We paid Simplify Storage to pack our furniture. When it came back, the sofa upholstery was torn and a wood statue cracked. The movers said the items werent packed well enough and they had no choice to drag the sofa, knowing the damage they were doing. In all, there was about $5K in damage. When I called to complain, I was offered $50, the maximum payout according to their terms and conditions. In the end, I couldnt even get them to pay that $50. Unbelievable!

I stored my things from my one bedroom when my lease ended 6 months ago. Now that Im returning and need my items back, they are no longer taking pickup and delivery requests over the phone. However they are not responding to emails, and overcharged me for my storage last month. It feels like theyve gone under. Sentimental items, electronics, my bed, furniture, is all with them and they have been unhelpful. Worried Ill never see my items again.Update: Upping to 3 stars. My things we all returned undamaged, on time. I was charged what they stated I would be charged. The reason I wont give more is because they do seem to be struggling or going under right now. Their managing director returned my phone calls after a panic and fixed everything for me, but I did find it strange that there are no customer service reps to contact, no phone access (I had his personal number, and the Instagram phone number links to New Zealand.) I couldnt recommend storing with them as I think its difficult to get in touch with them to retrieve things and thats a dealbreaker. But as far as moving, their movers were professional, quick, careful, and arrived within their window.

I dont know how they are at moving but at storage they are the worst. There is literally no communication whatsoever. You send your stuff off and hope for the best. If there is an issue good luck to you as they have no phone contact and rarely answer emails. I normally switch out my things seasonally and have it back now. Its for sure not going back after I couldnt get the simplest of questions answered.

My moving experience has been seamless from getting a quote to coordinate the moving bins drop off to the actual moving day! Thank you to Darragh and Pablo for coordinating! Jackie and his team were great during moving day! They were courteous and very efficient with handling my furniture and other items. Im very happy with the service provided!

I had a great experience with Simplify storage. The movers were wonderful, they were very nice and took very good care of everything, wrapping my furnitures carefully. Moving can be stressful and they made it easy and smooth. The communication with Simplify was great too. They are very responsive and helpful (I had many questions!). I would use their service again! And recommended them to my friends.

Im a huge believer in leaving good, bad and ugly reviews....Thankfully this review is a good one!!!!! I used Simplify after a horrible experience with another moving company who showed up Ill equipped to do my moving job...Every single person from Darius in the office (think thats how you spell his name) to the 3 movers were so professional, safe and kind.They made a stressful situation much easier. In the end the price quoted was what I paid! Im sure Darius doesnt want to see my number on the caller ID anytime soon... but I will be using this company for my next move!

SimplifyStorage moved us yesterday for a second time this year- with short notice they once again helped do a terrific job. We kept saying last night “could not have done this without them”! Simplify was the best and most pain free moving experience Ive ever had. Scheduling could not have been easier thanks to Darragh. He was incredibly helpful and was able to accommodate a move with only two days advance notice, including arranging for COIs, extra storage bins, etc. The movers were also great -- very professional and efficient. They packed and moved out my apartment in two hours flat. Ill be using Simplify for all future moves.

Terrible customer service that is rude and almost impossible to get ahold of and unclear policy guidelines that is designed to scam.I believe their high ratings come from when they were offering discounts for positive reviews on Google.Our family used Simplify Storage several times to help us store things in the city. We had always had a pleasant experience with them and yet our most recent experience was horrifying. The movers came at a different time than promised and when we tried to contact customer service they did not pick up several times. When we finally got ahold of them they refused to apologize and were extremely disrespectful. The dates that the customer service person said were available also did not match the dates available on their website. The wording of their rates are also designed to be deceiving to sneak in rates while making it the customers responsibility. They require you to contact them directly to remove your credit card from your account--so avoid them while you can. While weve recommended their services to several of our friends, we will most certainly take our words back.

This company was a delight to work with. I was managing my aunts estate remotely during a pandemic and I dont know what I would have done without their help in moving and storing her belongings. Several times I needed to do things with short notice and they were ready and able to oblige. Their customer service was awesome and their attention to detail was great. I will say that working with them has been a pleasure. I definitely recommend their services to others.
