, and I feel like they have other options that fall in and out of these categories. My girlfriend just literally asked for a little bit of everything. I got the Chicken Shwarma bowl. Everything was fresh, colorful, and SUPER TASTY.We wrote down some of the stuff they have so we can try to make these dishes at home for our dumb boring diet.Were telling all our upstate brethren to stop by on their way down to visit us.Future trips are being planned around our ability to stop by Simones Kitchen for a bowl of take-out.Thank you for your service Simone.
I absolutely love this place! The clientele is very outgoing and nice. My family and I have tried just about everything on their menu, and we have never had a bad meal from here. Plenty of open seating, drink options are also very good, and unique. If I could give Simones more than 5 stars, I would. I certainly hope this place continues to thrive in the Coxsackie area. Definitely one of my favorites!
Nice atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff, delicious food! Everything except the pitas and wraps are gluten free, and whether you try a signature bowl or make your own, you will not be disappointed! So many delicious options!
Simons has a great staff that is passionate about their work. The food us prepared fresh and all Halal. It is a fresh, filling and delicious option. Their large bowl will absolutely stuff you. They have vegetarian options as well and I highly recommend any of their food. Their fresh beverages are also incredible.
Food is different and it’s a odd mixture when you make your first visit.. but wow. They will kindly step you through the process. Top notch, great service. The owner is very intelligent and brought a “odd” food place into a small town and is killing it.

Simones food is delicious, fresh, healthy and consistent! Think Mediterranean Chipotle. The newly remodeled space allows more tables for eating in and is always very clean. Look forward to expanded drink menu and love the seasonal hummus specials.

An absolute shining gem of a restaurant with incredible food that is worth getting off the Thruway for— and doubly worth it if you happen to find yourself in Coxsackie to begin with.Top quality Mediterranean food with generous portions at a very reasonable price (easily half as expensive what I’m used to in the NYC area). Had the Mediterranean burrito bowl. Could have used a bit less spinach, but was so delicious. So much so, I devoted the bowl before taking a picture.Staff was super nice and the location was super cute!

Love this place! Delicious food and friendly service. My favorite item on the menu is the chicken shawarma. Their blueberry banana smoothie bowls are also another favorite. You can also order online and pick it up in 20 minutes - another great plus.
Small vibrant restaurant. The food is absolutely incredible with tons of options for those with allergies. Food is very very fresh and if you aren’t into healthy food, you will be after you try this food. Would highly recommend this place.

Simones is a fresh taste in a small town dominated by Italian and Chinese food. Placed appropriately next to an excellent sushi place, Simones has excellent flavor, new and changing concepts, and an energetic staff. My only wish is that I could eat there more often.
This is the diet that Albany Med, Mayo Clinic and your doctor recommends. Simone’s has a wide assortment of vegetables, grain, nuts, cheese and meat that is complementary to a healthy life style. Stay away from McDonald’s and come here! Your life will be rewarded in great health.Besides you will be supported in a young entrepreneur and matriarch rather than giving your money to big business and greed.The restaurant is quaint and clean and the customer service great. I was pleased when I saw that they use minimal use of plastic but instead some items that break down in compost.You will get no Coca-Cola or corn syrup here. Only healthy eating.
If you spend your weekend in Coxsackie, NY and area, as we do, forget about pizza. Instead opt for the excellent pies by Simones, a welcoming place, that is anxious to deliver (the exact opposite of other pizza places which are not accommodating at all). While scrolling through the manu youll find other delicious dishes too. The nice delivery person wears a mask, and is extremely polite. Bravo!
The food there is unbelievably good. Best of its kind. I love the innovative menue and the prices are great. Probably the most affordable price for such high quality natural and organic food. The bowels are Soo good, and the beverages are delicious. I loved every dish that I had. I tried everything that they offer for lunch and dinner and I tried a dessert bowl aswell. The dessert bowl was fantastic. I couldnt believe how good it was. Just like with the main course you can choose toppings and add ons. Inside it is a small cute little dinning area. The place was very clean, I honestly couldnt complain about any of it.

Love this place! The delicious, healthy food, the friendly and enthusiastic staff, the convenient location all work together. The only weakness is the space: small tables, max four-top. A place like this should be able to accommodate large groups and family-style service.I eiat there whenever I can.

Simones is hands down one of my favorite restaurants around. Best mediterranean I have ever had in my life. I had the pork souvlaki today and I HIGHLY recommend it. All of the ingredients are so fresh and the bowl gets you full in the best way possible. Simones doesnt get you so full to the point that you feel lethargic and lazy like other quick and fast restaurants, in fact Simones does the exact opposite. Simones makes you feel great and energized after you eat there. Simones is great after a work out or exercise because you get the right nutrients and proteins for your body. Oh yeah dont forget to try the beet lemonade because it is so unique and tasty.

Had the falafel bowl and it was amazing! One suggestion, can you add pitaya/acai smoothies or bowls to the menu? Theyre my fav! Otherwise this place is perfect! Definetly recommended! Support small businesses and shop locally!

You dont expect to find food like this is such a small town, but very tasty mediterranean fare, wraps and bowls with ample portions, I had the Mediterranean Burrito bowl and enjoyed it immensely. A great find, Ill be returning!

2021-08-29Simones is a hidden gem. I would have never imagined a unique Mediterranean eatery in such a small town but this place is incredible. I love the make your own bowl options. Highly reccomend, this place doesnt disappoint and staff is very friendly explaining each option well!

2020-04-07I haven’t had the opportunity to review any new local restaurants lately but I kept hearing such glowing reviews of Simone’s Kitchen’s bowls, we had to get some for takeout. Generous portions, everything so fresh and delicious! I got white rice with tofu, roasted potatoes, black beans, garlic chickpeas, creamy garlic dressing, kalamata olives, spicy yogurt dip, and mozzarella. Came with a side of pita bread. Sooooo good! My husband and sons enjoyed theirs too. Very reasonably priced as well. We will definitely be back soon.

2022-05-17I am stuck here out of town for work for some time, and I did not expect to find this gem in a small town. The food is fresh, and delicious, and to make it better, because I couldnt drive there, they deliver. The website was having a glitch and twice they have had to take my order over the phone and have been extremely gracious about it. To this restaurant and this staff, I appreciate you all! Sometimes good food is what keeps you going when your far from home.

2021-08-15The best and tastiest food in a very unlikely spot. The ingredients and the taste let you know that this is the real deal. Even when you walk in the door you can smell the clean in the air, not the grease and unhealthy of so many other places. The prices are beyond reasonable, the food filing, and how you feel after you eat is priceless. If you havent tried here yet, GO! If you havent been here in a while, then ask yourself why. The 🌎 needs more Simones, as I find myself driving 25 minutes to seek this out, but well worth it every time!

2021-07-15We did take out& were so happy we found out on Google to stop on our way. We got several veg and non vegetarian bowls & we were very happy. The spinach pie was very different than we expected, more like a pizza/Flatbread. Unfortunately our kids wouldnt eat that & it was a bit greasy. But the bowls were amazing and I wish we lived closer & Id eat here a lot!
