I can’t even begin to express my gratitude for Mike, and his team. The service was extraordinary, the food was stunning and delicious and the bar was perfect. Our guests still tell us how amazing the food, drinks and service staff was. Sarah at the bar was the nicest girl, she even gave me her leftovers! The staff was so polite, organized and efficient... they even practiced putting the plates down at each table synchronizing the timing so all guest received their food at the same time. His crew set up, broke down and made our night the best!! We used mike as our only vendor and because of him and his crew we had the best wedding ever. Highly reccomend.. especially if using Locust Grove!! Happy to give this business 5 stars!! Our wedding went off without a hitch and they even were so thoughtful to bring drinks and hourderves to us while taking our photos.
Mike from simply gourmet is an amazing chef. His food is delicious and I have not stopped getting compliments from friends and family about how tasty the food was. His menu had a wide variety of things to choose from and if we wanted something else mike customized it to suit our needs. We had chosen the Mac and cheese bar (yum)the Mediterranean bar(yum) pork loin,beef loin mix baby veggies mashed potatoes and mushroom ravioli.Mike and his staff made it easy to relax and enjoy I really would recommend them for your big day and any event you might be having.
Mike and team are wonderful caterers, I have used them for multiple holiday parties, graduation parties, and other events. The food is always amazing, and Mike works with you to plan the menu and get the right amount and types of food for your event. I constantly get compliments from my guests on how great the food is! I completely recommend Simply Gourmet for terrific food and a great experience !
We had a bridal shower there for my niece. The food was amazing, and the staff was fantastic! The place is perfect for a small event. Will use this place for future events for sure!!
I have been ordering the Thanksgiving dinners for 7 years, each year we are thrilled with the food. Bravo Michael. Try it, you wont go back to cooking yourself.
I went to Simply Gourmet for lunch and I had pulled pork, mac and cheese with coleslaw. The food was amazing. It was the best food I have had in a long time. The employees are so friendly too. I highly recommend this restaurant for their delicious food.
Great steak and chicken. Both you could cut with a butter knife. And very friendly and attentive staff.

This WAS our favorite lunch spot !! Food was always fresh and reasonably priced. Went there 2 weeks ago and got 2 salads we all were very happy Salads were $9 + tax This week we went and got the same thing and again was happy did notice the price since we were just there a few days earlier assumed it was the same price. We were also paying with a gift card so they wrote the amount on the back. Today took out gift card and was in complete shock that they charged us $30+ for the same 2 salads. Went to talk to the them and the same young man who rang us up was working and said he had no idea what we were talking about and would do nothing to fix it. Unfortunately you just lost a office of 30+ over you poor service and lack of organization.
Yummy fresh food. Wonderful staff. Love their daily take out dinners during these uncertain times. Hope they continue this service. Meals are full of flavor and variety. Staff is friendly and accommodating.
Mike and his staff take great care to provide you with an exceptional meal every time....we ordered off the weekend barbecue menu...we were stuffed...leftovers for days and the price point was spot on....great food and easy on the pockets....Simply Gourmet lives up to its name...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED...will be back fo more!
My sister rented the place for brunch. Food was great, the space was clean and comfortable, and the staff were wonderful.
Out of the 6 meals I have had in the past 2 months, there was one that I would call mediocre. Keep up the good work.

2022-07-16Simply Gourmet catered our wedding and simply blew us away with their organization, timeliness and kindness! Mike helped us plan our wedding for two years, and did not disappoint! Shoutout to Darnell, the team’s captain. It rained on our wedding day and Darnell made us feel at ease. We had originally planned for an outdoor ceremony, and were pretty upset when the rain wouldn’t let up. Darnell’s daughter got married at the same venue (also on a rainy day), and she assured us they could make our ceremony look just as beautiful inside and she was right! The team turned the reception area into a ceremony for us and it looked stunning!Our guests couldn’t stop telling us how delicious Simply Gourmet’s food was! We have some snobby food guests, so I was worried about what they would say, but we heard back only good things! We loved the food and crave it every now and then! I think the best part about the day was how hospitable the staff was to us, they made sure we had a plate of all the cocktail food immediately after the ceremony, and a drink in our hands at all times. The entire staff treated us like royalty, we felt so special all day. A few even joined us on the dance floor at one point.I would 100 percent recommend booking Simply Gourmet for your wedding and/or any event for that matter! Thank you Mike, Darnell and the SG team!

2022-05-24My husband and I chose Simply Gourmet to cater our wedding. Mike and his team were extremely helpful from start to finish. Mike is very responsive via email. He is very friendly, helpful, professional, and organized. The tasting was amazing and our guests raved about our wedding food. I could not be any happier with our cocktail hour and reception selections. Go with Mike and Simply Gourmet. They are the best and you will not be disappointed!

2021-11-16My husband and I chose Simply Gourmet to cater our wedding last week and they made the night wonderful. Mike was so helpful and flexible during the planning stages. Especially because my husband and I live 5 hours away from the venue and had some difficulty with mail. Mike was helpful, fun, and encouraging throughout the whole process. He even ended up bartending that night and many of my guests said he was fantastic and remembered their orders!The other staff was also amazing, checking in on us all night to see if we needed any drinks and always making sure we had food. The food itself was delicious. We really loved the beef tips, salmon, and the butternut squash raviolis.Im a very hands-off bride, so Simply Gourmet was heaven sent for me. They helped make our wedding night memorable and smooth. I recommend working with them!

2021-10-25My husband and I hired Simply Gourmet to cater our rehearsal dinner. We had several family members from out of town as well as a large bridal party so we chose to have a large cocktail party rather than a formal sit down dinner. The food was absolutely delicious, served hot and fresh! We were concerned people might not get enough but that was definitely not the case. The staff was excellent and so attentive. We highly recommend and would hire again.

2021-04-27I cannot say enough good things about working with Simply Gourmet. From the beginning, Mike was an absolute pleasure to work with. Covid unfortunately hit us mid wedding planning, but Mike was 100% on top of all the guidelines and great with keeping us updated. We ended up going forth with our original date with 50 guest and we are so happy we did not postpone. We actually ended up using Simply Gourmet for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. Their on-site space is perfect- it allowed our guests to move around freely without worrying about bothering other guests in a restaurant. It allowed us (and our guests) to really get to know the team (esp the bartender) that would be at our actually wedding. There is so much variety to their menu, that there was no overlap at all with food between the rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. Darnell was out captain for both events and she really helped everything run so smoothly. Our families still cannot stop talking about how great everything was. We would recommend Simply Gourmet for any event, and can hopefully find an excuse to use them again.

2021-10-29We reached out to Mike months in advance to see if they could cater for our wedding and they fortunately had space still available. We were very impressed by the selection and the price. Mike and his team were able to provide us the food warm right in time for the reception. The food was simply outstanding. All the guests loved it and there seemed to be nothing leftover. Highly recommend!

2021-12-05Considering that this primarily for kids the menu selection was slim . No Pancakes, no waffles - only scrambled eggs and something that was suppose to resemble French toast. No milk and had to struggle to get apple juice. Lunch for the kids did not include Mac and cheese. Service was sub par. Waitress did not come on a regular basis. Had to ask which ever employee happen to walk by. No automatic refresh on the 1/2 cup of coffee which was served. To add to the insult we were asked on the way out whether we had paid for the meal. Santa was there primarily for a photo shoot. Unfortunately will not be a repeat customer.

2020-07-29We used Simply Gourmet for our wedding last weekend and my guests are still calling me to rave about the food! The service Mike and his staff provided were exemplary. The food was unbelievable! Mike and his staff were professional and courteous to us and all of our guests. I will definitely be recommending them to anyone who asks, as well as using them for all of my catered events. Thank you for making our day fantastic!!

2021-09-25Paid over $600 for dry chicken. Dry pulled pork with stale buns and tasteless steak and Mac and Cheese. I took a chance on this caterer because of all the reviews. Ruined my daughter’s 30th birthday party. Everyone complained and I made sure to tell everyone where I got the food from.
