While OZ tried to fleece me Simplify charged much less for improved services that include 1 year of free storage. Simplify included plastic bins for packing my belongings while Oz did not give any supplies. Simplify brought a team of three movers that moved my studio (filled to the brim with belongings) in only a few short hours. There were absolutely no problems with the move and the movers were all cheerful. Simplifys management was responsive in their communications with me regarding the move. Thanks again, Simplify!
I had an incredible experience with Simplify. Had all of my items picked up, stored, and returned due to COVID-19 and all it took was about 4 emails. Their costumer service was incredible, COVID safe, and could easily navigate through specific college move-in and move-out procedures! Easiest moving experience of my life, way cheaper than expected, and I will definitely be using them in the future!
Have only had a great experience with Simplify - we live in an apartment in Brooklyn with very little storage and really needed somewhere to store our seasonal belongings. We use the valet service regularly and is ideal because we dont own a car and can have the items quickly! The employee who does pick up/drop off is great and is always on time and carries everything in and our of your apartment with no issues! Definitely a convenient and I like that they combine a few services into one (we have bins + a storage unit with them)
My experience with Simplify Valet Storage was one I can’t recommend enough. With what was an unpleasant situation In having to store my stuff because of moving they made sure I had no worry and fear in taking care of everything I needed.Their response time was quick even during the pandemic which I wasn’t expecting and any member I dealt with on the phone or in person was excellent in accommodating and understanding what I needed done.Once a time and date was organised their crew came on time and were diligent and careful with moving big items I had and were helpful with me packing in their storage bins.Simplify were sharp, reliable and great to work with. Definitely a service I’ll use again in the future and thoroughly recommend.
I needed storage bins in a hurry to pack up my apartment in preparation for some home renovations. I called Simplify and within minutes they had me set me up with exactly what I needed and went out of their way to deliver the bins to me that same day. The delivery driver was courteous, prompt, and called me right away to find a time that would work for the drop off and then I received a call from customer service immediately after confirming that I was completely settled. The bins were just what I needed for the job and then two weeks later, the pickup I had scheduled online happened exactly on time, again in a professional and friendly manner. I will be using them in the future for any similar needs that arise.
I used Simplify Valet Storage’s light move service recently and they were amazing.They dropped off the storage containers and plastic ties right to my door within the time frame I specified. The containers were sturdy easy to pack and lift.When it was time to collect the items and move, the team arrived right on schedule and worked very quickly. They were polite and respectful of my home and my belongings.What’s great is they also offer storage solutions, so if you want to store your winter clothes or other seasonal items to de clutter your home they drop off the bins and take them away and you don’t have to worry about anything.Highly recommended, would hire them again in a heartbeat!
In planning on moving my daughter home from school for the summer I came across Simplify Valet Storage and am very happy I did. From the person I spoke to over the phone to the gentlemen who delivered and picked up the crates, each was polite, friendly and professional. They came promptly as promised and we just had no problem whatsoever. I highly recommend this company for your storage needs.
I was disappointed with the lack of communication and fees that were charged without notice. Even though I had my furniture moved out of a storage unit after a few days at the beginning of the month, they charged me for the entire month and refused to prorate the monthly fee based on actual days used. I was also told I didnt have to unpack storage bins on the spot when they were moved and that theyd pick them up later for no charge, and then was charged bin rental fees unknowingly.
The best storage company! When I had to evacuate my college dorm due to COVID-19, Simplify Storage quickly dropped off bins and picked them up the next day. When I moved back to the city, they helped carry all the bins up to my apartment and even waited for me to unpack them before leaving. Amazing service and friendly employees. Highly recommend.

I used Simplify when I needed some furniture items picked up and stored within a very quick turnaround. I spoke with customer service to confirm I would be able to schedule everything on time and that they would be able to accommodate everything for pick-up and drop-off. They were SO incredibly helpful getting everything setup and making sure that the whole process went smoothly. Great service!
We needed a storage option immediately for a student moving out of a residence on short notice. We booked quickly and easily online for bin delivery the next day. I called to confirm and promptly received a very pleasant callback. The bins were dropped off and picked up on time and the delivery team was pleasant, efficient, and helpful. I had to move out of my NYC apartment with very short notice, I called SImplify Valet Storage after seeing such positive reviews and the service didnt fall short of amazing. Jenny, who answered all my questions even shared a personal contact with me in case I had more after business hours, booked my service for next day. She was truly God sent. The gentleman that arrived, arrived timely with proper PPE and were quick and efficient. No marks, dings or damages and not task was too big for them. I cant wait for the same experience when they move me in to my new place in a few weeks.
Great storage service to use! Fast, easy, and the staff is super attentive and accommodating. I had a quick turnaround time for moving some things into storage, and one of the staff made sure to fit me in for a last-minute delivery slot. I had a great experience, and this is a great company for short-term or summer storage.

I do no have a car so storage units are hard to access and I also love the fact that they provide sturdy boxes. The valet service is seriously a life saver! I was really nervous about the timing since I had a flight that evening. They showed up exactly on time and had everything out in under 30 minutes. They wrapped my furniture really well (which was reassuring because it was all my grandmothers) and were overall very professional and careful. Made moving much less stressful.
Simplify Valet Storage was the perfect fit for my move! They came on time, and it was an easy process setting up my appointments for pickup and drop offs. I would 10/10 recommend using this service again. Even if I werent moving and I just needed space I would still use Simplify.

I am so happy I found this company! Darragh has been consitently patient and understanding on the phone while I have been navigating a stressful and uncertain move. Not only are my emails responded to promptly, but the phone conversations are always friendly and enjoyable. I am provided with honest and informative answers to my numerous and even hypothetical questions and have been given a solution to every problem. Jack(I believe) came to help move my belongings and drops them off when I use the valet service, he and his coworker are polite, efficent and respectful of me and have always been careful and respectful when handling my belongings. I cannot reccommend this place enough. I had issues with the website at one point but I was helped immediately over the phone and the website was updated shortly after.
Super convenient storage option in Manhattan. They were fast, friendly, and affordable. I packed my bins and the employee came up and did the rest for me. I will definitely be using them again in the future. Anyone looking to store smaller items should definitely look into using this company. The bin delivery and pick up makes things so much easier and way more convenient!
BEWARE! They dont have insurance and dont guarantee any protection of your belongings. Ive been lied to numerous times and told different stories by different staff members. The concept is great but with the lack of ANY customer service, its a nightmare. Invoices dont load on the website, credit card charges continue after Ive ended my services and returned the boxes and you can never get anyone on the phone or to professionally answer any of your emails. Save yourself the stress and find somewhere else.
Great experience using Simplify Valet Storage! Love the concept of valet storage, especially as a student who wasnt living in the city for the summer. They picked up and dropped off my stuff with ease, even did all the heavy lifting! Would recommend for stress free move. P.S. theres a student discount!!
This past week I have had the pleasure of working with Simplify Storage and trying their services. I must say I have not met a more organized and courteous group of people from the sales team to the delivery/pick up team. The communication process between their team and ours was fantastic. SO if your in the NYC area looking for a storage option I highly recommend trying Simplify Storage!
Easy to use. Boxes were sent and picked up promptly and without hitch. Company policy to not accept tips relieves social anxiety of customer. Three slight complaints: (1) was introduced via a housing fair only two weeks before signing up but the promo offer code given during the fair was already inactive; (2) company policy only allows them to deliver boxes to the entry of the apartment and not up the lift; (3) many hidden fares such as subsequent delivery of boxes.
Everything was great and so easy to do! The drop off guys came up to my third floor walk up apartment and picked up without ever complaining, two lovely guys. The guy on the phone, Darragh, was so helpful when I needed to change the time of my pick up to a little bit later. Great service overall!
Had to get our daughter out of NYC quickly after the dorms at her college were closed. Simplify Storage made the process so much less stressful than it might have been otherwise. Setting it up on-line was quick and easy, but when I needed to speak to someone in person due to an unexpected wrinkle, the folks at the office were super-responsive and helpful.

The two lads Salvatore and Austin were exceptional, and I will be sure to refer you guys to all of my colleagues some of which are due to move soon also.You made everything so easy and I had read horror stories about movers, so thank you!
So sad to move my 5 star rating after a great pick up of my things to a 1 star rating upon a destructive arrival. My 4 ft crystal geode was completely broken; there had been a small crack and after I gave firm instructions not to lift it by that end, once I stepped out for a few minutes the movers ignored my instructions and completely broke off the end. They didnt even collect all the pieces, so there is no way to get it completely repaired.Because there had been a small crack, I was told it was already damaged and therefore I was 50% responsible (they would only cover half the repair cost) – despite the crack being tiny and my instructions being completely ignored the second I turned around. Additionally, they wouldnt support bringing it to a repair shop, requiring that I hire and pay for new movers, and find time during the workweek to go. A bunch of my other things had smaller scuffs from rough handling as well.I love giving rave reviews, but was wildly disappointed. At a time where I was sick and moving, Simplify Storage added additional destruction and financial loss to an already stressful time.
I used this service and had a great experience. The driver was on time for both drop off and pick up. He was both professional and pleasant, and delivered about 30 boxes in sweltering summer heat with a smile on his face. Simplify made the moving process for the first time, very easy. Will use again for our next move.
Excellent company. Delivery people were there at the beginning of the 2 hour window time for both drop off and pick up. Company is by far the lowest price for this type of storage and we were even given an NYU discount on top of that. Highly recommend using for NYU summer storage or any other storage you may have
Unprofessional and a pain. They dont run a transparent business and point fingers at their customers for their shortcomings. Their movers are late, their customer service is incompetent, and you need to call them to remove your bank account information / profile. The FAQ page has the most important info, but its like their website hides it (I work with branding and design, and this is clearly intentional or an embarrassing lack of vision), in fact the Home page and How It Works page only detail the most basic parts of their service, specifically leaving out other important details (strict month-to-month policy, movers fee which is basically at least $200, etc.) I spent around $400 more than I expected - this is for 1 month. Their movers are nice and helpful! The problem is with their management, website, and communication. Would avoid doing business with them.
Such a great experience! I have used other storage companies in the past but they were such a pain to get to and I always had to rent a car or truck. I loved that Simplify Valet Storage came to my house and took everything away for me, so convenient!

I was very happy with the service I received from simplify storage. The bin drop and pick up was easy and so was the bin delivery and subsequent bin pick up. The employees were friendly and effective and the customer service / support I received was fantastic.
This was an amazing service! It made my move from dorm to apartment so smooth. The boxes are a great size, and the price per month for storage is really reasonable. Will definitely use this again!
Great service! Highly recommend - reasonable pricing and very prompt service. The packers come and help with all the boxes, and the boxes are exactly as described on the website. If you ever need a quick, efficient packing service in New York, please use Simplify!

I couldnt recommend simplify storage enough. I rented bins to move and it made the process so much easier. I also currently rent a storage unit along with 5 bins and the staff are so great to deal with. Will definitely continue to use :)

2022-04-27We paid Simplify Storage to pack our furniture. When it came back, the sofa upholstery was torn and a wood statue cracked. The movers said the items werent packed well enough and they had no choice to drag the sofa, knowing the damage they were doing. In all, there was about $5K in damage. When I called to complain, I was offered $50, the maximum payout according to their terms and conditions. In the end, I couldnt even get them to pay that $50. Unbelievable!

2022-04-20I stored my things from my one bedroom when my lease ended 6 months ago. Now that Im returning and need my items back, they are no longer taking pickup and delivery requests over the phone. However they are not responding to emails, and overcharged me for my storage last month. It feels like theyve gone under. Sentimental items, electronics, my bed, furniture, is all with them and they have been unhelpful. Worried Ill never see my items again.Update: Upping to 3 stars. My things we all returned undamaged, on time. I was charged what they stated I would be charged. The reason I wont give more is because they do seem to be struggling or going under right now. Their managing director returned my phone calls after a panic and fixed everything for me, but I did find it strange that there are no customer service reps to contact, no phone access (I had his personal number, and the Instagram phone number links to New Zealand.) I couldnt recommend storing with them as I think its difficult to get in touch with them to retrieve things and thats a dealbreaker. But as far as moving, their movers were professional, quick, careful, and arrived within their window.

2022-04-13I dont know how they are at moving but at storage they are the worst. There is literally no communication whatsoever. You send your stuff off and hope for the best. If there is an issue good luck to you as they have no phone contact and rarely answer emails. I normally switch out my things seasonally and have it back now. Its for sure not going back after I couldnt get the simplest of questions answered.

2021-05-01I had a great experience with Simplify storage. The movers were wonderful, they were very nice and took very good care of everything, wrapping my furnitures carefully. Moving can be stressful and they made it easy and smooth. The communication with Simplify was great too. They are very responsive and helpful (I had many questions!). I would use their service again! And recommended them to my friends.

2021-09-22Im a huge believer in leaving good, bad and ugly reviews....Thankfully this review is a good one!!!!! I used Simplify after a horrible experience with another moving company who showed up Ill equipped to do my moving job...Every single person from Darius in the office (think thats how you spell his name) to the 3 movers were so professional, safe and kind.They made a stressful situation much easier. In the end the price quoted was what I paid! Im sure Darius doesnt want to see my number on the caller ID anytime soon... but I will be using this company for my next move!

2021-07-28Simplify was the best and most pain free moving experience Ive ever had. Scheduling could not have been easier thanks to Darragh. He was incredibly helpful and was able to accommodate a move with only two days advance notice, including arranging for COIs, extra storage bins, etc. The movers were also great -- very professional and efficient. They packed and moved out my apartment in two hours flat. Ill be using Simplify for all future moves.

2021-08-26Terrible customer service that is rude and almost impossible to get ahold of and unclear policy guidelines that is designed to scam.I believe their high ratings come from when they were offering discounts for positive reviews on Google.Our family used Simplify Storage several times to help us store things in the city. We had always had a pleasant experience with them and yet our most recent experience was horrifying. The movers came at a different time than promised and when we tried to contact customer service they did not pick up several times. When we finally got ahold of them they refused to apologize and were extremely disrespectful. The dates that the customer service person said were available also did not match the dates available on their website. The wording of their rates are also designed to be deceiving to sneak in rates while making it the customers responsibility. They require you to contact them directly to remove your credit card from your account--so avoid them while you can. While weve recommended their services to several of our friends, we will most certainly take our words back.

2020-11-16This company was a delight to work with. I was managing my aunts estate remotely during a pandemic and I dont know what I would have done without their help in moving and storing her belongings. Several times I needed to do things with short notice and they were ready and able to oblige. Their customer service was awesome and their attention to detail was great. I will say that working with them has been a pleasure. I definitely recommend their services to others.
